    We investigate the spectro-photometric variability of quasars due to lensing of small mass substructure (from several tens to several hundreds solar masses). The aim of this paper is to explore the milli/microlensing influence on the flux anomaly observed between images of a lensed quasar in different spectral bands and possible influence of small mass structure lensing of non-macrolensed quasars.We find that spectro-photometric variability may be also caused by lensing of small mass diffuse structure and can produce the flux anomaly which is sometimes seen in different images of a lensed quasar. Additionally, we found that the lensing by small mass diffuse structure may produce significant changes in photo-center position of a quasar, and sometimes can split or deviate images of one source that can be detected as separate from the scale from 0.1 to several milliarcseconds. This can be measured ith Gaialike space astrometric missions. We point out a special case where a low redshifted deflector zd = 0.01 is lensing a high redshifted source, for which the variability in the flux and photocenter (several milliarcseconds) may be detected on a relatively short time scale.     More than half of the global population now lives in towns and cities. At the same time, transport has become the highest single energy-consuming human activity. Hence, one of the major topics today is the reduction of urban transport demand and of energy consumption in cities. In this article we focused on the whole package of instruments that can reduce energy consumption and transport demand in Belgrade, a city that is currently at a major crossroad. Belgrade can prevent a dramatic increase in energy consumption and CO2 emissions (and mitigate the negative local environmental effects of traffic congestion, traffic accidents and air pollution), only if it: 1) implements a more decisive strategy to limit private vehicles use while its level of car passenger km (PKT) is still relatively low; 2) does not try to solve its transport problems only by trying to build urban road infrastructure (bridges and ring roads); and 3) if it continues to provide priority movement for buses (a dominant form of public transport), while 4) at the same time developing urban rail systems (metro or LRT) with exclusive tracks, immune to the traffic congestion on urban streets.     Doses from the exposure to outdoor radon are typically an order of magnitude smaller than those from indoor radon, causing a greater interest on investigation of the latter for radiation protection issues. As a consequence, assessment of radon priority areas (RPA) is mainly based on indoor radon measurements. Outdoor radon measurements might be needed to guarantee a complete estimation of radiological risk and may help to improve the estimation of RPA. Therefore, authors have analysed the available literature on outdoor radon to give an overview of outdoor radon surveys and potential correlation with indoor radon and estimation of RPA. The review has shown that outdoor radon surveys were performed at much smaller scale compared to indoor radon. Only a few outdoor radon maps were produced, with a much smaller density, covering a larger area, and therefore putting doubt on the representativeness of this data. Due to a large variety of techniques used for outdoor radon measurements and requirement to have detectors with a high sensitivity and resistance to harsh environmental conditions, a standardised measurement protocol should be derived. This is no simple endeavour since there are more applications in different scientific disciplines for outdoor radon measurements compared to indoor radon.     HOLSAT instrument measures tourist satisfaction by comparing tourists' expectations and experience regarding various destination attributes. Destination image influences tourists' expectations, while experience in the destination modifies tourists' image perceptions, creating differences between pre-visit and post-visit images. Based on these relationships, which are theoretically explored in its first part, this study argues that HOLSAT may be used for destination image research. The second part of the study represents a demonstration of how HOLSAT may be used for measurement of both tourist satisfaction and destination image, whereby the research was conducted in Belgrade, a developing urban destination. The city's tourism industry and destination image were severely damaged in the 1990s, whereby they have started to slowly recover since 2000. Based on the results of the conducted survey, satisfactory and unsatisfactory destination attributes were identified, as well as positive and negative components of city's pre-visit destination image. The most important positive components are related to the destination's affordability, while the negative components are related to safety, cleanliness and the arrival station. Modifications of destination image caused by the visit were also identified. The biggest image improvement after the visit was registered in attributes related to safety and the friendliness of the local residents, while the negative modifications related to the public transport were identified as the most important ones.     Čukaru Peki is a recently discovered copper-gold deposit in the Bor metallogenic zone in east Serbia. Three types of mineralization can be distinguished in this ore deposit: porphyry, high-sulphidation, and transitional epithermal type. This research was focused on fluid inclusion analysis of genetically different veins from the porphyry and the transitional zones of Čukaru Peki with an aim of better understanding the fluid evolution and mineralization processes in this system. Seven types of veins were identified in the porphyry zone of Čukaru Peki and four of these veins contained transparent minerals which were suitable for fluid inclusion analysis. Eight types of inclusion assemblages were distinguished in these veins: type 1 – primary inclusions with homogenization temperatures above 550°C and high salinity, type 2a- scattered polyphase inclusions two salt crystals, type 2b-polyphase inclusions with two salt crystals in crystal growth zones, type 3- brine inclusions with one salt crystal in crystal growth zones, type 4- vapour-rich inclusions, type 5- primary inclusions in anhydrite, and types 6 and 7- secondary low-temperature inclusions This research suggests that saline fluids (30-40% wt.% NaCl eq.) were the most important ones for the formation of porphyry-type mineralization and that the mineralization was formed at temperatures between 350 and 450°C and pressures between 100 and 500 bars. The epithermal stage was characterized by cooler low-salinity fluids with temperatures between 150-350°C, and salinity between 0 and 7 wt.% NaCl eq.

    Mačva is a lowland area between the rivers of Drina and Sava which has mediating and centralizing role between the Dinaric mountain region and the Pannonian basin through history. In this paper the attention is given to metanastasic (staged) migratory currents and settlement of Mačva in the context of socio-historical changes and geopolitical developments from 17th to the end of the 20th century. The waves of migrants from different directions lapped sparsely native population and gradually assimilated so that now makes up unique cultural and ethnographic complex.     Honeybee colony losses have been a focus of research in the last years, due to the importance of managed honeybee colonies for economy and ecology. Different unfavorable conditions from the outside environment have a strong impact on the hive health. The majority of losses occur mainly during winter and the exact reason is not completely understood. Only a small number of studies are dealing with content of bioelements, their function and influence on honeybee physiology. The aim of the present study was to determine seasonal and spatial variations in content of bioelements and non-essential elements, in hemolymph and whole body of honeybees originating from three regions with different degrees of urbanization and industrialization. Concentrations of 16 elements were compared: macroelements (Ca, K, Mg, Na), microelements (Cu, Fe, Mn, Zn) and non-essential elements (Al, Ba, Cd, Co, Cr, Ni, Pb, Sr) in samples collected from 3 different environments: Golija (rural region), Belgrade (urban region) and Zajača (industrial region). Content of bioelements and non-essential elements in honeybees was under noticeable influence of the surrounding environment, season and degree of honeybee activity. Hemolymph was proven to be helpful in differentiating air pollution from other sources of honeybee exposure. The results of our study demonstrated that bees can be successfully used as biomonitors since we have observed statistically significant differences among observed locations, but unless compared locations are exposed to excessively different pollution pressures, it is essential that all bees should be collected at the same season.     Native American populations face considerable health disparities, especially among those who live on reservations, where access to healthcare, education, and safe housing can be limited. Previous research on tribal housing has raised concerns about housing construction, damage, and possible linkage to adverse health effects (e.g., asthma). This community-based participatory research (CBPR) project investigated indoor air quality issues on two Rocky Mountain west reservations. At the onset of the project, the research team formed a partnership with community advisory boards (CABs) consisting of representatives from tribal councils and community members. Research design, implementation, and dissemination all took place in full collaboration with the CABs following approval through official tribal resolutions. Residential homes were monitored for particulate matter with diameter <2.5 microns (PM2.5) and radon concentrations. Low-cost air quality sensors and activated charcoal radon test kits were placed in tribal households for 6-8 days. A large amount of data were below the sensor limit of quantification (LOQ), but several homes had daily averages that exceeded suggested PM2.5 guidelines, suggestive of the potential for high exposure. Additionally, nearly half of all homes sampled had radon levels above the EPA action level, with mitigation activities initiated for the most concerning homes. Findings from this study indicate the need for future community-wide assessments to determine the magnitude and patterns of indoor air quality issues.

    The paper covers presentation of ways of international cooperation of Danube region on the territory of Republic of Serbia and its spatial integration levels of the immediate and wider environment (cross-border or trans-border aspect of cooperation, transnational cooperation and interregional cooperation). Danube region is space with the most active current integration processes, which take place under the initiative of the European Union and the definition of European instruments supporting cooperation of states along the Danube River flow, as well as more specific territorial entities that are directly related to the river. In addition to European strategies and programs, the cooperation includes cross-border cooperation activities of Serbia based on resolving socio-economic problems, issues related to infrastructure, environmental protection and other areas of cooperation that include spaces Euroregional Association. The grounds for the implementation of planned measures for further Danube region development also include functional connections on regional and local level within the territory of the Republic of Serbia. Rad obuhvata prikaz vidova mađunarodne saradnje prostora Podunavlja na području Srbije i nivoe njegove prostorne integracije u neposredno i šire okruženje (prekogranični ili transgranični vid saradnje, transnacionalna saradnja i interregionalna saradnja). Podunavlje predstavlja prostor sa dosadašnjim najaktivnijim procesima integracije, koja se odvija pod inicijativom Evropske unije definisanjem evropskih instrumenata i programa koji podržavaju saradnju država kroz koje prolazi reka Dunav, kao i užih teritorijalnih celina koje su neposredno vezane za tu reku. Osim evropskih strategija i programa, saradnja obuhvata prekogranične aktivnosti Srbije koje se zasnivaju na rešavanju socio-ekonomskih problema, pitanja vezanih za infrastrukturu, zaštitu životne sredine i druge oblasti saradnje koje uključuju i prostore evroregionalnih asocijacija. Osnovu za realizaciju planskih mera daljeg razvoja Podunavlja predstavljaju i funkcionalne veze na regionalnom i lokalnom nivou unutar teritorije Republike Srbije.

    We investigate the spectro-photometric variability of quasars due to lensing of small mass substructure (from several tens to several hundreds solar masses). The aim of this paper is to explore the milli/microlensing influence on the flux anomaly observed between images of a lensed quasar in different spectral bands and possible influence of small mass structure lensing of non-macrolensed quasars.We find that spectro-photometric variability may be also caused by lensing of small mass diffuse structure and can produce the flux anomaly which is sometimes seen in different images of a lensed quasar. Additionally, we found that the lensing by small mass diffuse structure may produce significant changes in photo-center position of a quasar, and sometimes can split or deviate images of one source that can be detected as separate from the scale from 0.1 to several milliarcseconds. This can be measured ith Gaialike space astrometric missions. We point out a special case where a low redshifted deflector zd = 0.01 is lensing a high redshifted source, for which the variability in the flux and photocenter (several milliarcseconds) may be detected on a relatively short time scale.     More than half of the global population now lives in towns and cities. At the same time, transport has become the highest single energy-consuming human activity. Hence, one of the major topics today is the reduction of urban transport demand and of energy consumption in cities. In this article we focused on the whole package of instruments that can reduce energy consumption and transport demand in Belgrade, a city that is currently at a major crossroad. Belgrade can prevent a dramatic increase in energy consumption and CO2 emissions (and mitigate the negative local environmental effects of traffic congestion, traffic accidents and air pollution), only if it: 1) implements a more decisive strategy to limit private vehicles use while its level of car passenger km (PKT) is still relatively low; 2) does not try to solve its transport problems only by trying to build urban road infrastructure (bridges and ring roads); and 3) if it continues to provide priority movement for buses (a dominant form of public transport), while 4) at the same time developing urban rail systems (metro or LRT) with exclusive tracks, immune to the traffic congestion on urban streets.     Doses from the exposure to outdoor radon are typically an order of magnitude smaller than those from indoor radon, causing a greater interest on investigation of the latter for radiation protection issues. As a consequence, assessment of radon priority areas (RPA) is mainly based on indoor radon measurements. Outdoor radon measurements might be needed to guarantee a complete estimation of radiological risk and may help to improve the estimation of RPA. Therefore, authors have analysed the available literature on outdoor radon to give an overview of outdoor radon surveys and potential correlation with indoor radon and estimation of RPA. The review has shown that outdoor radon surveys were performed at much smaller scale compared to indoor radon. Only a few outdoor radon maps were produced, with a much smaller density, covering a larger area, and therefore putting doubt on the representativeness of this data. Due to a large variety of techniques used for outdoor radon measurements and requirement to have detectors with a high sensitivity and resistance to harsh environmental conditions, a standardised measurement protocol should be derived. This is no simple endeavour since there are more applications in different scientific disciplines for outdoor radon measurements compared to indoor radon.     HOLSAT instrument measures tourist satisfaction by comparing tourists' expectations and experience regarding various destination attributes. Destination image influences tourists' expectations, while experience in the destination modifies tourists' image perceptions, creating differences between pre-visit and post-visit images. Based on these relationships, which are theoretically explored in its first part, this study argues that HOLSAT may be used for destination image research. The second part of the study represents a demonstration of how HOLSAT may be used for measurement of both tourist satisfaction and destination image, whereby the research was conducted in Belgrade, a developing urban destination. The city's tourism industry and destination image were severely damaged in the 1990s, whereby they have started to slowly recover since 2000. Based on the results of the conducted survey, satisfactory and unsatisfactory destination attributes were identified, as well as positive and negative components of city's pre-visit destination image. The most important positive components are related to the destination's affordability, while the negative components are related to safety, cleanliness and the arrival station. Modifications of destination image caused by the visit were also identified. The biggest image improvement after the visit was registered in attributes related to safety and the friendliness of the local residents, while the negative modifications related to the public transport were identified as the most important ones.     Čukaru Peki is a recently discovered copper-gold deposit in the Bor metallogenic zone in east Serbia. Three types of mineralization can be distinguished in this ore deposit: porphyry, high-sulphidation, and transitional epithermal type. This research was focused on fluid inclusion analysis of genetically different veins from the porphyry and the transitional zones of Čukaru Peki with an aim of better understanding the fluid evolution and mineralization processes in this system. Seven types of veins were identified in the porphyry zone of Čukaru Peki and four of these veins contained transparent minerals which were suitable for fluid inclusion analysis. Eight types of inclusion assemblages were distinguished in these veins: type 1 – primary inclusions with homogenization temperatures above 550°C and high salinity, type 2a- scattered polyphase inclusions two salt crystals, type 2b-polyphase inclusions with two salt crystals in crystal growth zones, type 3- brine inclusions with one salt crystal in crystal growth zones, type 4- vapour-rich inclusions, type 5- primary inclusions in anhydrite, and types 6 and 7- secondary low-temperature inclusions This research suggests that saline fluids (30-40% wt.% NaCl eq.) were the most important ones for the formation of porphyry-type mineralization and that the mineralization was formed at temperatures between 350 and 450°C and pressures between 100 and 500 bars. The epithermal stage was characterized by cooler low-salinity fluids with temperatures between 150-350°C, and salinity between 0 and 7 wt.% NaCl eq.

    Mačva is a lowland area between the rivers of Drina and Sava which has mediating and centralizing role between the Dinaric mountain region and the Pannonian basin through history. In this paper the attention is given to metanastasic (staged) migratory currents and settlement of Mačva in the context of socio-historical changes and geopolitical developments from 17th to the end of the 20th century.     Honeybee colony losses have been a focus of research in the last years, due to the importance of managed honeybee colonies for economy and ecology. Different unfavorable conditions from the outside environment have a strong impact on the hive health. The majority of losses occur mainly during winter and the exact reason is not completely understood. Only a small number of studies are dealing with content of bioelements, their function and influence on honeybee physiology. The aim of the present study was to determine seasonal and spatial variations in content of bioelements and non-essential elements, in hemolymph and whole body of honeybees originating from three regions with different degrees of urbanization and industrialization. Concentrations of 16 elements were compared: macroelements (Ca, K, Mg, Na), microelements (Cu, Fe, Mn, Zn) and non-essential elements (Al, Ba, Cd, Co, Cr, Ni, Pb, Sr) in samples collected from 3 different environments: Golija (rural region), Belgrade (urban region) and Zajača (industrial region). Content of bioelements and non-essential elements in honeybees was under noticeable influence of the surrounding environment, season and degree of honeybee activity. Hemolymph was proven to be helpful in differentiating air pollution from other sources of honeybee exposure. The results of our study demonstrated that bees can be successfully used as biomonitors since we have observed statistically significant differences among observed locations, but unless compared locations are exposed to excessively different pollution pressures, it is essential that all bees should be collected at the same season.     Native American populations face considerable health disparities, especially among those who live on reservations, where access to healthcare, education, and safe housing can be limited. Previous research on tribal housing has raised concerns about housing construction, damage, and possible linkage to adverse health effects (e.g., asthma). This community-based participatory research (CBPR) project investigated indoor air quality issues on two Rocky Mountain west reservations. At the onset of the project, the research team formed a partnership with community advisory boards (CABs) consisting of representatives from tribal councils and community members. Research design, implementation, and dissemination all took place in full collaboration with the CABs following approval through official tribal resolutions. Residential homes were monitored for particulate matter with diameter <2.5 microns (PM2.5) and radon concentrations. Low-cost air quality sensors and activated charcoal radon test kits were placed in tribal households for 6-8 days. A large amount of data were below the sensor limit of quantification (LOQ), but several homes had daily averages that exceeded suggested PM2.5 guidelines, suggestive of the potential for high exposure. Additionally, nearly half of all homes sampled had radon levels above the EPA action level, with mitigation activities initiated for the most concerning homes. Findings from this study indicate the need for future community-wide assessments to determine the magnitude and patterns of indoor air quality issues.

    The paper covers presentation of ways of international cooperation of Danube region on the territory of Republic of Serbia and its spatial integration levels of the immediate and wider environment (cross-border or trans-border aspect of cooperation, transnational cooperation and interregional cooperation). Danube region is space with the most active current integration processes, which take place under the initiative of the European Union and the definition of European instruments supporting cooperation of states along the Danube River flow, as well as more specific territorial entities that are directly related to the river. In addition to European strategies and programs, the cooperation includes cross-border cooperation activities of Serbia based on resolving socio-economic problems, issues related to infrastructure, environmental protection and other areas of cooperation that include spaces Euroregional Association. The grounds for the implementation of planned measures for further Danube region development also include functional connections on regional and local level within the territory of the Republic of Serbia. Rad obuhvata prikaz vidova mađunarodne saradnje prostora Podunavlja na području Srbije i nivoe njegove prostorne integracije u neposredno i šire okruženje (prekogranični ili transgranični vid saradnje, transnacionalna saradnja i interregionalna saradnja). Podunavlje predstavlja prostor sa dosadašnjim najaktivnijim procesima integracije, koja se odvija pod inicijativom Evropske unije definisanjem evropskih instrumenata i programa koji podržavaju saradnju država kroz koje prolazi reka Dunav, kao i užih teritorijalnih celina koje su neposredno vezane za tu reku. Osim evropskih strategija i programa, saradnja obuhvata prekogranične aktivnosti Srbije koje se zasnivaju na rešavanju socio-ekonomskih problema, pitanja vezanih za infrastrukturu, zaštitu životne sredine i druge oblasti saradnje koje uključuju i prostore evroregionalnih asocijacija.
