    Marine polychaete worms living in different beds from coastal areas, so different cultures can be different effects on their development. The evaluation of this research initially, marine polychaete worms were collected in low tidal sea areas from Gulf Persian coast in Bushehr. During several stages of sampling do more than 2000 pieces of worm were taken and then transferred to Bandarga Shrimp Research Station (Iran Shrimp Research Center). So based on a observation the desired species identification (Perinereis nuntia). Then 400 pieces worm selected and transferred to tanks maintain immature worm (fiberglass tanks with dimensions of 2 × 2 × 0.5 m with 15 cm sand on floor). The results showed that even the worms (P. nuntia) in vitro reached sexual maturity able to spawn in captivity conditions and were absolute fecundity of 16010 ± 17630 eggs. After incubation eggs, larval culture into the plastic tank with 70 cm diameter, larval (1.5 to 2 mm) were introduced with density 2000 (pieces/m2). In this research used to three different beds ( tidal , filled with water all of time and wet bed ) with three different food types (food shrimp, seaweed and vegetable waste), so there were 9 experimental treatments. All experimental treatments harvested and estimate production in each of them after 270 days. The seaweed tidal treatment with amount of 21.17 g/m2 had best results and the all of wet treatments with 0 g/m2 was the lowest production. Compare of beds showed that the tidal treatments have significant difference with other beds in growth factors (e.g. mean weight, survival percentage and total production) (P0.05).     Authors: M. Sayad borani;

    Abramis brama orientalis is a valuable fish species in the Caspian Sea. Its stock after has been faced with pronounced depletion since 1941. The release of millions of its fry have not been successful to restore its stock. A slim fluctuation were observed in its natural stocks during last seven years in the Iranian coastal areas. In comparison to 1992-1993, catch showed a 4.4 tons increment in 1998-99. No pronounced increase was observed considering release of 70.46 million fry during mentioned period. Young and immature fish provide main part of the catch while mature individuals provided a small part of it during 1978-1979. For most rate of catch comprised by young and immature fish and the number of brood-stock fish were very small amount in the catch as in the year of 1998-1999, 20.3% of catch formed by one year old fish and 37.3% by two years old. The average length, weight and age of bream in the years of 1998-99 calculated 22.5cm, 212.2gr and 2.4 years respectively. The depletion of the stock could be attributed to the following important cases, such as non-rational catch practicing, environmental, pollution, destruction of natural spawning grounds, the existence of predatory fish for example Pike and Sheatfish in fries unloading site, and lack of necessary arrangement relevant to artificial spawning. The rate of recruitment of Bream to fisheries calculated 4.6% in 1991 and 2.7% in 1992.

    Authors: F. Laloei;

    This study was performed in Neka Power Plant during one year and started in March 1991, to survey on the effect of Neka Power Plant on the environment and the possibility of fish Farming by use of outlet water. For this purpose the water sampling has been done each month for chemical analysis. The primary sampling and survey showed that the outlet water contained human and industrial Sewages. The difference between water temperature in outlet water and the Caspian Sea was 1OºC and the amount of free chloride in outlet water varied between 0 and 6.8 mg/lit and 300 kg ferrous sulphate was daily injected into water per unit or Power Plant. The plankton and benthos organism were identified at the determined stations, which their abundance is different from other spots of the sea. The mortality ratio of fishes were estimated which was caused by chloride injection into water, the difference in water temperature and pressure increasing. The average fish mortality was estimated 96 units, in one hour for each unit of Power Plant. The dead fishes were mainly in small size of different species. The results of this study indicate that the fish culture in the outlet canal and around the outlet water in sea accompanied a lot of difficulties and need more surveys in the future.

    Iran is one of ten disaster countries in terms of water crisis. Also, deficit of agricultural soil is a limiting agent for development of agronomy. Moreover, production of organic crops is very important for health nutrition. Tilapia is an important commercial fish because of its fast growth, tolerance to environmental conditions and diseases, possibility of intensive culture, low costs of production and marketable flavor. Production of aquatic and agricultural crops in an aquaponic system would ask these expectations. Aquaponic system that includes combination of hydroponics and water recycling systems was examined for modulated culture of tilapia and agricultural crops at the present study. Tilapia fries with 6.2g and 5.9g mean weight and stocking density of 40/m^3 were respectively stocked in two 2.5m^3 tanks at September 2013 for 9 months. Fish culture in the two tanks tended to 17.2kg/m^3 and 19kg/m^3 fish production with 658g and 596 mean final weigth, 98% and 100% survival and 1.4 and 1.6 food conversion rate (FCR), respectively. Plants were implanted using grow beds, floating rafts and nutrient film methods. Monthly production of mint, basil, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, pepper were 1.14, 0.5-0.8, 1.32, 2.7-4, 2.03-3.4 and 1.1 kg/m^2 crops, respectively.

    The objectives of the present investigation were to study the bioaccumulation of Aldrin, Diazinon and Endrin pesticides in the edible muscle tissues of Tinca tinca, Rutilus frisii kutum, Carassius auratus, Cyprinus carpio, Silurus glanis and Esox lucius that were caught at various stations in the west, east and center of the Anzali Wetland and to compare the results with the standards of the World Health Organization (WHO). The concentration of organochlorine pesticide was determined using Gas Chromatography (GC) equipped with an electron capture detector. The concentration of organophosphorus pesticide was determined using Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS). The highest concentration of Diazinon was detected in Esox lucius from the wetland east station (20.25 ppb). Significant differences were not observed in the amounts of Diazinon and Aldrin pesticides in the muscles of fish samples in various stations (P>0/05). The highest amounts of Endrin were observed in the muscle of Cyprinus carpio from the wetland east and west stations which were significantly different compared to that of other fish species (P<0/05). The amount of Aldrin in the Carassius auratus was significantly different compared to that of other fish species (P<0/05). According to the results, the amounts of Aldrin, Diazinon and Endrin were lower than the detection limits of the WHO standards. Therefore, consumers are not at risk from the point of view of food safety.

    Tish survey prolonged from summer 2011 trough summer 2012. During this period 574 samples of different fish species were investigated for their parasites. Totally 30 species of parasites isolated of the fishes. Some of the isolated parasites are recorded for the first time in Iran. Rafidascaris acus Orientocreadium siluri, Silurotaenia siluri, Acanthocephalus lucii , Argulus foliaceus has recorded for the first time from European catfish, Silurus glanis, and Dactylogyrus inexpectatus has recorded for the first time from Gibel Carp, Carassius auratus gibelio, in Anzali wetland. Statistical comparison of parasites infections and intensity between the different area of Anzali wetland were done. Infection of Pike, Esox lucius, to Diplostomum spathaceum, Raphidascaris acus and Monogenean in western parts of wetland were significantly different from the Eastern and Central areas (p<0.05). So based on the data have concluded the eastern and central regions of the wetland are more polluted than the western part. Comparing the results of the present study with before ones showed that the composition of parasite species has been changed over time, while the prevalence, intensity and abundance of parasites have been increased. It may be due to changing environmental conditions such as increasing discharge of effluent, eutrophication of the wetland. This results accents to necessity of reconstruction of Anzali wetland with preference of eastern and central regions.

    This study was carried out in three farmed rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) of Guilan Province. Heavy metals (Iron and Lead) were measured using Atomic absorption spectrometry in food, water and fish muscles of farms. The amounts of Iron and Lead (Mean ±SD) in all water samples from studied farms were 55.29±2.71 and 2.066±0.714 µg/L, respectively. The amounts of Iron and Lead (Mean± SD) in consumed feed of studied farms were 494.51± 89.18 and 3.494± 1.462 mg/kg, respectively. Also, the amounts of Iron and lead in fish muscle of studied farms were measured as 7.715± 1.050 and 0.39970± 0.073 mg/kg, respectively. The obtained results revealed the existence of higher amounts of iron in fish muscle above Codex standard, 2001 and lower amounts of lead levels from the mentioned standard in studied farms. The obtained data showed no significant differences in water, food and muscle of fish in studied areas (p>0.05).

    Marine polychaete worms living in different beds from coastal areas, so different cultures can be different effects on their development. The evaluation of this research initially, marine polychaete worms were collected in low tidal sea areas from Gulf Persian coast in Bushehr. During several stages of sampling do more than 2000 pieces of worm were taken and then transferred to Bandarga Shrimp Research Station (Iran Shrimp Research Center). So based on a observation the desired species identification (Perinereis nuntia). Then 400 pieces worm selected and transferred to tanks maintain immature worm (fiberglass tanks with dimensions of 2 × 2 × 0.5 m with 15 cm sand on floor). The results showed that even the worms (P. nuntia) in vitro reached sexual maturity able to spawn in captivity conditions and were absolute fecundity of 16010 ± 17630 eggs. After incubation eggs, larval culture into the plastic tank with 70 cm diameter, larval (1.5 to 2 mm) were introduced with density 2000 (pieces/m2). In this research used to three different beds ( tidal , filled with water all of time and wet bed ) with three different food types (food shrimp, seaweed and vegetable waste), so there were 9 experimental treatments. All experimental treatments harvested and estimate production in each of them after 270 days. The seaweed tidal treatment with amount of 21.17 g/m2 had best results and the all of wet treatments with 0 g/m2 was the lowest production. Compare of beds showed that the tidal treatments have significant difference with other beds in growth factors (e.g. mean weight, survival percentage and total production) (P0.05).     Authors: M. Sayad borani;

    Authors: F. Laloei;

    Authors: Seifzadeh, M.; Valipour, A.R.; Zarehgashti, Gh.; Khanipour, A.A.;
