In the context of the increasing of the over 65 aged pupulation in Europe (+2,6% in EU28 from 2008 to 2018), and in the provision it could grow up, it is urgent to maintanin active and connected to the society the old people, to avoid they could became a social cost. In the COVID-19 emergency we realized how they're fragile, need to be autonomous and maintain their health, but can be a treasure to be preserved. The idea of participation, mobility and exchange is one of the key success of the Erasmus+ Programme, which get the best achievements in Europe involving 853.000 people in 2018. The Brexit results on 2016 revealed the short circuit among generations, inviting to face the gap on the mindset on Eu values between young people and seniors. The partners – learning and innovation centres, cultural body from IT, CZ, SE, CY – will reinforce the tested practices by Erasmus+ projects on educational services to seniors and increase their capacity to operate at transnational level widening the programme opportunities to over 65. The project aims to contribute to promote the Erasmus+ among seniors, by educational and exchanges activities related to EU identity funding values and by transmetting them to young people to build new citizens. Over 65 will test the programme becoming active, and having a new role in society as memory keepers on the values built through our common history (such as democracy, participation, solidarity, multiculturalism, cooperation, open space without barriers, etc). They will convey this big heritage to the new generations, being helped by them on their participation to Erasmus+.The objectives are: - increasing the old people participation to society, making them more active- widening the Erasmus+ programme popularity to different aged bands- favouring a double direction exchange: from seniors to young people and from young people to seniors- reinforce the social, civic and cultural roots of the EU- encouraging the civic engagement and social responsibility of young people. The participants in IT,CZ,SE,CY are:a) 440 seniors over 65 members of non-vocational adult education organisations and learners in non-vocational adult education b) 216 young people from 13 to 30s, staff and members of organisations active in the youth field, school classes of the upper seconday/thertiary levelc) 20 trainers/educators in the parners's staff. They will be involved in the activities:20 trainers/educators in 4 3days Eu workshops200 seniors in the awareness activities100 seniors in the 4 local focus groups16 young people as Erasmus+ ambassadors (participating to Erasmus+ programme) in the focus groups with seniors 40 seniors in 5days of mobility and in 4 EU focus groups to exchange experiences/practices100 seniors in local dissemination seminars on the Eu experience200 young people in min.4 local dissemination workshops. The over 65 will be motivated to transfer to young people the EU and civic values and will be involved in focus groups on social, civic, cultural and historical heritage. The preparation will be carried on by 4 focus groups among seniors in each country on specific topics. After that the seniors during the mobility will have direct knowledge of the topics in other countries, and will exchange the results in international focus groups with other seniors. The focus groups results will be introduced to young people both in class groups and in centres/youth associations, in order to spread the EU values and to educate the new generations to build the new EU citizens’ identity. Expected results during the project life in IT,CZ, SE, CY are:- 20 educators trained on methodology, services to seniors/young people- 200 seniors reached by the awareness raising activities - 100 over 65 involved in the focus groups at local level - 40 over 65 participating to the LTTA and to the EU focus groups - 8 practices pointed out on Eu values following the milestones- 100 seniors involved in the dissemination seminars- 200 young people partecipating to the dissemination workshops - 4 organization/association hosting the project's initiatives within their events- 4 associations/school classes/organizations adopting the kit of common practicesImpact on seniors will be in terms of: increased participation to society and quality of life, renewed in their role of memory keepers, motivated and trained to convey the heritage to the next generations, included in the building of the future EU society; and on young people in terms of: increased civic behaviours and social engagement, knowledge of their country's heritage and Eu main values. The iHERE project- Digital HEalth liteRacy Education for vulnerable groups - derives from the premises as set generally in a) the European Parliament reports and recommendations on the importance of providing healthcare to vulnerable groups, as health professionals report difficulties in communicating effectively with these populations about risk-taking behaviors and barriers to accessing information, b) the 'eHealth Action Plan 2012-2020' which identifies the lack of awareness of eHealth opportunities as one of the barriers to a wider uptake of eHealth solutions and, proposes activities support aiming at increasing citizens’ digital health literacy; what is important here is that ICT for health and wellbeing is becoming increasingly important to deliver top-quality care to all citizens currently living in EU.The project includes 8 partners (EhB, PROLEPSIS, RESET, UVEG, AKADEMIE KLAUSENHOF, TUCEP, XPCSA, CSI) from 6 European countries (Belgium, Germany, Spain, Italy, Greece, Cyprus) and it targets disadvantaged and vulnerable social groups, such as immigrants & refugees, poor health and low income people, jobless and marginalized social groups under the risk of exclusion and/or experiencing poverty. These groups often face particular health challenges due to their lower socioeconomic status and lack of adequate social support, they are vulnerable to a number of threats to their physical and mental health, experiencing additional barriers such as the structure of the overall health care system, underdeveloped health literacy, absence or limitation of learning opportunities; their specific health needs are poorly understood, communication with health care providers remains poor, health systems are not prepared to respond adequately, access in health and other basic services is hard. Additionally, apart from legal restrictions on entitlements to health care, they may be particularly affected by user fees, as well as by impeded access to health insurance. In this context, the project addresses the objectives: a) to promote inclusive training by addressing diversity and reducing disparities for learners with disadvantaged backgrounds, through innovative integrated approach, b) to digitize the quality learning content and use ICT as a driver for systemic change to increase the quality and relevance of health care training of vulnerable groups; give access to education and digital training tools to those facing particular vulnerability due to educational, economic, cultural and social obstacles, c) to empower adult educators and particularly educators in the relative fields with innovative training tools and resources (such as curriculum, digital tools, methodological guidelines) concerning the adult education, the Health Literacy and Care, the vulnerable populations training and inclusive practices as well, d) to design and implement outputs and project products for the vulnerable groups concerning their training to face the challenges of Health Care and Literacy, the potential or/and existing barriers arising from the low level of health information, knowledge, practical access in health resources (human, institutions, etc), the health threats, e) to create and form tailored needs toolboxes/resources regarding the diversity and the synthesis of the participants profile, f) to establish the necessary context for a shift in the way the vulnerable groups should be addressed for their effective Health Care and Literacy, g) to provide the essential context in EU, for health promotion, health care & prosperity, wellbeing attitudes, EU security in health systems delivery. The activities include respective intellectual outputs, training/learning activities and multipliers events (National Seminars/Workshops, Final Conference) and the iHERE IOs comprise of the Curriculum and Resources Toolbox, the Digital Context and Components, the Methodological Framework Guidelines. The participants are adult trainers and lifelong educators, training centers leaders, health sector members, public bodies – social affairs representatives, public servants, policy makers, community leaders, community members, NGOs leaders, representatives, associations and organizations with the focus on the marginalized groups and mainly disadvantaged individuals experiencing poverty and/or inclusion, individuals belonging in the vulnerable social groups as the end-users. Last, concerning the overall local, regional, national & EU impact, it is expected that the eHealth empowerment of the vulnerable social groups will lead to a positive change and quality in their life and health conditions, to practical non-discrimination and inclusive strategies with good health factors and wellbeing; the project also sets the essential context in EU, for health promotion, health care & prosperity attitudes, EU security in health systems delivery.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly employed by businesses, governments, and other organizations to make decisions with far-reaching impacts on individuals and society. This offers big opportunities for automation in different sectors and daily life, but at the same time it brings risks for discrimination of minority and marginal population groups on the basis of the so-called protected attributes, like gender, race, and age. Despite the large body of research to date, the proposed methods work in limited settings, under very constrained assumptions, and do not reflect the complexity and requirements of real world applications. To this end, the MAMMOth project focuses on multi-discrimination mitigation for tabular, network and multimodal data. Through its computer science and AI experts, MAMMOth aims at addressing the associated scientific challenges by developing an innovative fairness-aware AI-data driven foundation that provides the necessary tools and techniques for the discovery and mitigation of (multi-)discrimination and ensures the accountability of AI-systems with respect to multiple protected attributes and for traditional tabular data and more complex network and visual data. The project will actively engage with numerous communities of vulnerable and/or underrepresented groups in AI research right from the start, adopting a co-creation approach, to make sure that actual user needs and pains are at the centre of the research agenda and act as guidance to the project’s activities. A social science-driven approach supported by social science and ethics experts will guide project research, and a science communication approach will increase the outreach of the outcomes. The project aims to demonstrate through pilots the developed solutions into three relevant sectors of interest: a) finance/loan applications, b) identity verification systems, and c) academic evaluation.
