Erasmus students, young people in the beginning of their career, free movers, daily workers or unemployed people can not afford to eat qualitaly each day. Lots of them end up eating fast food or semi-prepared products, often of poor quality. General longer term objective The project aims to promote healthy cooking patterns of easy but quality recipes to push people to make and create their own healthy meals instead of going to fast food chains or buying semi-prepared food. Specific objective of the projectThe project’s objective is to set up a collaborative multi platform interactive tool (web interface followed by the interactive applications for touch screen devices and a printable eBook edition) presenting recipes adapted to the identified needs. With the multi-platform project we intend to show an alternative way to improve quality of people's lives, reduce dependence on the consumption system and make them active and self-sufficient for their own life and their own health.ActivitiesThe collaborative work process is focussed on compilation of food research, development of healthy life patterns and recipes collection, as well as on media creation, creativity, innovation and strategic use of information technologies. In collaboration with young professionals, structures and a designed community we will research and establish the principal criteria for the choice of recipes, such as the easiness (time limit, dish limit, material limit, storage), affordability (price) of finished meal, limited number of ingredients, nutritious quality and learning process (some competence or basic cooking skills for future experimentation should be given). Based on similar criteria we will look for and collect recipes, which will have to be verified afterwards. We design a research summary that will serve also as an introduction about alimentary systems, about food and its importance. During the program, a series of cooking workshops will be held for local target groups in the partner countries. During the Transnational Project Meetings all partners will test the recipes in practice and will document all activities. A final manifesto including informations on how to organize similar local events, how to work and involve people will be published on our website. The dissemination of our project will start with the creation of a web interface with an interactive collection of recipes and food-related information. During the whole process we will discuss all issues and consider feedback from the community in order to produce a tool responding directly to our target group's needs. A management community and its rules, including technical aspects, will be set up at the final stage of the project.Sustainability of the projectThe project's sustainability will be assured by the active collaborative community around the project and by the renewal of users, based on a sustainable crowd sourcing model. The aim is to guarantee an autonomous and independent e-community which will contribute to the project's continuity and future development. With the sustainable crowd sourcing model and a sustainable and self-powered tool management, the project community will have a constant renewal of users and continuous promotion.Partnership“Veni Vidi Comedi : The Cooking Europe Project” is a project undertaken, set up and carried out by young people. While human interaction has been seriously wounded under these critical circumstances, EU values for social cohesion, inclusion, intercultural dialogue, community engagement, understanding of the “other” and tolerance, all of them conveyed by arts and culture, are into a great challenge. The project READ-IN-CLUB: READ-INg for CuLtUres across Borders – includes 6 partners (CulturePolis, Hellenic Foundation for Culture, iTSTudy, Slovene Writers’Association, Srsen Ivan - Sandorf Publishing and iED) from 5 different countries (Greece, Hungary, Slovene, Croatia and Cyprus) and derives from the need to equip our society with those skills and competences which are essential to ensuring a swift and smooth recovery from the crisis. In READ-IN-CLUB, the art of literature and the institution of book clubs and reading communities, together with the power of digital technology, comprise powerful facilitators of informal learning and dialogue and create a supportive cultural environment where people are encouraged to become innovators and effective lifelong learners. In this context, READ-IN-CLUB targets professionals of the book industry who organize and coordinate the operation of reading clubs or other educational activities related to literature: writers, authors, translators, directors and representatives of private and public libraries, moderators of reading clubs/book clubs, managers of publishing houses and literary organizations, publishers, editors; its objectives are to: a)Develop a cross-sectoral approach for cooperation - established in the EU values which are generated and conveyed by the art of literature. b)Address the challenge of ingraining the educational aspect of reading clubs for social inclusion and intercultural dialogue in the “digital, post- COVID agenda” of the book industry stakeholders. c)Qualify reading clubs coordinators through enhancing their training skills and digital competences and rendering them “Lit.Mentors” of intercultural dialogue. d)Develop and deliver a digital reading club platform, innovative training materials and content methodologies for successfully meeting the needs of reading clubs coordinators and their communities and empower them at all levels. The activities include the production of the following intellectual outputs; READ-IN-CLUB Research Report (IO1), the Virtual Training Seminars for «Lit.Mentors» (IO2), the #Read-IN-ClubDigital (IO3),and the READ-IN-CLUB e-Manual (IO4).
