In this way, iREFLECT! aims to enhance the professionalisation of teachers and trainee teachers by expanding their reflective competence based on their own practice.<< Implementation >>In the project, 5 learning activities will be carried out on site at the project partners, which includes both on-site learning (job shadowing and expert interviews) and joint work on the project content. Between the meetings on site, monthly virtual reflection loops are planned for further work and feedback of testing experiences from the networks. Each partner conducts at least 2 multiplier events in their networks.<< Results >>The iREFLECT! project will offer a compilation of the didactically processed contents and methods for reflective practice in all phases of teacher education. This includes a ToolKit with handouts and a set of cards in which all reflective methods and content are translated into the project languages and English. For accessibility, all contents and methods are additionally visualised.

The potential of S-L for a structured acquisition of democratic competences is under-developed in secondary school education in Europe.The goal of this partnership is to unlock the potential of S-L for the systematic acquisition of democratic competences. To this end, it aims at supporting teachers with pedagogical material, on-site and online trainings and opportunities to exchange experiences.<< Implementation >>SLEAD EUROPE will carry out•country analyses on the application of democratic competences frameworks in the participating countries and how S-L can be linked to it (WP2)•development of a concept for a transnational training program and corresponding pedagogical material that supports teachers in implementing high-quality S-L projects (WP3)•implementation of an online training program and a summer school (WP4)•dissemination, community building and a European contest on S-L (WP5)<< Results >>SLEAD EUROPE will achieve: •5 country-specific analyses on how the acquisition of democratic competences through S-L can be linked to national curricula•A transferable training concept and pedagogical material on how to use S-L for the acquisition of democratic competences•More than 100 trained teachers who will be ready to implement high-quality SL projects•An online based community of practice and a central platform to share project material and opportunities to network

This project aims to understand the concept of S-L and prepare involved partners to implement S-L in their settings. The objectives are to • Understand the concept of S-L • Learn from best practices • Organize S-L trainings and information days• Network on European and local level • Provide training to teachers, students, local civic engagement partners • Support teachers/students to develop ideas for S-L<< Implementation >>The project will organize 5 Events (1 Study Visit & 4 S-L Days), consisting of: a)1 Study Visit and 4 Trainings of educators and social workers on how to implement S-L b)4 information days, informing about S-L and network with participants from outside the project. c)Presentation of good practices The results of the events and the best practices will be published in an e-book, along with guidelines for schools on how to create and integrate S-L as part of the formal school education.<< Results >>Educators and social workers of schools and NGOs will be introduced to an innovative teaching method to be used in local contexts, supporting the integration of social engagement into formal and/or informal learning. Good practices, successful examples and training will lead educators and the wider public to overcome hesitations and be more willing to implement S-L as a practice. Partners will form new partnerships, leading to S-L activities and further common EU projects.
