More than 50 youth workers from all the partner countries were involved in the activities of the project both through the participation in the transnational training events and through their participation in the e-learning course developed. The main emphasis was given to the youth workers from the Partner Countries (Cape Verde and Ghana). 50 youth workers participated from each of the Partner Countries (30 youth workers through the participation in the transnational training events and 20 youth workers through the participation in the e-learning course). These youth workers are then going to implement practically the knowledge obtained through their participation in the training events with their activities with the young people. It is expected that at least 300 young people are going to benefit indirectly from the activities of the project through their youth workers. The project, in order to achieve its objectives, also involved significant multipliers and stakeholders from the tourism sector. The consortium of the project is multi-actor, it has a great experience in the field and it has complementary competencies. It is constituted from 6 partners from 5 countries (Greece, Spain, Romania, Cape Verde and Ghana). The partners from the Partner Countries (Cape Verde and Ghana) are youth organisations that are willing to build their capacity to support youth exchanges and also to support the youth in their local community. The European partners include organisations experts in entrepreneurial related training, experts in youth exchanges, experts in e-learning courses and experts in the field of tourism. The transnational seminar was organised in Athens Greece (July 2015) and the two capacity building training courses were organised Cape Verde (January 2016) and Ghana (September 2016). The last training tool in Ghana was combined with a final conference and a docufilm was produced available here: https://youtu.be/AkaPW_uXfDQ. The organisation of the project's e-learning tool will increase significantly both the time that a youth worker could dedicate in the training course and the number of people that will be able to attend the it. The content of the tool is divided in six chapters: Learning on Tourism, Gastronomic Tourism, Cultural and Art Tourism, Experiential Tourism, Communication and Marketing, Policy and legal issues regarding Tourism. The e-learning platform is available here: http://www.actione-learn.eu/t-bridges/frontpage/index.php/en/.

In addition, integration policy must not overlook people with a migrant background who have been living in Austria for some time already.” (Dr. Pabel, Chairwoman of the Expert Council for Integration in AT, ÖIF Report 2020).An integration process can be a personal burden for a newcomer or minority member. At the same time, weakly integrated immigrants can represent a significant social and economic burden for a society. Research has shown that -for migrants themselves- slow or ineffective integration often causes an experience of hopelessness and frustration, leading to mental illness, unemployment and further problems. In society, these negative processes can lead to prejudice, discrimination and xenophobia. In Norway, Austria and Greece, i.e. the partner countries of the MiMi - Migrants' microintegration into work and social life - project, many organisations and government agencies are working on different aspects of the integration process. They often lack, however, actual consideration of migrants' concrete life situation and real concerns (micro level) and, at the same time, do not consider integration as a ""two way process"", i.e. a give and take of both, migrants and the members of society individuals move into.In Norway, there is an official agreement and policy that successful integration of migrants is determined by people`s personal surroundings, i.e. labour and community integration: The Norwegian Ministry of Education declared in its 2019-2022 integration strategy “Integration through knowledge” that one of the government's main projects is to implement an integration lift. The goal is that immigrants should participate more actively in working and social life. All who are living in Norway must be part of our community. The main objective of the integration strategy is that more immigrants get out into work, so that they can support themselves and their families. (Regjeringens integreringsstrategi)Greece has faced enormous migration waves since 2015, with flows continuing (UNHCR, 2020). The 2019 integration strategy identifies the promotion of integration into education, labour market and access to public services as important components for immigrants’ integration (EUROPEAN WEBSITE ON INTEGRATION, 2020). The Austrian government has initiated refugees’/ asylum title holders’ integration into the education system, providing a variety of training possibilities.A crucial aspect about integrating well into society is entering the labour market (in official jobs), necessary for staying in Austria. And, it is particularly Afghani, Syrians, Iraqi showing the lowest labour force participation (employment rate 2018:36% vs 7.7% overall unemployment Statistik Austria/ 4.9% acc. to ILO). Still, “it is necessary to further intensify efforts to integrate migrants. A decrease in the number of asylum applications does not mean a decrease in the number of migrants to be integrated. The economic and cultural integration of people who have recently migrated is a process that is currently taking place intensively, but it is far from completed.” (ÖIF , 2020).MiMi will offer practical solutions and material for daily work with migrants following the aim of particularly improving their personal integration in work and social life. During its implementation stage, the project will actively involve min. 150 facilitators (and reach 500), as well as involve 150 final migrant beneficiaries (and reach min 500 by exploitation). By dissemination, an overall number of 5000 individuals will be reached.O1 - Migrants' Micro-integration into work life – a practice set for recipient labour representatives offers new details on micro-integration which they (e.g. teachers, coaches, but also HR counsellors/ managers at companies) could use for better supporting the integration process. O2 provides “work and social life - mind-changers” learning material to them, aiming at a change in their stereotype way of thinking about/ behaviour towards migrant populations. In total, the project outcomes can nurture migrants' equity, social inclusion, help better address migrants' issues. The target group for this are ""recipient labour representatives "". Final beneficiaries are migrants (but also the society in general) with better social inclusion, higher numbers in labour market inclusion and lower social benefit needs.Doing this in the present partnership shall foster transferability of outputs to other countries in Europe: from south (e.g. ES, IT) being also major “entrance” points into the EU to central and north (e.g. NO, SE) as preferred destinations."

Human Rights Youth Organization,BIDERBOST BOSCAN & ROCHIN SLFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2017-1-ES02-KA205-009151Funder Contribution: 20,670 EUR"The ""Good practice exchange on European migration policies for the inclusion of young migrants and refugees” (European Migration Policies) project is an exchange of best practices between entities of Greece, Italy and Spain on migratory policies regarding the inclusion of young migrants and refugees. The main objectives of the project were to generate inputs on: (1) know hows, mindset and knowledge on migration policies (in general) on the inclusion of young migrants and refugees (in particular); (2) competencies, methodologies and action frameworks (regarding design, implementation and assessment policies) to successfully respond to the needs of young migrants and refugees; (3) mechanisms and tools to empower young migrants and refugees so they can become active socio-political actors in their communities; and (5) communication strategies (especially regarding visibility, dissemination and impact) to raise awareness of the positive aspects of both migration policies and young migrants and refugees. To this end, the partner entities hold virtual transnational meetings where they were able to analyse, share and exchange knowledge, skills, experiences, mechanisms, resources and strategies on 12 migratory policies regarding the inclusion of young migrants and refugees. In this sense, all the results of the exchange of good practices were systematised in the “European Migration Policies Handbook”. This handbook was disseminated through the official website of the project, ISSUU, social networks and multiplier events with political, educational, social and labour agents. Finally, it is expected that this project has not only contributed to generate inputs on European Migration Policies (in general) in terms of the inclusion of young migrants and refugees (in particular). But also that these inputs can be used by political, educational, social and labour agents (at local, regional, national and European level), so that they can also successfully design, implement and evaluate their own migration policies on the inclusion of young migrants and refugees in Europe."

Since it is very hard for them to find an employment, a valid alternative would be to turn in self-employment and entrepreneurship. However, existing entrepreneurship training and support programmes usually do not take into consideration their needs which are specific and different from those of young people without disability. STARTUP project aims to empower young people with disabilities to start their own enterprise and support them to overcome all the obstacles that exist both practical and psychological. In the same time, the project aims to empower youth workers to support them in this process. In order to achieve these objectives, the project is going to organise three capacity building courses with many activities, discussions and a mentoring program in order to support the youth workers in the specific field. The project will also build bridges between youth workers and successful entrepreneurs, who are going to share their experiences, best practices, and their guidance, with the aim this project to be the stepping stone for a future where they can drive their own lives. Furthermore, the project is going to develop an online portal related with young entrepreneurs with disabilities with the aim to create a reference point for the whole sector. It is also going to develop an e-learning course and open educational resources in order to reach young people that because of their disability are not going to be able to participate in the presential activities. Young entrepreneurs with disabilities and innovative ideas are going to be supported through mentoring in an individual basis or in a group. E-youth work is going also to be piloted in order to support these activities. The project is going to be implemented by a consortium comprised of 5 organisations, representing 4 countries from 3 continents (Greece, UK, Japan, Chile) that face similar issues related with the entrepreneurship of young people with disabilities. The organisations are experts in the promotion of entrepreneurship (generally) and the entrepreneurship of young people with disabilities (more specifically) , online and youth work.It is expected that at least 60 youth workers and 100 young people with disabilities will be involved in the project activities. At the end of the project, it is expected that more young people with disabilities will be involved in entrepreneurial activities which will be more successful because of the provision of more adequate support.
