The OPT-IN project has the overall objective of developing a transnational and intercultural culture in the countries of the Andean Community (CAN) to strengthen policy integration between the Andean countries and between Europe and CAN with enphasis on peace and nature defence.This objective will be accomplished by means of an innovative academic program in social, political and legal sciences in Latin American Universities partners.Therefore, the project has the following objectives:- Build a professional profile of transnational and intercultural operator (OPT-IN) with comparative, multidisciplinary and cross-cultural skills that still does not exist in LLM Latin American programs.- Activate an innovative Master, with a new teaching methodology and the study of subjects not included organically in the currently instituted Masters. This new proposal aims to enrich the LLM proposals and positively impact on career opportunities for students within the context of Latin American integration and international EU-CAN relations.The main results of the project are:- Awareness by the student, academic and stakeholders communities on the importance of the inclusion of a postgraduate program, specifically oriented to the profile OPT-IN- knowledge of comparative legal methodology and new subjects (Comparative Law, EU law, transnational law, among others) by the trainees- 3 training Schools in Europe organized and 12 professors trained- Various teaching materials published- 2 pilots courses organized and at least 20 students each trained- Master OPT-IN included in university LLM courses and accredited by the Ministry- The establishment of research groups on the topics of the Master- The implementation of a data base for teaching and researching in the subjects of the Master- The creation of a Network of interest in the OPT-IN project (READY TO OPT-IN) - Two events organized to promote the project, the first to create the network, the second to launch the Master

"The project presented pretends to create a Regional Observatory for Quality and Equity in Higher Education in Latin America (ORACLE). The project is based on the assumption that there is no possible quality without equity. For it, the project involves the participation of 35 universities from 15 countries from Latin America and 5 European countries. It will be developed for 36 months from 2016 to 2019.ORACLE is an innovative project although it seeks to give continuity and sustainability to 4 ALFA.3 projects supported by the EU. In order to achieve an optimal function of the Observatory, previously, it is going to be built a Quality and Equity Unit (UCE) in each one of the 30 universities that participate in the project. These UCE's will propose and design actions, policies and strategies of institutional quality assurance and equity. Likewise, these institutional units will operate in a reticulated way and they will be the starter point and the main emphasis of ORACLE. The creation of new structures will encourage the Organizational Development of the Higher Education institutions of ""la Región"".The groups in vulnerable situation that ORACLE's Observatory is focused on are a total of eight: indigenous people, women, people with disabilities, non- traditional students, population with very low HDI, immigrants, ethnic minority groups and citizens from rural areas. ORACLE aims to provide an integral and integrated service and, unlike other initiatives, it is not exclusively circumscribed on the academic development of the students, but it will also work with people in vulnerable situations among all levels (professors, students, administrative staff and managers) and all institutional functions: teaching, research and management."

The REMOVE project aims to the general objective of developing an intercultural and inclusive educational offer concerning human mobility, through a didactic methodology shared among the Universities of the member countries, encouraging the creation of a common legal framework within the CAN, for the promotion and protection of the rights of migrants.The project has the following specific objectives:• build a specific professional operator profile in the context of migration, endowed with comparative, multidisciplinary and intercultural skills;• Activate innovative academic programs in order to modernize and internationalize the postgraduate educational offer and respond to the migratory emergency of the Region;• create a common theoretical framework, in order to share responses on human mobility among CAN countries.The planned methodology consists in: realizing a preparatory study on the labor market situation and the existing educational offer; high training of Latin American lecturers and professors during training schools in Europe; common creation of the new educational curricula; conducting a pilot course; accreditation and activation of the corresponding courses.The main results of the project will be:- the awareness of students, academics and stakeholders about the importance of an intercultural, inclusive and common management of migration;- dissemination of best practices in the field of migration;- the organization of 3 schools in Europe and 22 trained lecturers and professors;- publication of didactic manuals;- 1 pilot course and minimum 30 students trained;- REMOVE programs included in the university educational curricula;- creation of research groups on the issues of migration and human mobility;- creation of a Network of interest in the REdMOVE project;- events organized in order to promote the project and launch the new programs.
