To support EU-AU markets and trade, INNOECOFOOD will train rural farmers, youth and women to innovatively produce and process nutritious aquaculture catfish and tilapia, blue-green cyanobacteria spirulina, and insect value chains that will be processed into certified marketable human food products and feed. This farm to fork approach, reaching TRL7, will be achieved by using climate smart sustainable local resources, innovative chilling and drying processes using renewable energy, reduced water consumption and circular systems within the ECOHUB by an experienced multi-actor consortium comprising 20 partners in Europe and Africa and rural communities. The specific objectives are to: - Conduct scoping of aquaculture practices (living labs) and establish four sustainable and innovative agribusiness rural ECOHUBS using renewable solar/wind energy for the production, processing and marketing of aquaculture value chains (fish and Spirulina) and insects in diverse African countries (WP2), to address AU and EU green deal and trade. - Optimize the production of eco-farmed fish, spirulina and insects, sustainable feeds and post-harvest processing technologies using sensors, AI and IoT technology in aquaculture ECOHUBS and living labs sites (WPs3-5). - Scope suitable plant products; up cycle fish waste nutrients and make novel products from fish and co-products, spirulina and insects by solar powered drying and extrusion processing, using AI sensors and IoT (WP6). - Validate nutritional and sensory quality, microbiological and chemical safety, consumer acceptance, life cycle analysis impact, and implement certification schemes for fish, spirulina and insect processing and products, for consumption, marketing and trade (WP7). - Create a database and train locally 120 youth and 120 women in the ECOHUBSand 5000 rural workers (WP8).

Number and profile of participating organisations This project originally involved twelve primary schools (or the primary section of seven of the schools) one kindergarden and one university from 12 countries but one of the two English schools was forced to drop out after one year due to unforeseen circumstances. The Project Coordinator also left at the end of the first year and the Headteacher from the beneficiary school had to take on the coordination role to keep the project on track. Five of the school’s had previously cooperated in a Comenius partnership and five other schools had previous, or current experience of European cooperation projects,Our objectives were:Developing the use and teaching of the Arts across the curriculumDeveloping and adapting the use of modern communication technologyDeveloping shared staff professional trainingImproving communication skills in foreign languages (MFL)Promotion of an appreciation of diversity and the feeling of place in the wider communityMain Activities UndertakenWe divided the project into 6 semesters running from September to January and February to July to accommodate national differences in terms of the school year. Each semester started with a TPM at which we reviewed progress to date and established priorities and actions for school to school contacts during the upcoming semester. At each the host school also led training for all attendees on an aspect of the arts that might be a local tradition or might be a skill possessed by staff or someone from the local community with clear focus on preparing the attendees to be able to go back to their own schools and trial and evaluate the taught approach to an arts technique. In addition we ran three short term LTTE courses for colleagues from the partnership schools to develop practice in the teaching of drama, the use of ICT in the arts and on approaches to using drama and other approaches to improve language. We also organised two multiplier events at which the final intellectual output was planned and coordinated. We always had plans for one single intellectual output that would be a practical guide to the teaching of arts in the primary phase but it was only at these multipliers that plans were agreed and then developed for this to be in the form of a website that was widely disseminated. The university offered their expertise in creating and then hosting this website. Results and impact attainedAll schools reported substantial improvements in the teaching of the arts in their schools as a result of their involvement in this project as shown by updated needs analysis originally completed at the start of the project. Positive feedback on the quality of the LTTE sessions was very strong and also on the vast majority of the training offered at each and every project meeting on different aspects of the teaching of the arts. The clips and photos of activity in the schools uploaded to the e-twinning site reflect the variety and the quality of outcomes from trialing these activities.Modern communications technology was used throughout by staff to share ideas and experiences on our dedicated facebook pages and on the e-twinning site. The website structure and contents were mostly prepared at the second multiplier in January 2019 and the university have now completed the basic template but the content within the pages has not yet been completed as we envisaged. The feedback from the LTTE on language teaching and the development of support at the meetings to complement the work of the project coordinator in helping colleagues to understand the tasks and ideas that were being discussed suggests we achieved good results in relation to this objective. Finally at a time when The UK’s relationship with Europe is becoming so strained it has been so helpful for the beneficiary school to be able to show Europe’s human faces to its community and for partners it has been re-assuring that the desire to turn their backs on Europe is not shared by all in the UK.

While the number of small animals in Europe and in our country continues to increase, the enterprises have difficulty in finding shepherds to manage their flocks. For this reason, it decreases the number of animals in the enterprise.Despite the large number of sheep goats in our province, there are not enough shepherds to manage these flocks. There are shortcomings in the level of consciousness of our existing shepherds according to European standards. If we cannot make our shepherds more conscious, or if we cannot raise awareness of the shepherd profession, the yield of sheep livestock will decrease. Therefore, it will affect the national economy negatively. The aim of the project is to increase awareness of the shepherd profession and to increase the awareness of our existing shepherds to European standards and thus to increase the efficiency of sheep production, meat and dairy products. Objectives of the Project;1- Make Shepherds to recognize the importance of the sector.2- To increase the awareness of our shepherds about sheep and goat breeding.3- To increase the shepherds' welfare levels4- To increase animal welfare practices5- To understand and develop new approaches in sheep and goat farms6- Developing better strategies for better functioning of ovine enterprises7-To ensure production in accordance with European Animal Welfare CriteriaThe project will be carried out with 7 partners. Two short-term learning teaching training activities will be organized in the project. The first of these trainings will be held in Serbia and the second in Greece. The aim of these trainings is to adopt new approaches to vocational education and to reflect this method to their professional skills. After these trainings, the professional competencies, knowledge and skills of the participants will increase. Also; this project will provide participants with the opportunity to use these new learning methods in their own enterprises, institutions and organizations.Within the scope of the project, local training courses will be organized to increase awareness of the shepherd profession and to increase the awareness level by reaching shepherds in the wider masses. These courses will include the reshaping of the European shepherd profession with the criteria of European sheep breeding, local sheep goat breeds, life skills in nature, and different shepherd cultures. An information platform will be created that shepherds will always reach to solve the problem of being social and socially remote. All information that may be needed by the shepherds will be presented to the shepherds with intellectual outputs such as guidance and e-learning programs. Thus, shepherds will obtain healthier and productive products to increase their knowledge and skills in the professional sense. In addition, these outputs will enable life, personal and professional development to be included in social life.2 seminars will be organized with the participation of relevant stakeholders in Burdur and Greece. The aim of these seminars is to share and disseminate the generated intellectual outputs. In this way, shepherds will be encouraged to obtain better quality and productive products by using scientific methods instead of traditional methods of participants and participants.

The Partnership funtioned for the first of the three year period. 2. The Applicant Organization (AO) was withdrawn from the Partnership by the academy trust which took over the running of the school.3. During the first year, except for the financial management problem, the Partnership functioned well.4. The AO was not allowed by the local authority to manage the financial payments of the Partnership. This led to delays and unnecessary currency conversion charges.5. All activites as laid out in the application were carried out. At the Transnational Management Meetings, termed Plannign & Review Meetings, Action Plans for the first two semesters, of the six into which the Partnership period was divided, were created. These Action Plans were carried out.6. The long-term benefit is that the remaining Partners continue their association and plan to return to Erasmus with a different Applicant Organization.
