It comprised the activities of three work packages, those of Cinematography, Puppetry and Applied Theatre, interlinked by their respective roles in storytelling. The higher education consortium made up of the University of Theatre and Film Arts/HU, Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design, Technology/IE and Baltic Film and Media School of Tallinn University/EE enriched the range of European Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees by its “Viewfinder” cinematography joint master programme (the first semester of the first class started in in Dublin, in September 2017). www.viewfinder-ma.euThe concept, the curriculum and the consortium core documents for launching the “PuppeTry” joint master, a theatrical field not yet covered by an EMJM, were drawn up by the University of Theatre and Film Arts/HU, the Academy of Performing Arts/SK, the Puppetry Department of Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art/PL and the Academy of Performing Arts/CZ.Together with the above-mentioned Hungarian university, the University of Arts Târgu-Mureş /RO developed 4 joint university modules in the Applied Theatre field. They intend to fit them into their training portfolios first in the form of an international summer university, then as a joint master.Other activities implemented during the project period, playing an important role in creating the above joint training courses, included i.e. 16 test teachings in the framework of teacher/student mobility, work-shops, experience exchange, 9 international project meetings and the professional conference of January 2015 held with the contribution of the whole partnership, 17 international lecturers and 124 interested domestic parties, tackling the theoretical, empirical and pedagogical issues raised by the three fields concerned, as seen from the common perspective of storytelling. Proceedings, the freely available document comprising the conference presentations and published by the project leader Hungarian university is expected to initiate further scientific, professional and training contacts in the fields of puppetry, cinematography and applied theatre. The other two freely available intellectual outputs of the 3 layers project –I know that you don’t know that I know – the Intentional Stance in Filmmaking by János Vecsernyés/HU in the field of cinematography, and 3D HEROES – Some Dramaturgical Aspects of Adaptation in Contemporary Puppet Theatre by Dóra Gimesi/HU in that of puppetry – are meant to serve the same purpose. An extensive network of international associated partners has evolved around the joint training programmes developed under the project: the Viewfinder programme is supported by 28 international and national professional organisations, film companies, HEIs within and without Europe, CILECT, the International Association of Film and Television Schools and IMAGO, the European Federation of National Cinematographers Associations. Its students are hosted for short study periods by York University, Canada, Jerusalem-based Maaleh Film and the Media School and Victoria Colleges in Melbourne. The quality assurance committee of the programme is headed by a senior cinematography professor of London Film School. The implementation of the PuppeTry joint programme is supported by 26 international organisations, by puppet theatres and UNIMA, the International Marionette Institute. The professional quality of the 4 Applied Theatre joint modules was checked by a professor of London Holloway University. The outputs of the 3 layers project were presented to the wider professional public at the Kecskemét Meeting of Hungarian Puppet Theatres (puppetry work package), the Hungarian Film Week (cinematography work package) and the Hungarian National Theatre Festival (Applied Theatre work package).According to the 2011 EU Modernisation Agenda, “education, and in particular higher education, plays a crucial role in individual and societal advancement. Moreover, the international mobility of students, researchers and staff, as well as the growing internationalisation of higher education, have a strong impact on quality and affect the key areas. „replied to these statements and is in line with the aim of “Strengthening quality through mobility and cross-border co-operation”. The project outputs contributed to reaching the target “to double the proportion of students completing a study or training period abroad to 20% by 2020”.

This situation needs to be reversed. One of the most promising ways to achieve that is through entrepreneurship. Within the economic crisis and the endless discussions about the formula on how to get out of it, there is a new trend that brings optimism. This trend is based on individual initiative and the need to create new businesses that will offer innovative services, cover needs tailored to clients and will use new technologies to achieve these goals, and all of these will be achieved with great savings on resources without affecting the quality of the final product. This is the essence of the neophyte company, known worldwide as a “Startup”.The whole movement of startups has many fans and supporters, and there have been many activities in order to promote this concept, such as creating entrepreneurship incubators, briefings , workshops , meetings , conferences , seminars. Although this is the movement in major urban centers of the countries of Europe, it is found that in the province there aren’t such initiatives, but the need for promotion of entrepreneurship and the concept of the startup remains high. Therefore, through this plan we aim to:-To promote the concept of entrepreneurship-make an introduction to project participants with concepts such as startup businesses, innovation and entrepreneurship-rise up awareness among young people and other age groups who want to enter the labor market-The reduction of social exclusion caused by unemployment and part-time employment-growing entrepreneurial culture and mindset that wil encourage and sustain successful entrepreneurial endeavors-the promotion of new technologies as a means for the development, operation and spread of the entrepreneurial idea and new businesses-Acquaintance and aggregation of people who share the same passion for entrepreneurship, in order to create business groups that will jointly develop their idea, thus contributing to the development of local economy-Participants will meet with professionals and experts in the field of business startup, in order to receive support and guidance for the establishment of their own business- promote mobilization and cooperation of all stakeholders in order to achieve the goals ( individuals , private companies, entrepreneurs , local and regional bodies , chambers )-promote partner regions as examples of good practice in order to set an example to be followed by other regions in the future.- promote internationalization of stakeholders and networking between countries-find a common methodology to deal with common problems among partner countries , such as unemployment and the definition of common objectives that need to be dealt with-the transfer of innovation, knowledge transfer and experience at international levelThe main activities of the program include:-Study analysis with data for each partner country, focusing on each region about unemployment in different age groups, they type of employment, occupations in greatest demand, new business creation and their nature, the occupation of the people of each region with activities related to entrepreneurship, the gap in education and the absence of non incentives for young entrepreneurs. Internet platform STARTUP will have the following functions-Project website-E-learning platform that contains that contains educational course material for entrepreneurship-Communication tool between partners-Website where will be posted initiatives of local institutions that support entrepreneurshipTraining activities- Train the trainers-Training of future entrepreneurs (STARTUP PATHS)-Training of representatives of local authorities, accordingly on the association of Municipalities initiative and entrepreneurship
more_vert assignment_turned_in Project2019 - 2022Partners:Universitatea Petru Maior din Tîrgu Mureş, SAV, University of Oviedo, HES-SOUniversitatea Petru Maior din Tîrgu Mureş,SAV,University of Oviedo,HES-SOFunder: CHIST-ERA Project Code: CHIST-ERA-17-BDSI-006"Global supply chains, market fragmentation, mass customization and shorter product life cycles have scaled up competition among companies which give rise to the need for introducing cognitive abilities through flexible and easily reconfigurable production systems. In this sense, there is unmined potential for the European manufacturing industry to be more innovative, productive and competitive whilst using fewer resources and reducing environmental impact. The emerging cyber-physical system (CPS) presents a significant opportunity to implement smart manufacturing in the Industry. This project, called Social Network of Machines (SOON), proposes to investigate the impact of the use of autonomous social agents to optimise manufacturing process in the framework of Industry 4.0. In this context, “agents” are process, data, things, and people. ""Social"" means that cyber-physical entities will act autonomously in order to optimize an industrial process following behaviours models inspired by human social networks. Currently, in Industry 4.0, smart entities do exist. However, intelligence is localised and intelligent heterogeneous entities cannot communicate together even inside the same shop-floor. Our motivation comes from the observation that, if we want to create a real Internet of Everything that brings together processes, data, things, and people, all these entities have to be connected and follow a shared, easy to understand paradigm. To address this point, SOON proposes a holistic multi-agent framework that encompasses machines and humans. The presence of human operators is therefore crucial both to teach to and to learn from software agents, via deep learning and data mining algorithms. Agents will take decisions merging and analysing big and heterogeneous data produced by sensors, automation and information systems (such as enterprise resource planning and manufacturing execution system), and human actions. The design and evaluation of the SOON system will be performed through predictive maintenance scenarios in collaboration with three different industrial companies (in Slovakia, Spain and Switzerland). Such collaboration will enable the project consortium at assessing the application of the developed solution on concrete industrial scenarios. The three selected scenarios cope different problems within the industrial manufacturing. The first scenario pays attention to the reliability of the data provided by sensors that are key inputs in other process models and calculations (width, thickness, temperature, etc.) and whose measurement is very difficult because it is influenced by noise, distortions, etc. Errors and deviations entails quality problems that will result in nonconformities. The second scenario is thought for manufacturing environments requiring extreme accuracy (tool machines with precision requirements in the order of 1 µm) and with intrinsic and extrinsic tolerances. Finally, the third scenario is more focused on equipment reliability. These different scenarios will assure that the results will be exploitable beyond the project (e.g., portability to different industrial environments). In the three cases, the project is focused on the specific task of predictive maintenance. In agreement with the industrial partners, the valuable data acquired during the project that are not confidential will be published in open repositories and made available to the scientific community. We believe that the arrival of Industry 4.0 revolution combined with recent improvements in machine learning, and the application of autonomous multi-agent architecture can finally bring disruptive innovation in industrial process optimization and modelling."

The project was launched in September 2015, for a period of two years, during which six European partners (Germany, France, Greece, Italy, Portugal, and Romania) worked to improve the emotional and social skills of young people from disadvantaged social backgrounds aged from 14 to 25 years. This partners have developed innovative methods and tools to compile in an Intervention programme to increase youth performance and prepare them to enter the labour market. During the whole project, youngsters have been both actors and beneficiaries: they have given feedbacks, and they actively took part in the development of tools and methods that were designed for them. The 45 activities of the intervention program were divided into three main categories: the ""personal sphere"" (self-awareness and management of emotions), the ""interpersonal sphere"" (relation-ship to others) and the ""global sphere"" (towards the widest social sphere). In addition, a virtual school (http://elearning.iyes-project.eu) focused on learning socio-emotional skills have been developed. The activities tested during the piloting received a good feedback from trainers/teachers and young people. This type of activity is crucial for the new generations to develop this type of skills. According to professional feedback, the I-YES intervention program is useful because some of the behaviors of young people have changed, such as their attitudes towards themselves, others and their position within the group. The program allowed them to step out of their comfort zone, interacting with their colleagues in a different and more intimate way. He also created several moments of discussion and sharing of emotions and points of view. The I-YES Intervention Program was also considered a transversal program, useful for other target groups. For example, it can be used by adults because the development of emotional skills, especially those to communicate and work in teams, is possible and necessary throughout life. We hold that socio-emotional skills play a fundamental role in young people's lives. Unfortunately, in many European countries, professionals working with the target group have little information on the importance of socio-emotional skills. As a result, young people will benefit from the I-YES project by strengthening their skills, and professionals will benefit from the project by gaining new insights into the importance of socio-emotional skills and the approaches and tools that can be used to build these skills in a group. The project's knowledgeable training centers at local and regional level in each country are mobilized to integrate the I-YES tools into their professional practices. The project coordinator, ID Formation, is a vocational training center that trains over 100 young people every year and has extensive experience in European programs. The Italian partner, Civiform, is a vocational training center for young people aged between 14 and 17 to give them a chance to be better integrated, socialized and trained. Almost a third of young people come from disadvantaged backgrounds. The German partner, CJD Frechen, is an approved training center for the social and professional reintegration of young adults. The majority has a learning disability and therefore risks being excluded socially. The Portuguese partner, ISQ, is a private company that provides technical advice and training. They have extensive experience in the field of innovation, development, continuous training in human resources and as well as in the management of European projects. The Romanian partner, UPM (""Petru Maior"" University), has conducted research in the field of training of trainers and professional advisers, and on improving the well-being of students at school by developing their skills at the social and emotional level. The Greek partner, Best Cybernetics, is a privately owned company with significant experience and increased knowledge of new technologies used in training programs. They provide customized, reliable and cost-effective solutions that help their customers maximize their performance."
