The objective of this project is to develop our knowledge and practices in the field in order to adapt our curriculum accordingly and to improve the quality of the training given to students on the question of the belonging of 2nd and 3rd generation immigrant populations , from Morocco and Turkey. In fact, in many EU countries, second- and third-generation immigrants still face difficulties of belonging, of identity construction, crossing the relationship between their country of origin and their country of birth. . These categories of population are also overexposed to structural inequalities in terms of access to symbolic and material resources (discrimination in hiring, housing, school relegation, facies offenses, etc.). Particularly in connection with these identity difficulties, the question of the radicality of a small minority of these people came to light during the terrorist events of 2015 and 2016. The Member States quickly realized the urgency to cooperate, to coordinate and exchange experiences so that the best ideas and practices can be shared across the EU (Paris Declaration, 12 February 2015).In this context, universities have an important role to play. This is the aim of this project, which is cross-cutting in the departments of sociology and political science. Indeed, the training given to students in our institutions on issues of identity, of the relationship to the country of origin, and in particular of the place of Islam in the contemporary world, became very important in order to have a better mutual understanding of migration trajectories. It is important to update their content on an ongoing basis, based on expertise on the subjects concerned. Indeed, a better knowledge of the motivations and aspirations of these populations would enable decision makers to be equipped so that the public policies are in adequacy with the reality on the ground and the challenges of our democratic societies. It involves, among other things, grasping the logic of collective belonging, the forms of attachment, the values and the ethico-religious contours of these ethno-cultural groups. The consortium of this project intends to meet these needs. In order to target our topic, we must first of all note that the populations of Moroccan and Turkish origin constitute the immigrant population groups - outside the EU - among the most important in Belgium, France and Italy. After more than 50 years of presence of these populations on our territories, the understanding of these European citizens remains embryonic and feeds questions on the integration or the adhesion to the base of values of the European Union. So we decided to focus our work on these two ethno-religious groups. The objectives of the project are multiple:- To develop the knowledge of the types of anchoring in Europe and of the relation with the country of origin in the head of the Turkish and Moroccan diasporic communities- To develop knowledge of the religious component in the collective identity and ethical orientation of these populations- Develop a common methodology for gathering information in the field, including the participation of countries of origin (Turkey and Morocco)- Adapt curriculum contents in relevant training streams- Train our students in these topics in the light of updated information- Give the opportunity to our students to cross their knowledge and their eyes during an intensive program- Enable decision-makers to put in place prevention policies- Exchange practices between countries, the approach being conducted mainly in the field and in collaboration with its stakeholdersThe target groups of this project are primarily the teachers and students of the institutions involved in the project. But on the one hand, the civil society and on the other hand, the political decision-makers are also the target of our approach: the collective work that will be published within the framework of this project as well as the MOOC being important sources to enlighten the public action and debates in the city.

"""A Breath, Thousand Emotions"" is a Strategic Partnership project aims to introduce traditional musical instruments of partner countries to young people, and by this way, focuses on expanding awareness of young people on cultural heritage and cultural transmission. European culture reveals that almost every country has a traditional musical instrument that reflects its own culture. However, it is observed that young people do not know the history, structure and characteristics of traditional musical instruments and also do not use them widely. For this reason, we have been attentive to select experienced and enthusiastic partners from European countries in order to introduce traditional musical instruments to young people, to describe their culture by means of musical instruments and to provide young people with new basic skills or to develop a meaningful leisure activity. From this point of view, the main objectives of the Project are to revive the interest in traditional musical instruments, to ensure the use of these instruments as means of cultural transmission, and also to derive social benefit by providing young people with new basic skills and so increasing employment opportunities. On the other hand, the priorities of this project in terms of cultural heritage can be specified as follows: *Introducing traditional musical instruments of partners to young people, and getting them informed about different cultures, *Ensuring the use of these musical instruments as means of cultural transmission, *Contributing to the conserving process of the World Cultural Heritage, *Increasing toleration towards cultural differences and contributing to the socio-cultural development, *Generating sustainable intercultural cooperation. In this context, Ebru (Turkish Art of Marbling) and Ney making (within the Mevlevi Sema Ceremony), which are the two traditional Turkish arts included in the UNESCO RepresentativeList of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity , are combined with an innovative approach by performing Ebru on Ney for the first time, and the patent application of this new performance has been accepted. It is aimed by the Project to teach this practice to young people. In this way, a significant contribution will be made to the intangible cultural heritage of humanity. Furthermore, it is planned to turn this new practice into a Digital Training Module. Thereby, while contributing to the representation, conserving and sustaining of intangible cultural heritage, this innovative practice will also be used as a means of creating a new profession, increasing employment opportunities and providing a new source of income for the national economies. The Project will also contribute to sustainable intercultural communication and cooperation and to the process of expanding awareness of young people on cultural heritage. Within the scope of the Project, the project coordinator institution Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa and the local partner Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University from the coordinator country Turkey will demonstrate the making of Turkish traditional musical instrument “Ney” to 7 young people in the 18-30 age group from each partner country through a 7-dayworkshop, and also train them for developing a new product by performing Ebru on Ney. The total number of participants will be 42 young people. Similarly, partner countries Italy, Romania, Lithuania and Portugal are expected to inform these young participants by introducing their own traditional musical instruments. From this point of view, Italy's traditional musical instrument “Tamburello”, Romania's traditional musical instrument “Nai”, Lithuania's traditional musical instrument “Kankles”, and Portugal's traditional musical instrument “Cavaquinho” have been designated within the scope of the Project. All of these promotional activities are planned to take place on the Project website. Besides, each partner country will turn the introductory information about their traditional musical instruments into a guide. Afterwards, the introductory guides prepared by partner countries will be merged into one by the coordinator country Turkey under the title of Traditional Musical Instruments Digital Training Book. Consequently, the expected results during the Project and on its completion are as follows:• Generating sustainable intercultural cooperation and communication,• Increasing toleration towards cultural differences,• Creating awareness on cultural heritage, developing a protective tendency towards cultural heritage among young people and passing this tendency down to next generations,• Ensuring the participation of young people in intercultural communication by means of traditional musical instruments,• Creating a new profession and increasing employment opportunities,• Contributing to the socialization of disadvantageous participants,• Turning the practice of performing Ebru on Ney into a digital training module, and so, generating sustainability."

Biomaterials have gained much interest as a very important category of materials because of their wide application in medicine and benefit to patient such as increased longevity and improved quality of life. There is clear evidence of a stable increase of the biomaterials market for the next fifteen years. European Biomaterials Market represents a market of 7 € billion and the global Biomaterials market is five times the European market. Biomaterials sector has not yet been in a good position among the high-value chains in Turkey. Turkey imports biomedical devices, instruments and materials, especially Advanced Therapy and Medicinal Products (ATMPs) about 85%. In Turkey, few R&D activities and limited coordination of academy-industry are the main barriers to develop competitive biomaterial products and high value research in biomaterials field in Turkey. Necmettin Erbakan University (NEU) is a young University in Konya-Turkey with well-equipped Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Institute of Science and the dedicated research center, Science and Technology Research and Application Centre, brings together the scientists researching on medicine, material, energy, biomaterial sciences and focusing on creative answers to today's scientific challenges. NEU has weakness on developing functional biofibers for medicinal applications, specifically to be applied in wound healing and tissue regeneration. The proposal REGENEU aims to meet the requirements of the HORIZON-WIDERA-2021-ACCESS-03-01: Twinning Call. The main focus of this project is to increase the scientific capabilities and excellence of NEU in the field of biofiber research and development for translational application. This target is supported by European partners Fraunhofer (Germany), UKW (Germany), TCD (Ireland) and RCSI (Ireland). NEU needs to transfer knowledge about its weak side, on the development and production of innovative and GMP conform functionalized biofibers for wound healing.

<< Background >>ASPABER is an entity that provides services to people with intellectual disabilities in the province of A Coruña. Since 2017, it has had 2 educational units through which it has become aware of the barriers that these students have to reach the results in the different educational stages, and as a consequence, that their academic merits are not recognised. The same concern is shared by the other partners, which are, however, in different situations as their educational legislation has been developed differently. The needs addressed have been:The special incidence of ESL among people with disabilities (PWD) and the lack of detailed information on this phenomenon at EU level, as definitions of disability and early school leaving vary greatly from country to country. To carry out an analysis of the dimensions of why education systems in the EU are not adapted to the needs of these groups in order to shift the burden of responsibility for ESL to the actors with competences in education, and to lay the foundations for the involvement of the educational community in measures to prevent ESL.<< Objectives >>The general objective of the project was to analyse and exchange good practices in prevention, intervention and monitoring of people with disabilities at particular risk of early school leaving (ESL), defining the main dimensions in which EU education systems are not adapted to the needs of these groups. The project has three specific objectives: 1) To analyse the incidence of ESL in PWD; 2) To identify good practices in prevention (monitoring systems for students with disabilities and accreditation of educational achievements and intervention (appropriate curricular adaptations) that are carried out in the different member countries of the partnership and at all levels that affect the academic success of students with disabilities (policies, schools, family and environment and individual level) and, 3) To share and compare ideas, practices and measures that are being applied to prevent ESL between partnership countries with a low rate of ESL and partnership countries with a high rate of ESL.<< Implementation >>The activities implemented have been grouped into 6 work groups (WT): WP1 of COORDINATION AND MANAGEMENT led by ASPABER, involving the rest of the partners in its management.WP2 COMMUNICATION AND DISSEMINATION OF RESULTS led by EULABTec, who has set the guidelines in the communication carried out by all ACADAS partners.WP3 EUROPEAN OBSERVATORY ON ESL AMONG STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES, coordinated by NEU, who led the empirical data collection tasks among the rest of the partnership and was responsible for its interpretation. WP4 IMPACT OF POLICIES TO REDUCE esl, CERB has been in charge of leading the work for the elaboration of the catalogue of ESL monitoring and prevention systems with the collaboration of the rest of the partners.WP5, TRAINING IN EARLY DETECTION AND MONITORING SYSTEMS FOR STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES AT RISK OF ESL, whose responsibility fell on the School of Special Education St. Ita, which hosted the rest of ACADAS partners, being in charge of organising the transnational training.WP6, on GOOD PRACTICE IN PREVENTING ESL AMONG STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES, led by Pro-Mente Croatia with the contribution of the other partners.<< Results >>- 3 survey formats to analyse the special risks for PWDs in ESL, targeting different interest groups: families, professionals and students with disabilities; - a report on the dimensions and factors affecting the ESL of PWD;- a catalogue of systems for monitoring and prevention of ESL in PWD at EU level, with special emphasis on the recognition of educational attainment and its accreditation; - a set of resources at European level to address intervention in ESL in PWD;- a catalogue of good practices in monitoring and prevention of ESL in PWD at individual, school and setting level; - a roadmap addressed to policy makers with the necessary steps for the standardisation of educational attainment at EU level and the necessary partnerships to achieve it.Other results obtained not covered in the initial form are:- analysis of the different education policies of each partner country with special incidence of the LOMLOE as it was published during the project life cycle;- a compact network of partners that served as a mutual support to share experiences and face the challenges arising from COVID-19 in the daily life of their schools.

Agriculture gives major input for economic activity in rural areas in many coutries in Europe, therefore, women in those ares do play multiple roles in the world's agriculture systems. Turkey as a candidate for EU membership is compared with other EU countries, its women employment rates in rrual area rech up to 46% of total labor force, while another astonishing fact is in Lithuania, where majority of entire population (56%, Eurostats, 2016) lives in rural areas just as similar situation is in Hungary; Bulgaria seems facing challenge of poverty in rural areas just as Spain and Italuy where employement rates in countrysides are less than 60%. These facts are not a problem, but symptoms of low activity and attention on rural areas sustainalbe development and innovation. Therefore, countries still face prejudices and stereotypes e.g. EIGE’s research shows that narrowing the gender gap in STEM subjects would significantly benefit not just women, but the EU economy as a whole. By 2050, GDP per capita would increase by 3.0% (820 billion euros) and create an additional 1.2 million jobs. This project aims to educate educators and equip leaders in isolated and rural areas with skills and knowledge to address low economic and development activtiy in those areas; to provide them with good practices in partnering countries in order to learn how to develop economic activities and sustain it with regards to ecology, finances and other resources. This will be achieved through educating them during 2 training courses (plus study visits), transnational meetings and created training format which will be misseminated in a brochire format. The target groups for the project are: - Adult educators and leaders - the main task of EW4RD will be to benefit this target group. As they are expected to lead, inspire and deliver high-quality adult education, activities are aimed at training and preparing adult educators for those activities via innovative approaches acquired via knowledge exchange and innovative practices form partners and stakeholders. What is more, EW4RD aims to connect adult educators, as consortium believes that through collaboration, awareness of other organizations in the field, and incorporation of their tested best practices, adult educators will increase their capacity, as well as their confidence in their own abilities. Connectivity, exchange and networking are key for the rural development sector. - Lifelong learning organisations staff – the project will increase the awareness of this target group of ethical and organisational considerations and requirements of rural adult education with best practices of consortium organisations, as well as provide practical application of this knowledge.- Adult learners – the project will promote digital adult education among adult learners with no general skills, low qualifications, or other disadvantaged groups who can benefit from its advantages via the planned multiplier events to showcase innovative practice in adult education and launch the elaborated project outputs.Empowered Women For Rural Development (EW4RD) project Objectives:- To empower and encourage women in rural areas to take action on their career development and starting own business.- To promote rural development, innovation and social entrepreneurship in countryside areas.- To equip target group with skills and knowledge about sustainable practices, permaculture development and establishing a business.- To increase the probability of local, regional, national and international economic growth and cooperation.- To promote EU values, active citizenship and knowledge exchange.EW4RD necessitates a joint international effort to addresses a transnational, Europe-wide issue, related to supporting undeveloped areas, narrowing down gender gpap and educating adult educators, leaders and support staff. Therefore, the project will be significant to establish the niche in the women workforce to find ways to equip them with the required skills at regional /national and international level. Each partner possesses an original perspective and approach to challenges described, which will enrich the overall understanding of the matter at hand and build solid foundation for growth and prosperity.
