Low-qualified people are a particularly vulnerable group among the unemployed. The high percentage of people in need of upskilling and qualification in each participating country in the project is a problem that can be solved through easing access to training and guidance. To address this issue, the four partners from the UNEM project came up with the idea to contribute to achieving the priorities of qualification and upskilling through bringing together unemployed people and training providers in an online platform in order to find the most appropriate and suitable training courses. OBJECTIVESThe main objective of the UNEM project was to create preconditions for the acceleration of the integration process and the upskilling of low-qualified adults. This was done through an integrative approach, using ICT tools, digital, and research methods, which resulted in the creation of a platform for training search open for all users, available in four languages, where training providers will register and offer training opportunities (www.coursetojob.eu). NUMBER AND PROFILE OF PARTICIPATING ORGANIZATIONSThe project team included partners from three different countries: Bulgaria, Greece, and Portugal. The Coordinating organization is a vocational education provider, the other three partner organizations provide adult education and training, work in the field of Erasmus+ mobility, and consultancy. All partners brought their specific competencies to the project.DESCRIPTION OF MAIN ACTIVITIESThe activities of the UNEM project involved four Transnational Project Meetings, three Multiplier events, two Learning, Teaching, Training events, and the creation of one Intellectual output - the Coursetojob platform. The project followed a dissemination plan, implementing and envisaging activities during and after the end of the project. Was adopted an Evaluation methodology of project activities and deliverables, which monitored the elaboration and quality of project activities and results. RESULTS AND IMPACT ATTAINEDThe UNEM project team explored the qualification needs of unemployed people and low-skilled individuals in three different countries, how their needs could be addressed through the use of digital tools, and how their access to qualification can be improved. Project products include technical materials, researches, and learning activities implemented during the project meetings and events. As a result, was created an online platform, aiming to ease the access to training opportunities of unemployed and low-skilled adults and thus to improve their qualification and adaptability to the labor market. The participating organizations created a strong partnership. The target group was provided with an innovative tool – the Coursetojob platform (www.coursetojob.eu). As an overall result, after the end of the project, we expect to contribute to the improvement of unemployment rates by raising the percentage of qualified adults. Project results in numbers:- 28 people participated in the online learning, teaching, training event, increasing their knowledge, understanding, and skills in assessing digital tools and content, and in giving feedback;- 198 participants in three online multiplier events in Bulgaria, Greece, and Portugal- 81 registrations at the Coursetojob website until the end of January 2021- 467 organic followers of the UNEM Facebook page - Marketing promotions, reaching more than 7,000 users from Bulgaria, Greece, and Portugal - E-mail marketing campaigns, reaching 62 representatives of the Employment Agencies; 104 VET centers; 71-course providers, and 800 training centersLONGER-TERM BENEFITSThe most relevant longer-term benefit is to improve and extend the supply of high-quality educational opportunities, tailored to the needs of low-skilled or low-qualified individuals. The platform offers easy and free access and will stress out the most relevant professions, the professions of the future, and those with a shortage of staff - aiming to inform the users and to guide them on the most suitable professional path. On the other hand, training providers will be fostered to organize courses, that will benefit the attendees and will help them find a job. The active role of the partners in maintaining the platform ""alive"" after the end of the project plays a major role in the informative character of the Coursetojob. We aim to publish news, analyses, and important information, which will be useful for the users and will inform them about the labor market trends. The online space gives the opportunity to provide extended information about the course provider, his activities, the trainers, the program, location, fee, period, etc."

Following the many years of experience in teaching and observation, each partner identified as a big problem, the tendency of the students to be more and more isolated. They are not anymore able to act in groups, to be accepted as sociable people by the others because they are not enough prepared to face society 's demand. In this regard, the project called „SWEETS' TASTE ALONG EUROPE” will have as the main goal creating a framework for giving students strategies and tools to increase their abilities for social inclusion and for the teacher to acquire the necessary tools to combat social alienation. The planned activities of researching, preparing together and serving specific sweets will be used as the main tool in combating social alienation and will contribute to give the target-group members the self-esteem and respect for the others. The project main aims are : - increasing the social skills of students belonging to a target-group chosen from every partner by encouraging them to work in groups and by sharing results.- enhancing the teachers’ professional competence of setting-up and teaching by workshops on personal development and motivation. -decreasing the schools' dropout rates by promoting learning to learn. The project's main results, which we consider innovative by the idea they bring, that we can socialize, interact and communicate better by cooking and tasting sweets, are A Sweets’ Booklet, An interactive Europe's Sweet Map, videos made by students on the topics like personal events, sweets as friendship messengers, invite a friend to dinner and a glossary of ingredients and flavours/spices used to prepare sweets and desserts in the partner countries' cuisine translated in English and then in each national language of the participant countries. Each partner will contribute equally to the obtaining of the project results: apart from those already mentioned, a website and a Facebook project group will be created, also 2 newsletters with results and activities, a CD Rom to spread the project’s experience through a media delivery, flyers, booklets as dissemination means, questionnaires and interpretation of results where we can watch the progress, E-twinning upload, statistics about students' attendance and exam results and their participation in the school projects at the end of each year of project, promotional materials will be made, interviews with students, a display corner in each partner institution and a forum on the project web site. The participants are 36 highschool students from the 2nd and 3rd levels going to 3 learning and teaching activities in the partner countries: Galati, Romania, Turkey and Italy and 16 teachers to participate in a course in Portugal where they will be trained to teach the students to become more socially competitive and adaptable. There will also be 2 Project meetings, at the beginning of the project in Brasov, Romania and at the end of it in Portugal. Also, before each learning and teaching transnational activities for students in Catania - Italy, Galati- Romania and Manavgat-Turkey and before the course in Portugal we will have an online meeting with all the local coordinators where we will establish all the details concerning the preparation, the planning and monitoring of the meeting. A min of 100 students and minimum of 40 teachers functioning as target groups will be the beneficiaries of this partnership per total. The selection of the participants to the mobilities will be well-organized and according to well-established and published criteria and ranking will be done according to some agreed scales.Participants will be involved in promoting the project at the school and local level, in dissemination activities at writing the press articles, in creating the final products by the means of the IT and developing the workshops on social inclusion and personal development. The local workshops facilitated by the teachers who were trained helped by other teachers will empower the students' capacity to increase their social skills but also will multiply the training outcomes. The dissemination will consist of the press releases, published both in local and national press, at least one every 6 months, the project website published in a dedicated space, demonstrative lessons, a CD Rom to spread the project’s experience, the 2 newsletters, flyers, brochures, booklets, workshops, school magazines, at conferences and other events using promotional materials to make the project and its results known. The project requires further international cooperation for more research in the innovativeness of the method.

After a brief relief, the second wave of the epidemic made it clear that they could not expect to return to their original activities for a long time. While formal subsystems of education have rapidly adapted to the use of digital tools and methods and much of education has moved to virtual spaces, this shift has been much more difficult for the adult learning sector. Here, too, especially in the case of formal training (eg language courses), the transition took place quickly, but those so-called informal learning programs, the essence of which is the coexistence and the common experience of activities and experiences, have not been found to date. The reasons for this are manifold, but according to our survey, they are not to be found in the absence of digital competencies or tools, but in the difficulties of transposing the nature of activities into virtual space. All this is a problem not only because groups of people cannot expand their knowledge in this way, but also because these activities are typically not only for learning purposes but much more necessary for the general well-being of the given communities and the supportive functioning of social groups. Examples of such programs are cooking clubs, where in addition to learning to prepare healthy meals with modern techniques, these events are also forms of social togetherness for participants. In the current situation, however, with their disappearance, a vacuum has been created, which also greatly worsens the mental state of communities.Informal learning programs are implemented in different contexts in different countries. While in many countries these are largely the responsibility of local authorities or one of their institutions, there are regions in the EU where NGOs and, in a self-organizing way, the population set up these programs themselves. However, regardless of their implementation, in all cases we find some kind of organization behind the programs and most educators, adult education professionals are the direct implementers who methodologically support the programs. Our project is aimed at these organizations and educators, program organizers, in which we develop an online modular training course and an action plan methodology for organizational and program development purposes. The project involves Romanian, Dutch, Portuguese and Hungarian partners, who represent a high level of excellence in the areas represented by the project. The training and the action plan cover the current special circumstances, but in general, regardless of the circumstances, they also contribute to the development of professionals and organizations to be able to innovate with a creative and innovative approach. In all elements of the project, we focus on digital and virtual implementation. At international partner meetings, we review project management processes and organize a multiplication event at the end of the project in all 4 partner countries to disseminate the results. However, beyond these, all project activities, from development processes to testing, are implemented virtually. As a result of the project, we will create tools that achieve measurable impacts and ultimately improve the well-being of small communities as a result of innovative and creative seed practice practices in community programs.
