Starting from the analysis of the different contexts within the project partnership, the project responded to the common need to develop new training methodologies for facilitators since the majority of the educational programs are addressed to young people neglecting the role of educator. The project achieved the following objectives: - to develop a new teaching methodology through the transnational background which can be experience to trainers/educators and mentors as well as the organizations that deal with the young entrepreneurship; - to set up a transnational network of trainers, educators and mentors who are involved on common goods based on methodologies and teaching procedures which can be useful to the knowledge exchange among professionals and experts, fostering the dissemination of entrepreneurial projects. The partnership consisted of five partners from four European countries and based on different skills and expertise on entrepreneurship, vocational and educational training, business competitiveness and innovation, creative industries: - Goodwill, Italy - Consorzio Materahub industrie culturali e creative, Italy - Consejería de economía e infraestructuras, Junta de Extremadura, Spain - Inova +, Portugal - Gemeente 's-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands. The expected results have been achieved through five Intellectual Outputs and a transnational pilot training week:- A Competence Framework to list the facilitator’s key competences who deals with entrepreneurial projects connected to the urban regeneration and the valorization of commons goods. - A Training package on education aimed at identifying the methodologies and tools useful to support facilitators in mentoring activities addressed to young people.- A Social Learning Platform addressed to facilitators involved in entrepreneurship education, willing to approach this topic focusing on exploitation of common goods and urban regeneration. - A Handbook for facilitators providing information related to the training modules and a user’s manual of the platform. - Policy consisting of recommendations in relation to urban regeneration, commons and social entrepreneurship education aimed at making the project methodology transferable in other European contexts and by other actors. The project ENTERCOM had an important impact in the EU dialogue and debate around the application in real cases and initiatives of the EntreComp Framework by the European Commission. For the first time, a project was focusing on the framework application in the social enterprise wide sector, talking about urban regeneration projects and commons.

The original project was developed in Extremadura and has involved 38 AMPAs (parents’ associations) teaching them basic concepts and methodologies so that they help their children to be more entrepreneurial. With that focus that entrepreneurship education has to be ""taught"" at school and outside school, that is as a formal and non formal education transversal content, the aim of this project is that parents, trainers, youth workers, public authorities have to receive a basic training to enhance and facilitate (as facilitators) the talent of young people, whether they still are students or not, so that they all acquire basic and transversal entrepreneurial skills. If these environments and their operators are not ready to transfer entrepreneurial competences, skills and knowledge, young people will not be able to start thinking, acting and seeing themselves as entrepreneurial EU citizens. Therefore the consortium is made of 7 partners that ensure reach to local community actors (Public Authority in charge of local policy for employment and entrepreneurship), one European network representing one of the target group (teachers), two experts organizations on the topic of entrepreneurship education, a technical partner in charge of the networking and e-learning platform, a partner with experience in research and analysis and the last partner with wide experience and representation of training activity for community actors, operators (families, teachers, social workers). The structure of the project that will last for 24 months will be based on five phases. The first one will be an analysis and research work to better understand context and needs of local community actors with regard to entrepreneurship. The second step will focus on project implementation mainly through the transfer and adaptation of original project to new target group. The third phase will consist on two sets of the new training pilot sessions, first at national level and then at European level, taking into account between the two sessions applicability of contents of first session to the daily work of participants and adaptation to real detected needs for the second one. The pilot test will be a training the trainers activity. The programme will include different contents (concepts, techniques and tools, alternative education references, entrepreneurship examples, etc.) that will be addressed through a learning by doing method. All the contents developed for, during and after the pilot sessions will be available for any EU stakeholder through a social platform. It will be the channel used for a repository of lessons, tools, videos, and exercises making the experience of the target group lasting even after the pilot phase. Each partner will also host a final dissemination event to make public the results of the two-years project so that any local, regional or national entity is able to exploit this EU-shared knowledge. We expect several impacts for the project. The direct impact on the community operators participating in the trainings will be partly intangible (motivation, awareness) and partly tangible (knowledge acquisition, posterior use of the techniques learnt for their daily work). Their belonging organisation will gain new insight in how to stimulate entrepreneurial spirit in young people and also in the overall community. The local/regional community of each partner/participant will also be more aware of the need to work on new approaches towards entrepreneurship. The partners will improve internal competences making them able to exploit project results and outputs to expand their field of activity. The indirect target groups include families, school teachers, children and young people, but also policy makers, by having a community aware of the importance of entrepreneurship for all. The VET sector and trainers will also be reached."

However, for it to successfully happen, education, VET, and businesses in particular need to join forces. EU citizens are called to upskill and re-skill themselves in the domain of entrepreneurship, together with digital and green skills to be able to contribute with sustainable solutions to a stronger and more resilient Europe. Indeed, entrepreneurship is the key to enable this change. The EntreComp4Transition aims at developing new, innovative, multidisciplinary approaches to teaching and learning paving the way for the future “Green Transition Facilitator” by fostering an entrepreneurial mindset, facilitating co-creation and ensuring recognition of learning outcomes. It will rely on country clusters forging innovative alliances to support teachers, trainers, businesses and end users in the learning pathway. Activities include an in-depth analysis of skills gaps, the development a dual blended methodology with innovative learning content delivered via a MOOC in line with ECVET and EQAVET frameworks, pilot sessions, a mobility scheme, and the creation of open badges to support HE/VET and enable businesses to verify acquired competences. The project will also produce a sustainable AI-based tool to support companies in identifying skill gaps and raise their competitiveness. More than 30.000 stakeholders across the EU ranging from businesses, HEIs, VET providers, public authorities, civil society, and students will be involved and directly benefit from the project in the short-term and/or long-term. The project will produce 27 outputs, including high-quality insight reports, guidelines, and digital tools. Thanks to its well-defined governance at national level, the EntreComp4Transition project is designed to gather actors together in a strong alliance for innovation, the results of which will bring benefits to each of them, to different contexts and beyond in the long-term.
