""STEAM by STEAM"" project, or ""Strategies for Teaching, Education And learning Motivation by STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths) approach"" is a result of cooperation between 6 schools from 5 countries, having similar needs and objectives in terms of pupils' education. It is designed for 24 months. It aims to increase pupils’ motivation to learn and their school results in the partner schools, using STEAM as a way to develop essential skills, such as: pro-active attitude, problem solving abilities, creativity, multitasking, initiative, anticipation capacity, teamwork, empathy, through exchanging experiences and good practices. The project is a way to apply some teaching/learning methods from a country to another, adapting them accordingly. It should be carried transnational, because it becomes a way to experience such methods with different pupils, school environment, teaching materials, also a framework to develop pupils’ essential life skills using partner schools’ lesson ideas. The target group are pupils 6-14 years old, primary & elementary teachers from partner schools, parents, additional, teachers’ training centers, NGOs. The project objectives are: to develop teachers’ skills to plan and do lessons in a STEAM vision, through a training course on this topic; to apply the STEAM concept by the teachers, in lessons designed by themselves and by the partners; to create the framework of developing essential skills for pupils, using STEAM as a pathway, through lessons delivered in the schools by teachers from the partner schools; to develop a collection of ready-to-use STEAM professional development materials for teachers (lesson plans, games), uploaded on an on-line platform.Byy the end of the project, some results are expected: 40% kids from the partner schools become more motivated in learning, and this will be visible in their results, both in school and extracurricular activities; 40% of them learn problem-solving skills to become better thinkers, within STEAM lessons. This makes them more prepared for job markets after graduation; 40% teachers from partner schools created STEAM lessons in an integrated vision, due to the exchanging experiences during the project transnational activities and uploaded them into the on-line platform, to be visible and useful for other teachers; teachers participating into the transnational activities have developed communication skills in English and teaching skills to deliver STEAM lessons in the partner schools; partner schools learn how to adapt and arrange the school schedule, in order to offer the pupils creative, interactive learning activities, able to develop them essential skills; schools curricula focused on pupils’ complex and complete development'. The project is focused on two very important aspects. One of them deals with pupils’ essential life skills, among them, problem solving abilities, creativity, multitasking, initiative, anticipation capacity, teamwork, empathy, also learning to learn. The other one consists in creating the pathway for improving/developing these skills, and this is STEAM concept, that involves pupils and teachers in a collaborative process of teaching and learning. The activities will be local and transnational ones, among these ones, a training course in Suceava RO for 4 teachers from each partner school and 4 exchanges of pupils (6 pupils and 2 accompany teachers) will be organized in BG, GR, LT and RO (Ostra). Only a project meeting will be organized, in Portugal, by the beginning of the project. The project will be monitored in terms of activities, resources, impact (using databases, Google docs). The assessment will be focused on: the process, the results, budget and impact. The quality control of all the project activities will be done, in each partner school, by a commission created within the project team, who will have clearly defined tasks, to pursue the quality descriptors designed at the partnership level for each activity related to fulfilling the project aims. The communication among partners will be done in the project working language, English, via: e-mail, Skype, Facebook and Messenger, phone WhatsApp, fax, mobile messages, and it will be permanent. The impact of the project will be visible for pupils, in terms of increased learning motivation and life skills developed; for teachers, who will re-consider their teaching methods focusing mainly on active ones, considering STEAM approach as a pathway to create new learning opportunities; institution and school staff; will get involved into the project activities. It will be disseminated at the local/regional/national/international level, in different ways: professional meetings, articles in newspapers. The total required grant is 188,280.00 EUR."

In the age science and technology, it becomes clear that the most important ecological problems that emerge are air, water, land pollution. Therefore, already at school pupils must realize that each of us must protect the nature, use its resources wisely and rationally, and start acting from the immediate surroundings. The goal of the project is to develop the STEAM skills of students in exploring ecological problems. Objectives: 1. Understand the experiences of the partner countries of the project and enable students to conduct joint research activities. 2. To promote pupils to reveal themselves in social, natural and cultural field, to develop environmental self-awareness 3. Improve foreign language skills and broaden the cultural outlook. Project participants are from three countries: Lithuania, Portugal and Poland. In all countries, the main target groups are schoolchildren aged 13-17 of main / secondary education institutions. While carrying out the activities provided in the project, students improved their academic (seeking evidence-based conclusions and decisions, understanding human-induced changes in nature, and taking personal responsibility for preserving the environment) and general competences (communication, social, initiative and creativity). As proved in the evaluation process, after all these activities students results in English and STEAM improved significantly in comparison to those before the project. Students created educational film and a poster, improved research, critical thinking, cooperation and creativity, initiative, social competences and lead to better understanding of the environmental issues of each country, students more eager to take personal and social responsibility for protecting the environment. Students not only had the opportunity to study, but also improved their communication skills abroad and increased their cultural awareness.

They all developed before the project, with different experiences and backgrounds, SEAS (Successful Educational Actions), that increase the efficiency of learning, generate equity since all the student learn more and those in a disadvantaged situation acquire the basic and necessary knowledge, improve their performances and increase social cohesion. For the four schools, was important to reinforce educational results, guaranteeing the long-term implementation of SEAS. All SEAS were develop in all primary groups, weekly or each two weeks. That means that about 1500 people, including students, teachers, relatives and other members of the community have participated in the project, many of them students with social disadvantages. The main objectives of this project were: To reinforce the implementación of SEAs in the European Schools, partners of the project. To promote and foster the participation of families and the school community in the development of SEAs, in each school. To share good parctices and success strategies for families and community participation. To stablish a small network of schools that are implementing SEAs in Europe. To provide training, materials and skills for the participating schools to promote SEAs in a sustainable way. To promote the acquisition of skills and competences by the implementation of the SEAs in all the school groups. To promote social inclusión, fostering the educational success of everyone and the participation of all the school community in this aim. To achieve this aims, schools went further in the implementación of SEAS, shared with the others their best practices, their challenges and reflections, and they will created resources for teachers, families and students in order to disseminate the results of SEAS and foster families and community participation. Schools also carried out training seminars to go deeper in the knowledge and organization of SEAS, to improve their results and impact, and to foster all community engagement in their development. Schools created videos and presentations to explain the Educational Success Actions that are carried out to local community, as well brochure about of the Successful Educational Action. In the teacher training seminars, partners worked on the contents, structure and design of these resources. Schools organized students mobilities to each country, in which Interactive Groups and Dialogic Reading activities were organized with the participation of relatives and other volunteers of the community. In addition, different activities were organized inside and outside the school to facilitate intercultural exchange and knowledge of the cultural heritage of each country. Although some mobilities suffered the impact of COVID19 restrictions, they change their format to virtual one, in order to guarantee the achievement of the objectives and the intercultural and international experience of the participants. Other project activities were carried out in order to implement the dissemination and to facilitate the impact of the project: LOGO Contest, Erasmus+ Corner, Project website, School project blog, project Facebook profile, eTwinning space and video summaries of the project. This Erasmus + project made possible the necessary training to develop SEAS in a rigorous way, and to ensure its proper functioning in the medium and short term. In addition, a small network of schools (the partner schools) at a European level that are implementing SEAS was established, and some partners still work together in different Erasmus projects. The training seminars, the participation in the mobilities and the visit to other schools that are developing SEAS, facilitated the creation of a collaborative structure as well as the creation of support and informative materials so that they can be used in the project and are available for the educational community of each school, and for other schools interested in the SEAS. Promoting the best results in educational success for all, based on the families and community participation, the project also improved the coexistence, increasing social cohesion.

This partnership aims to promote the acquisition of civic attitudes, skills and knowledge through relevant traditional and innovative tales for different students coming from different walks of life and from different cultures. Encouraging students to read tales makes them discover attitudes and qualities that can help them develop healthily in the 21st century. In this way, the students notice the difference between good and evil (the national tales have the ability to see the differences between positive and negative powers) and they become aware of the true values of the contemporary world and the issues that we confront with every day. Participants The target groups of our project are represented by students between14 and 19 and teachers. The students belong to different environments, with financial, social and economic issues, with the risk of dropping out, with poor marks, of different religions and with special needs. General objective: -promoting the acquisition of civic attitudes and active citizenship among students from participating schools by reinterpreting traditional tales from the perspective of the values of contemporary European society (minimum 60% of target group) Specific objectives: -increasing the interest in school through exchanges of good practices and intercultural experiences among students and teachers from participating countries (min. 50%); -developing teaching skills among teachers through innovative reading approaches that link the message of the tale to the contemporary reality (min 60% of the target group); -supporting innovation and creativity through partnership and transdisciplinary approaches (language, literature, religion, history, civic values) (min 40%). Activities: C1 (Romania) - ""An Interactive Course in Narratology and Creativity"" is the course elaborated by a Literature teacher and is meant to provide both a theoretical and practical approach to the concept of ""TALE"", as a literary species. C2 (Greece) - The first students exchange will take place in Greece and its main topic will be ""Our Most Representative Tale"". Therefore, each country has to identify the national story that best represents its cultural identity and present it to the others using different means of expression. C3 (Poland) - the second students exchange consists in learning about European values and the Polish team will have to prepare a power point material with the topic ""Europe and its Values"". C4 (Turkey) - The third students exchange consists in a creative workshop entitled ""Labor-a-story"", where the students guided by their teachers will have to start working on a modern tale having the traditional tale as a model. C5 (Macedonia) - The fourth students exchange consists in developing the technique of writing a tale - a modern tale that focuses on European values. The topic of the meeting will be ""My European Value"", meaning that each country should choose the European value that needs to be better highlighted in their present society. C6 (Portugal) - The final students exchange has as main goal the presentation of the original modern tales in a creative manner. The participants will reunite in order to present their ""Fairy-Tale Europe"", which is their own vision about Europe and its modern values incripted in the language of a tale. Results and impact The biggest impact of our project refers to the number of students who will become aware of the European values and raise interest in reading. During and after the lifetime of the project, the students and the teachers will work cooperatively and throughout the project activities they will realise the need of respecting each other, of being tolerant and friendly, of being respectful and trustworthy. Tolerance, friendship, honesty, peace, freedom are values that contribute to a healthy atmosphere in each school, each country and in Europe. This warm and creative atmosphere is expected to diminish the low achievements of our students and to discourage the lack of interest in reading. Long - term benefits The audio CD and the Digital Book will be at the schools' libraries, at orphanages, at nursing homes, so many people will benefit from them. The information received during the training course will be shared during the teachers' meetings at regional level and many teachers will be able to apply the new approach of reading to classses and many students will be able to discover another way of reading. The outcomes and the outputs of the project will be developed and used permanently in the partners' schools and at local level."
