It will begin on September 1, 2020 and end on August 31, 2022 (a 24-month project over two school years). The project involves two agricultural vocational education institutions with similar profiles:- The Savy Berlette Agricultural Education High School, located near Arras, in the Hauts-de-France region;- The instituto di istruzione secondaria superiore L G M Columella located in Lecce, Puglia in southern Italy. In each country, 30 students participate in the project: these students are teenagers between the ages of 15 and 17, in vocational training in agriculture, hotels and equipment maintenance. For the most part from rural areas, these students face difficulties in their studies but also in opening up to each other and to Europe. We also chose as a priority for our ""Common Values, Civic Engagement and Participation"" project, with three main objectives:1) Prevent and recover the school drop-out of vocational students, especially in general subjects, through innovative and collaborative activities that will arouse their interest;2) Develop active student citizenship, through intercultural education, memory work and democratic education, through peer exchange;3) Improve the learning of foreign languages by students, especially English, which is necessary for their good professional integration. Why address these topics as part of an Erasmus project?Simply to enable students to meet students from another European country and offer them engaging and strong life experiences; to develop interculturality in a cross-cutting way to the different subjects studied by students with an alternative pedagogy; to make the student an actor of his European future. The project includes two mobility activities that will allow students to visit places of remembrance and democracy and encourage a stronger and more lived commitment to all the themes related to peace and European integration. These collective mobilitys will enable students to exchange between peers, discover the traditions and customs of another European country and strengthen their sense of belonging to Europe. The implementation of this project will also be based on remote exchanges, as part of an eTwinning project and through the use of social networks favoured by young people (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook). These virtual activities will use the ""Public History"" methodology to restore historical memory through all available resources (museums, public and private institutions, associations, archives, libraries, historical sites, etc.). This remote work will be done in two stages:1) Getting to know: Students will be invited to introduce themselves, to describe their school and their environment in English. They will work together on the communication around the project: writing a press article, creating a digital poster and contesting the creation of a project logo.2) Italy and France during the two wars: before and after visits during mobility activities, students will work remotely on interviews in English and an exhibition to be displayed in their school. Together they will study common works in their language (Matin Brun by Frank Pavloff, The Found Friend of Fred Uhlman, Maus d'Art Spiegl...) and exchange their analyses of these texts in English. It is expected that this project will contribute to:- Increase students' motivation to learn foreign languages- Significantly reduce school drop-out- To raise awareness of the need and importance of a united Europe- Gaining knowledge about historical memory and European citizenship- Repel all forms of extremism and intolerance- Understand the mistakes of the past so as not to repeat the same mistakes. This project initiates a new partnership between the two institutions: it is hoped that its results will lead to further collaboration, in order to promote the mobility of vocational education staff and students in Europe."

Despite all the international treaties and efforts to decrease CO2 emission, it increased by %2.7 in 2018 in comparison with 2017 because of global warming. According to 2018 CO2 emission results, there are countries whose emission is more than 1 billion tons and have the highest emission rates in the world. Total CO2 emission of them constitutes more than half of the global CO2 emission with a rate of %54.2.When the amount of CO2 emission created by EU countries is added, it becomes 24.5 GtCO2, that is, %63.1 of global CO2 emission. In the light of this data and our county’s emission rate, we decided to carry out a project which will be based on a holistic approach to fight against global warming via recycling. All the partner schools will raise awareness about saving natural resources and recycling in accordance with Waste Management Philosophy, providing assistance to this project and accordingly help investing in the future and economy. We became partners with schools which have similar concerns about global warming. Each partner is capable of being a strategic partner who can work in harmony with other partners during the project and carry out activities to assist its sustainability. Also, all the partner schools have sufficient amount of responsibility, willingness, enthusiasm, and experience to conduct learning /teaching activities to raise awareness. Target population of the project consists of teachers, students, families, and local communities of six partner institutions from Turkey, Italy, Greece, Romania, Spain and France. Each partner school will participate in the activities with 4 students and 2 teachers. The project has three stages:Be Aware, Take Action, and Expand. Each activity in the project will be organised based on these three stages.Learning-Teaching-Training Activities•Toy making with recycled materials•Observing nature to raise awareness about global warming•Be aware-Take Action–Expand activities addressing global warming•Producing food with no waste•Saving energy with “Waste Observers” activity•Historical Journey of Waste Methodology of learning-teaching-training activities Project team of each partner school will make observations in other partner countries’ educational environments on the purpose of comparison. Each county will be able to determine their own implementations’ positive and negative situations by on-site observations and experiences of the relevant implementations. The teachers and students that are in the project team will carry out observations and experiences in their own countries and on drawing attention to the problem regarding our world and on making preventive activities, the studies of common action will be done. About this project; -Educational Activities(Workshops, experiments, observations, visits, etc.) will be organized to create awareness. The importance of recycling will be expressed under these topics; •Protection of the natural sources,•Saving energy, •Enabling trash process by reducing the amount of the waste,•Helping us invest the future and the economy via recyclingGlobal warming is not only our problem but also other countries’.We, with our partners, want to create a strong effect by leaving this consciousness to the next generation by awakening all together to realize the world’s dream of vivacious seas, lands, unlimited and clean energy. As individuals who learn from the experiences and becoming more conscious to the constantly increasing global problems regarding the whole world, we think that the more we expand the influence area, the more we increase the sustainability of the project. In the background via our project; The desired goal will be achieved by respecting cultures and tolerance, intercultural learning, team work, noticing how important the personal effort is and the development of language and ICT skills. Results and Long Term Effects; •It’ll contribute to raise awareness among youth by becoming conscious while observing the effects of the global warming.•It will create awareness about investing the future and the economy by recycling, decreasing the amount of the waste, energy saving and the protection of natural resources.•Recycling materials that accelerate global warming will be known.•Encouraging the environmental conscious and care will be ensured.•Activities will be determined with the local institutions providing reach to the larger masses.•By learning, teaching and educational activities that are done according to the proper schedules to achieve goals, the final beneficiaries will be affected, too.•Each partner will make a project corner.•Online magazine will be published about the results of the global warming and the most recycled wastes in partner countries.•Photograph exhibition and video display about the activities of the project will be done.•The impact area will be spread as our project will be run on eTwinning, too.
