The main goal of the project was to develop and mainstream an accelerator program for young adults with innovative business ideas in rural areas. The partners conducted a large-scale surveying in Croatia, Greece, Spain, Romania and Hungary to get a clear and complete vision on the extent of innovation potential Croatian, Greek, Spanish, Hungarian and Romanian young adults – with a special focus on those residing in less favored geographical areas and we developed an innovative entrepreneurial training course which will be implemented and continuously optimized. Then in the next phase we established an online community of young European entrepreneurs, where stakeholders can interact, exchange ideas or good practices, and propose new business initiatives. Then, we will provide support and business coaching services to young entrepreneurs. The e-learning platform is accessible from anywhere anytime and it consists of 7+6 modules. - assignment_turned_in ProjectPartners:CORK INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, FH JOANNEUM GESELLSCHAFT M.B.H., Lokalna razvojna agencija Pins, Caped Koala Studios Ltd, PROSPEKTIKER INSTITUTO EUROPEO DE PROSPECTIVA Y ESTRATEGIA SACORK INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY,FH JOANNEUM GESELLSCHAFT M.B.H.,Lokalna razvojna agencija Pins,Caped Koala Studios Ltd,PROSPEKTIKER INSTITUTO EUROPEO DE PROSPECTIVA Y ESTRATEGIA SAFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2017-1-IE01-KA201-025721Funder Contribution: 267,324 EUR- "As identified in the initial project proposal, the Promoting Green Games project sought to develop an educational digital game & associated resources to innovate & support improvements in the area of sustainability education in schools, along with a toolkit for teachers to aid in the integration of this game in the classroom. The project achieved this primary goal by creating a game & associated resources to support the introduction, integration & support of sustainability (&/ or climate action) education & activity within schools for both students & for teachers. The developed project outputs have been subject to testing, feedback & re-development a number of times over the course of the project to align them as closely as possible to the needs of the target audience & education sector & the main outputs (primarily the game & associated training material) are currently freely available on all major mobile formats & in public repositories such as the iOS store & Google play store. Feedback from pilot participants indicated an extremely positive opinion towards the use of the game for teaching & learning. The project has exceeded expectation in a number of key areas. In particular, the project has developed a large number of resources, beyond the initial targeted expectations identified in the project proposal. In particular, the project has developed a number of online platforms (3 in total, beyond the single platform - O5 - defined in the proposal) in order to diversify and promote the individual elements of the project - the developed project game (http://penjiithegame.com/), the teacher back-end supporting the game (https://teachers.penjiithegame.com/) and the ""official"" online platform housing all developed resources (http://greenskillsgame.eu/). The project has developed a large and varied amount of training material as part of the game development process and has made this material across multiple formats and media, ranging from the in-game learning resources to classroom-based posters, to online animations. The project has developed an innovative digital game, which not only serves as an engaging tool for supplying and raising awareness about key sustainability/ climate action areas - including climate change, plastic pollution, biodiversity, the SDGs, climate justice, household water, food and energy waste - but has, as part of this development, created an innovative approach supporting sustainability and climate action education in which Game-Based-Learning can be used as part of a flipped classroom approach to support climate action education inside of and outside of the classroom and which can ultimately support teachers and students in creating genuine impact and action. This innovative approach arises from the presence of a “Teacher Back-End”, linked to the developed digital game, through which teachers can release specific levels to students so that students can learn about one or more of the 4 key climate action areas covered by the game - either in-class or outside the classroom. Teachers can then further build on students’ in-game learning by accessing a range of curated existing climate action education resources, alongside bespoke climate action education resources developed as part of the project, through the teacher back-end website and/ or project game website in order to deepen student learning through in-class activities and supports. Teachers can also, as a fourth step, utilise a database of climate action initiatives aimed at primary and secondary schools available on the the game website and teacher back-end to identify suitable initiatives which their students and/ or schools can become involved in, in order to create genuine impact. The project results have been validated with a large audience - primarily the key target audience of teachers and students in primary and secondary schools, but also with organisations/ institutions charged with supporting sustainability/ climate action education alongside policy makers, education representatives, public representatives, etc. Feedback on the project outputs has been uniformly positive and ongoing activities look to embed the resources in the area of sustainability/ climate action education for schools across Europe. The project was widely disseminated to a large range of participants across multiple channels locally, nationally, across Europe and internationally - through face-to-face meetings, conferences, festivals and events, through piloting activities and trainings and through a wide range of online means. The developed project outputs are freely available and have been developed and provided so that they remain freely available indefinitely on open online portals such as the Google Play store and Apple iOS store, (where the digital game has currently amassed in excess of 500 downloads), maximising access and visibility not only to the target audience, but to the general public as well." All project activities are cross-sectoral ( school, municipality, local entrepreneurs) and are building grass-root approach. Main aim as well as commission of this project is to include, engage and empower as much young people into the region/community they live in as possible and to prevent brain drain and high youth unemployment rate in rural areas. Thanks to this project, the empowerment of youth will be done by high quality and innovative activities – such us international trainings, local internships , job shadowing & personal expertise developments, which will lead into youth engagement (and empowerment) in a form of specific socially innovative projects implemented in the region/community they live in. All activities will be done in a both - formal and no-formal ways, as well as by using online (virtual training course with certified EU project managers) and offline (social business, green economy & start-ups trainings) tools and methods. Associated partners (schools and NGOS) will provide necessary environment for implementation of school participatory budget, so that the students will be able thanks to gained expertise apply for a municipality participatory grant. Thanks to this project, the students will engage to the community also at the municipality level. The participants will not only gain valuable know-how regarding green economy and project development, but thanks to the participation at municipality/community level they will gain also skills including public speaking, negotiation, facilitation, confidence, communication skills, and leadership.INITIAL SITUATIONThis project is an upgraded and more innovative version of a previous project PlaNET SOEN2, which had been awarded by Iuventa and Slovak Ministry of Education as the best cross-sectoral project for the year 2019. We decided to continue with the activities in our region, because the demand and need of continuous youth work in the region is still very acute, as none of the municipalities do have a sustainable plans on how to prevent brain-drain and high youth unemployment rate. In this upgraded version we have new partners and we put more attention into fostering the development of social and civic competences at the high school and municipality level and our priority is also to reduce disparities in access and use of digital technologies by mixing non-formal and formal learning education in online training courses. We expect that these new approaches will support the dynamics of school life and community life and promote more responsible and caring autonomous youth, exercising permanently their citizenship in a nurturing and creative environment.PROJECT OUTPUTS& IMPACTAre following:NETWORKS & PARTNERSHIPS & VIRTUAL PLATFORMS1 x international network and partnership4 x official partnership between PPs and schools & NGOs4 x sustainable networks of local entrepreneurs & local small municipalities1 x web page1 x social media pageMEETINGS & TRAININGS & INTERNSHIPS & JOBSHADOWINGS3 x transnational meetings (1xkick-off meeting, 1xmidterm meeting, 1xfinal meeting)2 x transnational trainings ( 1x training about school participatory budget & social innovative project development, 1 x training about start-ups & green economy projects)6 x virtual online trainings ( 3x training about school participatory budget & social innovative project development, 3 x training about start-ups & green economy projects)20 x local trainings about project budgeting -SPB( 5xtrainings in each PP country)up to 20 x local trainings about project innovations & green economy ( 3xtrainings in each PP country)up to 20 x local internships/trainings ( 5xinternships/trainings in each PP country)4 X international job shadowing’s8 x multiplier events (2x conference)INTELLECTUAL OUTPUTS1 x online training about SPB and MPB1 x interactive workshop/trainig material about social innovations, start-ups and green economy1x municipality participatory budget (MPB) toolkitPARTICIPANTSAt least 40 x trained young people – project development, social innovations, green economy & start-ups4 x trained teacher – in school & municipality budget implementation principles4 x trained youth workers– in school & municipality budget implementation principles4 x schools implementing SPB4 x youth NGOs educated in project development & SPB4x local municipalities included in the projectOTHERS4 x social entrepreneurship business ideas models10 x newsletters1 x communication manual1 x project evaluation plan10 x press releases2 x video20 x monthly reports from each partner8 x project ideas (for school participatory budget and municipality participatory budget) All Research products- arrow_drop_down - <script type="text/javascript"> <!-- document.write('<div id="oa_widget"></div>'); document.write('<script type="text/javascript" src="https://www.openaire.eu/index.php?option=com_openaire&view=widget&format=raw&projectId=erasmusplus_::306f5ae70ab6ddeded9def2ebb21da29&type=result"></script>'); --> </script>For further information contact us at helpdesk@openaire.eu- more_vert All Research products- arrow_drop_down - <script type="text/javascript"> <!-- document.write('<div id="oa_widget"></div>'); document.write('<script type="text/javascript" src="https://www.openaire.eu/index.php?option=com_openaire&view=widget&format=raw&projectId=erasmusplus_::306f5ae70ab6ddeded9def2ebb21da29&type=result"></script>'); --> </script>For further information contact us at helpdesk@openaire.eu
- assignment_turned_in ProjectPartners:TREE AGENCY OU, Gmina Kielce/Kielecki Park Technologiczny, ASSOCIATION CREATIVE IDEAS, Lokalna razvojna agencija Pins, Krill Studio di Degli Atti Cosimo +1 partnersTREE AGENCY OU,Gmina Kielce/Kielecki Park Technologiczny,ASSOCIATION CREATIVE IDEAS,Lokalna razvojna agencija Pins,Krill Studio di Degli Atti Cosimo,Associazione Distretto Produttivo Puglia CreativaFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2021-1-LV01-KA220-ADU-000026049Funder Contribution: 254,025 EUR- "<< Background >>The crisis due to COVID-19 has underlined the importance of access to digital media/tools and to be familiar with them, as well as the role and power of cultural development in society. However, Cultural and Creative Industries were among the hardest affected by the pandemic crisis, Covid-19 pandemic, with jobs at risk ranging from 0.8 to 5.5% of employment across OECD regions. CCIs are also important in their own right in terms of their economic footprint and employment. They also encourage innovation across the economy and give their contribution for a positive social impact. Furthermore, the venue-based activities (i.e.museums, performing arts, live music, festivals, cinema, etc.) were the most hit by social distancing measures. Policies to support enterprises and workers during the pandemic can be ill-adapted to the non-traditional business models and forms of employment in the sector (OECD, 2020). The partnership consists of six different partners from five EU countries (Latvia, Italy, Estonia, Poland and Croatia), which will work together, to enhance the digital skills of CCIs operators/professionals, including people coming from rural contexts and empower them through the ""Creative Academy Training Programme"", the ""Cremel Training Platform"" and the ""Trainers Guide"".The partnership will capitalize and build on each other’s knowledge and expertise, as well as experience from best practices in their national context, for future circulation and transfer of know-how. Considering the importance of CCIs in the national and international business and social growth, all partners involved aim to give a contribution in this specific sector. According to the most recent Eurostat statistics , in 2017, there were more than 1.1 million cultural enterprises in the EU-27, a number that has grown further in recent years. Italy already had the highest number of cultural enterprises among the EU Member States (15.9 % of the EU-27 total in 2017), with 183.102 enterprises. In opposition to Italian context, the other organizations involved in the project also have a great experience about the topics discussed by the proposal, but they faced a different country situation. In fact, the official number of cultural enterprises in the other partners’ countries is completely different: only 5.190 in Latvia, 3.787 in Estonia, 88.126 in Poland and 6.877 in Croatia (Eurostat statistics: number of enterprises in the cultural sector. Last update: 14/04/2021), even if the data show a significant increase in the number of cultural enterprises in these countries from 2013 till today. The strategic partnership built and the expertise brought by the partners makes it possible to spread digital skills in the CCIs of their own countries and to reach specific targets.According to the analyzed needs and the country contexts, the partners of the project will focus their attention on the following target groups:CCIs and educators/professionals working in cultural and creative sector in rural and remote areas;Trainers that will give a contribution in the creation and implementation of the Creative Academy and of the online learning platform, developing five main knowledge pillars;Trainees, youth and adult working in CCIs or who want to train themselves about the subject, including people coming from rural areas who have a difficult access to digital training services<< Objectives >>CREMEL (CREative MEdia Lab) aims to create an international strategic partnership developing and testing innovative e-learning content and methodologies addressing Cultural and Creative Industries. The CREMEL project will combine the development of new digital tools with training materials as open-source to help the highest number of cultural and creative industries (CCI) operators/professionals in remote and rural areas developing digital competences to adapt to the new digital transformation. The project will contribute to the digital dimension by offering new high-quality learning opportunities and skills development for adults through innovative e-learning content and methodologies addressing CCI by focusing on the improvement of digital and technological skills.Specifically, the project has three main objectives:First, CREMEL wants to create a pool of skills, that is a blend of knowledge and tools in the field of new media and addressed to CCIs.Second, CREMEL wants to train CCIs operators (public, private and non-governmental business support organisations) working with CCIs in rural and remote areas, focusing the attention on the following knowledge pillars for the improvement of digital and technological skills: -Digital Publishing-Communication, Marketing and Content Planning-New Media, Social Networks and New Technologies Management-Creative skills: Branding, Visual Design, Audio-Visual-E-Learning methods Third, CREMEL also encourages a bottom-up cultural development strategy for competence circulation and for interactive training activities in the European context, thanks to free e-learning tools that contribute to promote sustainable and continuous CCIs innovation processes. Considering these three specific objectives, the project will contribute to spread and share new knowledge about a better CCIs management, encouraging the achievement of the following expected results:Empowered networks of professionals and people working in CCIs field, stimulating and promoting relationships with enterprises, creating creative capital and knowledge, attracting resources from outside the involved Countries and regions, increasing the value of enterprises and cultural and creative initiatives and crafting publishing and multimedia productions and communication projects;Improved awareness about new media impact on European cultural growth and development of CCIs increasing the number of CCIs operators and professionals trained in the involved Countries;Increased economic and social sustainability of cultural and creative projects on local and European level;Improved number of training tools about new media and technologies<< Implementation >>CREMEL has a well-structured programme of actions designed and managed by private and public, profit and no-profit organizations working on local and international level with a bottom-up and participative approach. The partners involved from the beginning already developed the rationale and key points of the CREMEL programme, taking into account their specific needs and a deep understanding and knowledge of their cultural contexts. The activities developed in the design phase can provide supplementary training, advisory, financing and development services to cultural and creative operators, researchers and entrepreneurs. The CCIs should offer consulting and coaching for entrepreneurship, business skills, and product and service development. Based on this bottom-up and participative perspective, the working team will implement the following main activities:-Creation and implementation of a network of professionals, researchers and companies working in field of Cultural and Creative Industry (CCI), increasing the interaction and the exchange of skills and competences among CCIS operators at local and European level;-Creation and Management of the Creative Academy, an online training programme about the CCIs development and sustainability, in each Country involved in the project, implementing training activities such as online and offline events, live webinars, recorded video, theoretical and practical workshops, podcasts, etc.;-Creation of an online and interactive training platform, thought as an open-source virtual library where the partners, the trainers and the Organisations involved in the project can create, update and publish contents about the chosen learning topics. The main described activities allow developing, testing and sharing a completely free training programme formed by blended learning activities (face-to-face and virtual lessons) aimed at researchers, professionals and people interested in acquiring new knowledge and skills on the issue.<< Results >>CREMEL is a 2-years project scheduled with a programme that includes the development of the network, the design of the Creative Academy and the management of the online training platform. CREMEL results:R1: Creative Academy Training Programme, a totally free learning program open to CCIs students, professionals and wider public about the use of new media, digital communication and publishing in the field of culture and creativity. The result n.1 allows to design a training programme that will be based on flexible learning methods, tailored to the needs of the end-users (CCIs operators/professionals) and to country specific features, and aimed to increase the knowledge and skills of participants about the application of digital tools and measures in the field of culture and creativity promotion and consumption. R2: CREMEL Online Training Platform, conceived as an online training open-source collecting multi-languages content to be used by several users in the project’s countries and beyond. The creation of the CREMEL platform will offer CCIs operators, trainers and trainees with a powerful, dynamic and interactive tool based on cutting edge technology that will serve various purposes. It will be developed using open-source technologies in order to be easily maintainable, transferable, extensible and adaptable to other contexts after the end of the project implementation period. Moreover, the tool will be user-friendly, interactive and attractive and will be linked to the social media of the project.R3: Creative Academy Trainers Guide, a training tool, a toolkit addressed to trainers and professionals working in the cultural and creative sector. This document will include the findings of R1 and R2 and will be complemented with an analysis of different case studies, real examples of projects and initiatives developed by the CCIs professionals as a follow-up of the CREMEL training they have attended. The project will contribute to spread and share new knowledge about a better CCIs management, encouraging the achievement of the following expected outcomes:-Empowered networks of professionals and people working in CCIs field in rural and remote areas, stimulating and promoting relationships with enterprises, creating creative capital and knowledge, attracting resources from outside the involved Countries and regions, increasing the value of enterprises and cultural and creative initiatives and crafting publishing and multimedia productions and communication projects;-Improved awareness about new media impact on European cultural growth and development of CCIs increasing the number of CCIs operators and professionals trained in the involved Countries;-Improved number of training tools about new media and technologies, supporting effective and innovative methodologies through the combination of digital tools and creativity;-Fostering people with fewer opportunities with personal development and capacities on demanding digital and cultural skills, increasing employment opportunities in cultural and creative sector, especially for people from rural and remote areas and making CCIs even more accessible for every person around the world, in a “training for all” perspective;-Sustaining CCIs’ resilience, especially in difficult moments, developing work opportunities in new areas of digital CCIs and fostering the sharing of methodologies among enterprises working in the same fields in different European contexts;-Promoting the development of European rural and remote areas by promoting the growth of CCI.Furthermore all the partners are involved in the design of a dissemination strategy, the implementation of multiplier national events (4 Open Day, 1 virtual Open Day, 1 final conference) and the management of transnational events that are going to help the spreading of such results (specifically, one Training for Trainers_T4T in Italy and one Training for Courses Participants_TCP in Croatia) ."
