Cybercrime is becoming a booming economy, with $1.5 trillion in illicit profits. With such a lucrative business, hackers are constantly on alert to obtain information about passwords, emails, IP and bank accounts. Existing methods to authenticate the identity of a user in online transactions are twofold: 1)cheap and easy but vulnerable (e.g. passwords, pins) and 2)costly and burdensome but secure (e.g. cards, USBs, hardware tokens). Enterprises and governments alike are in direct need of new technology to fight security breach with a total $101Bn expenditure in cibersecurity protection. UBIQU presents StrongPIN, a unique and patented digital access solution, inexpensive and convient to use that converts mobile phones into ultra secure elements combining 2 factor authentication (2FA) methods in just one app. The architecture behind this authentication solution provides the highest cryptography levels in the user’s own mobile phone (ISO and NIST Level of Assurance 4) otherwise only supplied by hardware-based solutions such us smart or chip cards. Ubiqu was founded in 2010, with the mission of being the world’s best B2B partner in online data and authentication security technology. Its founder, Boris Goranov has been involved in security as a white hat hacker, since 1999. Today the team comprises 10 highly skilled cryptographers combining state of the art cryptography and biometric research, with modern engineering and IT frameworks, Ubiqu delivers deep technological innovation in authentication. We offer a novel business model of LoA 4 token as a service to banks (ING and Monyq), Telecom Operators (KPN and Connected!) and Trust Service Providers (Cleverbase) which are all in pilot stage with us. We expect to expand and reach 5m users by 2024, generating a turnover of € 10 million with StrongPIN and cumulative profits of 11M€.
