"The idea about the Project stem from the fact that seas and oceans are drivers for the European economy and have great potential for innovation and growth. But this potential, called “Blue Growth “ strategy by EC, has not been understood enough in public . Europe faces many challenges today, but one, which is obvious and easy to relate to students living in sea-side towns is the issue of the sea impact on their lives. The six partner countries will explore the “The Blue Growth” from the perspectives: Fishing and Aquaculture, Blue Biotech Underwater Mining & Sea and Maritime heritage, Coastland Tourism, Marine Energy, Blue Jobs.As teachers, our goal is to enhance students’ motivation and provide the necessary skills to handle future challenges. In order to achieve it, we need to ""transfer"" school learning to real-life situations. This project enables teachers to find methodologies that will help in that transition and makes schoolwork relevant for the students. We think that working in an international context is a benefit for all the stakeholders: teachers will grow personally and become proficient in their teaching methods and students will play a more active part in their own learning process. We face a Europe – a world – where attitudes to environment seem to develop in a more negative direction. A relevant aim for us is a better understanding of how to preserve the maritime environment and as a consequence our cultural heritage according to a sustainable development. The partner schools will deal with this topic in many subjects such as English, social studies, geography, history, biology, navigation, ICT, electrical engineering etc. We will also engage students on different level, the total number of students taking directly part in the project will be about 120 each year + the teachers teaching these subjects.A major goal is student activity, engagement and motivation: learning by doing. To reach this goal we will use a variety of activities such as excursions, interviews with fellow students from other countries, interviews with people who work in the maritime sectors and coastal tourism etc. Students will be encouraged to try to find their own answers to their own questions. In this process, the contact with European students will make them more open to different solutions and views and it will also give them a motivating possibility to practice the foreign languages they learn at school in realistic settings. The outcomes of our project will be shared on a project face book page and on E twinning and by keeping our colleagues informed about our experiences. The main final product of the training meeting in Crete/Greece will be: a shared co-operated interactive google-map presentation of the participating countries, full of marked points with multimedia information (images, videos, texts) about environmental matters. The involved students, will fill the map with colored spots, showing places of interest, presenting their history, how tourism affected them, the environmental impact of development, the blue flags earned and so on. In addition, they could upload on google store, an android application with quizzes on coastal tourism. In Iskenderun/Turkey meeting products will be a digital dashboard web page narrating the workshops and video products about the subtopics of fishing and aquaculture, a blog page including pictures in meeting and information about subtopics and ""blue growth"" part of 2020 strategy , a leaflet about sea foods. In Constanta/Romania products will be : JOURNAL with pictures and videos uploaded on project web site ; presentations will be done both in English and in mother tongue and they will be gathered in a BROCHURE entitled: MARINE ENERGY, which will be charged on project web site or will be printed after the conference; POSTER – ways of saving energy uploaded on project web site; 5 business ideas for business environment or public authorities; JOURNAL “Renewable energy” with pictures and videos uploaded on project web site.In Sicily/Italy products will be a digital book , cointaining all the activites' results in the form of images, videos, text, questionnaire. The pics and videos will be taken by mobile phones, The questionnairies will be carried out by google moduli, the videos will be created by very simple movie maker app uploaded on the mobile phones and used habitually by the students. In Valencia/Spain products will be :a product of the film of all mobilities and publishing the schools' social media pages and on you tube platform .In Gdansk / Poland products will be : ""The Blue Growth Strategy"" digital book to be created by referring to the European Union Blue growth strategy of which all sub-topics described in the meetings held in all partner cities ."

Diversity is vital as a counterweight against tendencies towards loss of identity and cultural roots in our age of globalization. In today’s expanded Europe, given the increasing ease with where people can cross borders and find work outside their own country, it seems crucial that our pupils are able to tolerate the views of those whose origins and background are different from their own. Valuing and respecting cultural diversity are the keys to countering racism. All individuals must feel free to discover the uniqueness of their culture and identity while developing understandings of the cultural diversity that exists in the world around them. Denying cultural expression means limiting the expression of the unique point of views on life and the transmission of knowledge from generation togeneration. The distrust and fear of difference which often results from isolation from other cultures can be overcome by fostering cultural understanding and by emphasizing the common interests that all Europeans share. Collaborating, We can create a more equal and fairer society that respects and values its diversity. This project is a research into the past of each of the participant countries, through their history, culture, language and customs. The ultimate aim of the project is to discover the links between the different cultures that make up the European Union, compare them and draw conclusions about the differences and similarities that enrich and unite us. As a consequence, the cross-cultural differences actually will come together to find common links and this will be the first step for a better understanding between cultures. We believe that our world's chance is in cultural education for the today students who will be the tomorrow adults. Small steps made by students and their families in some European countries, will lead for sure to a better future for the whole world. The project aims to enhance cultural diversity in Europe and to promote the exchange between different cultural customs present in European societies today. One of the primary motivations behind the project is the strong belief that a higher intercultural competence will make a contribution to a peaceful world. The basics of this project fit with the general framework and principles of the European Union‘s Lisbon Convention and UNESCO's Convention on the protection and promotion of the diversity of cultural expressions (20.10.2005); aims about recognition and promotion of cultural diversity, intercultural dialogue and sustainable development. Our partners represent contrasting social and economic backgrounds and a varied collection of communities from across Europe. By working together to deliver our aims we will be successful in showing our pupils, parents, staff and others, how people from different parts of Europe can work together so as to improve relations and create a more cohesive European citizenship. The target groups include teachers, pupils and their families, local communities, NGOs.The study of Cultural Diversity provides students with opportunities to:• help to promote a positive sense of identity and high self-esteem, together with positive regard for the rights and identities of others• acknowledge that people have different belief systems, values and attitudes that result in different actions and behaviours• appreciate the contributions of diverse groups of people to their community and make a contributionto intercultural understandings by means of participation in appropriate events• develop a sense of shared identity with others, as a member of a community at the local and national levels, in addition to a part of the global society• define and critically analyse narrowly nationalistic or ethnocentric views, developing tolerance of the views and lives of others, and understanding of and empathy for people, regardless of their cultural or ethnic background• develop awareness of similarities and differences of beliefs and practices in diverse cultures, and learn to detect and avoid cultural stereotypes and bias• explore different ways in which media and information and communication technologies can portray a global event or story and how these can affect one’s beliefs and attitudes• acknowledge that increased migration, communication and economic interdependence, blur the boundaries between ethnic and national groupsThe project methodology is based on the concept of interdisciplinary teaching as a means to improve the quality of education. Our project brings basic European values such as human rights, tolerance, solidarity, fight against racism and xenophobia, anti-discrimination, equal opportunities, cultural diversity, equal rights of men and women, integration for those with special needs, the importance of knowledge-based society, the ability of entrepreneurship and innovation etc. closer to participants’ everyday life by promoting dialogues and art activities linked to them.

"The project called ""Who is knocking at my door 2"" is based on close cooperation between schools in Sweden, Italy, Turkey, UK, Belgium and Spain. All countries and schools face the challenge of migration as a daily circumstance and all schools have migrant pupils or pupils out of migrant families. Social inclusion and an increase of tolerance is regarded as an urgent matter and needs to be further and more intensely worked on within all our communities and from a young age.Migration offers many chances and challenges. Little is more extraordinary than the decision to migrate… the accumulation of emotions and thoughts which finally leads a family to say farewell to a community where it has lived for centuries, to abandon old ties and familiar landmarks, and to sail across dark seas to a strange land… Many immigrant have lived through unimaginable drama before and during their journeys.Today, the education system is facing the challenge of dealing with multicultural classes. Therefore schools need methods and tools to educate native pupils to accept newcomers as a resource and not as a problem, and to facilitate the integration of young immigrants starting from early ages overcoming communication and cultural obstacles. Schools should involve the students in a common reflection on how the history of Europe is also the history of immigrants that have been a benefit for the economies of their new countries and how European identity is based on the spreading of rights to all and on the understanding of other cultures. The main aim of this specific project is to promote respect, diversity and the acceptance of ""others"". The project will encourage and teach pupils how to work collaboratively with pupils from other countries in original, innovative ways, to explore the different concepts of civic rights and responsibility with the purpose to learn to uphold the rights and freedoms of individuals and communities and to become aware of a European sense of citizenship and tolerance. And of course, to develop life skills that transcend the remit of the project by engaging in the characteristics that define us. The second aim is re-tracing the history of migratory flows in Europe, exploring the point of view of both those who left a country and also those who saw the arrival of new people from other countries, help European students and teachers understand current immigration related issues better and start a wider reflection on the theme of citizenship and extension of rights. Objectives: ● Develop highly interactive and communicative e-learning contents addressed to Secondary schools which experiment difficulties in dealing with multicultural classes, in order to enhance the capacity of teachers and pupils to view diversity as a resource to learn about different cultures and habits.● How other cultures have left and still leave footprints on our society today, and how this affects our understanding of diversity.● Provide schools with highly interactive and attractive ICT based educational tools to be used in multicultural classes experimenting integration difficulties, to foster dialogue and mutual understanding between pupils with different ethnic backgrounds starting from the knowledge and comprehension of the past experiences of immigrants integration.● Provide European students with a better comprehension of how immigration has been and will therefore be a resource for the European economy. We want to get to know other cultures; not just within Europe, but further afield and to explore the rich history of migration in Europe. That is why pupils will start with working on their countries´ migrant history. ● Each school will research on the history of migration in its home region. ● The status quo of migration in each school´s home region will be examined; types of migrants, reasons for migration, the situation facing migrants. ● To find out whether schoolmates have a migration background, a survey will be done in each school. ● Pupils will interview fellow pupils to find out about their families´ background (action taking/ inquiry based learning). ● Pupils will do documentary work, prepare collages and exhibitions. The results of all the partner schools will be compared at a learning/teaching/training activity. Pupils will learn that not just in their home region migration has taken place and left is cultural traces but all across Europe. ● Then the current legislation on migration within Europe and in the partner schools´ home regions will examined. The situations of legal/illegal immigrants will be examined and contacts to migrants and local authorities and institutions will be established. ● Seminars in the meeting will be put on stage with pupils of the different partner schools standing up for their country´s needs and ideas. ● Pupils functioning as a film team will accompany the project from the very beginning and create a final DVD of the project."

The primary focus of the project titled „EAT BEST–MOVE MOST–DO BEST” is to promote a healthy lifestyle and morephysical activities among children in order to help reduce barriers to learning. The objectives of the project are meetingthe priorities mentioned in Europe 2020 strategy and also strategic aims of Education and Courses 2020, particularydeveloping teacher trainings in the partner countries, transfering and implementing innovative practices and promotingcooperation between school and local authorities. This joint European project has been designed to foster more rational, decisive and conscious pupils to promote a healthy- school concept, to inform and empower families and to improvecross-cultural partnerships in this field. By conducting project activities, we aim to have more pupils firstly, learn abouthealthy eating and physical activity in school which will give them knowledge and skills to make good health decisionsnow and in the future, secondly, eating healthy and staying active in school which will help them feel better, do better insports, concentrate and get better grades and test scores.6 partners will be involved in this project with approximately2000 pupils and about 200 teachers and educators with different experience, knowledge, beliefs, but commoneducational ideals. Our project main target groups are pupils and teachers together with indirect beneficiaries of theproject activities (parents, local officials, teachers from other schools, NGO's as local partners). All schools are publicinstitutions, some of them have long lasting traditions, while others are brand new. We all are very enthusiastic tocooperate in this new Erasmus+ project, aware of the risk of a poor diet and inactivity and want to change ourpupils’eating habits to be healthier European citizens, are open minded to share the learning experience. We are awareboth intangible and tangible results will be reached. We have used eTwinning and Erasmus+ platforms to plan ourproject–our Turkish partner has created the project in the eTwinning platform at the same time we have starteddeveloping this project. We are planning to use all available tools (eTwinning live, Twinspace, Projects, School educationGateway, etc.)during implementation this project as well in follow up and dissemination activities. Combined use ofeTwinning and Erasmus+ will provide a learning framework of free and funded teacher professional development of ourproject and support international learning through integration of national curriculum programmes of study. Our intention is to continue our collaboration two years after the completion of the project through eTwinning projects. We will prepare a dissemination plan which clearly states responsibilities, the dissemination activities, target groups, resources, deadline, indicators of successful dissemination both during and after the project.A dissemination team will be formed in each partner organization according to the dissemination plan. This team will carry out dissemination activities following the work schedule in the dissemination plan. During the partnership, results are disseminated using Google Drive for exchanging ideas/bestpractices/project results among partners. We store there the outputs, documents presented in the trainings and make a resource bank, each partner being authorized to view/edit. Best practices and outcomes will be disseminated on each school’s website, social media and Twinspace.Inside the organization, we intend to disseminate the project results to school community. Outside the organization, the dissemination plan will consider spreading the positive effects of the project to all teachers, experts, leaders and parents of the other schools, local authorities and local NGOs. Each partner will keep regular contact with their own Education Directory, Municipality and outside experts. All will play important roles to disseminate the project's results throughout their countries. Each partner will plan to organize a big 'Closing Event' after the project process has finished. The aim of this Dissemination Event will be both to share the project results and to promote setting the healthy eating habits and physical activity at early ages. Our families will have a good relationship with school and their children. They will realize the importance of the physicalactivities for their children. The families, especially the working mothers and fathers, will realize the importance ofpreparing healthy meals for their children. The teachers will conduct the activities in cooperation with the parentsso their relationship will get stronger. The project will impact on teachers and students (they will be more open to innovations, new changes, eager to work inthe international groups and change their lifestyles), students' parents, local educational government, local primary andsecondary schools, regional, national and European health and environmental organisations.
