"Theoretically, there is no need to explain the state of our environment and the Earth. However, if we touch the practical aspect of everyday choices in a spirit of care and caring for nature and ask about the goals of sustainable development, then the matter becomes more complicated. Observations, analyses and diagnosis of needs show that children do not have developed habits related to ecological attitude. Teachers, on the other hand, have little awareness of working on sustainable development goals. That is why we want our project to respond to the needs arising from a joint diagnosis, first of all, raise children's ecological awareness through local project activities and with international partnership. Five schools from different countries will participate in the project: Poland, Serbia, Spain, Greece and Turkey. We assume that at least 500 people - children, teachers and other kindergarten and school employees as well as representatives of local communities - will be involved in the project activities. The project was prepared on the basis of a thorough diagnosis of needs carried out by all partner countries and based on previous experience acquired during the implementation of eTwinning projects. By participating in it, we will achieve the following goals: 1. Raising ecological awareness of children aged 3-12 through local project activities with international partnership.2. Improving methods of working with a child aged 3-12 in the field of ecological education using ITC techniques and methods ""ASK, COLLECT, VISUALIZE, CREATE, ACT"" by teachers of pre-school and early school education.3. Learning about sustainable development goals during the project according to the Agenda 2030, in particular SDG 6,11,13 by children aged 3-12 to shape habits regarding daily choices and activities.4. Transfer and dissemination of the results of project activities among children aged 3-12 to the community: parents, residents, local school and pre-school communities during the project and after its completion. For 24 months we will systematically work in project teams with children and teachers, performing the tasks provided in the schedule. We will create themed multimedia presentations (e.g. on endangered species of plants or animals), photo albums and videos (e.g. presenting songs on ecological topics), an e-book with a presentation of all SDGs and information brochures. We will participate in ecological, gardening and other workshops. We will visit places related to caring for our local environment, as well as establish cooperation with organizations related to the implementation of SDG. During 5 away meetings related to learning and teaching, teachers learn new work methods, exchange experiences in shaping competences related to nature protection. In addition, they will present the effects of children’s work, get to know each other through activities in international groups, jointly solve problems and develop skills through thematic workshops and meetings with important people (e.g. representatives of local authorities or National Geographic organizations). We will learn to use ITC techniques so that they mobilize children to go outside and take action related to the protection and proper management of the environment around us. We believe that such actions will encourage children to think about their future when making choices today. Thanks to the project, its participants will be more open to the world, its diversity . They will respect other cultures and traditions and take responsibility for local choices and actions that will have an impact on global climate gain. Participation in project activities will broaden the perception of the world - not only the closest environment. In addition, project participants will also improve their competences, especially language and IT skills. After the project, children:- will be more environmentally aware - they will be able to make informed decisions regarding their daily choices; - share their knowledge with other students, parents and the local community; - learn cooperation, including online; The teachers: - there will be exchange of experience in the international field; - the knowledge related to SDG will be deepened and the ability to transfer this knowledge to others through the developed methods will be improvedThe experience gained during the project activities will be transferred to the local and regional environment. The publications prepared for teachers will be the basis for creating innovations and further work in this area. The planned conferences will be an opportunity to promote the results of project activities (publications for parents and children) and to undertake subsequent cooperation in eTwinning projects created on the basis of our experience."

The “Play and Learn… in Nature” Project aims to stimulate the development of children's potential with games and outdoor activities, allowing children to explore their full potential, acquire healthy lifestyle habits and respect Nature. In the official documents issued by the European Union and the UN, recommendations have been made for the child to have the right to a quality education, which guarantees the possibility of developing in all its domains and which promotes the child's respect for the environment, as mentioned in the Convention on the Rights of the Child, adopted by the United Nations General Assembly. These premises are reinforced in the Curricular Guidelines for Pre-School Education (2016), which recommend to educators the importance of a diversified quality learning, centered in different educational contexts, not just based on the activity room, due to the possibility develop various forms of social interaction and contact and exploration of natural materials ”, valuing contact with living beings and other elements of nature, resulting in very stimulating experiences for children, developing“ awareness of the importance of each one's role in preservation of the environment and natural resources. ” In order to further strengthen the importance of nature in the lives of children, we have been sustained by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which we have disseminated in our educational communities, and which, together, we intend to make our contribution. Although we have children who are interested in nature, like to explore, learn about plants and animals, and have, in our schools, the experience of playing outdoors, we realize that there is a need to put in place an action plan that develop environmental awareness in children and their families, As additional objectives we intend: To have more informed, trained and attentive professionals to environmental issues; involve families and local associations in a common focus, valuing learning with environmental practices; encourage staff to improve their English language communication and professional skills; share new methodologies with European partners and create own resources. For that, we brought together schools from Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Poland and Portugal to join forces and complete the project.

“EuroKids 24 News” is an Erasmus + project used to create an international channel news controlled by students from five European schools in France, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania and Spain, where they have created school radios and newspapers to publish reports and news about different topics: everyday life at school, local news, national news and international news, as well as news about other topics, such as climate change, refugees, poverty, etc.Students publish their oral and written piece of news both in each of our native languages, French, Polish, Romanian, Bulgarian and Spanish, but also in the foreign language they are learning, English, so both students and adults from their national countries and other European schools can communicate one with another, access other school's news and share them locally, regionally, national and internationally.Online school radio programs are created through the radio broadcaster www.spreaker.com, so radio shows are both easily available live through the internet or through radio podcast channels (iTunes, iVoox, Spreaker Podcast and Spotify) searching for EuroKids 24 News.Online newspapers are published in each of the national languages of each school partners on each school blog (i.e. EuroKids24Spain.blogspot.com, EuroKids24France.blogspot.com, EuroKids24Poland.blogspot.com, EuroKids24Romania.blogspot.com, and EuroKids24Bulgaria.blogspot.com), but also in English, the international language of communication for teachers and students from the country members, on the international blog (EuroKids24.blogspot.com) Newspaper articles are created by teacher and students through the online platform EditaFacil and published online on Issuu platform and App, where students, teachers and families can read them for free. Individual piece of news created by our school students are also created through the online tool Adobe Spark, and published on our online news channel on our blogs and through our Twitter account #Eurokids24 The main reasons to carry out this project in an international way are: first exchanging experiences about school radio and newspaper with other European schools; second using media to research and exchange cultural facts and information about the countries participating in the project; third, and finally motivating the students to communicate with other students using the foreign language and developing their XXIst century skills: creativity, communication, access to digital media and technology, critical thinking, life skills and collaboration between students and teachers at school and international level. The main methodology principles we have used when working with students in this project are: project based learning, learner centred approach, cooperative and collaborative work and finally integrating new technologies and media in the learning/teaching process.
