<< Objectives >>Relevant EU documents call for improvement of VET, emphasizing the importance of WBL and including the use of digital tools. The general objective of the project is to improve the quality of VET in partner countries. Specific objectives are to improve the cooperation between different VET stakeholders (primarily schools and employers, but also students, VET supporting organisations, etc.), and the pedagogical skills of company mentors to better transfer their knowledge and skills to students.<< Implementation >>The partners will organise a series of thematic meetings and seminars in project countries to bring together VET stakeholders. An e-platform will be designed, developed and implemented as a promotional, educational and communication tool for schools, companies and other relevant VET stakeholders. A special e-logbook and e-portfolio for students will be designed and developed within the platform. Finally, e-learning modules for mentors in companies will be designed, developed and implemented.<< Results >>Partnerships for Quality VET will be formed through Memoranda of Understanding signing. Systematic Guidelines with Good Practices Handbook and educational video will be developed and promoted. The e-platform and e-modules will be successfully implemented in collaboration with target groups. This comprehensive approach will significantly improve cooperation between different stakeholders in VET. Together with the e-modules for mentors, both will contribute to the general objective of the project.

The main aim of this project is to improve the quality of workplace training in the industrial/technical sector within VET in Europe. The Association of Swedish engineering industries has in several reports announced the need for regenerating the work force within the industrial branch. In a couple of years, when lots of workers will retire, there will be a great demand for young workers. Therefore it’s important that VET adjust the training to meet the needs for industry and that the students and apprentices get well prepared for working life with regard to good quality in work practice. This requires good co-operation between schools, training centers, institutions and enterprises. We need to improve the transparency and recognition of qualifications and competences within the industrial trade in Europe. To enhance employability and mobility, networks have to be created and a survey of the industrial and technical sector concerning competences and training has to be made. This project will synchronize the process of work practice between schools and enterprises in Europe to improve the quality of training and to get satisfied trainees. The aim is to improve the whole process of work placement by developing an app for supervisors in enterprises and schools, and by producing updated intercultural guides for students, apprentices and young workers to make them well prepared for participating in mobility programs. The supervising methods and procedures vary too much at the moment and need to be synchronized. Schools and industries in the industrial sector are struggling with the placing process of the student, ie to match the student with an appropriate work placement. The information material accessible from a mobile learning app together with a multilingual e-learning platform with innovative e-learning courses and guides and manuals for validation, certification and accreditation of management of apprenticeships will facilitate the placing of trainees to appropriate work placements. This is in line with the ET 2020 framework and the European Framework for Quality and Effective Apprenticeships and will promote the co-operation between VET and industry across boarders in Europe. The partners of the project, all involved in VET in the technical sector, are carefully chosen in concern of their different competences and experiences of internship to industry. Gothenburg Technical College in Sweden, APRO Formazione in Italy, Atheneum Geraardsbergen in Belgium and Goierri eskola in the basque country of Spain are all collaborating with large companies as Volvo Cars and small/medium size enterprises like Orkly which provide internship for exchange students. Volvo Cars Belgium trains a vast number of apprentices every year. In each of the partner countries a network of schools, companies and branch organizations/ placement organizers will be gathered in referent groups which will be consulted throughout the project. This project will facilitate the placing of trainees to appropriate work placements and will improving the quality of work place training in enterprises in the technical industry branch in Europe.

The whole economy of modern societies rotates directly or indirectly around the STEM disciplines, so it is impossible to find a part of society that somehow does not interact with them: in fact, in its broader definition STEM Education includes the fields of information technology, engineering, earth sciences, science, mathematics, physics, astronomy, chemistry, life sciences.According to EU estimates, employment in the STEM professions is expected to grow nearly twice as fast as the average for other jobs, and it is estimated that by 2025 there will be a shortage of more than half a million workers in the field of Information and Communications Technology (ICT).Furthermore, it should be noted that among the most frequent causes of school dropout there are the failures that students experience in learning mathematical and technological-scientific disciplines; students who leave school prematurely find themselves with low basic skills that affect their employability. In line with the specific objectives of the Erasmus + program, the proposal aims to-promote the acquisition of specific skills and the strengthening of the professional skills of the teachers of the schools directly and indirectly involved in the project-inducing the teachers involved in the attention of the ongoing changes in the STEM sector by promoting the culture of lifelong learning and supporting them in learning through self-empowerment, both content and methodological, which allows them to face the growing diversity of learners and pedagogical innovations-support the development of the basic and transversal skills of the learners of their vocational training, i.e. oriented towards the labour market-support dissemination and systematic actions of open and innovative teaching methods-to stimulate the permeability between different sectors of education and training-improve the quality, innovation and internationalization of school education and training through transnational cooperationDuring the joint training events (Learning/Training/Teaching Activities) the hosting organizations will prepare each one a program on a different activity that involves the use of STEM education, using teaching techniques and methodologies such as flipped classroom, use of ICT useful for integration purposes also in other school disciplines. This training will have an even wider impact than on direct beneficiaries: to benefit from it will be all the staff and the student body of the institutions involved which, hosting the training events, will open the whole institute to the exchange of good practices and a positive contamination among the participants. Furthermore, the parents of the students will also be directly involved in some of the proposed activities. Thanks to the exchanges students will have the opportunity to interact with people and peers of different language and culture, to compare their respective contexts of life in person, in order to:·Take a cue for the subsequent planning activities and be aware of the conditions of planning and urban life·Develop the language skills related to the Italian and French languages, and of the other vehicular language, English, which will be used by students and teachers to communicate·Develop transversal skills, such as the ability to relate and compare in a different cultural and social context, the capacity for dynamism, entrepreneurship and adaptation to various situations, intercultural awareness and European citizenship.

"The supplying of rising needs is just possible with using the improving technology. The improving technology have compelled the European societies to the changing promptly in terms of globalization, digitalization, socio-cultural and economic. While every new changing causes a rising of new industries and occupations, the needs having labour force that has more different skills and competence have risen. The social developments have causes quickly becoming old of the existence qualifications of the individuals, and the needs of renewal of the individuals have brought attendantly. The students have different skills and competence to be able to integrate their knowledge to the complex situations of the real life. Many research have showed that mathematical ideas are quite important to be effective in people's professional career and modern digital world. The researches reveal that the graduated students who have traditional mathematic education teaching mathematical concepts and connection among them couldn't use these knowledge in real time conditions .Therefore, traditional maths education causes learning disability of the students. Also, the learning disability causes the early school leaving. Our purpose with the help project is to integrate to the real life situations with to help of technology of the students maths knowledge. The real life conditions have integrated framework in terms of disciplines. It is impossible to solve the real life problems with only one disciplinary. So, we have to find a new maths teaching and learning method. While we provide the meaningful learning of our students with this method, we will richen the teaching method and techniques of our teachers teaching method and techniques and we intend to use them project-based learning method at least %20 in their classes. The World Economic Forum determined the skills ""complex problem solving"" and ""Coordinated with other "" as primary abilities for 2020. With our stem studying that are repeated regularly during the project will be able to improve coordinated studying skills with other people of students. Our project will take place with 216 people's attendance who are students and teachers. It will consist of boy and girl students whose ages are between 14-19.It will be provided equality of opinions-chances among students .It is essential that at least one maths and ICT teacher participate each training and activity of our project. Our project has consist of dividing more lower segments and with piecing together of these lower segments. These segments are complete in terms of reporting and evaluation in itself.Every evaluation will provide the effect of new ideas to the project in planning of the activity that will be taken place later. Each of stem activity states the segments. The lower segments that are consisted of piecing together of parts have separated each of others with different data structure, technological approach and algorithm. The participants will experience interactive European learning environment to improve their skills. The teachers will prepare stem lesson plans at the end of the trainings .It will be formed a collection including all the materials that will be improved during the project. These will be published related virtual platforms. Teach-meet activities will be arranged to reach new ideas at teacher trainings. We will compose web pages and blogs to improve their set of skills and sufficiencies, to provide getting in touch powerfully based on sharing and to improve communication skills of the participants. We will have provided to be able to evaluate process- driven of the students with becoming widespread in partner schools of alternative measurement and evaluation instruments. It will be given a speech regularly about project training on twitter and followed projects twits with common hashtag.Peer assessment rubrics will be implemented on stem studyings during the whole project and using alternative measurement instruments will be extended during and following the project in partner schools.Stem festivals will be arranged in our schools to exhibit project products every year, and these festivals will reach high level of participants at the end of the project .It will get easy our participants to suit up to the alternation and improvement process with their life long learning skills. In this context, to get data literacy and to increase digital sufficiencies are the most important competences to keep up in competitive economies of the participants. It will develop a common Europeanness aspect with their language improvement and to have intercultural understanding of our participants. We aim to reflect the best implementations, to communicate, to create and introduce new ideas with all kinds of real and social media communities that we want to constitute with the participants in the process and following of the project."
