<< Objectives >>The objective of the project is to produce a European framework in which drop-out can be tackled at an earlier stage. New methods and tools are being sought to identify the risks of dropping out of studies, utilizing e.g. artificial intelligence. In preventing the drop out of studies, emphasis is placed on low-threshold guidance and counseling services, and the possibilities of digitalisation in the provision of these services are being explored.<< Implementation >>The project will be implemented in two phases. In the first phase, the reasons and amounts of dropouts are investigated in order to find ways and means to predict dropouts. The second phase will focus on identifying good practices and developing new types of services in order to address the identified risks of disruption quickly. These steps are described as a frame of reference that brings new insight into early intervention during studies.<< Results >>As a result of the project, action proposals will be created for the organizers of the education, which will emphasize the means of anticipating and preventing the interruption of studies, taking into account the possibilities of digitalisation. This will allow better and faster support to be provided to those students who need it to support their studies and careers. In the long run, faster intervention in the risks of drop out will also improve skills and labor supply in European countries.

<< Background >>All project partner VET institutions as many other VET institutions in EU have similar challenges to reduce a gap between required competences in labour market and education. It means the meaningful and relevant changes in education are urgently needed. Therefore project VET schools together with companies and professional associations will explore what professional, soft and digital skills of VET graduates are necessary in wood processing, metalworking, commerce for labour market and what kind of improvements do VET schools need to implement in order to reach an effective educational process. Therefore sharing examples of good practice in an innovation and expertise in the project will be the main driving force. The following needs for development of teachers and managers are identified at the VET institutions level:1) to explore key competences and skills of students, with particular regard to their relevance for the labour market;2) to exchange with good experience regarding successful pedagogical models and know-how between different VET institutions and companies involved in the project;3) to share with experience of integration of blended teaching/learning, student centered teaching approach, flipped classrooms in the study process;4) to discuss and adapt VET curriculums based on feedback from the labour market (there is a need to make the process of curriculum design and development more evidence-based and systematic);5) to implement augmented reality training (digital solutions) in the vocational education;6) to understand, improve, and share teaching and learning practices across disciplines. Therefore a collaboration, analysis, discussions, exchange of good experiences, recommendations during the short-term joint staff training events of project will improve competences of teachers and managers (leaders) as well implementation of augmented reality in the vocational education will succeed an improvements of educational process and will have positive effect on students’ skills, employability and career development.<< Objectives >>Project objective: to enhance educational process in VET institutions through cooperation and exchange of good practices between project partner-country institutions and companies in the field of VET by increasing their attractiveness, effectiveness and providing future oriented education and training systems. As the landscape of teaching and learning in VET is changing, as well as the skills that the labour market needs, VET teachers and managers need to keep their skills up to date. Therefore five short-term joint staff training events will be organized during the project. The short-term joint staff training events will develop competences of VET teachers and managers in the following areas: curriculums for future competences, blended teaching/learning, flipped classrooms, successful pedagogies/innovative pedagogical models, innovative learning environment including implementation of augmented reality in vocational education, thus, promoting to achieve the project goal: to reach an enhancement of the educational process in involved VET institutions. VET teachers require a mix of pedagogical skills and occupational knowledge and experience, and need to keep these up to date to reflect changing skill needs in the labour market and evolving teaching and learning environments. Therefore organization and implementation of five short-term joint staff training events will be the main drivers to reach the project goal. The involved VET institutions, companies, professional associations will make discussions, analyses, recommendations and exchange of good practices during the training events;2. organization of three transnational project partner meetings in person and five online meetings before each short-term joint staff training event where project partners will discuss the topical issues of the project at the certain period of time to ensure successful project management and implementation;3. collection of good practices and recommendations in the digital report. At the end of every joint staff training event good practices and recommendations will be developed for host VET school relating an enhancement of the educational process; 4. development of the Facebook website for the project. It will include information about the project, involved partner VET schools and will contain exchange of experience and recommendations. It will be available as an open source for society;5. development of the dissemination and communication plan;6. development of the guidelines for the project management;7. collaboration with companies, professional associations;8.the implementation of augmented reality training in a vocational education.<< Results >>During the project we expect the following main outcomes:1) the established network of vocational education connecting training providers, and companies, professional organizations, for capacity – building, sharing experience and know-how among partners. It will promote to attract youth to VET. The implementation of augmented reality training will be more attractive, safer, faster, cheaper, sustainably and it will positively influence countries´ present and future workforce;5) an enhancement of the educational process in the project partner VET institutions. << Objectives >>The aim is to provide teachers with tools, assignments and instruments to better integrate citizenship education into their teaching activities. Teachers will no longer feel that citizenship & SDG is something extra, but that citizenship education is valuable & fun because of our tools, instruments and V-learning modules. In this way, we assume that citizenship & SDG in combination with hybrid learning projectives gets more attention within education. This way impact will be bigger in learning.<< Implementation >>We will set up a framework in which citizenship themes and social aspects are collected. This forms a basis for subsequently designing and collecting tools and materials for teachers and students. Part of the assignments and tools are the V-learning modules which provide a new, more fun and innovative addition to the teaching materials and education. All these assignments, tools and information will be collected on an E-Learning platform hich can be used by every EU citizen. Active piloting<< Results >>Teachers have at least 50 tools/teaching materials and V-Learning modules linked to a framwork and a platform that make citizenship education more fun and easier to teach within VET. Students will be given the right tools to become a practical world citizen and so be ready for the world of tomorrow. The work field will receive a requested practical world citizen in which the graduate is not only good at the profession/skill but also aware of himself, the environment and the world around him.
