"Our priority is- Supporting individuals in acquiring and developing basic skills and key competences. We would like to improve key competences and basic skills for all the participants with conducting LTT activities related with environmental ıssues. It’s been reported by WHO, that 90 percent of world’s populatıon breathe dirty air.2 billion people don’t have access to clean water.According to UN Food and Agricultural Organisation’s report,10 million hectares land is lost to erosion. According to the report published in The Lancet, Pollution kills 3 times more than AIDS, TB and Malarıa combined.Dramatically as we can get from these rates we have to be on alarm. We would like to focus on our natural resources’ pollutıon, their effects and solutıon ways so REACT Project will work on 4 themes; 1 water 2 land 3 air pollution 4 Food and waste. Our target groups are; 15-19 aged students, staff of schools, parents, local authorities, associations/foundations working on environmental problems and the citizens.6 schools from 5 different countries, established this partnership because environmental problems couldn’t be solved by acting alone. It’s an issue that affects us all.So working together is a must to achieve a sustainable life. The methodology we intend to apply in the REACT project is focusing on learning by doing, teamwork, peer to peer and active learning including environmental education. Also, the REACT Project will give a chance to the participants to experience different non formal education tools such as workshops, trainings, conferences, workshops, field trips, presentations, seminars, team works, educational visits, scientific practices.REACT project will take 2 years. 5 LTT activities have been arranged. The REACT Project aims; to make the students enhance their basic skills in science and ICT, to inform students about environmental pollution, to encourage the students to make positive behavioural changes,to learn foreign language, to shape up environmentalist, healty, social, creative and team working individuals. In order to achieve these goals we planned;*For water pollution theme EDUCATIONAL VISIT: to the Wadden Sea to discover our world natural heritage, the ecosytem. WORKSHOP: We will take water samples and measure the plastic content in it.SEMINAR: to get scientific informations about the effects of plastic in water EDUCATIONAL VISIT:The Klimahaus in Bremerhaven to show the complexity of climate *For land pollutİon theme:VISITS TO PROMOTE ZERO-MILE DOMESTIC AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS:•strawberry field • local winery •cheese factory- SEMINAR about why bees and bee pollination are important to the ecosystem and humans FIELD TRIP;to 2 farms in the area with asssistance of environmental enginners-PRACTICAL WORKSHOP;soil samples will be analyzed to see the agricultural chemicals EDUCATIONAL VISIT;to 'Soil-Waste-Disposal Plant' PRESENTATION;introducing the Turkey's first environmentalist.A SEMINAR will be held about erosion and environmental protection* For air pollution theme: SCHOOL VISIT:Visiting lessons, where teachers use STEAM methods SCIENTIFIC PRACTICE:Introduction of the results of cultivation of air microflora in a nutrient medium using Koch's sedimentation method-WORKSHOP: Using applications to raise the awareness about air pollution.EDUCATIONAL VISIT: Tallinn Uni.to learn more about the new technologies using for preveting air pollution.EXCURSION:“Stones, air and water”. Visit to the meteorological station to see the effects of environmental pollution to the nature. EDUCATIONAL VISIT:Visiting a Museum Seaplane Harbour to see the relation between air and sea pollution.*For food and waste theme; preparing ""ZERO WASTE BANQUET"" with unsold food to think about our eating habits EDUCATIONAL VISIT:to"" les alchimiste' waste redistributed in organic farms in order to understand the technical process A CONFERENCE will be held to introduce food production, consumption and treatment.A FIELD TRIP to the island of Porquerolles; a zero waste island.Among the expected results; we hope to promote basic science skills like observing, classifying, predicting, controlling while delivering participants environmental education. The participants will raise their awareness on land, water, air pollution, gain new vocabulary on scientific area. They will improve their artistic skills and also their ICT skills. The participants will gain higher confidence ,team mentality, important life skills, analtical thinking ability. Our LTT activities will lead to trigger, develop and and understand how we can together create, and share without wasting and polluting. The REACT project is open to everyone willing to participate but every school will have 40/32 participants that will be involved in the mobilities.More indirect beneficiaries will take place in the project through the activities and using our digital platforms. We hope that REACT Project will be a step for raising environmental awareness movement."

Context of the project.Since more than twenty years, researchers who have joined the Federal Research Structure specialized in Apprenticeship, Training and Education (SFR-AEF Toulouse Midi-Pyrénées ÉSPÉ / Université Jean Jaurès, bringing together 257 researchers from 20 laboratories, 5 partners and the Rectorate), have been conducting research (in particular) on school refusal, school phobia, school failure, absenteeism, school dropout and quality of life in schools. This research involves thousands of students, their teachers, non-teaching staff in schools, parents, but also people from local authorities and partner associations in schools. The experiments conducted, from kindergarten to high school, are numerous and generally effective.Objectives.In light of the many results obtained previously, the objective of this project is twofold: to produce a database on quality of life in schools and dropping out, as well as to produce software to assist in the diagnosis of pre-drop-out and to improve the quality of school life.Participating organizations.Within the framework of this project, 21 participants benefited from this co-financing by ERASMUS+: Estonia: 1 university, 1 school, 1 college, 1 high school; France: 1 university, 1 foundation, 1 company, 1 school, 2 colleges and 3 high schools; Romania: 2 universities, 3 colleges, 2 high schools. But 35 collaborations have been set up: England (7 institutions); Chile (7); Scotland (2); Canada (4)...Description of the main activities. The design and implementation of the databases (prod. O2) and the software (prod. O1) required a large number of activities, including:- the realization of two specifications (software and EEPLD platform);- the development of data collection tools in the five project languages on a dedicated server;- an illustrated version of data collection for non-readers;- the supply of the platform training module with synchronous and asynchronous training;- research on the management of schools;- a documentary survey module and a communication module;- the development of tools to help identify the factors that influence different types of school drop-outs and those that improve the quality of life in the school environment.- the obligation to produce a thesaurus and a vademecum on good practices in combating early drop out and improving the quality of life in the school environment (for software). Results and impacts achieved. We have far surpassed our objectives and expectations. The productions are in high demand and are the subject of presentations in conferences (dyads field actors & researchers). The CNSECO (Conseil national d'évaluation du système scolaire) indicated in December 2017 that it was important to create software that corresponds to the one we have produced here, we informed this organization and proposed a presentation of all the results of this ERASMUS+ project.Long-term benefits. The major impact obviously concerns the pupils for whom we do everything possible to limit the risks of dropping out and improve their quality of life in the school. Teachers also benefit very directly as we also develop strategies to improve their quality of professional life, such as that of non-teachers. It is undeniable that the students of the participating schools will benefit from the efforts made to motivate them and re-mobilize them if necessary. The Directors of schools and teachers who participate in this project (but also those who will benefit from it later) will benefit from training, better knowledge and awareness of the phenomenon. They will also have tools that do not yet exist, which will be a major asset in managing the establishment. In addition to training, teachers will then have the opportunity to transform their practices and use tools to limit the risks of dropping out and improve the quality of their students' learning.Transnational exchanges have enabled us to share/develop/adapt practices that are rarely disseminated and yet have sometimes surprising results.Let us not forget the parents who benefit directly from this work and who systematically receive a summary document in their original language. For all those who have never had an action-research experience, this new dynamic seems very profitable to us and will certainly engage them in effective future collaborations. The continuity of this project will be ensured by a network and new tools being created.

"This project was born from the gathering of five polyglot schools representative of the diversity of Europe, all of them with experience in conducting European projects and eager to collaborate on the same subject ""living together"". At a time, when Europe is confronted with problems involving its future, where a strong reference structure is needed in the face of global giants, it was important for us to bring together people of good will from same continent with similar but different cultures to address the issue of social inclusion and make it a horizontal priority. The main objective was to raise the awareness of young high school students about the difficulties of living together in all the partner institutions that are similar and complementary but have different backgrounds and audiences. The idea was that everyone can enrich the other through his own experience and the pooling of forces to reduce prejudice in school and to acquire sustainable values that he can transmit himself to build the world of tomorrow with a European citizen conscience based on tolerance, openness to others and favorable to employability. The idea of building a common charter laying the foundations for living together was imposed on everyone. To achieve this, each partner country has decided on the activities to be implemented leading to the identification of specific biases, and in particular that of gender, which has reached consensus. Each one was free of the various means to exploit to remedy it within the framework fixed previously. The meeting times during the learning activities made it possible to take stock of their accuracy, their relevance, to measure their progress and to project themselves. The results achieved are beyond our expectations considering the interest that young people have in this regard. The richness of their productions testifies as well as the progress made in languages, digital, speaking, relational, autonomy and state of mind. Such a journey has significantly changed their behavior, their approach to each other and their worldview.Young people who are involved in this project are now trained: their daily work shows their ability to reuse their knowledge, know-how and skills. They are capable of autonomy, of taking initiatives and even for certain responsibilities. In addition, their relationship to the teacher has changed from a wait-and-see posture to a benevolent horizontal posture. We can only welcome this progress and perhaps to have aroused future careers. For all young people and adults, this project has been punctuated by very beautiful meetings, some of which are in the process of becoming permanent. Moreover, he broke the elitist, confidential and time-consuming image that some could still have. Finally, our schools have gained visibility, recognition and influence in the minds of families, the public, municipal and local authorities. From now on we are solicited for projects with varied subjects allowing a wider opening to society and to the world."

"The aim of this project is to promote the use of classrooms and multimedia in order to develop new pedagogical methodologies and to promote European co-operation between teachers and pupils. The first objective is to increase the skills of teachers and students in the use of new technologies. The second objective is the training of teachers in the scientific aspects of the study of aquatic environments.Taking into account the problems of water pollution of our rivers by local structures (schools, peasant cooperatives, youth associations, neighborhood associations, etc.) is an important aspect of the development of society: Is an immediate problem, about everyone, elementary to understand whatever the level of studies, and which empowers young people called to suffer very quickly from neglect of adults. The sanitary condition of our rivers is too great a subject to leave it to politicians, technicians, and businessmen; to take an interest in it is to act as an active citizen; Is a modest but fundamental advance in democracy. That is why it is so important to show how a number of young people's actions have resulted in recognized successes, suspended administrative decisions or reconsidered the consequences of a policy. The participation of young people, their mobilization and their awareness of sustainable development are therefore at the heart of this project. The failure of the various summits (Copenhagen on climate, ...) underline the gravity of the situation and the urgency of raising awareness. This environmental education project therefore seeks to contribute to the implementation of sustainable solutions to the problems of river ecosystems. In addition to developing technical skills, this project also aims to develop an environmental awareness based on the voluntary and active participation of students ""citizens"" (Social Impact). We have planned seminars for European delegations, meetings with young people in schools and training courses for teachers; The aim is to acquire, with the methods of non-formal education, the knowledge and methods necessary to spread our concerns, denunciations and proposals to young people and the political world, in order to make them aware of the Responsibility for their own choices.Ultimately, it also aims to create a monitoring network through the adoption of a ""flow section"" of rivers by organized local groups. Thanks to an observation methodology that is simple but rigorous, standardized and easy to apply and develop, these groups will be responsible for the monitoring and protection of the watercourse on the selected section, thus contributing to a sustainable improvement of the resources Local and global water resources, as well as the process of rehabilitation of their sections, in particular."
