Dievenishkiu Ryto gymnasium,SPORTNO UCHILISHTE G.S.RAKOVSKI,Szkola Podstawowa im S. F. Klonowicza w Sulmierzycach,Ozel Canik Ugur Anadolu LisesiFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2018-1-PT01-KA229-047425Funder Contribution: 138,924 EURWe created this project for two main reasons: on the one side the idea of making our students feel more involved and interested in their learning process, thus improving their school outcomes and, on the other side, the desire to promote a successful dialogue among people coming from different countries in Europe. We basically have two aims: 1) encourage our students to use computers and other technological devices for study purposes in order to increase their involvement in learning, and consequently their school results; 2) make students aware of what being European means, by exposing them to a multiplicity of ideas, values, principles, etc. as a way be become acquainted with an “united diversity”. The schools that are taking part in this project are:– PT, PL, BG, LT, TR. OBJECTIVES The main objectives of this project are: 1)to boost students' motivation and help them to get better school results. This can prevent early school drop-out and can create a more positive environment where students can thrive. 2)to work on students' soft skills such as ICT, teamwork, decision making, problem solving, flexibility; these skills are very much needed to meet the requirements of firms and employers. 3)to increase students' curiosity about other countries and cultures and help them to accept diversity more easily. It brings a positive attitude that can lead to better understanding the challenges of our new era. 4)To improve communication skills in English; this is a valuable ability, very much wanted both for academic purposes and job roles. 5)to create cohesion among different European countries. This can help to build a true sense of belonging to Europe MAIN ACTIVITIES C1 –TR DIGITAL AGE AND EDUCATION C2 - LT - Topic: Using software to create fun lessons; Customs and traditions C3 - BG - Topic: Using online tools to create quizzes; Maths C4 - PL- Topic: Using online tools to create booktrailers; Literature C5 - PT - Topic: Digital tools for artwork; Religious Studies NUMBER AND PROFILE OF PARTICIPANTS The participants involved in this project will be 13-18 years-old students from each partner school. Some of these students will participate in at least one LTTA and will take part in all the steps of the project; all the other students will be involved in the project activities. Students are from different environments, ethnicities and religions, so that they all can learn from each other working together. Then 36 teachers will lead the students in the project, in particular ICT, Maths and English. METHODOLOGY The project covers the following areas: A1. Project management: each partner is supposed to follow the agreed upon timeline that summarize the activities and fix their duration and deadline. A2.A team of teachers Maths, Literacy, Languages, ITC and administrative staff, with the coordinator of eache school will carry out and monitor the activities, starting with the selection of the students, then organizing preparatory workshop sessions and preparation for LTTA. A3. As ICT is the main tool of the project, ICT sessions will be held, both for teachers and for students before, during and after LTTA. If some partner do not have the necessary knowledge, ICT ”help” sessions can he held via webcam internationally; when possible, students can teach peers both nationally and internationally. A4. Dissemination it will be planned in each partner school towards parents, involving local authorities and all the associations connected with each school; dissemination will be made through medias and internationally with every channel available. Participant students will be included in peer to peer activities to share their new competences and experience, in their school and outside. A5. In each partner school, teachers take advantage of the materials created and of the new methods throughout regular classes. Achievement is evaluated comparing results and motivation attained by other groups of students taught without digital tools. Participants will peer-educate both in and outside the school. RESULTS AND IMPACT Students will increase their knowledge of ICT tools in learning and practical skills such as creating storytrailers, online quizzes, mini-lessons, digital artwork and projects; at the same time they will enhance motivation towards studying and consequently school results, they will experience different cultures, increase adaptability, foster self-confidence and tolerance to the cultural dissimilarities that render Europe so diverse, and unitary nonetheless. Teachers will experience good practices, share teaching methods, compare opinions, problems and solutions and will enhance digital and English communication skills as well as organizational skills. Schools will become more visible and, given the positive coverage in local media thanks to the project activities, will improve their public image, therefore providing better opportunities to the students.

The KA229 school exchange initiative puts five schools from different parts of Europe in contact with each other for a common goal: Knowledge and dissemination of the cultural heritage. The centers involved are the following: ""Georgi Stoikov Rakovski"" sports school in Bulgaria; Group of Escolas de Avis of Portugal; Maglie Comprehensive Institute of Italy; Publiczna Szkola Podstawowa No. 5 of Poland and the Santa Ana School of Spain. These are schools that have pedagogical improvement programs in common through methodological innovation, the use of ICT and the use of integration programs with students at risk of educational exclusion. Likewise, these are municipalities with a school population that ranges from 300 students to 800 students. Moreover, they are public and concerted schools, which gives even more richness to the project. The objectives of the project are focused on the development and promotion of cultural heritage in different environments through technological means. In this way, the aim is to adopt a common European conscience that becomes diversity, both human and cultural, in an integrating and effective way. Another objective, the development of learning through ICT, which is implemented through innovative methodologies and cooperation between students and teachers. The project will be developed through the creation of digital content, which will be disseminated in the form of QR codes, prepared by the students themselves from different training actions - dynamic groups of experts, collaborative routines through digital media ...-. These contents will be present, both in the areas of tourist and cultural interest of the localities, and on the website of the project that will be generated as a common product to the participating centers. Therefore, it is about establishing linkages between schools and other entities that also impact on the improvement of the environment in which they live. Students, once the content has been prepared, will publicize their work through different means of communication, such as in-person dissemination sessions, activities in real learning environments -such as participation in public events -... In the realization of the project students from ages 11 to 15 are involved and the actions described will be part of the permanent projects of the educational project of the different schools, and it will shape a future plan of cultural and tourist promotion in the different locations ."

They pass transnational trainings for FELLOWSHIP promotion and management, and work for 12 months on promotion, management and implementation and evaluation with both key mentors of the project, stakeholders and the fellows themselves. In the process they improve project management, networking, training skills and intercultural capacity. They work on both local assignments and this transnational project as each fellow promoter communicates with at least 150 external SCOs, experts, stakeholders and policymakers. They design programs, evaluate fellows, support fellows projects, support project partners in organisation of fellows selection and the TEST events YOUTH academies for youth workers and for youth leaders. They volunteer and train in the VIRTUAL support centre or promote the project, support project partners for local promotion events. This fellowship thus accelerates youth SCO managers’ capacity to manage and promote youth projects and engages them in active interaction with most motivated youth leaders and workers during the project. Second type of fellowships /based on 12 joint programes/ aims at the brightest and most motivated youth workers and youth leaders – 200 at least from the 6 countries. It is highly competitive and has: 1 kick off, interim and on-line 6 month training module, followed by 6 month job shadowing from lead experts of all project partners. BOTH TYPES of fellowships are merit based, all fellows are challenged to promote their job and results, and only the most motivated and successful gain access to second training rounds. The YOUTHWORK ACADEMY events are in fact large scale, highly interactive forums for exchange of best practices for youth work among the most motivated youth workers from each country and also platform where each FELLOW has place to present projects, ideas and vision for the future of their youth projects. Each project second exchange /training course is for the best, on-line nominated fellows which stimulates them to use ICT and social media promotion skills so as not only to share the challenges met but also the local project designed, the impact of local youth. Our Fellows are thus motivated to show the best in their work, and inspire more young people to participate in local life, or youth workers to pursue the E+ opportunities for training, mobility and study abroad. BOTH FELLOWSHIPs train and involve Fellows in interactions and debates with experts from SCOs and public bodies from consortium, but also in interaction with local SCOs, stakeholders and policymakers from the 6 countries. In addition Partner search group and individual network sessions are provided by the VIRTUAL support tool. The project is co-manages, shared is responsibility not only among the partners but also among the key project and mentorship
