<< Objectives >>The purpose of 'Enhancing Wellbeing Through Beauty Care' is to develop a specialized accredited course that equips hair and beauty professionals with refined skills as a means of caring for their clients in a holistic manner .The project aims at upskilling these professionals' through the development of a course programme that enable these professionals to effectively communicate their concerns in a professional and emphatic manner when identifying symptoms that may lead to more complex issues.<< Implementation >>The project will focus on developing course curriculum, informed by research, that will target hair and beauty professionals. The training programme will involve hair and beauty professions and will aid them to enhance their soft helping skills. Apart from the training programme for these professionals, a train-the-trainer programme will also take place as one needs skilled teachers to teach the said course.<< Results >>To have well informed hair and beauty professionals, that are equipped with refined helping skills as a means of caring for their clients in a holistic manner, as well as to feel empowered to turn their salons into safe spaces for their clients.
