Ankara Governorship,Institut de Haute Formation aux Politiques Communautaires asblFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2020-1-TR01-KA204-094676Funder Contribution: 75,540 EUR"It is critical to get family support for people with disabilities to participate in social life. In order for individuals with severe physical / mental disabilities to exist in social life, their families need to be conscious because they need knowledge to be aware of some legal priorities due to disadvantages. In addition, it is known that families with disabilities who have problem solving skills carry disabled individuals to higher social standards. However, given the rationale and needs in this respect, there is not yet a training on the rights-based daily life practices of the project partners in their countries for such families. Daily life practices can be improved by writing a petition within the framework of the rights of the disabled and sometimes gaining the ability to communicate with authorized institutions that can solve their social problems. The main objective of the project is “to provide parental advocacy in daily life practices by transformative androgogical methods for the families of disabled”. The sub-objectives for this main objective are as follows:1) Families of disabled will identify the problems they face together and address the problems with a collective approach,2) Establishing a “right-based daily life practices” course module (Advocacy Course Module) for families of disabled,3) Making pilot applications embedded in daily life practices of course modules,4) Conducting social visibility studies with the participation of disabled people, their families, adult educators and city residents.5) Preparing an educational / guidance program for families of disabled and developing sustainable strategies. There are many families of disabled who need information, within the scope of the services to be provided to the public within the project. In particular, since course modules and pilot applications will require a limited participant, each partner is asked to reach 50 adult learners that can represent many families of severe mentally/physically disabled people . Volunteering is essential in participating in project activities.Project Activities (At Local Level)A1: Free Speech Meetings with Families of DisabledA2: Rights-Based Daily Life PracticesA3: Social Visibility ActivitiesA4: Meetings for Policy Recommendations.Transnational Project Meetings1)Elephant In The Room: KICK OFF FOR THE TRANSFORMATIVEMeeting Place: Ankara / Turkey2) Androgogical Steps: ""KNOW HOW"" MEETINGMeeting Place: Brusselles / Belgium3) No Stone Unturned: ""Detailed Analysis"" MeetingMeeting Place: Naples/ItalyIntellectual Outputs1)Analyse The Case2)Advocacy Course Module3)Cultural and Artistic Activites4)Policy RecommendationsExpected Results:1) During the project, families are expected to have “rights advocate” qualities for the disabled. However, providing a learning environment in which they can express their problems is the most important expected result regarding the first sub-objective of the problem. Thus, adults who define their problems and can create common meaning charts and they will create the opportunity to express themselves and to be positioned as subjects at the beginning of a learning process.2) In the process of applying transformative learning modules, families are expected to develop an innovative and creative perspective in bringing disabled people to the society. It is not just transformative; A learner-oriented approach will be adapted for families that are expected to have a leading position.3) Life practices in adult education are of great importance for the desire to apply new things learned by adults. Families of the disabled also tend to exchange ideas on concrete and realistic issues they can apply in daily life.4) Individuals with disabilities and their families, social participation is not only through applied education modules; It will also experience with social visibility studies (flash mob in urban spaces, social experiment videos with positive attitude, displaying posters, cultural / artistic activities with the leadership of the disabled ones and their families).5) The main target as a result is sustainability at the end of all educational modules, pilot studies and visibility activities. At the end of the project, a family education program will be prepared to be provided to policy makers in order to raise awareness of disability rights and turn them into action in defending these rights. This program, which will be created within the framework of transformative androgogical methods, will be associated with social participation and will be both a social policy and an educational strategy document. With its innovative structure of transformative learning theory that requires updating, this educational program will be an important step in reaching the families of many disabled people in the long run, so that ""no individual will be left behind""."

For further information contact us at helpdesk@openaire.euassignment_turned_in ProjectPartners:University Federico II of Naples, Institut de Haute Formation aux Politiques Communautaires asbl, FUNDACIÓN DIOCESANA DE ENSEÑANZA SANTOS MÁRTIRES DE CÓRDOBA, UCYUniversity Federico II of Naples,Institut de Haute Formation aux Politiques Communautaires asbl,FUNDACIÓN DIOCESANA DE ENSEÑANZA SANTOS MÁRTIRES DE CÓRDOBA,UCYFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2021-1-ES01-KA220-HED-000031153Funder Contribution: 220,430 EUR"<< Background >>THE INCLUSION OF GIRLS AND TEENAGERS IN SPORTS EDUCATION needs a boost in terms of promoting their equitable inclusion. It has been detected that the female gender is an underrepresented group in society in sports, among others. Girls and teenagers present less attractive offers based on their tastes and interests, which is why the abandonment of physical-sport activities in this population group is more frequent. As evidence of this, the World Health Organization (WHO) in one of its studies in 2019 affirms that “only 23.8% of adolescent women (between 12 and 25 years old) meet the minimum requirements of physical activity and whose difference with men has been increasing in recent years ”. Once this problem has been detected, from GIRLS TEAM UP !, we consider it possible to address these needs through this project, which aims to BRING THE FEMALE GENDER TO AN EQUAL SITUATION WITH REGARD TO THE MALE IN SPORTS MATTERS. For this, it is necessary to ANALYZE where the obstacles are in the teaching of BASE SPORTS EDUCATION and how it evolves during subsequent periods. One of the main objectives of GTUp! is TO CREATE ADHERENCE TO SPORTS PRACTICE AT EARLY AGES. This issue fits perfectly with our selected horizontal priority: INCLUSION AND DIVERSITY IN ALL AREAS OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, YOUTH AND SPORTS. How can we achieve it? At GIRLS TEAM UP !, we consider it essential to PROMOTE INNOVATIVE TEACHING METHODOLOGIES, SPECIFIC TRAINING FOR TEACHERS AND FUTURE EDUCATIONAL AGENTS IN FORMAL AND NON-FORMAL EDUCATION and, in addition, to develop new digital tools that facilitate the coordination and achievement of inclusion objectives to through a more COMPREHENSIVE AND SUSTAINABLE approach. Also, GTUp! is also addressed to HEADS OF EDUCATIONAL CENTERS AND SPORTS CLUBS to help them identify the gaps and weaknesses of their educational plans and prepare them to face the necessary challenges in an INCLUSIVE AND QUALITY SPORTS TRAINING FOR THEIR STUDENTS. This way of addressing the detected need positions us in favor of APPROACHING DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF DIGITAL PREPARATION, RESILIENCE AND CAPACITY, another of our priorities selected to carry out our project. The INCLUSION of girls and young people in SPORTS EDUCATION needs greater visibility, betting firmly on the PROMOTION AND PARTICIPATION OF FEMALE SPORTS so that, as they grow and advance in the different stages of their development, the ABANDONMENT OF SPORTS PRACTICE can be MINIMIZED, because the percentage is very high after 12 years of age.<< Objectives >>The aims and objectives of the GIRLS TEAM UP! (GTUp!), are closely linked with the HORIZONTAL AND SECTORAL PRIORITIES in the field of HIGHER EDUCATION, specifically with the following: HORIZONTAL PRIORITY 1INCLUSION AND DIVERSITY IN ALL AREAS OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, YOUTH AND SPORTS. HORIZONTAL PRIORITY 2ADDRESSING DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF DIGITAL READINESS, RESILIENCE AND CAPACITY. SECTOR PRIORITY 1STIMULATE INNOVATIVE LEARNING AND TEACHING PRACTICES. SECTOR PRIORITY 2REWARD EXCELLENCE IN LEARNING, TEACHING AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT. SECTOR PRIORITY 3CREATE INCLUSIVE HIGHER EDUCATION SYSTEMS. SECTOR PRIORITY 4SUPPORT THE DIGITAL CAPABILITIES OF THE HIGHER EDUCATION SECTOR. The horizontal and sectoral priorities mentioned will be very present in our GTUp! project since we intend through DIGITALIZATION to promote the INCLUSION of the female gender in the SPORTS FIELD. In recent years, female sport has been having a greater impact in terms of DIFFUSION AND VISIBILITY than was usual, but the data on participation in sports in girls and adolescents does not seem to be altering. The GTUp! echoes this need and aims at INCLUSION AND DIVERSITY IN ALL AREAS OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, YOUTH AND SPORT, specifically, through this last area is where the central part of our project is framed, establishing an interconnection through different tools and digital resources between FORMAL EDUCATION and NON-FORMAL EDUCATION, involving teaching staff and non-teaching staff to become agents that facilitate and promote physical-sports activity in school and outside it. To promote the inclusion of girls and adolescents in sports, thanks to the creation of new tools, interactive resources and digital content, we will be working fully on APPROACHING DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF PREPARATION, RESILIENCE AND DIGITAL CAPABILITIES .. Without this TRANSFORMATION OR DIGITAL CAPACITY, it would be unthinkable to be able to work in the same methodological line with different universities, clubs and associations at the EUROPEAN LEVEL with the aim of THE INCLUSION OF GIRLS IN SPORT EDUCATION. Therefore, once the priorities that our project includes as well as the needs detected to address it have been specified, the objectives that we want to meet with its development are the following: Offer improvement strategies in school physical education in the female sphere. Develop learning practices and innovative teachings related to the motivation and permanence of girls in sport. Promote inclusion in educational systems by improving the teaching profile of educational agents in both formal and non-formal education. Influence the promotion of role-models of female athletes as a tool for empowering girls from their first contact with school sports.Improve teacher coordination as a strategy to offer a more effective, equitable and sustainable sports education.<< Implementation >>The programmed activities are varied and organized according to the previously mentioned objectives and priorities of the project. They are as follows: 1. Web GIRLS TEAM UP!Which will consist of the following areas: - Private area for coordinators and work teams: Information on DATES, PLACES AND MEETING MINUTES WITH AGREEMENTS AND IMPROVEMENT PROPOSALS agreed in the different meetings and meetings that will take place throughout the project. - Public area: MULTIMEDIA MATERIAL informative of all the activities carried out, updated links of the materials and articles, minutes of the conferences and international congress. It will include links to the different multiplier events for the online registration of participants. The web will be a FUNDAMENTAL ELEMENT OF DISSEMINATION. In addition, it will show all the phases of the project: preparation, development and subsequent activities. In this way, the progress of the project will be recorded in detail and its results will be permanently available, guaranteeing the sustainability of its impact and the dissemination of what has been obtained. 2. YOUCAN, an INTERACTIVE GAME in which the athletes will be able to improve their physical, technical and tactical skills in different sports modalities. In addition, they will be able to count on different educational pills related to theoretical aspects of the sport that they select, as well as advice related to the PROMOTION OF HEALTHY LIVING HABITS. 5. LINKED APP, essential to face one of the most critical problems in the process of monitoring the obstacles to effective female inclusion in sports education. This tool will allow EARLY DETECTING, EVALUATING AND RESPONDING TO CASES OF DISCOORDINATION between the different sports agents in their group or individual attention to female students and athletes in formal and non-formal settings. With activities 2, 3, 4 and 5 we clearly face the objectives of the project in the attention and proposals to the target groups: educational agents and management teams or sports managers. 6. MS 1 ""GIRLS MAKE IT HAPPEN"". CONGRESS ON INCLUSION IN SPORTS EDUCATION IN SCHOOL AGES: GIRLS AND ADOLESCENTS. 7. EM2 “FAIR PLAY IS A GIRLS´ GAME”. CONFERENCE ON NEW METHODOLOGIES, GAMIFICATION AND SPORTS. 8. EM3 “MOBILE SPORT”. CONFERENCE ON TECHNOLOGY AND SPORTS. The educational and informative nature of these activities (6, 7 and 8) for teachers and future teachers, sports coaches and monitors, management teams and managers of sports activities in the private and public sphere, academics and researchers, educational and sports authorities is basic in this project. A special effort will be made in the quality of these MULTIPLIER EVENTS as a key to transmitting the results obtained, disseminating the conclusions and favoring channels for the introduction of IMPROVEMENTS ON THE INCLUSION OF GIRLS AND ADOLESCENTS IN FORMAL AND NON-FORMAL EDUCATIONAL EDUCATION.<< Results >>GIRLS TEAM UP! Project aims to transform the reality of SPORTS EDUCATION in the feminine sphere, without being exclusive to the masculine, due to the different EXPECTED RESULTS AND MULTIPLIER EVENTS that will take place from its approval until its completion, also counting on the SUSTAINABILITY of its results due to its durability over time. Through the results of the project, it is intended to reach more than 800 educational agents and more than 10,000 students and athletes, which will place us in a very advantageous scenario when drawing significant conclusions about our fundamental horizontal priority characterized by INCLUSION AND DIVERSITY IN ALL AREAS OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, YOUTH AND SPORTS. This scope would not be possible without our project partners, since thanks to them we will be able to increase the sample in the different fields of the EDUCATIONAL SECTOR, as well as the provision of scientific rigor in the expected results of our project. GTUp! will include in your project the following EXPECTED RESULTS: 1. SCHOOL FIT: This digital tool will allow educational centers, especially MANAGEMENT TEAMS, and sports clubs, specifically their DIRECTORS, to locate themselves and know their starting point through a DIAGNOSTIC SELF-ASSESSMENT. That is, thanks to an application they will be able to know how inclusive their centers / clubs are at a sporting level. In addition, depending on the results obtained, they will be able to have expert advice on how to advance in those aspects that can be improved in terms of INCLUSION OF FEMALE SPORTS. 2. MOVE IT PLATFORM: It is a digital platform aimed fundamentally at PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHERS IN PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOL, although it may also be used by students of TEACHING AND SCIENCE OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND SPORTS, as well as TRAINING students SUPERIOR PROFESSIONAL related to the sports field. In this platform you can find different resources, innovative methodologies, attractive content and even innovative evaluation systems useful for both FORMAL EDUCATION and NON-FORMAL EDUCATION. 3. YOUCAN: It will be our INTERACTIVE GAME, and it will be aimed primarily at the STUDENTS AND ATHLETES that our project reaches.
