The project was born because the partners wished all to imply their establishments in an approach of European opening for their pupils. A first attempt of project between Spain and France had beenpresented few years ago. We all have around our establishments a monument and a local history. It is from these tracks of our heritage, that we are going to connect all the partners through Europe.Whether it is the architectural heritage, but also the cultural heritage, it will be the electrical wire of our project which will take place on the coming two years in our establishments. We have different publics in our establishments, whether it is those who have difficulty reaching the culture, those who never travel except within our region. But also those who have difficulties to givemeaning to their studies. This project into which they can bring a lot, will help them to awaken their curiosity and to get involved in a working approach beyond the traditional teachings and beyond ourborders. This project, of which the roots fit in with the context of the heritage, will imply various adults in our establishments. It will be the opportunity for teachers from multiple countries, with differentschool systems, to exchange on didactic and educational practices. The theme will give the possibility for teachers of various subjects to get involved into the highly-rated staff of otherestablishments. It would imply about fifteen adults by establishments and about fifty pupils by establishment. The pupils' objectives are to improve their language skills and knowledge and todevelop an European citizen culture. Meanwhile, the adults' objectives are to work with others on a project, to meet colleagues for working on common strategies to develop educational practices. Finally we have to think about the method to set up, so that the project can adapt itself to the pupils.Middle school would be more attractive, in particular for those who do not want to go there. This project will lean on the technologies of communication. On one hand, it will begin with a meeting time between the various coordinators in France to get to know each other in a way to work togetheron the works planning. In order to organize precisely and efficiently the two years coming. Another meeting in the middle of the two years will allow to review the project. A last meeting will enable tomake an assessment and to consider carry on together on a new project. On the other hand, three meetings between pupils will be programmed to share the works realized in each country. It will bethe chance to work together on the work of art, which will stay in our middle schools, and to work on monuments, tales and customs of our regions. These times will be completed by visits of the chosenmonuments.

"This project was born from the gathering of five polyglot schools representative of the diversity of Europe, all of them with experience in conducting European projects and eager to collaborate on the same subject ""living together"". At a time, when Europe is confronted with problems involving its future, where a strong reference structure is needed in the face of global giants, it was important for us to bring together people of good will from same continent with similar but different cultures to address the issue of social inclusion and make it a horizontal priority. The main objective was to raise the awareness of young high school students about the difficulties of living together in all the partner institutions that are similar and complementary but have different backgrounds and audiences. The idea was that everyone can enrich the other through his own experience and the pooling of forces to reduce prejudice in school and to acquire sustainable values that he can transmit himself to build the world of tomorrow with a European citizen conscience based on tolerance, openness to others and favorable to employability. The idea of building a common charter laying the foundations for living together was imposed on everyone. To achieve this, each partner country has decided on the activities to be implemented leading to the identification of specific biases, and in particular that of gender, which has reached consensus. Each one was free of the various means to exploit to remedy it within the framework fixed previously. The meeting times during the learning activities made it possible to take stock of their accuracy, their relevance, to measure their progress and to project themselves. The results achieved are beyond our expectations considering the interest that young people have in this regard. The richness of their productions testifies as well as the progress made in languages, digital, speaking, relational, autonomy and state of mind. Such a journey has significantly changed their behavior, their approach to each other and their worldview.Young people who are involved in this project are now trained: their daily work shows their ability to reuse their knowledge, know-how and skills. They are capable of autonomy, of taking initiatives and even for certain responsibilities. In addition, their relationship to the teacher has changed from a wait-and-see posture to a benevolent horizontal posture. We can only welcome this progress and perhaps to have aroused future careers. For all young people and adults, this project has been punctuated by very beautiful meetings, some of which are in the process of becoming permanent. Moreover, he broke the elitist, confidential and time-consuming image that some could still have. Finally, our schools have gained visibility, recognition and influence in the minds of families, the public, municipal and local authorities. From now on we are solicited for projects with varied subjects allowing a wider opening to society and to the world."

"The schools which take part in the project ""The Traces of Other Cultures"" have been engaged in the variety of local, national and European events. All the partners pay attention to education, developing proper social attitudes, growing key competence among the young learners. The reason to apply for KA229 was the further continuation of improvement in the mentioned above fields as well asorganizational skills. The main goal of our project is increasing of tolerance among the students aged 14-16 towards cultural diversity throughout the project, making them aware of social and educational value of the European cultural inheritance and have a tolerant attituge towards different culturest hrough the searching of the influence of other cultures in history, peoples’ lives, contemporary lives of the citizens of our cities and regions as well as opening the schools into international cooperation with schools from diffrent countries. Creating our project “The Traces of Other Cultures” we also thought about improvement and implementation of modern teaching and learning methods using ICT and English language, which will be the tool of communication. The participating students will be girls and boys aged 14-16, the same number of each sex if possible. The teachers speak foreign languages , they are engaged in searching new educational insirations. In each mobility there will be 8 students and 3 teachers. The participants of the project will have to find the traces of other cultures in the places of their living (e.g. buildings, placesconnected with religion, restaurants, signs, symbols, cultural centres), prepare presentations, film sand outdoor games using ICT in English, make relationships with ethnic minorities, which will lead to create an attitude of tolerance.Taking part in such activities will help the students to develop proper attitude towards people who are of different culture and background. The students will search for information in an active, practical way, select it, and in the end present it to others, who will also gain some knowledge. The project will strengthen the teachers’ authority, which in further consequences will help the students to achieve success and develop prestige of the schools in local areas. The teachers engaged in the project will improve their language skills, will become more advanced in terms of schools' cooperation thanks to the usage of etwinning and become more aware of cultural diversity in their regions. As a result they will get better competence in the process of teaching and they will exchange good practices among themselves. Thanks to that there will be some innovations in the schools. The teachers and the students will make relationships, which can help them in the future, in furthe rcooperation, perhaps in looking for jobs. The methods through which the aims are going to be achieved such as outdoor game, mobilities, using modern ICT and English are highly motivating for the students as well as attractive. We believe that they will help the students to acquire knowledge and proper attitude towards people of different cultural backgrounds that they are themselves."
