The grandchild and child generally bring a projection into the future, reopening and filling the space for play and fantasy. The grandchild distances loneliness, isolation, the spectre of decline, of emotional impoverishment; he stimulates interaction, creativity, the activation of potential and memories, to feel or 'return' younger, to rediscover moments of authentic joviality and light-heartedness. Grandparents, in turn, can be an important resource in terms of organisational, relational, affective, creative for both young couples and grandchildren.Becoming grandparents allows to develop and consolidate the educational and affective experience, to deal with the enthusiasm, the vivacity, sometimes explosive, of the grandchildren, to rediscover the pleasure and sense of a positive, constructive relationship, to continue to express creativity through play (Cesa-Bianchi G. et al., 2006).All this, especially during the social isolation and the daily reorganisation due to the health emergency, meant having to leverage personal resources that could not always be stimulated alone. And this emerged in all European contexts. The elderly, grandparents, like many adults, had to reorganise their daily lives and this was not easy for anyone. Many families had to deal with a new, quite complicated daily routine, also in the management of time and relationship with other reference adults, such as grandparents, who for many families represent an important support. Just as for grandparents, time and relationship with grandchildren has always been a valid input to stimulate active ageing. In all European and EU contexts, closure and forced distance have led to the use of creativity and professionalism in order not to break the link with grandparents and their relatives, sometimes at a distance through the use of technologies. The project aims at enhancing active ageing and supporting the development of educational competencies in adults, involving them in innovative non-formal learning paths to stimulate their creativity, their lateral thinking, to support the relationship with their grandchildren and the new generations, it is the ultimate goal of the project, which looks at creativity as a skill that can maintain, even in times of health crisis, an effective relationship at a distance.Writing, reading, cooking, painting, watching films, shared reading, and much more can support the relationship even at a distance and make them participate in the life and education of their grandchildren and promote active ageing.<< Objectives >>- experimenting training paths with grandparents to make them fully aware and capable in their educational role;- experiment, in small communities, the possibility that some of the trained grandparents can support families even if they are not members of the household;- ""certify"" the educational skills of grandparents in support of single parents, families in economic difficulties and childcare centres, trying to give active roles in society to adult retired and grandparents in general.- promote self-aggregation and peer tutoring among grandparents.- to improve the capacities of partner institutions and their operators to support training interventions with grandparents.- strengthen the educational skills of adults over 65 and in any case adult grandparents- strengthen the skills of educators in working with and enhancing the resources of grandparents in terms of caregivers- stimulate a stable adult-child relationship;- promoting active ageing of the elderly.<< Implementation >>An analysis of good practices: a study of the most recent practices implemented in Europe and in particular in the countries involved in order to be able to identify practices and recommendations to be implemented in the future and to be able to assess the socio-economic impact on the community and family, in the involvement of grandparents in caring activities. In particular, the result intends to focus on the experiences during the health emergency in order to identify also the factors that promote resilience. Furthermore, the role of creative competence in the management of daily life and in the care and nursing of children is investigated. The research is mainly based on the use of qualitative methods (case studies, surveys, semi-structured interviews and focus groups) and, from a comparative perspective, will analyse practices and policies that can be undertaken to respond to educational needs. The creation of educational and training material for grandparents, including exercises, tools, activities, to be used during the time spent with grandchildren/children. The material will be available online via an e-learning platform.A toolkit for educators who promote grandparent education: ideas, tools and indications to organise training sessions (based on result n.2) and operational indications to promote grandparent self-gathering. Specific aspects related to peer tutoring and peer education among grandparents will also be explored. A 5-day European training for operators who will subsequently organise a local experiment with grandparents. An experimentation of about 5 months on the use of the results by a group of 150 grandparents for which an illustrated storybook will be produced containing true stories of resilient grandparents, with activities, topics and practical cards to be experimented with their own grandchildren (0-6 years), as well as indications for grandchildren 6-12.<< Results >>The main results that will be achieved through the implementation of the GREAT project concern the improvement of grandparents' skills and in particular the level of grandparents' confidence in their care and grandparenting skills in general and the improvement of their creative capacity in their relationship with children. This is achieved through the design and implementation of training tools and paths guiding them in paths updated to the educational needs of 2021 and the new decade, using different teaching methodologies, including learning by doing and experiential training. The project will also make it possible, in small communities, to activate processes of active participation by grandparents for self-training and to activate self-organisation of paths through peer education. Grandparents will not only be able to support their grandchildren, but will also be able to become reference educators in non-formal contexts for children who do not have grandparents or who live in families in difficulty due to work or economic commitments, or who live temporarily in reception centres (e.g. unaccompanied foreign minors, orphans, etc.). Specifically, the result will be a training course with video lessons and interactive resources, training toolkits, tools, guidelines to develop one's creativity and organise activities, also at a distance, with the children. In terms of outputs, the project foresees the realisation of:- analysis of European good practices for adult education of grandparents: practices and recommendations, with video interviews and stories of experiences of creative resilience;- a training course on creative educational skills: being a grandparent 2020 also at the time of Covid, and at distance.- interactive training paths, also supported by innovative virtual reality content, which will enhance and train the skills of the adults involved;- Integration in the training pathway of a self-analysis tool of one's educational model and approach and skills- an exercise book- a book with stories and worksheets- a collection of stories of resilient grandparents enhancing their role- Creation of video documentaries in the dissemination activity carried out with the participating adults: during the individual training and growth process, the main phases of grandparent participation will be reported and recorded, aimed at encouraging the involvement and participation of new grandparents in the use of the tools and paths designed.- Realisation of 4 Multiplier Events with high impact and dissemination, which will involve specific and relevant stakeholders for full project implementation.- 1 toolkit for adult educators to activate training paths with grandparents and to promote self-education, self-aggregation and active citizenship of grandparents in local contexts."

In the needs analysis phase implemented thanks to the CHILD.FOR.CHILD project coordinated by the 3P Cooperative and funded by the EU REC program, the implementation of a guide figure and support to the autonomy of the young people who, after having lived part of their adolescence in reception facilities or foster families, they find themselves having to face entry into adult life ""alone"" and most of the time without the tools necessary to cope with these new changes. This even more if we consider that in Italy, the boys who live within their families of origin, at the age of eighteen, are certainly not ready for an independent life. For this reason it is important to train professionals to guide young people on a path of autonomy, resilience and empowermnent, which starts from their entry into the reception structures or foster family, and continues even after their exit, as points of reference for the guys out who don't have a family that can support them or that isn't adequate for that. The project involves the construction of 5 Intellectual Outputs:IO1: literature review of the models applied to the autonomy pathways in residential care for minors outside the familyIO2: Comparative study and analysis of intervention models for the promotion of careleavers autonomy.IO3: creation of a tool that allows the analysis of the history and models of autonomy of the children received in the community and to identify protective and risk factors, in order to elaborate a personalized autonomy project.IO4: Implementation of a toolkit for the construction of pathways of autonomy resilience and empowermentIO5: Joint curriculum for the training of an expert on the subject of promoting autonomyFollowing are the expected results:1. Training specific figures for the implementation of individualized autonomy paths of minors in communities / careleavers2. Increase awareness of the phenomenon3. Raising awareness of the governance for the implementation of policies aimed at careleavers and focusing above all on paths of autonomy4. Implement operational tools for the implementation of training courses and their evaluation5. Acquisition of new skills6. Joint curriculum thanks to the implementation of an intensive study program (ISP)for careleavers:7. Greater social inclusion8. Decreased deviance and / or alcohol and substance abuse9. Increased the possibility for the new adult to undertake more lasting training courses10. Increased the possibility for the new age to enter the world of work3 Multiplier Events will also be realized for the dissemination of the results achieved: the first in Spain, the second in Romania, the third in ItalyThe CARE project participants are distributed as follows:1. researchers and specialized operators, as regards the study and implementation of the first intellectual output-302. University professors and trainers regarding the structuring of the training modules and their implementation-103. Political administrators, managers and managers of social services, reception and protection of minors, referents of guidance and employment centers, managers of residential structures, educators of residential units, judges of the juvenile court, foster families who in how much stakeholder will be involved in the various project phases, higher education teachers-3004. Students and graduates from the universities involved (attending the short cycle, first, second or third cycle), and graduate professionals working at the involved partners and / or in other reception facilities. In the latter case, they must have a degree in one of the disciplines such as psychology, pedagogy, educational sciences-2005. The partnership is made up of 3 Universities and 3 non-profit organizations active in the refugee sector, engaged in a 36-month project for the creation of various innovative learning tools, aimed at updating university students' careers through the implementation of a Joint Curriculum entitled ""Intercultural skills for future specialist dealing with refugees"". Moreover transversally, a profit organization located in Romania has been involved in the project actions, assisting thanks to the experience gained in the organization and management of training sessions, in particular, addressed to vulnerable or at risk subjects, effectively supporting all the project actions. The choice of this partnership was made on the basis of the emergency perceived by the population and by the social workers who are currently working on in first line for the management of what has been called a ""migrant emergency"": the project has been conducted and managed in a complex historical period, which has undergone changes between 2016 and 2019.The main objective of the PARIS project is to contribute through its actions to provide innovative educational tools, to enhance the use of these methods, to provide high quality materials and innovative methodologies for students, trainers and experts, focused in particular on the issue of migrants, asylum seekers and first legal and psychological intervention. To achieve these goals, the PARIS project has provided a series of targeted project actions, carried out in synergy by the partnership; in particular, one of the key actions of the project was the creation of a Joint Curriculum for the specialization of a professional figure in the management of migrants and asylum seekers, with the recognition of ECTs in their universities; specifically the actions developed by the PARIS project have been:- Implementation of the scientific publication ""Current models for the management of refugees and asylum seekers in Italy, Spain and Romania: training needs for working with this group"" (IO1)- Implementation of thematic Focus groups- Implementation of the e-Learnig platform for open-access training www.parisproject.eu (IO2)- Realization of interviews and webinars by country (sector experts, professors, etc.)- Creation of 5 specific e-learning sections and 1 dedicated section accessible upon registration with 3 Webinars.- Publication of a guide for students and professionals in the sector of migrant and asylum seekers entitled ""Tips and tricks for assertive communication with refugees"" (IO4)- Implementation of a Joint Curriculum (IO3) with the validation of ECTs for university students through participation in the ISP organized in the context of the PARIS project- Implementation of the ISP (PARIS Summer School), including dissemination plan and communication of the activity.- Implementation of III Multiplier EventsThe innovativeness of the project lies in the use of online learning platforms, aimed at encouraging the participation of students, professors and experts in the sector, which include downloadable material, video lessons and discussion forums; the material present is available and downloadable in English and in the three languages of the partner countries (IT, RO, ES).All the material produced during the PARIS project was functional to the realization of the pilot ISP mobility, a 12-day Summer School, organized in the city of Enna (Italy), during which 26 students from the three countries of the project were able to learn theories and specialized techniques of the work with refugees: NGOs trainers and university professors held morning theoretical lessons and afternoon practical lessons, and supported the students for the realization of a final project work on some concrete cases. In the context of the project, 3 Multiplier Events were organized, aimed at disseminating the PARIS project and the Intellectual Outputs, to allow wide dissemination of the project in the partner countries."

The project stems from the need detected during studies carried out in the field by the leading organization, in collaboration with the partner universities, about the needs that today's city-centres, whether they be small-medium-large, have in relation to new social challenges related to them. We need to consider that more than 70% of the population currently lives in European cities (Eurostat 2019), a share projected to grow to 80% by 2050; the city in fact concentrates the greatest opportunities for growth and employment, including more than 75% of jobs at EU level. On the other hand, at the same time, it is always in cities that the most serious social problems occur, such as difficulty in accessing services, housing problems, physical degradation and social and environmental disintegration: in this regard, recent reports and surveys conducted in Europe on happiness in European city life (Eurostat 2018 and Eurobarometer 419, 2016) show that in Italy, Romania and Slovakia (on a par), there is an ""unhappy"" propensity compared to the European average, with differences at a regional and local level depending on the size of population centres. The most vulnerable groups, such as children and the elderly, are necessarily more affected at the social level, and in modern societies, they are beginning to lose key relational references, which are the basis of what we indicate as happiness. One of the elements that affect the city life of the individual and his sociability is necessarily the urban organization and social policies related to it; for this motivation, knowing how to fully understand the needs, social needs, the main problems and strengths of the city context, as well as knowing how to plan and design appropriate interventions must be knowledge and skills of those who work in urban and territorial planning, taking into account the sociological and psychological aspects absolutely relevant. The STUD.IO project, therefore, taking into account the need found both at local level and in university training courses, aims to relate complementary sciences of psychology, sociology and urban planning in order to create a specialized university path accompanied by innovative tools and methodologies, especially using cutting-edge technologies, to improve and perfect the career of university students and non-university students working and studying in the field of urban development and society. The main objective of the project is to provide universities with study pathways, divided into specific modules covering different thematic areas (urban, social, anthropological, environmental, political) to meet the needs of urban development to meet the psychological, relational, sociological and physiological needs of individuals living in cities. To achieve this objective, the implementation of 4 Intellectual Outputs is foreseen:- A Literature Review on the main models and research currently available in the field of integration between Sociology, Psychology and Urbanism, in order to understand currents of academic thought and specific learning needs of students, which will be enriched by experiments and focus groups;- The creation of the STUD.IO Platform, an OnLine platform to support the project, an interactive tool composed of several training sections and spaces for collaboration between teachers and students from different faculties, institutes and countries, in order to achieve a wider exchange of knowledge, skills and methodological approaches on the topic;- The creation of the Joint Curriculum for the training of an expert in Consultancy, Planning and Management of available territorial resources, addressed in a pilot phase to 30 students who will take part in an Intensive Study Programme lasting 15 days.- A field trial and the publication of guidelines for students and experts in the field to give students the opportunity to put into practice and directly experience the knowledge they have learned in order to implement the STUD.IO model in specific contexts. The project is addressed to a twofold target group: on the one hand students, graduates and public and private employees of the sector, engaged in specialization courses; on the other hand, directly to local administrations, sector operators and companies in general where the STUD.IO model experimentation will take place."
