"Strengthening life skills to achieve a higher level of well-being is one of the fundamental elements for achieving better results in the professional field, but also personal especially for those who spend their profession helping others and making the relationship the cornerstone of their intervention. As part of the project FOCUS - FOstering the Capability of social workers delivering edUcation on life Skills we have chosen to turn to social sector operators and in particular to social workers, educators, community leaders, psychologists, staff all employed in the centeres managed by the organization partner, with the possibility of extending the target group to all educational agencies . For this purpose, FOCUS has provided for the implementation of an innovative model for the training of LIFE SKILLS and emotional Intelligence, based on the results of the needs analysis made on the target group. Thanks to this project, it was intended to equip operators in the third sector and in particular those who work in the three partner organizations of the project, with the skills to face the working context in a more functional way and by making sure transfer their acquired skills to guest users in order to promote a real change in the attitude with which they face daily challenges. The project involved 3 European countries, Italy, Portugal and Romania with associations that have diversified experience in the third sector, thanks to which we were able to achieve the realization of the three intellectual outputs. Those are Cooperativa 3P from Palermo, AMS from Palermo, Desinccop from Guimaraes, Filantropia from Bucharest. Specifically, we carried out a ""Literature review of scientific findings on the impact of life skills in social workers in daily work and in field of learning needs""; Guidelines for managing training sessions on life skills addressed to social workers; Interactive online platform for the exchange of methods and interventions between social operators who have implemented the FOCUS model in order to be transferred also to those who want to approach it.At the same time there were three transnational meetings, one for each partner country that allowed to agree on shared tools and strategies for the implementation of the individual activities and three multiplier events, also one for each country, for the dissemination of the results.Transversal to all this were the activities of management and monitoring of the activities but also a dissemination and communication plan that guaranteed good media coverage able to correctly reach the beneficiary and interested parties from other countries, and not directly involved in the project. A website with an attached online platform has been activated at www.project-focus.eu, a Facebook page and an Instagram profile, a mailing list for sending newsletters. For each event, each partner organization has disseminated it through its channels, websites and social media where present."

"The Re-ability project aims to improve the socio-relational and emotional skills of women / mothers victims of violence temporarily hosted in a residential community and / or taken in charge by anti-violence centers. To achieve this goal it is necessary to enhance the skills of the operators / educators of the communities and centers also in terms of learning new skills and provide them with innovative operational tools that allow women / mothers to achieve good levels of socio-relational skills and emotional.Alongside the path of psychological and emotional support, adults who have experienced a particular trauma and a difficult path, also in socio-relational terms, and who have a fundamental educational task (as parents) need to acquire and enhance personal skills compared the path of care / support they are experiencing. These are in particular EMOTIVE and socio-relational skills such as self-awareness, management of emotions, stress management, empathy, effective communication, effective relationships.Precisely for this reason, with a view to change in terms of modernization and internationalization of partner organizations, exchange and sharing of good practices, we intend to create a series of tools and results capable of creating an interconnection between formal, informal and non-formal learning formal and raise the quality of the ""education"" offered to women / mothers and their children guests in the community.Specifically the project aims to carry out three Intellectual Output:1. It is a Toolkit of tools useful to the educator to achieve the objectives of the Parent Education Plan3. New educational needs: recommendations from mothers who are victims of violence. This is a publication in which the data and results of previous IOs will be collected accompanied by real political recommendations so that mothers will be given a voice in dialogue with political decision-makersQuattro Transnational Meetings are planned, which in addition to having the objective of organizing the project activities from a technical and scientific point of view and defining the financial and reporting aspects, are also used as a moment of exchange of practices and study visits in the centers of the organizations partner.Cinque Multiplier Events are planned as dissemination moments, one for each partner country. The idea is that these MEs, some of which are programmed to take place simultaneously, can have a strong impact and reach as many people as possible thanks to the use of new technologies. From the implementation of the activities, the following results are expected:As for the host mothers or women of the anti-violence centers:• Strengthen socio-relational skills• Strengthen emotional skills• Strengthen parenting skills• Increase awareness of one's own experiences• Promote appropriate and functional attachment styles• Promote greater social inclusionAs for educators:• Offer valid support tools to their work• Improve the ability to offer support• Activate tools for change that can be subject to evaluation and monitoring• Increase professional skills• Creation of a specific and professionalizing intervention model• Promote networkingand• outline a shared vision of the area of intervention to accompany vulnerable parenting, identifying the transversal objectives and the actions that allow to achieve these objectives;• provide common guidelines with respect to interventions aimed at families living in situations of vulnerability primarily at local level;• facilitate services in operating in a compliant manner;• to provide local authorities and services with an overall picture of the indications coming from the most recent Italian and international scientific research and from the knowledge produced through innovative national experiences;• start a renewal of inter-professional and inter-institutional practices through the construction of new balances and concrete forms of sharing responsibility between promotion, prevention, administrative protection and protection"

"The CARE project - Accompanying the Careleavers in a path of Autonomy, Resilience and Empowerment, is born from the need gained over the years of experience in the field to realize a specific training aimed at university students of the faculties of humanities, which can be a value added to work with minors in view of their exit from the reception paths. In the needs analysis phase implemented thanks to the CHILD.FOR.CHILD project coordinated by the 3P Cooperative and funded by the EU REC program, the implementation of a guide figure and support to the autonomy of the young people who, after having lived part of their adolescence in reception facilities or foster families, they find themselves having to face entry into adult life ""alone"" and most of the time without the tools necessary to cope with these new changes. This even more if we consider that in Italy, the boys who live within their families of origin, at the age of eighteen, are certainly not ready for an independent life. For this reason it is important to train professionals to guide young people on a path of autonomy, resilience and empowermnent, which starts from their entry into the reception structures or foster family, and continues even after their exit, as points of reference for the guys out who don't have a family that can support them or that isn't adequate for that. The project involves the construction of 5 Intellectual Outputs:IO1: literature review of the models applied to the autonomy pathways in residential care for minors outside the familyIO2: Comparative study and analysis of intervention models for the promotion of careleavers autonomy.IO3: creation of a tool that allows the analysis of the history and models of autonomy of the children received in the community and to identify protective and risk factors, in order to elaborate a personalized autonomy project.IO4: Implementation of a toolkit for the construction of pathways of autonomy resilience and empowermentIO5: Joint curriculum for the training of an expert on the subject of promoting autonomyFollowing are the expected results:1. Training specific figures for the implementation of individualized autonomy paths of minors in communities / careleavers2. Increase awareness of the phenomenon3. Raising awareness of the governance for the implementation of policies aimed at careleavers and focusing above all on paths of autonomy4. Implement operational tools for the implementation of training courses and their evaluation5. Acquisition of new skills6. Joint curriculum thanks to the implementation of an intensive study program (ISP)for careleavers:7. Greater social inclusion8. Decreased deviance and / or alcohol and substance abuse9. Increased the possibility for the new adult to undertake more lasting training courses10. Increased the possibility for the new age to enter the world of work3 Multiplier Events will also be realized for the dissemination of the results achieved: the first in Spain, the second in Romania, the third in ItalyThe CARE project participants are distributed as follows:1. researchers and specialized operators, as regards the study and implementation of the first intellectual output-302.
