The coordinator is a school from Poland. The topic is related to the development of cultural, social, language and IT competences for raising awareness of the role of education through culture in the modern world. The idea is about a deeper look at regional education, creative exploration of close spaces and preparation of educational materials extending the core curriculum in humanities (native languages, history, English, knowledge of culture and art) to include regional education. We think that our idea is worth developing for vocational schools as well as for general ones. The main goals also include:- developing an attitude of respect for the cultural heritage of your region while being open to the cultural value of the inhabitants of other regions and European nations- deepening ties with the region of its young inhabitants- developing a sense of responsibility for cultivating tradition and promoting the achievements of previous generations- improving the quality of humanities education in 6 institutions, including by incorporating interdisciplinarityWe will focus on activities:1. Exploring and discovering 6 regions: Silesia in Poland, Nouvelle Acquitaine in France, Central Croatia in Croatia, Buzau Region in Romania, Alentejo in Portugal, Aegean Region in Turkey2. Practical activities3. Exchange of good practicesSchool partners in the area of task implementation are most often museums, local authorities, and community centers.During the 2 years we have planned:- 1 short-term joint staff training event in Poland with a seminar- 5 short-term exchanges of groups of pupils in 5 partner schools and 100 mobility of students aged 14-20 and 65 for teachers. Students with fewer educational opportunities will participate in the activities.Topics of 6 international meetings include the above activities and are focused around:1. Creative Learning about Regional Education2. Traditional Costumes and Accessories3. Regional Dances and Music4. Old Professions and Fassions, Forgotten Objects 5. Traditional and Regional Food 6. Rituals at Birth, Wedding, FuneralOur methodology include:- organization of trips, conversations with educators, cultural experts, local artists and craftsmen- participation in creative workshops: learning regional dances, songs, cooking traditional dishes- searching for information from various sources- creating themed posters; filming movies, interviews, lesson plans- conferences and seminars on regional education, exhibitions of work, local events, meetings with representatives of educational and educational authorities of cities that we want to interest in the topic of introducing regional education to teaching- learn the teaching methodology of other partner countries, observe learning methods, manage activities and larger projects, manage groups of students during mobilities abroad, develop cohesive strategies to overcome school issues, have an enhanced role in their school and a good image. The results will be prepared in 6 national languages and in English. We create innovation by expanding the didactic base:e-Book ""REG"", scenarios of regional education lessons, exhibitions of works created during the workshops, e-dictionary in 7 languages, e-Twinning project website, themed posters, project website with materials in 6 national and English languages, films on the channel YouTube. Thanks to the project, participants will integrate with the local community, develop the system of values, a sense of life certainty and security. They will learn to function in their own environment, as well as to be truly open to other communities and cultures. They will acquire knowledge about the world and its role in it. We want them to notice problems and ways of solving them, be able to organize work (individually, in a group), express their own opinions and discuss, express themselves in various forms. The main task of regional education is to enrich the curriculum content with new elements of knowledge, which ultimately contribute to learning about your own cultural heritage.Long-term impact of the project is expected. By the end of the project, nearly 5.000 students, teachers and local stakeholders, authorities in partner countries will be given chance to remember our ancient values and be more aware of taking action about safeguarding the cultural heritages of Europe. The innovation will be possible to be used by teachers from 6 countries and Europe interested in the subject of teaching regional education, as well as teachers of culture, English, leading interest groups. The materials will be available on the project website, Project Results Platform Erasmus +, in Twinspace, on the school websites. We have planned various channels for project dissemination and promotion."

This objective was achieved throughout the project. In partner schools and during student exchanges our students had the chance to learn about financial topics (currencies, savings and investment, debt management and financial responsibility, renting vs. owning, online shopping, loans, scholarships and grants etc). In order to instil skills that would help our students in school and later on the job market, during workshops in schools and during student exchanges we reinforced key competences such as critical thinking, problem solving and teamwork, ICT and communication skills. Our students had the chance to discover the diversity of EU cultures and their own culture, they had the chance to compare their knowledge and practices to their peers', and have definitely become more socially aware and open-minded. Our students were given knowledge they will be able to use with their families and affect their family financial decisions in the long run. We used methodology that is more interesting and attractive to students (online meetings, research on the Internet, brainstorming, timelines, presenting etc).

The intention wasn't to create inventors since we are not schools which educate in that field, but to teach students that it's not impossible and give them guidelines if they do venture in this field. Also, we wanted to show students that in the digital era innovators are not necessarily people with engineering background, but people with an idea, who are also creative and brave. We wanted to motivate students to learn certain skills that would help them in their professional choices. And we believe we succeeded in this respect. Our key OBJECTIVE was to give students insight into our history and heritage through learning about inventors and innovators in history and nowadays, and then use this newly found knowledge in creating their own idea which would be an innovation on the market and the basis of a business endeavour. We wanted to teach our students how to recognize a possible innovation by exposing them to examples of national and European inventors and innovators, taking them to school trips where they would experience similar stories first-hand, teaching them basics of entrepreneurship and marketing, and developing their critical-thinking skills.PARTICIPANTS:Secondary school students and teachers from 5 EU countries (Croatia, Greece, Sweden, Poland, Germany) from different types of schools (1 experimental, 1 real schule and 3 vocational schools). We realized more than 100 mobilities over the 2 years as planned in the application, and the number of students and teachers participating in project activities is estimated at around 400, which is more than we planned.ACTIVITIES:- 2 transnational meetings in Croatia and Greece, and 4 short-term exchanges of groups of pupils (Croatia, Germany , Sweden and Poland).- 11 workshops - during mobilities and in respective schools throughout the 2 years- Erasmus corner - an information corner in all schools with updated information- International Inventors’ Day – on Nov 9, thematic days in schools with lectures and games - visits to local institutions/factories and local inventors’ associations and museums during mobilities- guest lectures by inventors and innovators and other professionals- presentations and posters – of chosen inventors and innovators- evaluation surveys - ""My invention"" - model companies- ""the Handbook for teachers: teaching inventiveness with our inventors and innovators""- Wikipedia articles on inventors - instead of a planned Android mobile application which proved to be very difficult to create just with students so we decided to try to realize the objectives this wayRESULTS AND IMPACT (students)- students expanded their foreign language level and skills (English and German mostly, but they were also exposed to national languages) and also developed presentation skills in English language- students developed new digital and entrepreneurial skills and competences- their abilities to work in international teams increased and they managed really well- students learned about foreign students' culture, their own ideas and plans for the future, which also raised their awareness of their own culture and the need to combat stereotypes and xenophobia- students improved their social skills, self-confidence and self-esteem- we worked really hard on developing skills of critical thinking, organizing and producing something new and we got great results and feedback- we also wanted to raise awareness in the context of vocational training and entrepreneurship and tried to make that training more popular among students- studens had the chance to learn how to recognize an innovative idea, and work on its realization and market placementRESULTS AND IMPACT (teachers/staff)- enhanced the quality and European dimension of teacher training- raised awareness of the similarities and differences between other cultures- developed new skills and competences - both experienced and inexperienced teachers- learned how to motivate and inspire students to be innovative and persistent and be innovative themselves - with the help of guest lecturers and foreign teachers- created new tools and materials to work with young people- supported the prevention of dropping out of school by young people and fighting uneployment by motivating students to try self-employment - Erasmus project has been very popular among students and we emphasised the idea and need of lifelong learning RESULTS AND IMPACT (participating schools)- our schools continued to work together in the 2019 Call too- gained new insights into national and local culture, as well as examples of good managerial work and entrepreneurial spirit- strengthened cooperation with local authorities, businesses, various institutions, schools and social organizations"

On the basis of an needs analys of the graduates and students in junior grades by interviews, observations and surveys, a significant discrepancy has been discovered between students' dreams and real opportunities to find job after some directions of education. This is confirmed by statistical data concerning unemployment of poorly educated young people in Europe. Furthermore, there is a fairly large percentage of young people leaving education at the high school stage becoming unemployed. Graduates suffering from the risk of the various types of exclusion not having an idea for employment or how to start their own business are doomed to failure. Few of them for various reasons, decide on education or work away from home. This prompted us to write this project aimed to: 1.enable the participants to learn educational differences in partner countries and to give students information about career counseling in the EU, entrepreneurship and the needs of the local and European labor market in order to ensure greater coherence between the two sectors; 2.prevent unemployment and early school leaving of young people; 3.indicate opportunities and direct young people to effectively plan their further education and career path, which will help them make wise choices consistent with the expectations of the labor market and employers; 4.create and implement innovative International Program of Extracurricular Activities; 5.create the public database of information about learning opportunities, vocational training, career counseling, the current needs of the labor market, employment institutions at home and abroad; 6.dzielenie exchange of experience and good practices by the wide availability of the Project on Facebook / Twitter and the project website; 7.contribute to the dialogue between schools and employers in the EU, to enable our students to choose the right directions for future academic training or education in the sought jobs, and schools to adjust their educational offers. Goals can be fully realized only with international cooperation. Common experiences within it will be a significant added value for students, parents, teachers, management, representatives of local authorities and partners in the field of career guidance and job benefits. Practical workshops on entrepreneurship and business establishment will enhance the knowledge and skills of beneficiaries and affect the motivation to continue learning. Implementation of the project is to change the consciousness of the student, especially endangered exclusion, indicate the different ways personal and professional development, develop in the desirable characteristics of an entrepreneur, unleash the initiative to positive energy, creative thinking. There will be 4 org.-monitoring visits in connection with the determination, the fiscal and planning activities in the subsequent stages (X.2015 in Croatia, VI.2016 in Greece, the second in 2017 in the UK and November 2017 in Poland) and 4 Youth Exchange (Croatia III.2016, Greece X 2016 United Kingdom IV in 2017, Poland IV 2018) Every youth exchange will involve 48 participants (including 12 caregivers) from the sending schools and 16 participants (including 4 teachers) of the host country. We planned 192 mobilities within 3 years(144 for ss-incl. 24 for ss with special needs; 48 for teachers) Students will be chosen in the recruitment procedure. Actions agreed in international preparatory process and have been included in the project schedule. Thanks to them, it will be possible to develop tangible and intangible assets results. Students from the knowledge, experience and the implementation of the International Programme for extra-curricular activities will plan your path consciously personal and professional development, undertake further education, initiate the form of training, start their own businesses actively counteract their own unemployment, will leave for training or practice. To activate youth activities to realize their dreams by consciously planning to continue their education and career paths. Workshops by brain storming, the method of the project, a decision tree method of coaching, role play etc. To encourage young people to expand their knowledge, acquire new skills, learn languages and taking responsibility for their own future in a European dimension. The experience, skills and knowledge acquired during the project by the participants (students, staff learner, representatives of partner schools), will result in a greater awareness, project topics, cultural, linguistic. Teaching and learning materials, new ICT tools developed as products of the project will permanently serve as educational tools. Innovative activity program will provide an alternative to preparing students to enter the job market real in a coherent way of their dreams.
