BOWI project addresses the challenge of limited capacities among DIHs to support the uptake of SAE/I4MS technologies during the last 7 years in the European industry at large. The overall aim of the project is to create a DIH widening network that supports the collaboration of new DIHs (proto-hubs) in regions where SAE and I4MS technologies are underrepresented and well-established DIHs that are highly experienced in these technologies (mature hubs). BOWI takes the first step towards creating a fully sustainable post-project network by: 1. Strengthening proto-hubs by carrying out actual experiments and facilitating the collaboration between proto-hubs and mature hubs; 2. Ensuring sustainability of BOWI network by developing a blended financing accelerator and membership model; 3. Creating the BOWI community, initiating the participation of proto-hubs, mature hubs, regional stakeholders, and investors. The mechanism will be first tested by supporting 6 pioneer proto-hubs (pioneer stage), which will be later extended to 9 proto-hubs in the second full-fledged strengthening stage, allowing new members of the EU DIH community to participate, including the proto-hubs and mature hubs that are currently not part of the consortium. The post-project BOWI network business model is to be explored, including service and funding needs. To ensure practical experience, all 15 proto-hubs will be supported to conduct 60 (15x4) SAE/I4MS uptake experiments with SMEs in total. For this purpose, an extensive FSTP approach will be used. The consortium includes experienced partners that participate intensively in the SAE/I4MS strategies (Civitta, FBA, VTT, and RWTH). They are complemented by 6 proto-hubs from various countries that act as pioneer hubs to test and validate approaches (TIT, LITC, UWB, KTP, NTNU, ICT).

DIHs have the mission of helping companies (mainly start-ups, SMEs and mid-caps) to better understand and experiment on how digital technologies can improve their efficiency, effectiveness and product quality – in other words, their competitiveness. DIHs should have strong linkages with service providers outside of their own region in order to support companies in those services and technologies where regional DIHs do not have the requested in-house resources to provide services based on specific technologies sought by users. In recent decades, health-related activities have evolved from a reactive approach (curing diseases) to an approach based on the P4 medicine paradigm: Predictive, Preventive, Personalised and Participatory. In this new paradigm, the use of digital technologies is key. Thanks to digital technologies such as AI or HPC and the massive generation of medical and other health-related data, traditional methods for early detection, diagnosis, treatment, patient management, precision medicine, drug development, genomics, or medical image analysis are being transformed. DIHsP4_MEDICINE project aims to unleash the potential that exists around the collaboration among DIHs focused in health-related activities. The lessons to be learned from the activities carried out within the framework of the project will make possible to take advantage this experience for the implementation of joint long-term and stable programmes to fostering collaboration among DIHs, as well as exploring the opportunity to articulate stable Hub corridors to shape these collaborations.

AI-PRISM is an industrial-end-user driven project that will provide a human-centred AI-based solutions ecosystem targeted to manufacturing scenarios with tasks difficult to automate and where speed and versatility are essential. The result will be an integrated and scalable ecosystem with installation-specific solutions for semi-automated and collaborative manufacturing in flexible production processes and for which specific robotic programming skills will not be required, thanks to its programming-by-demonstration modules. The ecosystem will be composed by four main pillars including 1) Human Centred Collaborative Robotic Platform, 2) Human Robot Cooperation Ambient, 3) Social Human-Agent-Robots Teams Collaboration and 4) Open Access Network Portal. In order to facilitate the assessment of the performance, transferability, scalability and large-scale deployment of these solutions, the demonstrations will be conducted under real operational environments in four pilot involving key manufacturing sectors - Furniture (ES), Food/Beverage (GR), Built-in Appliances (TR) and Electronics (PL) -, plus one generic demonstration facility (AT). The project is not just aiming at quantitative improvements in a specific sector, but to use technology innovation to support a change of paradigm where AI, robotics and Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) integrated in the manufacturing domain for the improvement of flexible production processes, become a feasible and widespread alternative for European factories, especially SMEs. To achieve this, the project relies on a strong consortium of 25 partners from 12 countries including international cooperation with Korea. The consortium brings together all the actors of the Human Robot Collaboration (HRC) value chain including relevant competence centres, technology providers, equipment providers, integrators, and manufacturers/end users; and involves key expert partners in SSH, standardisation, exploitation, and dissemination.

Driven by a powerful consortium, composed of nine EUt+ partner universities, two young researcher associations (FJI from Spain and LJZA from Latvia), and two strong industrial partners (ATIT from Romania and ABG from France), the ECROS project aims to revolutionize the professional development of Early-Career Researchers (ECRs) across Europe. The project will establish a cohesive talent ecosystem designed to empower R1 and R2 researchers, equipping them with the necessary skills to thrive in both academic and industrial settings. ECROS will deliver a range of impactful outcomes, including structured career guidance, enhanced collaboration frameworks, and comprehensive support systems for ECRs. By fostering academia-industry partnerships, offering mobility opportunities through industrial PhDs and placements, and providing entrepreneurial training, the project supports the diversification of research careers. The ecosystem will include the creation of the Young Researchers Statute and industry collaboration guidelines, ensuring researchers receive continuous support and recognition throughout their careers. Leveraging the strength of the consortium, the project aligns with the EU's Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) and the Charter and Code for Researchers, promoting policy recommendations for improving ECR conditions across Europe. By integrating these frameworks with a tailored talent toolbox, ECROS contributes to shaping future talent within the European Research Area (ERA), positioning ECRs for success in both academic and industrial sectors.

Our vision is to “co-create Europe'' through a 21st century mindset, methodology, skills and tools, closing the innovation gap between “innovation leaders” and “moderate/modest innovators”. We rely on inclusion and active participation of actors, institutions and places that collaborate to maximize the value of innovation to society and ensure equitable diffusion of its benefits. BOOST project proposes a systemic approach, both inclusive and collaborative, to strengthen innovation ecosystems in Europe. The main aim of BOOST project is to increase the scope and efficiency of interregional collaboration among project partners and their regional innovation ecosystems, in the following thematic areas: Industry 4.0, Cleantech and Green Transition, Health & Well-being, and ICT & Digital Transformation, by designing a structural (multi-dimensional) Interregional Collaboration Framework (ICF), develop tools and mechanisms that enable and support the operationalization and scale up of the ICF among Smart Regions, and contribute to the transition towards Green and Digital Regional development models and policies in Europe. BOOST proposes a two-phase implementation process: (1) first the co-design and co-development of project’s core concepts: Vision, mission, ICF and Unique Selling Proposition, and initiating the BOOST community and collaboration Corridor; and (2) second to set up and mature the ICF among Smart Regions by developing a joint 5-year Innovation Action Plan, aligned with regional/national/EU innovation policies and synchronized with innovation funding mechanisms across partner regions and EU. The consortium brings together 4 partners (TIT, NWRDA, BBF and CLDI) from 3 modest and moderate innovator countries Bulgaria, Romania, and Spain, and 2 partners (VK and TSP) from 2 lead innovator countries Denmark and Estonia, enhancing exchange of innovation and boost best practices at the level of public and private stakeholders.
