They brought different aspects to the project work as the objectives of their work are different, covering adult education, guidance and counseling services, validation of prior learning, research on education and training systems in Europe and cooperation with the business world. This was to secure a very broad approach to the theme and objectives of this partnership project. The benefits of this project for providers of guidance services will be that they are better equipped to approach companies and employees as both parties will better understand the importance of letting the competence development of employees go hand in hand with the needs of the company. Five international meetings have been held, all three multiplier events have been conducted: ideology presented; train the providers; final conference, and the three outputs/products have been produced; report on comparison of methods and tools, Toolbox for guidace (http://wlguidance.wixsite.com/toolbox) and training course/material for guidance providers. The project has reached directly over four hundred professionals in five European countries. Partner countries have set up processes for continuing disseminating the ideology of the project and using the Toolbox further with guidance providers and in companies. This will open up further developments in the area of competence development, transparency and matching of skills."

Indeed, to date, only two universities offer training in the wine tourism sector namely, Universidade Lusófona in Portugal and Universidad de Salamanca in Spain. It is in this context that six European organizations from research and trade sectors worked together for 31 months (September 2016 - March 2019) in order to create the ""BACCHUS SME"" vocational training in tourism. Thus, the partnership included a cooperative that supports and promotes sustainable rural development, economic, social, professional and employment (FR); three SMEs (PT, AT, BG) active in the fields of vocational training, adult training and human resources consultancy; a university (ES) covering scientific fields and know-how related to tourism and organizational development and having interdisciplinary research experience; and a local development agency (IT) that supports and promotes sustainable rural, economic, social, vocational and employment development, and operates in particular in the areas of rural tourism, environmental education, rural development and tourism. innovation, technology transfer and vocational training.BACCHUS SME project was divided into four phases: analysis of the organizational development of SMEs (O1); analysis of the wine tourism sector (O2); development of the learning program and the diagnostic tool (O3) and creation of the BACCHUS SME platform (O4).Thus, the partners first conducted two studies (O1 and O2) on their territory in order to identify the specific needs of small and medium-sized winegrowers for their organizational development and for a diversification of their wine tourism offer. To do this, the partners have worked with both wine entrepreneurs, wine tourists but also public bodies, local development associations, experts in wine tourism, etc. to which they submitted questionnaires. Focus groups and literature searches complemented the field studies. In total, nearly 500 people contributed to the work.Based on the results of their studies, the partners created an innovative learning program (O3) including a diagnostic tool and blended-learning training modules (combination of online training sequences and face-to-face training). Thus, in view of the identified needs, the partners of BACCHUS project developed the following modules: (1) wine tourism as an opportunity for the wine industry; (2) good practices for innovation and entrepreneurship strategy in wine tourism; (3) analysis of local and global tourism attractions; (4) English language in the wine tourism sector; (5) communication and cooperation techniques; (6) marketing in the wine tourism sector; (7) ICTs applied to wine tourism and digital marketing; (8) wine and heritage and (9) food and wine pairings. All content is embedded in the online platform BACCHUS SME (O4) developed specifically for the project needs. In addition to the communication actions carried out on digital tools and in the press, the intellectual outputs of BACCHUS SME project were presented during multiplier events (E3-E10) organized as part of the project. The latter brought together nearly 300 people from the six territories of the partnership (AT, BG, ES, FR, IT and PT) who had he opportunity to share their opinion and even test the developed content and tools. For more information on the project and its results, please consult free available BACCHUS SME tools and content from the project website: www.bacchus-sme.eu."

In government conferences and in school meetings, the issue of quality in VET tops the agenda. If learning doesn’t lead to satisfactory outcomes, everyone loses: learners, employers and society at large. This is what stirs up the field of quality assurance in VET. This is where the role of the IntoQuality project comes as it strives to set the grounds for establishing well-founded and defined criteria to estimate the value and credibility of the main actors involved in EU VET mobilities. The project will contribute for the following EU priorities:+ Further developing quality assurance mechanisms in VET + Promoting work-based learning in all its forms, with special attention to apprenticeship-type training+ Transparency and recognition of skills and qualifications to facilitate learning, employability and labour mobilityAIMS AND OBJECTIVESThe overall aim of the IntoQuality project is to create a more favourable environment for youth exchanges and mobility programmes in the field of IVET.The project stipulates several specific objectives:+ To establish a “European Association of Quality Intermediary Organizations for Mobility” united around common definition of quality mobility and value for money+ To develop an efficient Quality Assurance System which to guarantee wide visibility of reliable and credible intermediary organizations involved in mobility projects+ To develop an interactive monitoring tool for mobility beneficiaries allowing for continuous evaluation and improvement of the mobility experience+ To contribute to the increase of EU mobilities through promoting cooperation between quality intermediary organizations.INTELLECTUAL OUTPUTSIO1: Quality Assurance System for VET Mobility Intermediary Organizations: a comprehensive system of quality criteria and indicators promoting the common understanding of the quality in transnational mobilities. The tool may be used by mobility organizations for periodic self-assessment and improvement of their services. Also, it may serve as a knowledge base for start-up mobility organizations, looking for a professional standard in the field of mobilities. The Quality Assurance System is structured according to the categories of services offered by VET Mobility Intermediary Organizations: 1. Overall organization of mobilities; 2. Accommodation; 3. Catering; 4. Transportation; 5. Training placements; 6. Structured training activities (incl. language training); 7. Professional study visits; 8. Cultural activities and 9. Inclusion of people with special needs.IO2: Interactive Monitoring Application: an interactive mobile application allowing mobility coordinators and beneficiaries to allow participants in the mobility to share their experience in real time on a daily basis with their sending institution/mentors/schools etc. The application will serve as a digital diary for the participants in the mobility prompting them what they can do each day of the mobility, asking them to evaluate different aspects of the mobility and thus allowing for continuous improvement of the experience. The project consortium has established a European Association of Quality Organizations in Mobility with headquarters in Brussels. The IntoQuality QAS will serve as tool for admission of quality intermediary organizations to the Association.TARGET GROUPS+ Intermediary organizatiosn manading and implementing mobilities+ VET schools sending/receiving mobilities+ Business organizations providing work placements for mobility participants+ Local/Regional/National authorities involved in Multi-stakeholder Mobility Platforms+ VET Students taking part in mobility projects+ VET professionals taking part in mobility projectsProject target groups were involved in the project through the following activities:External testing of Quality Assurance system: 55 organization from 14 European countriesExternal testing of monitoring app: 71 persons from 5 European countriesOnline/ social media/ websites: 14883 personsNewsletter distribution/ mailings: 1713 personsFace-to-face meetings: 1213 personsConferences/multiplier events/fairs: 3280 personsOther (local newspapers, etc): 50 persons
