The project has a duration of 24 months with the start date of June 2019. The participating organisations belong to three countries - Italy, Greece and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia - which well represent the basic value of the European Union: ""United in diversity"" (including in this concept the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia as a candidate country) and represent a set of heterogeneous realities whose competences are completed and enriched. The project has two main priorities: to promote, through the methodology of the Debate, the quality of youth work and the empowerment of young people. The flow of project activities and the work plan outlined have been planned in relation to and in line with these two priorities, with the aim of promoting, through a process of non-formal education and through youth work, the ability of young people to develop their own critical thinking, increasing their participation and their sense of belonging to the values of global citizenship. In line with the priorities and objectives of the project, the participants (about 40 in total) are young people aged18 to 30 who will participate, during the two years of the project, to a series of common activities, both at local and transnational level. In short, the activities envisaged by the project are divided into three phases. The first phase is focussed on training activities on the Debate methodology for the young workers that will start through a joint training activity of five days in Italy. The second phase foresees, in all three partner countries, at local level, the implementation of a non formal educational path to the Debate methodology for a group of 8 young people (for a total of 24 people). The activities will last approximately 12 months and will be implemented through three workshops managed by the youth workers who will have taken part to the first phase of activity and to the joint training activity staff; the workshops will be supported by the use of Google Classroom, Finally, during the third phase, at the end of the training workshops, the young and the participating youth workers, together, will take part to the final blended mobilities in Greece during which transnational Debate activities will be organised.During this phase of activity the participants will be invited to elaborate proposals on the chosen theme (immigration) to be presented to the local authorities of each individual country. The topic has been selected in relation to the analysis of the national contexts of the three countries and in relation to the relevance of the topic within the European and global context. The project path will allow the reading of the phenomenon from an extended point of view with the aim of assessing the phenomenon from a historical perspective at national, European and international level. This approach will allows the analysis of the phenomenon in a broader context: internal migrations, intra-European migration and extra-European migration. The expected results are related to a progressive improvement of the competence and skills of the young workers and young participants, as well as of the participating and associated organisations. As anticipated, within the project the use of the Google classroom platform is envisaged, as a supporting tool; the implementation of a project site; the drafting of guidelines for the use of the Debate methodology in the field of non-formal youth education; the drafting of a series of proposals to improve immigration policies. The project represents an opportunity for growth for all participants and was designed with a view to future development and transfer of experience, in different contexts and on different topics."

The project objective is: increase youth workers competences on youth employment.Youth biggest challenge is unemployment, the young adult generation lives with the support of the family, that is, from the solidarity of the parents and the closest relatives. Long-term unemployment makes young people frustrated and dissatisfied because they are forced to delay them in time important functions, both for individuals and for society - marriage, parenting and such. The situation in Croatia and Greece are in better situation, however the level is not drastically different, as the Greece crisis have taken its toll and the accession of Croatia in EU have left some gaps regarding youth unemployment nationwide, as young people are seeking employment in other EU countries (brain drain), and doesn't recognize the national opportunities as options, due to the lower standards and prosperity, lack of information and opportunities. Workpetence was focused on the topics: Youth (Participation, Youth Work, Youth Policy) and Labor market issues including career guidance/youth unemployment in order to create online synergy between NEET group of young people and youth workers. Workpetence contributed towards the following horizontal and sectorial priorities: YOUTH: Promoting quality youth work, HORIZONTAL: Open and innovative practices in a digital era, HORIZONTAL: Social inclusion.Youth Council Prilep from Macedonia, ALFA ALBONA from Croatia and United Societies of Balkans from Greece strived to complete the project objective with achieving the following results: - Established guide on consultation and mentoring basics for Online Career Guidance and - Provided online digital tool for support of youth workers in field of youth employment. Also, the project intervention achieved the following results based on project activities: - Established fully functional interactive project website and - Produced Methodology for Assessment of Employability Competences Online Test.Workpetence included: Experts, Technicians, youth workers from Croatia, Macedonia and Greece who produced tool for Assessment of Employability competences dedicated for youth workers that provide support to young people in NEET. Approximately 1000 people had some benefits from the Tool or they were the target of the activities organized by the project partners, such as youth workers, youth organizations, organizations that work with youth, national, local authorities, to young people in NEET.The Project contained one transnational meeting, two multiplier events and delivering one intellectual output defined as Innovative digital tools for employability competences for Youth.Young people were targeted directly and where young people spent most of their time, Online.Workpetence directly targeted: experts, technicians, youth workers from Croatia, Macedonia and Greece. The project indirectly and on level of impact targeted: youth in NEET situation aged 15 - 29 - with special focus of the NEETs in Macedonia, Croatia and Greece. Furthermore, youth organizations and organization that work with youth from partner countries - have been directly communicated in different stages of the project according to the needs of the activities and dissemination of the project results (piloting of the Workpetence Tool in the schools, youth organisations, Agency for employment, schools and students for the workshop developed during the Multiplier Event 1 in Macedonia etc.)This project had a direct and efficient impact on youth workers and participant’s organizations that were into the project and the activities. By Workpetence - young people are able to know and obtain a huge range of information useful for them on personal level, developed from recognized psychologists and career consultants. The project ensured the sustainability with practical multiplication of the innovative digital tools in youth workers sector as an essential tool for consultation and mentorship for young unemployed people in their employment assessment, fit to the needs of NEETs by different organizations and youth information organizations all across Europe. We are expecting that youth unemployment rate in the partner countries will be decreased for at least for 3% by 2025 also the average rate of youth in NEET situation in EU28 dropped for at least 2% by 2025.This will confirm and ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of the proposed methodology within this project.Even the project ended, Workpetence is existing as Tool for youth workers in Assessment of Employability Competences for youth in NEET.

Inclusion of young people living with disabilities is a main horizontal objective of our daily work, promoting the Independent Living Movement and empowering young people to be more self-sustainable and active citizens along the way. Our experience is that there is little emphasis on involving young people living with disabilities into European mobility schemes; according to data supplied by Hungarian NA a meagre 1,9% of the total number of participants were of special needs in KA105 projects hosted in Hungary in 2019.Young people living with disabilities are often deprived of community activities and less willing to mobilise which affects their social status and environment on the long run. Educational institutions are trying to integrate these young people with limited success, limitations being inflexible pedagogic framework, lack of qualified experts and lack of proper and barrier-free environment. Thus, youth work seems to be an adequate tool for fostering social inclusion and active citizenship of people living with disabilities. However - as available statistical data suggests - accessibility of mobility schemes and youth NGOs in general are limited. Why? What key stakeholders – grassroots, youth services, NGOs, NAs, policy makers, networks and resource centers – should do to improve accessibility? Our project seek to find the answer by conducting an empirical research and formulating policy recommendations. This project would focus on assessing barriers in existing youth work infrastructures – defining barriers as wide as possible. The partnership would work on gathering data, knowledge from professionals working on the field.ACTIVITIES OF THE PROJECT1.Kick-off in Hungary – start of the project (3 working days + two travel days)2.3 subsequent Transnational meetings- TMs scheduled for major milestones3.IO1 and IO2: research – survey with 50 organizations/country, actively engaged in youth work and mobility schemes, supplemented by 20 deep interviews conducted with professionals. Output: research paper.4.IO3 policy recommendation for decision makers and support structures reflecting on the needs of the organizations5.Dissemination: national conferences organised by each partner to disseminate the results of the research and recommendation.

But what willhappen to these 3.3 millions of YP once they get back to their own communities and realities? Whenwe set our feet back into our daily lives after a learning mobility, we often end up asking ourselves:""Have I changed, or them?"" And sometimes the most difficult thing, then, is to stay hungry, to keepthis energy alive, this desire to say “yes” to the unknown, to diversity, to new opportunities andchallenges… and to share the knowledge we gained with our peers and communities, determiningwhat we can do with everything we have learnt. However, there is today a lack of social support andeffective and coordinated follow up strategies that could help them to give sense, a posteriori, to themobilities and that could ensure that this engagement can take place at the local level, above allwhen this concerns YP with fewer opportunities. What we witness is a lack of connection betweenmobilities and local impact and the consequent waste of human capital and potentials … like anunfinished rite of passage. This is also partially due to the many challenges and difficulties connectedto the recognition of competences acquired during mobilities. That's why ""Level UP!"" wants to ensurethat Erasmus+ mobilities have a strong impact at the local level, as this is a strong gap in theErasmus Plus program that also recently emerged from the midterm shadow report published by theEuropean Youth Forum (Feb 2018). As youth workers and youth org constantly dealing withinternational mobilities, we see the incredible potential of strengthening and ensuring the localengagement of YP involved in mobilities: their learnings, their new skills and expertise, their openedminds, innovative ideas and committed souls can have an empowering and powerful effect on thecommunities they live in, as well as on their peers and co-citizens. Thus, the aim of the project is to toprovide them with the tools and the opportunities to channel their engagement and their motivationinto the local realities, offering space and time for effective follow up and building up a continuum ofexperiences that will allow YP to give back to the communities. And we will do so by creating specificdigital tools that will help us to ""LEVEL UP!"" the follow up of learning mobilities! The specificobjectives of the project are: - To support the capacity building of youth workers and youth org toimplement effective follow up strategies and to ensure local impact of international mobilities - Tofoster engagement, volunteering and stronger participation of YP involved in international mobilitiesin their own communities and local realities - To enable YP involved in international mobilities toconnect, to get in touch among themselves and with policymakers, public administrations, youth org, civic society org, interest groups, etc. in order to increase youth engagement at the local level as aresult of international mobilities - To contribute to the recognition of competences and skills acquiredby YP through international mobilities, both in formal, non formal and informal settings - To contributeto the creation of a community of European YP who’ve been part of mobilities abroad and are eagerto “give back” to their own local communities The project will last 25 months, from Sept 2018 till Sept2020, and will target: - around 1400 YP (aged 14 to 30 - 1/3 are estimated to be disadvantaged) - upto 24 youth workers - 4 youth org (ABS/Bulgaria, YEU International/Belgium, DYPALL/Portugal andUSB/Greece) - around 120 associated partners The project includes: - TC1 ""Capacity building of youth workers and youth org"": how to ensure local impact and engagement of YP taking part inEuropean and international mobilities - TC2 ""Capacity building of youth workers and youth org"":learning how to use the “Level Up” app to engage YP who take part in international mobilities at thelocal level - 12 multiplier events (8 focus groups within the research and testing phases + 4dissemination events) - local testing activities in all countries and communities The outputs foreseenare the following: - A thorough research and analysis of existing follow up practices in the youth fieldand in the field of learning mobilities, including gaps and needs to be addressed both at the local andat the european level -A platform/app ""Linkedin-style"" matching YP competencies with possibilities toengage at the local level (“Shake your competencies” + Creating an “online community” + “Opencalls” to initiate local actions and foster civic engagement, etc) - A publication that will encompassthe results of the research phase (collection of good practices for follow up of learning mobilities) andthe step by step guide to the app/platform (including tips and tricks to use the tools, etc.)."
