The 8 Key Competences, which Europe conceives as a basis for lifelong learning, define a set of knowledge, skills and attitudes that individuals need for personal fulfilment and development, active citizenship, social inclusion and employment. Among these, the spirit of entrepreneurship (understood as an entrepreneurial mind-set) plays a fundamental role in the greater employability of young people and adults, but at the same time communication in foreign languages, digital competence, learning to learn, social competence and civic, or mobility education, represent another fundamental requirement in the scenario of the European Labor market.Young Europeans, especially those at risk of marginalization, in conditions of social or economic disadvantage, often perceive themselves as without the power of personal development and suffer from a low level of self-esteem in managing their training, life situations and work. These premises, common to all the organizations involved in the proposal, have created the need to learn and adopt innovative practices for entrepreneurship education, improving the training offer aimed at young people between 18 and 29 years old. The project promotes the exchange of good practices between teachers and trainers in the sense of creating new approaches to the training path that help improve youngsters' skills and stimulate their motivation to learn. We therefore intend to offer this target the opportunity to enhance basic, personal, social and organizational skills.Ent4Neet intends to implement an exchange of good practices between youth organizations in order to implement a pilot course accompanied by a manual (so-called Handbook) addressed to youth workers who at various levels are involved in the education of young people. The intent is to stimulate entrepreneurship and communication skills, integration and active citizenship of young people, especially Neet, including those in conditions of economic / social / cultural disadvantage, by proposing a model that can be replicated and transferred to various sectoral and geographical realities.First of all, a research carried out among companies and employers at local and transnational level will highlight the soft skills most sought after by the Labor Market. The resulting final report will be the premise for the exchange of good practices and the course for teachers and trainers who will be the subject of the Handbook, OER of the project. A short-term staff training event is planned for 20 youth workers from the 4 countries of origin of the partners. Subsequently, thanks to the skills acquired, pilot courses will be carried out at local level (for at least 50 young people between 18 and 29 years old). 20 of these young people will also have the opportunity to participate in a transnational mobility (blended mobility of young people) which will seek to deepen the skills and knowledge acquired in the pilot courses. The project approach is cooperative and is based on non-formal training and techniques such as active and participatory learning, learning by doing and peer-to-peer training. The exchange of good practices, the identification and involvement of target groups, the Handbook containing the soft skills report sought by the World of Work and innovative ways of entrepreneurship education will be the main results of Ent4Neet.The impact of the project will also be visible thanks to the statistical surveys on the sample of beneficiaries even after the end of the project. The project will continue to produce results beyond its end. Its sustainability is intrinsic since it is a project intended to enhance key competences and training standards regarding the training modules and teaching methodologies related to teaching and learning processes in the Youth sector. The project web portal will continue to exist after the end of the project and therefore access to all products made will continue to be guaranteed. Besides, all subjects involved in the project partnership are training institutions and youth organizations with experience in supporting young people for the development of skills related to entrepreneurship. Therefore, each of them will insert the training module created among their own training tools of the youth workers, teachers, trainers and educators. They have had to develop their own idea, plan their needs, temporize, readjust, prepare the presentation of their project both in written and personal format in the different phases of the project and especially in the final multiplier event. They have acquired and improved their skills for ""product development"" and entrepreneurship. All these initiatives are part of the European Union's strategy ""EUROPE 2020"" towards smart, sustainable and inclusive growth. The project has 5 partner organizations with long experience in the field of youth and education. This has ensured the quality of the actions implemented and a dissemination among all the parties we wanted to reach: professionals from the youth field, associations, clubs, informal organizations, public and municipal institutions, educational centers and companies. The main activities that have been carried out to achieve these objectives are:• Surveys on the perception of education among youth workers.• Surveys on the way of life and tastes of young people.• Project logo contest.• E-learning training course for youth workers in gamification and non-formal education.• E-learning and face-to-face training course for young people to create a mobile application that includes elements of gamification.• Development of an online Methodological Guide on non-formal education and gamification directed at youth workers in all the languages of the countries involved in the project (Intellectual Product). We can affirm that the results achieved are in line with all the stated objectives, since we have managed to involve more than 25 organizations in all countries, as well as the training of 36 youth workers in the development and implementation of their own personal project. -15 projects implemented in their organizations, using gamification techniques and training 27 young people in the development of a mobile APP -7 projects, incorporating elements of gamification. The long-term benefits are numerous; from the creation of synergies between professionals and educational and youth institutions at local and European level to ensure the continuation of the project. Through the Methodological Guide and its full availability to the public on the website of the project and the organizations, the results and good practices of this project are captured and for the benefit of the entire community. On the other hand, the development of this project helps the progressive internationalization of organizations that work with young people from the participating countries, thus contributing to the dissemination of the opportunities offered by the Erasmus + program and, consequently, the European Union. In addition, regarding the participation of young people, it is worth noting the acquisition of professional and transversal skills, which undoubtedly will be beneficial and a priority for their personal and professional development, thus increasing their employability and insertion in the labor market." Eurostat statistics, the ratios reflecting the number of young people with disabilities -neither have a job nor have been continuing education or training- are really painful and worrying. For example, more than half of young people in many countries neither have a job nor continue any school. About half of students with disabilites (DAS) and special education needs (SEN) in these countries leave the school very early (ESL). There is, absolutely, there is something wrong about the education of these people/students.We have been working with many partner schools, families and local authorities which employ, care for or educate people/pupils with SEN and DAS. After the needs analysis we made with our partner organizations in our localities and at other levels, we saw that the pupils with or without SEN going on their formal school education are provided the basic academic education they need. However, there is a real need for the pupils with SEN and their families in our localities to have access to a well-arranged combination of bundle of different, innovative, inter-disciplinary, real and cyber methods, practices and applications. After reviewing the experiences and needs of the pupils with SEN, their families, teachers and schools; we saw that this combination should amalgamate/harmonize arts education and SENs in both real environments/classes and in cyber space/web-based communities. The families/care-givers are one of most important cornerstones in educational process of the pupils with SEN. So they cannot be ignored in any attempts aiming any phase of this process or any searches for solution to their educative problems. Because, the paretns and care-givers of these pupils mostly spend more time with them than their teachers. This project, based on a “holistic approach”, came into existence after we evaluated all the needs of our organizations, their participants/pupils with SEN, and teachers, schools and the families of these participants/pupils.<< Objectives >>We will create a methodological framework & practices to combine and amalgamate SEN with arts-activities and these will be also supported by an e-platform and a networking/support website for all the schools, teacher and families of the pupils with SENs.With our project partners:1- ANAMUR ILCE MILLI EGITIM MUDURLUGU from Turkey, a local directiorate of national education focusing on formal school education of and supporting the students with SEN and DAS, and their families2- ASSOCIAZIONE LET'S KEEP LEARNING ONLUS from Italy, a NGO focusing on care of pupils with SEN/DAS and counselling for their families/teachers3- BAYKUS SANAT VE EDEBIYAT MERKEZI from Turkey, an Art Centre focusing on after-school support for education of pupils with SEN and DAS by art and art-activities4- DINSERTA CENTRO ESPECIAL DE EMPLEO from Spain, Social Enterprise supporting people with SEN and DAS in a work-life/employability/vocational education We believe that the methodological works for a transdisciplinary amalgamation of art/SEN/digitalization must also have the dimension of “theory and praxis” matrix together. We will apply and adapt all the theoratical/methodological aspects of our project into the real/practical world and to a digital, cooperative, supportive cyber-community. That means we want to “give life” to the methodologies in both the “real daily life spheres” and “cyber-space”. A-During our project, we will realize/produce a combination of a methodological FRAMEWORK and PRACTICES for amalgamation of art and SEN. Then, these methodological and practical applications will be adapted/transferred to applicable/usable formats in everyday life of the pupils with SNE and their families. B- The methodological framework and the practices of the project will be upploaded to an E-PLATFORM to make transform them an open source, usable, open to access of everybody. C- We will also setup a “SUPPORT WEBSITE” that will serve as a resource for families of pupils with SEN. Its content will be consisting of the adapted “usable/applicable-at-home-formats” of the project practices, activities and methods. At this website, we will also setup a “CYBER-COMMUNITY for NETWORKING” based on “community builder” extensions and modules. “CYBER-COMMUNITY for NETWORKING” will become a sphere for mutual cooperation of all the families, teachers of the pupils with SEN. There are many e-platforms, websites or methodologies aiming educational issues of ""normal"" students or students with ""disabilities"". However, there seems to be no such a HOLISTIC project combining the real-sphere practices & methodologies with an e-platform, a family support website and a cyber-community for cooperation. We want to achieve/produce a multi-faceted/inter-disciplinary, “KALEIDOSCOPİC” bundle of practices and methodological approaches suitable and adaptable to all educative levels and processes. This approach will be produced by important contribution of different actors/organizations from all different sectors/fields very related with and have great importance for the school life and future careers of the pupils/people with SENs.<< Implementation >>1* LTT-1: The participant teachers/pupils/staffs will obtain the knowledge of theoratical&practical fundamentals of interconnecting arts-activities with SNE. They will also learn the ways of adapting their activities to appropriate formats that can be upploaded to the internet and our e-Platform. 2* LTT-2: The participants will learn the relationship of vocational education/employability & SNE with arts activities and art-workgroups by getting involved in seminars, trainings and field visits. They will visit and get involved in the activites especially in working-environment of people with SEN&DAS. 3* LTT-3: the participants wil learn/observe the practical methods of adapting/transferring the project activies into the “support website”, and everyday life, after-school usage of the pupils with SEN&DAS and especially their families caregivers. 4* PROJECT RESULT-1: # A METHODOLOGİCAL FRAMEWORK for amalgamation of art education/art-activities & SEN # A bundle of PRACTICES, LESSONS for testing/supporting the methodological framework # an E-PLATFORM to uppload the methodological framework, practices and lessons and preserving them as an open e-resource open to access of everybody5* PROJECT RESULT-2: # a “SUPPORT WEBSITE” that will serve as a resource for families of pupils with SEN. Its content will be consisting of the adapted “usable/applicable-at-home-formats” of our practices, activities and methods of the project. # This website will also setup a few community builder extensions and modules at this support website. By these modules and extensions we will constitute a “CYBER-COMMUNITY for NETWORKING” and mutual cooperation of all the families, teachers of the pupils with SEN. 6* MULTIPLIER EVENT-1: An Exhibition For Promoting ""SEN and Arts-Activities"" and E-platform7* MULTIPLIER EVENT-2: A Conference For ""E-Platform of Arts-education and SEN"", and Methodological Framework8* MULTIPLIER EVENT-3: A Panel for SEN & Arts/Employability Relations9* MULTIPLIER EVENT-4: A Workshop for Supporting/Networking Website For The Families/Caregivers10* MULTIPLIER EVENT-5: A Conference and an Exhibition For All Project results: Methodology/Pactices, E-platform, Support/Networking Website<< Results >>The expected results/outcomes will have repercussions for different groups and institutes. We can summarize these outcomes in two main groups.1- PARTICIPANTS -Schools, Teachers, pupils with SEN, Families-- Providing the pupils with SEN the skills and knowledge necessary to express themselves through various aesthetic activities music, visual, literary arts, dance, drama and language arts..etc- Providing the pupils to learn and experience the simple or complex interconnections of different areas of life.- introducing a new methodological framework, practical applications & supporting website and a cooperation networking based “cyber-community” suitable for usage of teachers, schools, families -and all others related with SEN, DAS, arts & digital communities #Project results-1-2#- Creating -an open access resource (e-platform & support e-community #Project results-1-2#) for participant people & organizations, and for all who want to access and use our practices, methods&applications. - Adapting/transferring our real sphere activities to e-platforms for daily usage of families, web-based comunities. - Developing a networking cyber-space & virtual community for mutual cooperation & engagement of all schools, teachers, students, families & artists.2- PEOPLE and ORGANIZATIONS other than the participants- Creating a movement/initiative/new possibilities for creation of new networks in educational and human sciences literature for developing/creating new methods to interrelate and amalgamate arts, cyber communities & e-platforms with pedagogy & didactis of pupils with SEN. - Increasing the capacity of all organizations to develop reciprocal links and interrelations among all branches of arts, practices of SEN and daily life activities.- developing skills and vision of local, national, transnational actors/stakeholders/people focusing on arts, by providing them the ways of using their artistic abilities in workshops for people with SEN & DAS.* creating opportunities for all people & organizations in our regions for:- developing new channels for international cooperations & exchanges of good practices; - methodological, practical & digital skills about local and international ways of arts-workgroups.- Providing new clues for organizations at local, national, transnational levels to benefit from innovative digital technologies & educational tools.- promoting the awareness among the people&NGOs in all partner localities about their artistic cultural heritages and methods of mixturing these heritages with European/global heritages - Popularize and sprinkle many humanitarian and European values at all levels, such as democratic participation, expansion of aesthetics to all areas of everyday life, social entrepreneurship & civic engagement...The common essential result of the project will be: The enjoyment of participants of the project from getting involved/taking active roles in all social entrepreneurship activities “to change the life and “to make a difference for themselves and other people -especially with disadvantages”. We believe “Changing the world begins, firstly, by DECIDING to change IT”. The preliminary place to DECIDE to bring a change in our own lives and lives of others is the entrance-gate of the schools and our educational structures. We “do NOT want JUST” to implement a project for our participants, we “DO WANT our project to create results for evoking an “active, civic European citizenship consciousness and excitement wave” among all our people, organizations & regions FOR Touching their society and lives all the people -especially with disadvantages-." - assignment_turned_in ProjectPartners:HANTA ASSOCIATES LIMITED, Namoi, AIJU, SC PSIHOFORWORLD, Associazione Let's Keep Learning Onlus +1 partnersHANTA ASSOCIATES LIMITED,Namoi,AIJU,SC PSIHOFORWORLD,Associazione Let's Keep Learning Onlus,Incirliova Genclik Kultur Sanat ve Gelisim DernegiFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2018-1-UK01-KA204-048114Funder Contribution: 76,997 EUR- "Rationale Our children, including children with special educational needs (SEN), have a right to an appropriate education. The aims of education for kids with SEN apply to all children. Education should be about enabling all children, in line with their abilities, to live full and independent lives so that they can contribute to their communities, equally cooperate with other people and continue to learn throughout their lives. Education was about supporting children to develop in all aspects of their lives – spiritual, moral, cognitive, emotional, imaginative, aesthetic, social and physical. We believed that the active and responsible participation of parents and families was a crucial factor in the success of children with SEN. Parents can help their children to develop an organised approach to learning, build trust and open relationships which will result in a rounded and confident child. This project aimed at developing non-formal education for parents of children with SEN and also for specialists working with children with learning difficulties who wanted to document and be informed on their recovery. Thanks to this project, parents and specialists involved in the educational process of children with SEN directly contributed to the social recovery and integration of our target group.Children with educational challenges had the opportunity to benefit from recuperative activities not only in the school environment – with therapists – but also in the family environment with parents. Methodology The innovative idea of the project started from the fact that the parents of our target group children face different stressful and existential situations (most of the time feeling socially marginalized together with their own children). We wanted to develop a WEB network at European level for parents of children with SEN and develop motivational films of development of positive thinking, because – in some case – parents were showed little concern in their own mental health but had a single goal, ""to contribute to the physical and mental development of their own child"".Together with the idea of developing positive thinking of parents with children with SEN, we developed non-formal education short movies through which they had the opportunity to learn how to work with their own child, being a continuation of the therapeutic process that the child experiences with specialists. Main objectives of the project were: [1] To make of motivational films of positive thinking and non-formal education with therapeutic examples for parents of children with SEN and for specialists wishing to benefit from continuous training; [2] Develop relations between parents-children-therapists community; [3] Improve relationships between parents and children with and without SEN or educational challenges; [4] Raise positive awareness of the local community; [5] Discover the lifestyle of parents of children with SEN; [6] Increase knowledge of new opportunities offered at an EU level, intercultural and linguistic development; [7] Develop lasting partnerships at the European level; [8] Accumulate knowledge and classification of information on children with disabilities; [9] Upgrade of non-formal education through cooperation and technology; [10] Motivate parents to communicate with their own children and to learn new options and techniques; [11] Explore particular strategies and approaches that can be employed in non-formal education [12] Establish adequate mechanisms for review and revisions of non-formal education for children with SEN. Outcomes The long term task of our project was to recognize and learn successful experiences of non-formal education for parents of children with SEN, in understanding that weaknesses could be always balanced by amazing strengths. In assisting the overall process and by striving to implement programs of non-formal education that inform our youth about the complexities and possibilities in the world of which they are part of, the project aimed to empower them to address many challenges in their own lives, providing them with endless opportunities to be inspired by the joys, wonders and mysteries of the natural world and human achievements."
