According to the 2016-2019 Strategic Participation for Gender Equality report, the promotion of gender equality is a fundamental activity for the EU: equality between women and men is a fundamental EU value and a driving force for the EU goal and economic growth.Even in the most developed European countries, prejudices against women continue. This project was created in 2018 to identify these prejudices, to recognize women who make a difference and to raise awareness in the eTwinning platform. Our Twinning project was awarded with national and European quality labels. We have decided to turn our project into an Erasmus + project .The schools in Germany, Belgium and Lithuania joined the schools in Romania and Turkey which are in eTwinning projects. The results of the survey conducted by U.S News & World Report with more than 9,000 women shows that Germany and Belgium are among the countries where women can live most comfortably. Lithuania ranks first in the list of women engaged in science. The groups in mobility activities will be consist of students and teachers. Each group plans to participate in activities with 5 students and 2 teachers. Since the topic of our project is about women, we are considering positive discrimination for our girl students and we think it is appropriate at least 3 girls from each country to participate in every mobility. In each mobility, among these students, at least one student must be the participant who has fewer opportunities. These may be economic difficulties, students with integration problems due to internal or external migration, or participants who have a permanent disability with no problem in traveling. Due to the nature of our schools, our age group is between15-17. In particular, the students who are actively participating in our eTwinning project will be selected. The Council of Europe Gender Equality Strategies is the guidelines of the objectives we wish to achieve in this project. The first strategic aim is to fight against sex stereotypes and sexism.Gender stereotypes limit the development of girls 'and boys', males 'and females' natural abilities and capacity, as well as their educational and professional experiences and opportunities in their lives in general. They can isolate women from working life or “women's jobs” are offered as a separate category. Based on the realities in the countries of our 5 schools, we have planned activities to prevent these prejudices. For example, female participation in the labour force in Turkey is about 35%. Many women's duties do not go beyond being mothers or spouses. For this reason we have planned activities in Turkey on women and social entrepreneurship. It is our purpose to examine the stories from housewives to business life and to feed the social entrepreneur side of our students. Our school in Romania is close to the oil reserves and in this area, women work in many areas, which are generally considered as men's jobs. We will visit them and listen to the difficulties they experience.Belgium and Germany are the in the list of top 10 countries where women can live most comfortably in Europe. For this reason, we will study on women's rights in our schools in these countries. Our Belgian school is preparing studies on wartime women and on women, who lead peace,We will learn about the challenges women face in a well-developed country like Germany. We will share the result of our research with articles and drawings on school notice boards. Our study will be related to science and women In Lithuania, where the number of women who work in science are more than men. We will experience the struggle of science women in relation to gender discrimination. In every mobility, we will try to find answer the question, ‘Is there equality?’. With these studies, we want to show our girls entrepreneurship, how to struggle for their rights, how to avoid the wars caused by men, how to win the spirit of stereotyped ideas destruction, and to show male students that equality can only exist with a common struggle.Of course, with the acceptance of our Erasmus + project, we plan to establish a new eTwinning Project called “Productive women”. The topics in our Erasmus+ project will be studied first on the eTwinning platform. Mobility is short, but eTwinning offers us a longer and more diverse field of study. There is also a webinar section of this platform for the execution and dissemination of our project. In the near term of our project conclusion, each school will prepare a webinar in its own language for other schools in their country. Furthermore two webinars in English will be prepared to spread our project all around the world. For our project to influence as many areas as possible, local activities are planned such as informing national press, web page designing, eJournal creating, School Education Gateway and preparation of article to publish in related fields.

The SWOT analysis done by each partner at their institution, identified the partners common needs and it led to the decision to implement a project about tolerance. Violence, aggression, intolerance, racism, ethnic discrimination are tendencies that can be observed in the behavior of the students from all the partner countries.According to The World Values Survey, Turkey and Romania are the least racially tolerant countries, while Lithuania, Estonia and Portugal tend to be the most tolerant ones. This result along with the different educational and cultural backgrounds of the partners will contribute to the successful implementation of the project. The project aims include: - developing civic competences and increasing self-esteem of students from 5 EU countries-facilitating understanding the concepts “tolerance” and “mutual understanding” at a personal level and in the European context-providing participants with practical examples for acting as civic-minded citizens-raising awareness about diversity and cultural identities promoting social cohesion -boosting the feeling of belonging to the EU community.According to the Article 2 of the Treaty on the European Union, we predict that this international cooperation will prepare our students for living in a multiethnic world being aware of the EU values and respecting diversity. Students will distribute the notion of tolerance and mutual understanding as active civic approaches. For accomplishment the general goal of lengthening the civic mindedness emphasizing the importance of tolerance and mutual understanding impact in everyday life, we decided to apply a new attitude. To achieve the project goals, an innovative attitude will be applied. Linking the benefits of using ICT in education with the Five Factor Model theory will tackle the 5 personality dimensions: -openness to experience: students will be motivated to express their emotions and opinions using Art. They will produce together the movie “Tolerance through my eyes”, scenarios for the Forum theater, digital photos, will make artistic moments for the Festival of tolerance and mutual understanding.-extraversion: team building activities, sports competitions and board games will stimulate students’ assertiveness and sociability.-amicability: working in transnational groups and making products together will develop students’ cooperation skills. The flashcards about the topic, the dictionary of the project, handmade bookmarks and thematic puzzles will be tangible products they will together create. -neuroticism: students will experience (un)pleasant emotions, irritation, sadness, nervousness and vulnerability during the Forum theater/ theater activity. They will become aware of how intolerance is perceived by others, they will develop empathy and they will see how important is to be an active citizen. The use of ICT during the activities together with internal cognitive aspects of learning will bring innovative outcomes tackling learning abilities. The activities are designed to develop the tolerance, mutual understanding, intercultural competences, social and civic spirit. The international cooperation will broaden the cross-cultural knowledge and understanding about the countries, cultures and values strengthening the feeling of belonging to a united Europe.Various 21/24 students from each accomplice (matured in the vicinity of 13 and 18 years of age) will go to the transnational gatherings. Understudies will be chosen before the mobilities, utilizing straightforward criteria chose by each venture accomplice mulled over: English aptitudes, ICT abilities, inspiration and contribution in the school-based exercises. Various 10 instructors will be specifically engaged with the task mobilities, yet groups will be framed at the school level to encourage a superior execution of the undertaking. Roughly 2700 understudies and 120 instructors/grown-ups will by implication be associated with the task. Different members who will appreciate the advantages offered by this Erasmus+ venture are the regulatory staff, understudies' families, instructive staff, instructive guides, strategy producers and agents of the nearby experts. The substantial results of the venture are a sound word reference, photography presentation, timetable of the task, basic film, digital book, cheat sheets, topical riddles, carefully assembled bookmarks, venture website pages, venture logo, flyers, DVD of the undertaking, pamphlet. The impalpable outcomes are the improvement of fundamental abilities, key capabilities, social skyline, entomb social comprehension, group working aptitudes and learning about the subject. All the venture results will be made accessible on the task site. The spread arrangement will contact an extensive group of onlookers and have an effect at neighborhood, territorial, national and universal levels.

Thus, the aim of this project consists of two apparently different directions. On one hand, we intend to get students more committed to learning by having them employ computers in their studying, having as effect the enhancement of their grades and performance. On the other hand, we want them to witness what it means to be European, to show them the different ways of thinking, principles and beliefs. The partnership encompasses 5 schools – The RO, IT, PL, BG, TR. GOAL: to enhance students' commitment, engagement and school performance and to advertise intercultural communication OBJECTIVES The objectives we foresee are: 1. to engage students in their own learning with a view to accomplishing better results and becoming more motivated; (at least 40 percent from the target group will improve their school results) 2. to upgrade students' cross training abilities - numeracy, computer literacy, critical and creative thinking, personal and social capability; (at least 30 percent of students will enhance these skills) 3. to build up intercultural comprehension and tolerance; (at least 60 percent of students will have better knowledge of other cultures) 4. to develop communication skills in English; (the 156 participants, students and teachers, will improve communication skills in English) 5. to promote European principles and bolster unity among European citizens. (measurable by analyzing students' and teachers' behavior towards other cultures, as seen in the post-LTTA feedback) MAIN ACTIVITIES C1 - Feb 2020 - LT - Topic: DIGITAL AGE AND EDUCATION (JOINT STAFF) C2 - May 2020- ES - Topic: Utilizing software to design fun lessons; Customs and traditions C3 - Oct 2020 - BG - Topic: Employing online tools to set up quizzes; MathC4 - March 2021 - GR - Topic: Using online tools to create book trailers; Literature C5 - May 2021 – TR - Digital tools for artwork; Religious Studies NUMBER AND PROFILE OF PARTICIPANTS 120 students aged 13-18 from the 5 schools, appointed from the target group of 250. Project management – consists of monitoring and assessment, risk management, financial management, cooperation and communication strategy that will be implemented for the entire duration of the project. 1 TM is embedded, at the end of the project. A2. Implementation of activities – consists of appointment of participants, preparatory training sessions, participation in exchanges A3. Design of ICT lessons – this will be completed before each mobility by every partner school A4. Release of products - dissemination will be a continuous process that involves the sharing of both touchable and abstract outcomes at local, regional, national and international levels, utilizing various means of communications and addressing school and non-school target audiences A5. Follow-up and sustainability - every school designates a group of teachers to implement the new methods during regular class work. The proficiency is measured comparatively against the outcomes and degree of satisfaction of students who acquired the same contents without the use of digital tools. Afterwards, another school in each area will be supported to include digital tools during class work in the next year. OUTCOMES AND EFFECT Students will enhance knowledge regarding ICT tools for educational purposes, practical abilities related to establishing mini-lessons, story trailers, digital projects, online quizzes, digital artwork, motivation, school performance, get to know another culture, enhance adaptability, self-awareness and awareness of cultural differences which make Europe so diverse, and yet unitary. Teachers will have the opportunity to exchange good practices, teaching methods, ideas and will build up English and digital abilities, organizational skills, teaching methods and tools. Schools will advertise a positive self-image and become more visible in the community. They will acquire project management expertise and will act as an example for other schools to apply for projects. They will also become more united and a positive environment will be created among the members.
