    The project goals were: developing cooperation among the project schools, enriching teaching and innovative skills, arousing curiosity, getting to know the surrounding world, developing language, interpersonal, communication, ITC skills and key skills. A subject of this enterprise influenced on our students’ cultural, emotional, social and linguistic development. Taking part in the project was a chance for the students with variety of intellectual and mental disorders. It enabled them to be successful, present themselves in school and local community. The project ‘’Green Europe’’ was aimed at pupils, also the disabled ones, from European schools, teachers and local communities connected with them. The project tasks were adjusted to their needs and possibilities. A subject of this enterprise was to get familiar and show the unknown places of special natural, illuminating and educational values- enchanting - the partners’ Small Homelands. ‘’Green Europe’’ is for us a small area of primeval nature, often not really know, a safe, diverse and ideal place to reach the life goals, without communication and cultural barriers. We wanted the participants to show their creativity and creative interpretation in this field. Each of the partner got familiar with its ‘green Europe’ and demonstrated it to the rest of the participants. Realising the tasks‘’ We will name again the old forests’’, ‘’Magic Nooks’’ we created a picture of green Europe, which was a summary of our activity. It included students’ diverse products, depicting, discovered, known and creatively interpreted areas by the students. We handed over a message to the European Parliament : ‘’Save green Europe for the future generations’’. The beauty of these places crucial for local communities in the terms of cultural, historical, natural, artistic values was presented. We focused on discovering and getting familiar with those places as well as showing them to the project participants. They were presented to the communities in the project countries. We carried out educational classes with a participation of the teachers and students from the partner countries. The teachers exchanged their experiences, prepared innovative, lesson plans also for disabled students which were mutually carried out. We got to know the teachers with TOC method and organized workshops and a conference dedicated to use TOC tools. The teachers exchanged their experiences, elaborated innovative lessons plans that are jointly realized. They improved their English skills owing to a language course organized within the project. Art- literary competitions, vernissages, happenings, educational projects, debates were held to get information about the places and their role in the life of local communities. We got to know green Europe in a multi –sensory way. Depicting European natural landscapes, we showed a mutual dependence of a human being and the Nature. The participants also got to know the most outstanding artistic, musical and literary works referring to Nature beauty. We used art to express ourselves emotionally. We aspired to develop abilities to express and recognize emotions by organizing classes of interpersonal communication and socially – minded conduct development. The project aims were achieved by means of innovative and active methods such as: a work group, project realizations, a brainstorm and a mental map. 5 primary schools from Poland, Italy, Lithuania and Slovenia were involved in the project. The students of the partner schools and their teachers were main beneficiaries and performers of the project. The effects of the students and their teachers works were shown with a participation of parents, local and education authorities as well as mass media. The project aims and its results were presented during the meetings with the country, education and local authorities. The final products performed and collected in school libraries, on educational webpages, disseminated among teachers in other schools and pedagogy students served them to enrich an educational base, to develop general knowledge about the project countries. The students established individual contacts with their project peers and would continue doing them after the project was over. The participants via mutual contacts got to know a specificity of educational systems in the countries and the knowledge they acquired transferred onto own ground. Due to it they improved a teaching –learning process in the project countries. Green Europe that we discovered in the project broaden the participants horizons, enrich our knowledge about Europe. Owing to the project contacts, we took advantage of the experience of those countries in the field of psychological-educational assistance.

    The main tasks of the project are to: influence on students’ behavior using an art therapy method and develop cooperation among the schools, enrich teaching innovative skills, get to know natural, cultural diversity of the project countries, get acquainted with bio- diversity of natural eco -systems, improve ITC and communicative skills, strengthen self-esteem, create an active European citizenship, develop a sense of empathy, respect , include students with special education needs. In the project an emphasis is put on getting to know natural eco-systems and undertaking actions to protect them. We ask a question ‘’What can I do?! ‘’Students at the age 10 -14 and the teachers from the partner schools will take part in the project. We are going to engage also pupils at the age 7-9, preschoolers and the local communities connected with the project schools.The project subject is a protection of natural ecosystems and applying parts of art therapy that will influence on mental, social and emotional pupils’ development. It will also allow, to influence on a change of unacceptable students’ behaviours. Taking part in the project enables the participants to develop their linguistic and communicative competences. Participating in the project is a chance for students with variety of intellectual and emotional disability. It will enable them to be successful, present their abilities among local and school community. The project “Let us save the paradise gardens of Europe” is aimed at the pupils, also the disabled ones, the teachers from European schools and the local communities connected with them. The subject of this enterprise is to get familiar and present primeval landscapes, their protection and nature’s influence on a human being’s emotional development. Nature with its richness of sounds, colours ,flora and fauna is a safe place soothing negative emotions and ideal to influence on the students’ behavior. We will show the beauty of nature and its impact on our emotions, in the same way we will try to affect our students in order to limit socially unacceptable behaviours, raise their ecological awareness and show that the changes should start from themselves. We want the project participants to show their creativity and creative interpretation in this field. The project participants will be acquainted with the beauty of nature in the partner countries and its positive influence. We will hand over a message:’’ Let us save the paradise gardens of Europe”. The beauty of the places crucial for us in terms of cultural, cognitive and emotional value will be presented. We will focus on discovering and getting familiar with those places as well as showing their role in a human being emotional development and nature’s impact on eliminating unacceptable behaviors,We will also propose ways of protecting these areas . We will carry out educational classes with applying parts of the art therapy with a participation of the teachers and students from the partner countries. The teachers will exchange their experiences, prepare innovative lesson summaries, also for disabled students ,which will be mutually carried out. The students will improve their English skills owing to individual contacts with the peers and ICT devices. Art- literary activities, vernissages, happenings, educational projects, workshops, educational trips, ecological and language activities, will be held in order to get information relating to nature ‘s impact on our emotions and get acquainted with the ways of the nature protection. We will aspire to develop abilities to recognize endemic and introduced species, express and recognize emotions by using nature’s colours and sounds. The participants will also get to know the most outstanding artistic and musical works referring to nature beauty. Art will be used to express ourselves emotionally. A mutual dependence of a human being and the nature will be shown as well. During the project task realization we will focus on improving the competences that are crucial for getting to know and understanding the surrounding reality. The project participants will be got acquainted with the art therapy method and using it as a therapeutic tool in order to limit students’ behaviors that are not acceptable in societies. Using the richness of nature, combining it with the methods of the art therapy will allow the project participants not only to recognise, control their emotions, raise their ecological awareness but also act better in the environment and among the society that will contribute to better knowledge acquisition. The project tasks realization will be simultaneously performed in the project schools. Each partner will enrich the project of their own ideas that will contribute to realising project assumptions in a better way.

    The project ‘In the Paradise Garden of Europe’ is aimed at the pupils, also the disabled , the teachers from European schools and the local communities connected with them. The tasks are adjusted to their needs and possibilities .A subject of this enterprise is to get familiar and show the unknown places of special natural ,illuminating and educational values- enchanting ,reputable not placed in the guide books areas- the partners Small Homelands. ’Paradise Garden of Europe’- it is for us a small area of primeval nature with its richness of flora and fauna, often not really know, a safe diverse and ideal place to reach the life goals, without communication and cultural barriers. We want the project participants to show their creativity and creative interpretation in this field. Each of the partner will get familiar with its ‘paradise garden’ and then will demonstrate it to the rest of the participants. We will mutually create a notion about ‘Paradise Garden of Europe’, which will be a summary of our activity. A jointly done poster ‘Paradise Garden of Europe’ will come into being. It will include students’ diverse products depicting ‘paradise nooks’-discovered, known and creatively interpreted by the students. We will hand over a message:’ Save it to the future generations’. We will focus on discovering and getting familiar with those places as well as showing them to the project participants. They will be presented to the communities in the project countries. We will carry out educational lessons with a participation of the teachers and students from the partner countries. The teachers will exchange their experiences, will prepare innovative, lesson summaries which will be mutually carried out. They will improve their English skills thanks to a language course organized within a framework of the project. Art- literary competitions, vernissages, happenings ,educational projects, debates, will be held in order to get information relating to the places and their role in the life of local communities. We will promote those places by preparing environmental publications. We will get acquitted with our paradise gardens in a multi –sensory way depicting European natural landscapes, we will show a mutual dependence of a human being and the Nature. The participants will also get to know the most outstanding artistic, musical and literary works referring to Nature beauty. We will use art to express ourselves emotionally. We will aspire to develop abilities to express and recognize emotions by organizing classes in interpersonal communication and socially – minded conduct development. The project goals are: developing cooperation between the project schools, enriching teaching and innovative skills, arousing curiosity, getting to know the surrounding world, shaping activeness conduct, developing language , interpersonal, communication, ITC skills, getting to know the natural and cultural diversity, shaping ecological conduct, create a sense of being an European citizen, shaping empathy ,respect, tolerance and acceptance of cultural dissimilarity conduct, developing key skills. They will be achieved by means of innovative and active methods such as: a work group, project realizations, a brainstorm, mental maps, decision trees and others. Elements of social therapy, art therapy and multi-sensory getting to know the world will be introduced to the project. Nine countries have been involved in the project. These are primary schools, high junior schools and a vocational school from Poland, Latvia, Austria, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Hungary, Greece and Romania. The students of the partner schools and their teachers will be main beneficiaries and performers of the project. The effects of the students and their teachers will be shown with participation of parents, local and education authorities as well as mass media. The Internet data base will be prepared and it will serve to disseminate the project results among Internet users. The final products performed and collected in school libraries, on educational webpages, disseminated among teachers in other schools and pedagogy students will serve them to enrich an educational base, to develop a general knowledge about the project countries. The students will establish individual contacts with their project peers and will continue doing them after the project is over. The teachers and the students via mutual contacts will get to know a specificity of educational systems in the countries and the knowledge they will acquire will transfer onto own ground. Due to it they will improve a teaching –learning process in the project countries. The paradise nooks, which we will discover due to the project will broaden horizon, enrich our knowledge about Europe. Owing to the contacts with other countries, we will take advantage of the experience of these countries in the field of psychological-educational assistance.

Use of the richness of nature, combining it with the methods of the art therapy will allow the project participants not only to recognise, control their emotions but act better in the society that will contribute to better knowledge acquisition. The project tasks realization will be simultaneously performed in the project schools. Each partner will enrich the project of their own ideas that will contribute to realising project assumptions in a better way.
