<< Objectives >>With this pilot project, we want to involve migrants more actively in the society in which they have ended up. We do this by offering an educational program in school museums for non-formal groups of migrants. The idea behind this is that school museums are easily accessible because of their familiarity and contact can be made with the target group in a playful manner. The goal is to promote the integration and welfare of migrants who because of displacement, often have fewer opportunities.<< Implementation >>After researching the specific needs of the target group and the opportunities offered by the pilot museums, we design an educational program for migrant groups. The program will be implemented as a test and then all results will be thoroughly evaluated. In the final phase, the results of the Winsome project will be shared with a larger community. In all phases, we actively use a digital platform for consultation, exchange, and communication with other interested parties.<< Results >>At the end of the project, there will be a thoroughly developed and tested educational program that can be used in conjunction with evaluation results by the participating museums and by many others. The results will also be useful in other sectors dealing with integration of migrants. The results are shared on a digital platform that will stay active. The ultimate goal is to contribute to a society in Europe where migrants, whatever their origin, feel comfortable and have equal opportunities

Iin the first activity of our project, we will set the framework and the theoretical background of the projejct. In the second activity we will focus on practical methods for the design of outdoor education activities and programs. This activity will focus on presenting the three programs that the partners have created.<< Results >>The changes the pandemic brought has also imposed changes in the way museums operate and the need for new programs implemented with the philosophy of outdoor education that in an experiential way ""breaks"" the walls and is implemented outside schools and museums.Through the implementation of the proposed project and the dissemination of the results we want to give ideas and good practices for the utilization and promotion of the respective spaces as monuments of the common European culture."

European countries are increasingly becoming ageing societies and as such the potential for social isolation increases. In two thirds of European countries, over 1 in 10 persons over 65 either have no friends or do not socialise with their friends at all. This is significantly detrimental to their health and well being and those sufferers of Alzheimer's disease may find this isolation rapidly onsets once symptoms persist. Alzheimer's disease is a physical disease that effects the brain. The symptoms caused include memory loss, anxiety and difficulty thinking. It is a progressive disease and so gets worse over time. Globally, nearly 44 million people have Alzheimer's disease and the largest numbers are found in Western Europe. Therefore, managing the symptoms and supporting European families and carers effected is a very important issue.Complementary therapies are those that work alongside conventional therapies. Complementary therapies include massage, aromatherapy, art and also AAT (animal assisted therapy). There has been an increasing popularity in the use of such therapies and therefore a growing amount of scientific research such as with Altherton et al 2016. Not only can these therapies create meaningful experiences, but they also reduce anxiety and can delay the impeding symptoms of Alzheimer's disease (they are also low-cost meaning they are easily accessible for many sufferers). There are four countries dedicated to this Partnership. The objectives are to:- Share knowledge of complementary therapy types and benefits for the cognitive improvement and relaxation of those suffering with Alzheimer's disease and/or its symptoms. - Develop a bank of resources and references for carers and support staff to refer to and use,- Create a forum for carers and support staff to share ideas, challenges and outcomes of the complementary therapies. The Partnership seeks to reach out to a number of levels that support those with Alzheimer's. That includes European families, carers, educational support workers, care homes and charities. As such, partners are expected to create a bank of resources but also a forum so correct guidance and recommendations can be given to carers. We aim to create workshops for EKEDISY (Museum workshops in Greece) and Larende Anadolu Lisesi (Turkish school and local care home), similar to the Alzheimer's Society group in Stoke, UK which offer regular therapeutic interventions for regional suffers. We also hope to use Wielkopolskie Stowarzyszenie Alzheimerowskie (Polish Alzheimer's Society) to guide the content of our resources and provide practical ideas and solutions. They have a large sphere of influence nation-wide so could complement practice across Poland. Lastly, Enso Group (UK prject coordinators) can use the project to provide a more inclusive webpage and gain insight and experience in the field. They can therefore also create more opportunities to work and train with adult education organisations in the future. The results will include lessons and resources and an online forum which will be the culmination of 3 meetings in each participating country, and a main learning event in the UK. The content of the bank of resources will focus on the use of techniques appropriate for family members to use but also recommendations for the use of professionally qualified therapists. It will also highlight the evidence and outcomes for the use of complementary therapies. Finally the Partnership will create an open-licence forum on the Start Academy website so that those touched and challenged by Alzheimer's disease across Europe, can communicate to share best practice and ideas to successfully manage and deter symptoms through the intervention of complementary therapies.

Despite a widely held belief that the UK’s vote to leave the EU in 2016 would lead to a fall in immigration, the figures show migration continues to increase in 2019, number of migrants to the UK was 626,000 (2018), a 10% increase (ONS).The EU demography and inequality reports show that ‘The share of population with a foreign background will continue to grow’ in Europe and that ‘Migrants tend to be at higher risk of poverty’ (p. 24) This means that : European societies are becoming more and more multicultural and our future depends on our ability to develop and sustain intercultural dialogue, to build the society of tomorrow. N.Park, the head of the ONS population estimates unit, said the increase in net immigration continued to offset the net effect of a fall in the number of births and rise in the number of deaths. Understanding and accepting cultures and customs of other civilizations is an attitude that each of us must adopt if we want our countries, and Europe as a whole, to be places of economic and social well-being. Intercultural dialogue can become an instrument to identify and anticipate any negative effects of the growing gaps between EU-born and foreign-born people. The concerns with such gaps are that they limit migrants’ & refugees’ abilities to participate in social & cultural life. This can lead to disengagement, resentment and feelings of not belonging in the society. Intercultural dialogue can counteract these feelings by enabling migrants & refugees to make their voices heard in the public sphere and have a meaningful impact on their everyday lives. In Nov.2015, the council of Ministries of Education, Youth, Culture & Sport, stated that the intercultural dialogue through culture and arts developes an important role for the integration of refugees/migrants & improve the mutual knowledge. With this project we will ‘explore the ways arts can help to increase migrants’ participation in cultural & societal life as well as to promote intercultural dialogue & cultural diversity’. ''Creative Arts promoting Equality, Diversity & Social Inclusion '' is a participatory art Project that focuses on digital media , storytelling , creative thinking & drama , is then to involve migrants & refugees in the very design, organisation and implementation process . This project will be coordinated by UK in the partnership of Turkey , Italy , Romania & Greece; also, share a similar past of crossroad, have had experience in migration (in-out coming): it will give 30 youth an opprotunity to be directly involved through training activities in Greece & Italy & 50 indirectly through local activities. During Project life cycle we aim to reach more than a thousand young people with migrant background or refugees. We will through the partnership share and confront an intercultural dialogue and to strengthen the knowledge and acceptance of diversity within society, building resilient processes of empowerment and participation, we will transform challenges into strengths and opportunities bygiving a voice to the outcasts of our society & at the same time reaching out in our communities, fighting fear, prejudices and radicalization. Thanks to the universal language of arts, indeed, we will achieve our main goal that is to promote the inclusion and empowerment of young migrants, refugees & asylum seekers in Europe. The tangible outcomes will be ; a WEBSITE:where the objectives of the project , the outcomes , project activities , videos/photos of the meetings , LTT will be uploaded - Training material from the knowledge of the partnershio: In order to guarantee a good knowledge of the instruments, tools and strategies, the experts of each partner of the project will complete the training contents of the face-to-face training through the provision of more content. In this way, they ensure that the contents that are transmitted are adequate & that the learning is performed correctly and completely, especially with regard to the competences related art & creative workshop management for inclusion. -A '' TRAIN THE TRAINER '' booklet which consists of modules on behavioural issues and A VLOG on which the young people will be able to share their artistic products to improve also digital creativity.By the end of the Project youth will have gained the following competences: - Communication in foreign languages - Digital competence- Learning to learn- Social & civic competences - Sense of initiative & entrepreneurship - Cultural awareness & expression - part of EU Ref.Framework Key Competences.Young migrants and refugees will be empowered through arts and will this provide them with the opportunity to advocate for their rights and their role/position in society, whiles our staff in each partner will share and confront ideas, methods and practises to improve the training offer. Our aim is to enrich the understanding of the common EU values as well as appreciating the origins & acceptability of the diversity within the EU societies.
