Increasing urbanization brings serious social, economic environmental risks. Lack of awareness of the environmental processes and incompetent dealing with them also applies to countries that have already gone through a period of transition and are among the developed countries. In the light of given information people questions the origins of their food and making informed food choices for decades. The slow food concept (with its hundreds of thousands of members and supporters) has changed our relationship with the foods in our lives.Training of VET learners on how to adapt Slow Food Movement to the education project is a “Exchanges of Good Practices” project through partnership among different organizations as Mezitli Board of Education (Lead Partner), Professional School of Agriculture ""Nikola Pushkarov"" (Bulgaria), Fatma Aliye Vocational and Technical High School (Turkey), Istituto Professionale Servizi per l'Agricoltura e lo Sviluppo Rurale"" G.Fortunato"" (Italy) and DEULA (Germany). All these organizations are well established and experienced bodies on food centered fields and agriculture issue and school education. The overall objective of the project is to train the students on education about the slow and sustaibnable food applications. The project foresees the sharing of competences and knowledge between the students and teachers belonging to different organisations. More precisely, the German partner Deula will make available its knowledge organising a training session. During the training session Slow Food Farming will be taught by German instructor, students from partner organisations will improve their knowledge and will be provided with an unexpected and innovative point of view on their professional career. On the other hand the other partner organisations will hosts other schools’ students and teachers to make them know how the Slow Food issues work in their schools, regions and countries, also exploring how Slow Food Movement could be applied to this sector. The Slow Food Movement project will improve the capacities of partner organisations to gain experience on from field to fork process of plenty of slow foods. The project connects public and private actors from different European cities to promote the ‘slow food’ concept. The expected results are listed according to areas of activities carried out. For example concerning the courses/trainings (LTT) on Slow Food Movement (SFM) and the final completion the expected results are the following:-A new way to learn processing differend kind of foods-A new attractiveness of the VET schools-New competences and skills for the students that will learn the utilization of Slow Foods before their friends that will learn this subject only at university-A consequent attractiveness of these students coming out from schools with strong skills and competences for enterprises and in general for the job market.-The creation of a network between students and the possibility confront themselves with foreign friends with consequent result of an equal European competitiveness in the job market.A total of 36 students and 9 teachers will benefit from the project with a total of 4 LTT activities.
