We take water for granted. We waste it. 71% of the Earth surface is covered by it and yet so many countries are unable to provide citizens with clean , safe drinking water. Water scarcity is quickly becoming the issue of our time because it is an abstract concept to many but a stark reality for others. It is necessary for students to understand and appreciate the importance of this colourless, odorless and tasteless element. All the countries participating in this Project are lucky to inhabit places with ready access to fresh water. We do not have problems of supply and we do not have to walk long kilometres to get it for our own consumption, needs, livestock, agriculture and industry. We are fortunate, but a short distance to water is, however, not always a positive factor. Our project arises from the need to raise awareness among the students towards the care and respect of our environment and the control of this resource, which we do not give the true value it deserves but it is a real treasure. The OBJECTIVES we intend to achieve, although varied, are significant:1.To carry out a research study to check the situation of our own hydraulic resources and those of our partner countries and find different solutions to improve the situation, once the problems in each area have been analysed. We will also take a walk through history to discover how the use or misuse of water has evolved up to the present moment2.To get our students to develop a responsible attitude towards global environmental problems so that in the future they become adults with a critical sense3.To promote teamwork, help among equals, the acceptance of different opinions and mutual respect4.To learn different methodologies, which will contribute to the students’ as well as the teachers motivation. With this project we will also encourage the continuity of the pupils in the educational system , avoiding early dropout and arousing their interest in the learning process5.To support and reinforce the teaching and learning of foreign languages through exchanges with students and teachers from other countries6.To contribute to the development of European consciousness through material and educational exchange and the mobility between the different countries7.To improve mathematical competence through the interpretation of data and charts8.To encourage the use of ICT to promote innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship activities 9.To learn how to organize their own mobilities, fostering entrepreneurship and life skills such as: digital, mathematics, social, autonomy and personal initiative10.To improve the image of our schools as an entity open to the European CommunityAll the PARTICIPANTS in our project share a common view of the purpose of education in a European context. The project is addressed to students aged 15 to 17 and will have a duration of two academic years (2020/2022). The partner countries are: Poland, Serbia, Finland, Turkey and Spain (Coordinator). Although the number of people participating in the mobilities is small, we plan to include all the students at School as well as teaching and non-teaching staff, families and Local authorities. The more people who are aware of the importance of the good use we give to water, the more benefits we will obtain.ACTIVITIES are grouped into 5 blocks:1. Water cycle 2. Water in agriculture and industry 3.Responsible consumption: Water in our homes and at school 4. Water storage transport for final consumption and treatment 5. Water recycling We mean to use an active and participative METHODOLOGY trying to keep into the educational system all those students at risk of early dropout, encouraging teamwork, respecting everyone's opinions by using the slogan:"" Debate, DO NOT argue!"" and using updated new technologies: Google Site, Google Forms, Edpuzzle, tricider, bubbl.us and padlet. Not only will we use a Project-Based-Learning approach, but also Problem-Based-Learning,Thinking-Based-Learning, Competence-Based Learning and Cooperative Learning so that students develop critical thinking and creativity, improve their problem-solvig skills, increase their motivation and develop thinking skillsOur RESULTS:1.Posters and murals2.Exhibition of the pictures presented in the photography contest3.A web page and a Twinspace that include all our activities4.A guide about the importance of the rational use of water5.Interactive Game to raise social awareness of the benefits of a good use of water and the respect for the environmentWe seek an IMPACT in our society. Our project is open-ended, it can be reused, modified, extended and disseminated by anyone interested in it. Local Institutions and other schools will be informed. We think the dissemination is fundamental if we want to create a better world. This awareness of protecting and caring our planet will be the most potential longer term BENEFIT"

Our partnership consists of 5 countries from Finland, Turkey, Italy, Portugal and Latvia. Our primary target group is the students who are indifferent to school, don’t attend to school regularly and tend to leave school early. Through the project activities, we will engage the students in school related activities and internalize the idea that they can be successful and have a good future by learning how they can put their ideas into action using entrepreneurship skills. Therefore, school and school related activities will make more sense to them. Our methodology is activity-based and solution-oriented. That’s why we have planned our activities relevant to our methodology. With the project activities, the students will be able to practice the entrepreneurship skills which they have learned only from books. Solution-oriented as they will be more hopeful, active and contribute to the workforce and economy in the future. We believe that real examples and success stories from real life will inspire them effectively. Thus, we will arrange meetings with entrepreneurs and the students will interview with them, visit the Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the local area of each partner school and learn about different opportunities which are supplied in the partner countries. Each partner will identify a role model entrepreneur who has succeeded his/her idea into action, which will definitely inspire the students. The teams in each partner school will select a different business enterprise area and the other partners will be a marketing area for their enterprise. Therefore, the students will learn different kinds of enterprise areas, market their ideas, develop their horizon, creativity and inspire each other. Apart from different enterprise areas, they will also create one common enterprise and each group will be a kind of a branch of this enterprise. The groups in their own country will do activities to develop their branch. At the end of the project, the most successful branch of the enterprise will be selected. This will foster the students to create more remarkable and original activities to enhance the success of their branch.Approximately 200 students and 30 teachers will participate in the project. The students will prepare visual presentations, create the project logo, poster, e-magazine, a real pop-up enterprise, join live events and Skype conferences, visit Chambers of Commerce and Industry, take part in surveys and design project dissemination tools and Erasmus corner in their schools. The teachers will be the mentors of the students, guide them to obtain best results, arrange meetings, carry out the eTwinning project, form their national and international project teams, conduct surveys and write evaluation reports. The school boards will supply convenient environment for the project teams and activities, support them, take part in the meetings, help with the dissemination activities and facilitate the bureaucratic work.Entrepreneurship clubs will be established as extra-curricular activity in the partner schools. These entrepreneurship clubs will organize an event in their schools on the dates which will be identified by the project partners.During the determined week, each partner will do activities to inspire the other students and also prepare presentations to share on the project dissemination tools, so the connection between the partners and also the sustainability of the project will be continued after the project is completed. In addition, these clubs will be in contact with local Youth organisations to create an entrepreneurial mindset along together, which will enable the local Youth organisations to benefit from the objectives of the project. All the activities will be shared via visual presentations in English by using web2 tools to be able to share the objectives of the project in the national and international dimension. There will be two dissemination teams which are national and international. The project dissemination coordinator will check the quality of the presentations and warn the partners about the deadlines. All the partners are experienced in Erasmus+ -projects, enthusiastic and open to collaboration. Each partner has accepted all their responsibilities. Thus, we are sure that we will obtain our desired consequences through our strong partnership.

We believe that through our project and activities to be done,we will create more inclusive, safer and tolerant school climate in which all the students will be encouraged to take active part in school life, regardless of status, role, and where diversity is an advantage not weakness. Our project will be complementary to a previous eTwinning project. As we obtained satisfying results,we decided to expand the project through Erasmus+ opportunities. The students aged 15 to 18 will be involved in the project. The students in the risk group who are indifferent to school, don’t attend school regularly, tend to drop out , and the ones with fewer opportunities will be also included in the project. Thus,we will contribute to reduce the rates of early school leaving and absenteeism at partner schools. The methodology of the project is activity-based and solution oriented. Approximately,200 students and 50 teachers will take part in the project.Different student groups will be created for each activity. Thus, more students will participate in the project.A common five-episode story will be created via a web2 tool. Each episode that will be converted into series will be shot in each LTTA. We will not consider human rights superficially, but we will raise awareness about all the articles in declaration of human rights on the school communities as any kinds of human rights violation may emerge at schools. Therefore, we've divided 30 articles into 5 parts as we will organize 5 LTTAs. In each LTTA, determined articles will be processed. We believe that through the activites, the students will not only internalize the articles, take responsibility to foster them, but also develop their communicating and writing skills in English, improve their ICT,collaboration, creativity and critical thinking skills. Thus, our methodology is solution oriented. The teachers will become methodologically updated, develop their skills in terms of integrating project based learning into their teaching methodology, be capable of instilling in students a sense of respect toward other human beings and inspire them to become educators and activists who will assist in defense of human rights. The partner schools will become a member of EU community that share a language of equality,non-discrimination,inclusion, respect, dignity, and participation that is crucialto the goal of achieving a more peaceful and just global society. The dissemination plan has been created in the dimension of national and international. more_vert assignment_turned_in ProjectPartners:Budapesti Gépészeti SZC Öveges József Technikum és Szakképző Iskola, CEP ANTONIO DE ULLOA, The Corporation of NCG, Gazi Anadolu LisesiBudapesti Gépészeti SZC Öveges József Technikum és Szakképző Iskola,CEP ANTONIO DE ULLOA,The Corporation of NCG,Gazi Anadolu LisesiFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2020-1-UK01-KA229-078908Funder Contribution: 122,706 EURIn this project, students will develop their 21st century skills of communication, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking through activities focused on important global issues: human rights, substance abuse and climate change.Activities under each theme will use all four skills. For example, they will communicate through new media, online and face to face, with their peers in other countries to work together, and negotiate the target global issues, and also they will collaborate with new people, who may have completely different cultures and points of view on each topic, and agree on their common action plan. They will research human rights, substance abuse and climate change and analyse their findings, which will develop critical thinking skills. Students will also create a project logo, posters and presentations, an e-magazine and design the project website, all of which will develop creativity. We aim to improve students’ 4C skills, which are executive function skills for tasks such as planning, organizing and strategising and helping students develop self-regulation, working memory and cognitive flexibility which will encourage them to learn new ideas and develop their social-emotional capabilities. Therefore, 21st century skills are a necessary to prepare our students for success in school, work and life.Global awareness is an appreciation of interconnected worldwide environmental, political, economic, and social relations and their consequences. The responsibility must be demonstrated through active and constructive involvement with global issues individually, through our communities and in concert with people around the world. Thus, as 4 partner schools, we will raise awareness in our students about human rights, climate change and substance abuse which are in the top list of global issues, and also we will encourage them to take action for these issues collaborating with their peers from different countries. Students experiencing human rights violation are afraid of going to school, have low academic success and tend to drop out. Therefore, activities covering human rights have been planned to make students to internalize human rights values, which will supply partner schools a safer, inclusive school climate, and reduce bullying and other negative behaviours, and also decrease in the rates of absenteeism and early school leaving. Researches show that there is definite link between teen substance abuse and academic success. Addiction leads to lower grades, higher school absence and high potential for dropping out. We will lead students to understand the danger of substance abuse. In addition to threatening our very existence, climate change is having harmful impacts on our rights to life, health, food, water, housing and livelihoods. Therefore, students must learn that climate change is no longer just of interest to scientists, but every individual has responsibility to save the world. Through the project activities, students will take action for tackling climate change.200 students aged 16 to 18 and 30 teachers will take part actively in the project. There will be Four LTTAs. The first is for staff training, in which teachers will be trained by experts about innovative methods to develop students’ competences in terms of 4Cs, ICT and also to integrate these methods into project methodology. The others have been planned as short-term exchanges of groups of pupils in which students will execute the planned activities under the name of ‘Global Issues Awareness Club’ that will be established in each partner school. There will be club meetings in which students will present their presentations on role models activists, do brainstorming ,create logos, decide action plans for tackling discussed global issues, have the opportunity to express their ideas in front of a group consisting of students from different countries. Apart from the activities to be done in LTTAs, students will create project logo, e-magazine, Erasmus corner, presentations for the project dissemination tools, design a project website and complete surveys.Teachers will guide and support students to reach desired results and quality outcomes, conduct surveys, carry out the eTwinning project, form their project teams, write evaluation reports. The school boards will make official appointments, organize meetings, and facilitate the bureaucratic work.Dissemination plan has been planned regional, national and international dimension. Informative meetings will be organized. Project news will be released in regional, if possible, national press and media. All the outcomes will be shared in the project dissemination tools which are project website, Youtube channel, eTwinning project journal and official school websites. The ‘Global Issues Awareness Club’ will continue beyond the 2 year project as an extracurricular activity at partner schools.
