The ''Young, active and health'' project was implemented from October 1, 2016 to March 31, 2018 jointly by: Uczniowski Klub Sportowy Conrad (Poland) and GENC GIRISIM EGITIM GENCLIK VE SPOR KLUBU DERNEGI (Turkey). The partners of the project will be: University of Sport in Gdańsk FSK Sports Academy & FSK Sports Center in Ankara, Marshal's Office of the Pomorskie Voivodeship in Gdańsk, the City of Gdańsk and the City of Ankara. The main purposes of the project was: - elaborate new ways of teaching, for the purpose of improving education in sport, in the context of informal education; - create a digital network of partner organizations and to facilitate liaison between organizations for the purpose of exchanging experiences and good practices in sport amogst young people; - initiate the development of youths' social skills (such as: communication, coping with stress and emotions, and ability to work in a team); - raise the level of involvement in youth volunteering and to strengthen the role of youth leaders in amateur sports; create a sport and recreation classes program based on the participation of the youth, responding to the needs and expectations of young people; - encrease the level of involvement in amateur sport and physical activity amongst young people; - equalize opportunities in access to sport through individualization of sport and recreation classess and to adapt it to physical abilities of particular participants. elaborate more efficient methods of management in sport. The project involves collaboration in the sector of informal education. As part of the program a team of sport coaches, teachers, and youth leaders based on the purposes set above was jointly elaborate a program of sport and recreation based classes with elements of judo. The new program tested during the classes with the youth (in total 1080 hours of classes will be provided in the two countries). Amendtments and improvements implemented throughout the duration of the project. Organizations in partners' countries was implementing good practices in the field of working with the youth during international project meetings. Moreover, the partner organizations will create a digital network, which will be used for exchanging experencies and good practices. The final result of the project was a publication showing elaborated, and tested amongst partner organizations program of classes, which used by physical education teachers and sport coaches as an inspiration, while organizing sport classes. The project attended by: 8 teachers and sport coaches, 6 youth leaders, 2 workers of the management personel of organizations, 151 young people aged 13 to 24 years old (who will participate in test classes) from two countries of the European Union. Furthermore, a group of 50 physical education teachers, 60 sport coaches, sport animators and youth leaders, and 1500 young people from Poland and Turkey, which cooperate with approximentally 30 organizations in total will be indirect recipients of the project. The results of the project (including the publication) gave to workers of educational institutions and non-governmental organizations working in the field of common sport amongst the youth, during informal contacts. The developed methodology of organizing and conducting sport classes will be an inspiration for sport coaches and teachers working in the area of youth sport.

The project assumes cooperation in the adult sector. As part of the project, the team of sports coaches based on the objectives set out above, will jointly develop a program of sport and recreational activities. The new program will be tested during seniors activities (a total of 1620 hours of classes in three countries is planned). Improvements and improvements will be implemented on an ongoing basis. Organizations in the partner country will implement good practices in the field of senior work during international project meetings. In addition, partner organizations will create a digital network that will serve the current exchange of experiences and good practices. The final result of the project will be a publication presenting a program of classes developed and tested in partner organizations, which will serve as inspiration during the organization of sports activities for sports trainers.The results of the project (including publication) will be provided to employees of educational institutions and non-governmental organizations that conduct senior sport activities during informal contacts. The developed methodology of organizing and conducting sports activities will be an inspiration for sports trainers in the field of senior sport.

<< Background >>Far Beyond the Barriers project is based on the belief that each student should be given the chance to be accepted, valued and have equal opportunities to develop its skills and career future without discrimination despite the level of abilities. Under the light of UN Sustainable Development Goals 4 Quality Education For All, Our partnership admit that as long as there are children and young people who have fewer opportunities not to benefit from quality education like their peers because of their own personal and learning difficulties, we need to put our thinking cap on and take action for equality and inclusion in our schools and classrooms.We as four partners from three different countries ( Poland, Romania and Turkey) address the real demand on inclusive education for quality education within this project. Despite the inclusive education has been increasingly recognized at international levels, there is not a common way to apply, the mainstream education systems and inclusive education, even the term of disabilities and difficulties may differ from country to country, For this project we use “learning difficulties” as an umbrella term for the learning difficulties and disabilities such as dyslexia( a common learning difficulty that can cause problems with reading, writing and spelling),dyscalculia (a specific and persistent difficulty in understanding numbers which can lead to a diverse range of difficulties with mathematics.), dysgraphia (a specific learning difficulty in writing) , attention deficit and hyperactivity (is a condition characterized by inattention, hyperactivity and impulsivity ) need to be taken into consideration. According to statistics in Europe 15% of the population is dealing with some sort of learning difficulties. Meanwhile large numbers of individuals with that 15% are at the same time suffering from any other disorders as well.According to the European Dyslexia association;20-40% of the persons with dyslexia are also having dyscalculia, 20-55 % of persons with developmental language disorder are dyslexic. 10-20% of persons with dyslexia are having an anxiety disorder, 2-14% of persons with dyslexia are having a depression ,8-18% of persons with dyslexia are having an attention deficit and/or hyperactivity disorder.In order to achieve inclusion in education and move forward according to the Inclusion strategies of Europe, it is crucial to include those students with learning difficulties mentioned above because they will also be the actors of our future world like their peers without any difficulties and take active role in society only if they are accepted with their difficulties earlier and provided individualized education plan according to their needs in regular classrooms. In this regard special attention has to be paid to the methodological support and training of teachers in order to go along with a complete transformation of the teacher’s role in the classroom by changing the teaching strategies as well as adding the peers, parents, families and all relevant stakeholders in the process of inclusive education.<< Objectives >>We want to achieve more inclusive classrooms in our partner countries to offer quality education for all while respecting diversity, different needs and abilities in our classroom. During the project and after the completion of it, we would like to contribute to the European Union of Equality Strategy for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities 2021-2030 with our project’s impact since inclusive education has been put high on the education agenda at EU level.Within this project, we will encourage the partner countries to exchange best practices and to learn from each other because it is highly indispensable to hold a deep and open discussion on how to make our education system more inclusive for all with or without any difficulties. Although our main target groups are students with learning difficulties, we would like to open a frame for gifted students who have attention deficit and hyperactivity. These children are often misunderstood and their shinny parts may not be understood because of their ADHD. For this reason we choose STEAM education as it is multi disciplinary and allows students enough flexibility to think creatively while gaining them necessary 21.century skills which are prerequisite for their future life to have a decent job and life. “Far Beyond the Barriers'' project’s main objectives are;Promoting awareness and fighting stigma against the students with LDs because this group of students, if they are provided with greater knowledge and practice, are more than capable of closing the gap between them and their peers. Promoting and modelling positive attitudes and respectful language in schools/ classrooms for social and emotional inclusion.Ensuring necessary assistance to the teachers because learning difficulties are often misunderstood even by teachers. Teacher’s lack of knowledge and understanding about LDs can lead to poor education and care of these students.Promoting using different teaching approaches, disciplines and tools for teachers such as STEAM ( Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) education approach, Creative Drama, Game based Teaching ,Sport and providing them a teacher guide ( R1) better to include students with LDs in mainstream education.Delivering an online course with 5 modules for teachers that teachers can benefit from to have the greatest impact on students.To achieve all these objectives, school managers/ teachers need to be more confident in identifying and making changes to the school environment to be able to positively support the integration of students with learning difficulties. Teachers as the main actors of our education systems need to have education and training in how the inclusion in school / class can be achieved and which strategies/ approaches/ techniques/ methods and tools can be used to achieve that goal. "The project team consists of 24 people aged 18-30 from Poland, Hungary, Turkey and Germany. The project implementation will focus on the interest of local youth communities in the subject of cultural diversity and migration. The main results of the project will be:1. Film - a series of interviews with young migrants living in the local environments of partner organizations, which will enable 40 young people from migrant environments to tell their story, motivation to change their place of residence, to present their own culture to a wider audience.2. The program of non-formal activities in the field of intercultural education, which can be conducted by youth for youth. The developed program will be presented using the following media:- paper and PDF brochure (containing suggestions for educational games and activities, materials to be printed and used during the course of the course, outlines with the proposed course of the course, descriptions of various cultures and cultural systems - including materials collected by members of the initiative group during private travels) .- a series of 8 on-line tutorials (containing suggestions for educational games and activities that can be used as part of intercultural education).3. The ""Festival of a Thousand Cultures"" event presenting a range of topics related to different cultures present in Europe, the importance of respect and tolerance in our local environments, the possibility of involving young people in social activities, which will be the subject of the initiative group's work throughout the entire project. In addition, the event will be enriched with meetings with young, local travelers and representatives of the world of science (UG employees) involved in research related to intercultural education.4. Strengthening the international youth cooperation network, including 24 youth leaders from 4 Program Countries. As part of the project, new tools for communication within the network will be implemented, such as a Skype meeting, Google drive, group on Facebook. An official website of the project will also be created, which after the end of the project will become a website of the youth network created during it. The initiative group, through the joint implementation of the project during practical activities, will develop effective cooperation schemes that can be used during oil joint international activities for youth.The main groups involved in project activities will be:- youth initiative group (24 people),- 4 mentors supporting the initiative group- 40 young migrants from local communities of partner organizations,- 320 people aged 15-19 who will take part in the cycle of intercultural activities conducted by the initiative group,- about 500 participants of the ""Festival of a Thousand Cultures"",- about 800 recipients of educational tutorials prepared by the initiative group,- about 2000 recipients of the film prepared by the initiative group."

The project involves establishing cooperation between 3 vocational schools from Poland, Turkey and Romania, a higher school from Bulgaria and a non-governmental organization operating in the area of ​​supporting young farmers from Turkey, to enrich professional education in the field of agrotronics. As part of the project implementation, the following activities will be carried out:1. Developing at the inter-sectoral and international level a program of classes in the field of precision agriculture using computer aided (compliant with the ECVET system) possible to implement as part of compulsory and supplementary classes in the classes of vocational schools with agrotechnical and related specialties.2. Creating an international, including vocational / technical schools, colleges, NGOs and enterprises from Poland, Turkey, Romania and Bulgaria, on-line platform, on which descriptions of tools used by partner organizations within education in the field of agrotechnics will be placed. The platform will also be a place for communication and joint solving of emerging problems. The minimum assumed coverage during the project implementation phase is 24 teachers, 4 academic lecturers, 4 NGO employees, 10 enterprises and 10 farmers + 60 teachers in the dissemination phase.3. Creation of 24 spaces for 24 teachers, 4 academic lecturers and 4 NGO employees to exchange experiences and good practices in the field of agrotechnics with particular emphasis on the subject of precision computer-assisted agriculture, which should contribute to the widening of the range of tools used by youth workers.4. Implementation of practical training in 3 vocational schools in Poland, Turkey and Romania, extending digital competences of students in the following areas:* the use of GPS technology in creating maps of soil diversity in the field area, determining the density of sowing density and the dosage of fertilizers;* carrying out plant protection treatments with machines equipped with a computer and using GPS receivers;* harvesting using a combine with a yield meter.5. Raising the competences of 24 teachers of practical training in the agriculture agrotechnics inthe individualisation of didactic methods adapted to the groups in which they belongyoung people with fewer opportunities, including:* young people with reduced intellectual potential;* youth with mild mental retardation;* youth from refugee families.Project target groups:I Direct participants:1. 24 teachers of practical training in the profession of agrotechnic and agricultural machinery from Poland,Turkey and Romania (8 teachers from each school).2. 4 academic employees of the Faculty of Agriculture and Industry UNIVERSITY OF RUSE ANGELKANCHEV from Bulgaria, who will act as experts during the preparation of the curriculum.3. 4 employees of GENC GIRISIM EGITIM GENCLIK VE SPOR KULÜBÜ DERNEGA supportingyoung farmers in starting their careers who will act as experts duringprogram preparation.II. Intermediate participants:1. 10 enterprises from the agricultural and industrial sector from Poland, Turkey, Romania and Bulgaria.2. 10 farmers - practitioners from Turkey.3. 68 students from Poland, 71 students from Romania and 74 students from Turkey (213 people in total) whothey will participate in test classes in the field of precision agriculture implemented underproject.4. 60 vocational school teachers from Poland, Romania and Turkey who will be recipients of activitiesdisseminating the results of the project.
