The idea is to socially include these students through music as official motivation tool and to raise the awareness of the influence of the music and musical engagement on school and life success.Music and education are two words that are often used together in many studies and all of the have so far provided evidence that they are strongly connected. The only thing everyone forgets about are the teachers handling this universal language called music. Usually it all stops at psychology experts and therapy. This project offers a total new overlook and a whole new approach to the proven connection between these two these two terms. Everyone is talking about making the classroom a safe place for the learners, but again when the learners make problems due to their difficulties and bad social and health backgrounds they are sent to experts to solve the problems. The experience of working with this group of students has shown that it slightly leads to solving the education problem and most of the students facing this kind of problems become drop outs and isolated. The aim of this particular project is to provide instructions and raise the awareness that it will be better if we try to solve the problems inside the classroom. Off course everything should be done according to the situation needs and not every student will be helped, but if we take into consideration that music is a food for our souls and sometimes it feels like it is our only friend as we can express ourselves in full, we can assume that many of these students can be taken back to the school desks and will gain self confident which will lead to liking the school and it will surely influence on their grades and socialisation.During the project there will be a short documentary (case study) involving two Roma students who will talk about their experience after starting music and how it has affected their overall development with a special focus on school success. The message of this documentary will be clear and precise and in addition to music it will include a message of anti-discrimination, antigypsysm, but there will also be a message to communities and parents to support and believe in their children. There will also be a study involving at least 300 students aged 6 to 16 (60 from each country involved as a partner and ) who will be working on an ongoing and previous basis in order through statistics and structured interviews to be shown how music affects regular school attendance, self-esteem, school success and social inclusion. This study will cover Roma students, students with autism (Asperger syndrome) and students from the countries where the organisations involved in the project work and operate. It will be translated into Macedonian, Spanish, Turkish, Slovenian, Italian and English. The project will also issue a short guide for teachers working with students who are at risk for Early School Leaving and Social Isolation. The idea is to make it easier for teachers and professional services and to have a starting point on how to incorporate music into the daily education of these students in all school subjects. This guide will also be translated into Macedonian, Spanish, Turkish, Slovenian, Italian and English. The ultimate goal of all activities within this project is to include these students, to motivate them to stay in school, but also to gain skills thanks to music and within music. All organisations are working on this issue and will monitor the progress during and after the project, but the long-term goal of the project is to make an initiative for music education from an early age exclusively with music teachers instead of class teachers and music to be a compulsory subject with more hours than it is now per week in each school. In addition, all of these activities will have a major impact on students from vulnerable categories completing their education properly, leading to a reduction in drop-outs in general in the countries involved in the project and beyond, but it can be also worked out with all other students not facing serious problems and to influence their school success on a positive level. The results of the project will be available and will influence other similar studies and initiatives for social inclusion through music and music against ESL, as well as on using the music as a motivator because of all the magic it offers.

From past to present, lots of developments have been occured, and this science has become an inseperable part of our daily lives. Mathematics, having this importance troughout history, is infamous for the concern and fear to which is felt by students in not only Turkey, but worldwide. Mathematics is considered to be a hard area for not only students to learn, but also instructorsto teach. (Öcalan, 2004)The purpose of this paper was to analyze the results of the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), which is an internationally standardized assessment that was jointly developed by participating economies and administered to 15-year-olds in schools. PISA, which is administered by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), aims to find answers to the questions such as “whether students are well prepared for future challenges, whether they can analyze, reason and communicate effectively, and whether they have the capacity to continue learning throughout life”. In this paper, the performances of Turkish youngsters who took PISA exams were investigated. According to the results of this investigation, Turkish educational system was evaluated. The limited developments which are thanks to the positive individual participation of the partners can be observerd by checking the PISA results according to years. According to the academic research, the highly successful countries about mathematics are providing: firstly teacher raising programs (Simola, 2015), making the use of technology and information effective and studies of extensification of them and by means of regulations to make students feel at home, providing equal education opportunities. (Kivirauma & Ruoho, 2007) So as to give the countries the chance of making the necessary regulations of their educational programs, making up the deficiences, and seeing their success internationally; our project is to be conducted. Main purpose of the project is about success of students in mathematics. In our project, we have 3 national and 4 transnational partners. The national partners are Hacettepe University Informatics Institution, Necmettin Erbakan University Mathematics Department and FEDA Education-Informatics Corporation. The transnational partners are IDEA Education from Czech Republic, BragaMOB from Portugal, Pangeaeducation from Poland and Istituto Comprensivo Castel Frentano from Italy. In our project, there will be 5 TMs and 5 LTT activities. All the activities implemented in the project will be predicated on cooperative study method. The methods and the activities they will be implemented within the context of project can be listed like learning by practising and experience, case method, role-playing, brainstorming, snowball method…etc. The main purpose of the project is, by means of alternative approaches, to improve the partners' current mathematics education. Another effect that is to be reached with dissemination events is, in accordance with the aim of the project, creating regional awareness.By means of creating a web site, educational softwares with different learning enviroments and interesting learning activities and enviroments with game-basis in it; an open access output will be provided for all of the participants and those concerned. Moreover, with the activity handbook for teachers, instructors will have alternative mathematics book to implement in class. This book will consist of six chapters, and will be prepared by an academic editorial. This book will be an efficient educational source due to having gathered educational experiences of the participants, as well.

The skills and behaviors which acquired in this period affect significantly the adult personality structure of the child, behavior, lifestyle and perspective on life. The physical, mental, linguistic, social, emotional, behavioral and psycho-motor developments that the child gains in this period, continue to affect their life throughout their lives. Therefore, pre-school education is one of the most important stages of the education process. In the current days which digital technology constantly developing, the digital education has been indispendable factor of the education process. For this reason, many countries, especially Europe have started to reshape their education systems according to the needs of the digital age. And the education policies have focused on developing the digital skills of students. The European Commission has determined 6 priorities for the years 2019-2024. (https://ec.europa.eu/info/strategy/priorities-2019-2024_en). One of these priorities is the ""A Europe fit for the digital age (Empowering people with a new generation of Technologies)"". The Comission has also published the Digital Education Action Plan (2021-2027) for digital skills in 2021 and beyond. The aim of the plan is making education and training fit for the digital age and to improve the basic digital skills and competences from the early age. Digital education is also an important matter in the education policies of our country. The significant objectives have been determined in the section of the ""Digital content and skill-supported transformation in learning processes"" in the document of the ""2023 training vision for the powerful tomorrows"" , which published by the Ministry of National Education. One of these goals is; “The printed materials with digital materials will be associated, the support materials related to their effective use of them will be provided, the using of the digital materials as the main teaching material will be disseminated”.(Objective 1, page 74). The European Commission Digital Education Action Plan (2021-2027) and the ""2023 training vision for the powerful tomorrows"" of our country, reflects an accurate and realistic need analysis in the development of digital transformation and digital skills in education. In this context, the provision of digital conversion in education has been necessity in terms of increasing the success in education, preparation of the children to the future and to gain them 21st century skills. However, we have some problem in the process of the digital transformation which has been performed rapidly. The shortage of digital training modules is one of the most important of these problems. Scholengroep BrusselFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2020-1-TR01-KA226-SCH-098133Funder Contribution: 128,736 EURThe project is a strategic partnership involving exchange of good practices. It aims to mitigate educational losses caused by the pandemic by supporting preschools teachers and parents who are the main providers of education for young children. It will realize this aim by focusing on digital tools and teacher-parents relationships. It will initiate cooperation between different stakeholders-universities, local authorities, preschools and a counseling centre and facilitate sharing expertise and exchanging good practices.During the lockdowns throughout Europe, many children had to stay home and were deprived of stimuli which is instrumental for their academic, psychological and social well-being. Teachers and parents had major difficulties finding appropriate online resources for using at home. The project addresses crucial needs of preschool institutions with professional help from universities and commits to providing hands-on experience for the educators. In this regard, the project aims to* support teachers of pupils aged 3-6 years by developing their ICT skills at least by 25% and providing resources* improve preschool teachers’ capacity to supplement education at home by increasing the number (at least %30) and quality of pedagogical activities involving parents * increase the variety of practices for preschools by %35 through promoting exchange of good practices The project aims to achieve following tangible results:* interactive eBook of good practices in preschool education. The contents will be collected from partner organizations and associated partners. This free and open online educational resource will enable preschool teachers to share online resources and to incorporate them into their own teaching. * a massive open online course (MOOC) to train preschool teachers to develop their digital competencies and soft digital skills. The content will be specifically designed for preschool education and include modules such as technology supported pedagogies, online content creation tools, and game-based/gamified instructional designs. The course will be piloted in partner preschools.*a project website, social media accounts, a logo and an eTwinning project. For the proper management of the project, there will be 3 transnational project meetings held in Turkey, N.Macedonia and Belgium. Within the project, a total of 27 teachers of pupils aged 3-6 will attend 3 short-term training events in universities and counseling centre. At local level, all preschools will carry out various school-based and local activities. LTT 1 is organized around the concept of exchanging good practicesLTT 2 is on pedagogical issues focusing on parent-school interactions and how we can develop them. LTT 3 the final selection and evaluation of good practices. With the interactive eBook of good practices and MOOC, more than 800 teachers will be reached in partner and associated organizations. Teachers of pupils aged 3-6 will incorporate digital online technology into their teaching practice better. They will use newly developed interactive eBook and implement activities at home in collaboration with parents. They will better address the needs of their pupils with innovative approaches. The project will also benefit pupils of target preschools, their parents and the whole communities of partner preschools. All partners will be able to connect with their stakeholders to promote the quality of preschool education. They will have the opportunity to learn from other cultures and other societies as well as to establish long-lasting professional relationships, broaden horizons and promote multicultural values.Through this project, long-term, open access and state-of-the-art digital outputs will be developed and opened for access for everyone. The eBook will be freely and easily available for everybody interested to download, to write comments, to give reviews and to add new content. In addition, the MOOC produced within the scope of the project will be a permanent course on a virtual platform (Anadolu University’s Akadema). In the long term, we expect the main outputs of the project to be disseminated and be part of curricula in European countries. It is also expected that they are part of the teachertraining course at universities.
