Three groups of young women decided to carry out Transnational youth initiative because they are all facing the same problems in their country (Italy, Croatia, Austria) – gender-inequality on the labour market. The project name Sisterality is a mix between Sister and Solidarity and leads already to the purpose of the youth initiative. With this project we wanted to create an international network of girls and young women to promote their employability, to encourage them for labour mobility and to create awareness about the topic “gender-inequality on the labour market” through a campaign. Through non formal learning and organization of activities we develop knowledge that will possibly be helpful to improve our employability on labor market. Every group of each country had 4 female participants and one coach for each group. Young people from three EU countries (Italy, Croatia, Spain) have found that in order to expand the scope of their voluntary work need knowledge and skills on the useful use of ICT technologies. Even though most of them use it on a daily basis, we’ve found that they are not being used outside of personal use as a tool for social change or career advancement. Since partner organizations use ICT technologies in their work and provide a great deal of information and advice to young people about sexual orientation, sexual identity, safe sex and reproductive rights through new technologies, we have designed a project that will enable group of 5 young people (1mentor and 4participants aged from 18 to 30) from each country to have opportunity to connect and get new knowledge in ICT technologies (making infographics). This knowledge would then be used in the preparation of activities related to informing the general public about safe sex, sexual identity and sexual orientation, aimed primarily at young people. Croatia, Italy and Spain are in the same level with sexual education. There is no systematic implementation of education for youth and it is still taboo in public. On the other side young people are then left to learn about sexuality from internet and other media, which is mostly misleading. As we are all part of European union, and we face same problems, we will join together in order to share experiences and act together toward positive change. This will also contribute to rising awareness of EU citizenship among participants. Group of participants will make small research of sexual education in their countries (three researchers- one in each country), publish results, and make infographics with informations in the field of sexual education in order to inform their peers on the topic which is taboo in all three countries. The final event in each country will show to the public what was done during the project. Participants will have support of mentors, but will carry out planned activities by themselves. We will include Blended learning - one 7 days training in Croatia including topic of sexual education and 4 online sessions with topic of how to make research, how to make infographics and how to use platforms for creations of infographics. General objective: Raise awareness and informing among youth in the field of sex education and providing them support in taking initiative. Aims: To create international network of young people from partner countries who will act together in informing young people about safe sex, gender identities and sexual orientations, and in sharing knowledge, experiences and examples of good practices. Rise awareness among young people of safe sex, gender identities, gender equality and sexual orientation. Straighten civil society and promote active participation among youth. Empower and support young people to carry out their own initiatives. Increase digital skills of young people.

Our project is situated in the context of the European Year of Cultural Heritage (as well as thinking about Rijeka that will be the European Capital of Culture in Croatia in 2020) and the contribution of Cultural Sector to the employment of young people. How is this project contributing to this main aim of the youth employment? Through a European platform with online tools for youth workers, employment agents and volunteers who work daily with young people. For this reason, we identified the need to train youth workers, employment agents and even volunteers to equip them with the necessary tools to initiate and direct activities aimed at young people, such as employment workshops and personalized guidance. The project includes the exchange of good practices, the implementation of the network at European level to facilitate the work of young people with skills related to the cultural field, the training of youth leaders and the development of a European platform with online tools for youth workers and employment agents to inspire them and contribute to the dissemination of work on cultural heritage among young people. The promotion of work in the field of cultural heritage is relevant, since statistical data show that young people are very motivated to use their energy and creativity to develop work related to European cultural heritage. The transnational dimension represents the core of our project, because it offers the possibility for young workers from different parts of Europe to share experiences, learn what others do, think about how to adapt the methods of others in the workplace and implement their achievements. To get the project objectives, we are six partners: Teatro Sol y Tierra from Spain, Diverse Youth Network Association from Hungary, Kocaturk Training and Consulting from Turkey, Regain from France, Meraki from Croatia and A.I.D from Greece. Among the six organisations we'll get our common aims and will help European youth because young people are, also, our heritage.

“YEP! Youth Enterprises and Public sector for a sustainable society” is a “Partnership” project under the Key Action 2 of the ERASMUS + programme. It will be realized in Italy, Turkey, Greece and Slovakia and it will involve at least 1000 youngsters. It aims at encouraging the cooperation among the 3 basic sectors of the society (private sector, public sector and civil society) to promote its sustainable development as a whole. It is based on the idea that the implementation of socially responsible actions (as foreseen by the corporate and social responsibility (CSR) and social entrepreneurship (SE) concepts can help to develop positive synergies leading to the establishment of sustainable partnerships between the private sector, the public sector and the civil society. As a continuum, these partnerships will lead to the creation of new opportunities for personal and professional development of young people facilitating their entrance in the labour market and fostering youth employability. The project foresees a series of activities that will contribute to reinforce the knowledge about CSR and SE among the target groups of the project in the 4 selected countries. At the same time different activities for youth empowerment will be organized at local and international level. In this frame youth workers and young people directly involved will gain competences, ability and authority to make decisions and implement change in their own lives and to be of guidance for other individuals and/or organizations. The activities implemented at local level will be leaded and managed by the selected youngsters that would have been trained beforehand. The meaning and importance of “cooperating” will be emphasized also by a phase of the project when, during the implementation of one of the local activities, a selected group of youth from each of the countries involved will cooperate in each country of the partnership for researching, analysing and collecting data on CRS and SE creating the content of the outputs of the Project: 1) Social entrepreneurship and corporate responsible map: mapping CSR and SE in our countries to provide an overview of the current level of socially responsible conducts and related activities of the private and public sector in our countries 2) Toolkit for social entrepreneurship 3) Report on CSR effectiveness 4) Booklet about possible policies and strategies for SE and CSR that can be undertaken in the future . The project will last 18 months from 1st February 2018 to 31st July 2019 The planned activities – to be implemented in Istanbul (Turkey), Trikala (Greece), Cagliari (Italy) and Nitra (Slovakia) – will actively involve a variety of partners coming from different sectors, such as regional authorities, municipalities, training institutions, civil society actors and enterprises. The stakeholders will be mainly involved in the youth work or working under CSR and SE criteria. The project wants to involve directly over 400 young people in the 4 countries and thanks to the multiplier effect we aim at involving over 1000 youth.

Emotional competence, which characterizes emotionally intelligent individuals, is a basic competence. It includes various skills and abilities, such as emotional self-awareness, emotional self-control, self-motivation, empathy, and social skills. These refer to the ability to influence, communicate, collaborate, resolve conflicts and work as a team, and are applicable to all human interactions. The researchers confirm that young people tend to use ICT and social networks to communicate and express themselves, and companies, for their part, highlight the lack of youth skills for communication and active listening as one of their main issues faced when integrating the new generations into their work teams Therefore, there is a gap that can generate problems, especially when we talk about new technologies. The communication of emotions based on ICT has its own codes and language. The use of visual elements (such as emoticons, gifs, video, images…) and new words (gamer slang, Anglicisms, abbreviations, new meanings of words and idioms…) shape communication. And while emotions are universal, the interpretation and understanding of these elements of language is subjective and can lead to misunderstandings.Within this context, the LoeL project aimed to empower young people so that they can develop their emotional competencies, identifying and expressing their own emotions; communicating successfully with other people, both online and offline; and being aware of the limits and potential of ICT-based communication, successfully managing their emotions in professional settings (including volunteer experiences, in the company field or being entrepreneurs). The specific objectives were to:- Develop empowerment and training resources that allow young people to identify the origin and nature of emotions.- Provide a varied set of activities that combine real communication methods and channels based on ICT with work and personal environment scenarios.- Know the linguistic expressions that in different cultural contexts express basic emotions.- Learn appropriate verbal and gestural indicators to send effective messages in dialogues, negotiations or conflict situations.- Provide companies and organizations that work with young people with training material that allows them to improve the personal and work environment.LOEL's target groups are two:- Young people.- Youth workers. The project produced 2 main results:1. The LoeL APP is an interactive software designed to train young people in the identification, management, communication and understanding of their own and others' emotions. It is available for Android and iOS mobile devices and focuses on developing the emotional literacy of young people. It offers a series of games specially designed to raise awareness and develop specific skills that are highly useful in communicating emotions in personal and professional settings. From a gamified approach, the App displays a total of 10 different types of games, divided into 7 categories. A reward system is included as a motivator, which works by providing the player with experience points and tickets to customize their avatar and room. The level system includes 4 statuses: Beginner, Talented, Expert, and Master.2. The training of youth workers took place in October 2019 in Bilbao, around a 25-hour program, carried out over 5 days, based on the thematic blocks:- Some theories and many practices on Emotional Intelligence. Emotions and their link with other basic skills, such as empathy, assertiveness, and communication.- Informal methods to facilitate learning processes. LoeL concept. Knowing the LoeL APP.- Let's talk emoji. Jargon and the transformation of language in the s. XXI. The influence of ICT.- Audiovisual narrative, the art of telling stories through illustrations, photographs, and videos. The assessment of the LoeL App was very positive, as reflected in the results of the two testing phases carried out with young people and youth workers. Its application in informal and non-formal educational environments was highlighted by the latter, as one of the great added values of this product. The creation of the Guide for Youth Workers, and the availability of the materials and resources generated for the training carried out is also an additional element that facilitates the implementation of youth empowerment initiatives in the field of emotional management.
