Working as an “incubator” of aesthetic and reflexive initiatives in the context of Adult Education, as well as boost of energy in arts and crafts, at a local level. The participants will, therefore, be artists, craftsmen/women, ONG workers and volunteers, whom will test the Upcycling approach based on a linear sharing of knowledge. The expected outcomes are:IO1Training Guidelines that will have a methodology proposal on Adult Education; adapted to vulnerable people such as the elderly, people with disabilities and migrants, based on the promotion of upcycling workshops;IO2 Educational Videos Toolkit which, made available on an online platform, will contain 18 videos with upcycling techniques presented step by step.IO3 Sustainability plan that will present future scenarios of social entrepreneurship as a way to continue the project. In addition, the project also provides transnational meetings, a transnational training in an artistic residency format that will bring together 27 participants. Multiplier events will also be organized in artistic residency formats, one per country.During the project, the direct beneficiaries will be 212 people, of which 137 artists / craftmen / educators / technicians and 69 learners. In producing innovative adult education resources, it is expected that two years after the end of the project, a group of 150 organizations will have used them. On the other hand, they will also be used by a diverse target group, from technicians and / or artists who use the materials to streamline their own sessions to adults with fewer opportunities (elderly, minorities, people with disabilities) who use the videos in a do-it-yourself logic.

When CCI moved on digital environment providing public with free cultural contents, we all valued its impact on people quality of life, while the sector experienced the loose revenues, usually generated by events in presence. Contemporary the Pandemic impacted on youths future more than other aged groups. In this context Partners have joined forces and experiences to design and test an INNOVATIVE edutainment PROCESS responding to both issues: crisis of the CCI and youths loose of perspectives. The project scope is to nurture youths’ creative talents and provides youths cultural workers with both a creative educational frame and an entrepreneurship sustainable model that can be scaled up.The mechanism is based on DISTANCE LABS, where youths and cultural workers jointly produce: (i) a CONCET street MUSICAL, notably an INCLUSIVE show where the performance matters less than the concept conveyed, (ii) a WEB MAGAZINE to give voice to young creative leaders, (iii) the network of young Creative Leaders Of Europe.Youths (18-30 y.o) are selected independently from the backgrounds: both youths already active in the creative sector (musicians, dancers, writers) and those who never exploited their creative attitudes, youths with economic and those with no economic possibilities, youths already engaged in society and those living at margins. All can take part to a real INCLUSIVE and creative edutainment experience. The outcomes are transferred to stakeholders of the youths and the creative sectors, by means of: (i) Guideline to unleash creative potential of youths, (ii) Handbook to support young creative professionals and entrepreneurs to generate revenue form the digital environment and (iii) a Roadmap to scale up and replicate the edutainments process. All the story is told via multimedia and creative products (video, vox-pop and posts) edited together by youths and experts, with the final aim of providing stakeholders with tools necessary to take over CLOE results. The direct involvement of youths in producing the musical and developing the web magazine contents is the core of the edutainment process, which unleashes digital and entrepreneurs’ skills of young people and equips creative leader to drive the transition from the new normal to an actual inclusive future where no one if left behind.

Some of the difficulties identified, refer to the lack of knowledge of two dimensions: the value of ecosystems, the environment in general and rivers in particular; and the role, legitimacy and participation of people in water management processes. In general, there is a great difficulty for people to report and actively participate because these processes and mechanisms are not very “userfriendly” and are formalized in technical languages that are barely perceived by people. These issues become even more relevant in terms of adult education, since they had access to less content related to environment, participation and citizenship.Rosto Solidário, through some of its members, has followed the work of REDE INDUCAR in the Douro Vivo Network Project (and #MovRioDouro) which involves a wide network of organizations that are intervening in the Douro hydrographic region, the largest in the Peninsula Iberia and Portugal, in order to, among others, combat the major threats to the territory's ecosystems and livelihoods, reverse the lack of knowledge about the river and the state of the riverside ecosystems, and combat the reduced involvement of stakeholders in the protection of the hydrographic region. Within the scope of it, recommendations were produced so that citizens:- use water for consumption efficiently and sparingly;- enjoy natural spaces and denounce illegal or unsustainable practices;- participate actively in the planning and management of local water resources. However, the majority of people still experience a great deal of environmental and citizen illiteracy at various levels:- on the one hand, the value of ecosystems, the environment in general and rivers in particular is unknown, and on the other hand the role, legitimacy and participation of people in water management processes;- there is a great difficulty for people to report and actively participate because these processes and mechanisms are not very “userfriendly” and are formalized in technical languages that are barely perceived by people.- these issues are even more relevant at the adult level because, in their passage through school, formal education, they had access to less content at the level of the environment, participation and citizenship. In more specific groups of adults, such as the elderly, minorities and people with disabilities, the situation is even worse. The situation is similar across the border in Spain and in the same Douro basin. On the other hand, Sicily is, in the context of the Mediterranean basin, one of the areas most affected by climate change.<< Objectives >>This project aims as a GENERAL OBJECTIVE to reinforce the appropriation, by people, of water as a human right and a common good and the mobilization of citizens for the participation and defense of environment in a context of climate change.Within the scope of this project it is intended to achieve the following specific objectives:Develop innovative methodologies for adult education based on the combination of recreational and playful experiences in rivers and other natural spaces, the acquisition of relevant knowledge about the environment and participation and behavioral changes and civic involvement;Enhance adult education, and as a way of inclusion and promotion of their active participation in society, the web 2.0 tools as a pillar of lifelong learning and integrating outdoor recreational experiences, non-formal education and a learning and activism digital;Reinforce the learning processes based on gamification logic so that, in addition to knowledge and skills, attitudes and behaviors are developed in favor of the defense of environment and active citizenship.<< Implementation >>- six project international meetings (three in Portugal, two in Italy and one in Spain)- Production of Project Results (developing and testing it):1) ""Enjoying Rivers"" – APP to enjoy, learn and protect the river2) ""Environment and participation"" Educational tool kit3) ""Rivers for all"" - PARTICIPATORY WEBPLATFORM- two training and learning activities:C1 Building a commun floor - Rivers and Participation in Portugal;C2) Training of Trainners in Espanha)- three multiplier events (International Conference in Santa Maria da Feira, National multiplier event in Valladolid e National multiplier event in Palermo)<< Results >>The expected outcomes of the project are the following:1. Intellectual outputs- ""Enjoying Rivers"" – APP to enjoy, learn and protect the river- ""Environment and participation"" Educational tool kit- ""Rivers for all"" - PARTICIPATORY WEBPLATFORM2. Training for educators- Building a common floor about Rivers and Participation- Training of trainers3. Local activities for adults4. Impact in partner organisations: the four partner organisations will be more capable to develop activities of adult education with people with fewer opportunities on environmental level and based in proposals of gamification and online platforms and apps. All partners in the project have complementary skills related to the experiences, contexts and target groups that they work with: INDUCAR has been working with communities in a logic of empowerment, participation and autonomisation; Rosto Solidário has experience with people in social exclusion risk, the elderly, youth volunteers and adults in the development of campaigns, educational trainings, catalogs and board games; ASPAYM has a broad experience in the field of accessibility and working with people with disabilities, including elders and in the development that are based in board games and digital tools; and CEIPES with the work with migrants and refugees, but also with youth and people in rural areas and skills at dissemination of results, digital platforms and e-learning.All activities of this project will be adapted and thought taking into account the participants' profiles will fewer opportunities (elder, physical disabilities, migrants, refugees and people in situation of poverty and social exclusion). Accessibility is presupposition of all the project."
