Young European citizens have discovered how rich and amazing the cultural heritage at the base of their own identity can be. Italian and Polish students, in the guise of free Argonauts on the Web, have explored their culture in order to represent it to their European friends through the use of digital tools by which they documented language, traditions, customs, architectural and naturalistic sites, without forgetting art, music and actuality, as well as the memory of the two nations. A journey, first virtual then real, towards the culture of another country to be able to capture its beauty and then to fully represent it through the creation of engaging outputs such as, for instance, video-games set in sites of interest to ""live"" the ""deeds"" of those who made history. To draw together two nations once belonging to two geographic areas distant from a political and socio-economic point of view, to study their entry into Europe, the recent past and, above all, the events when the two peoples shared common values, is a further element contributing to grow up better citizens of a better Europe. The two-year project included four short-term exchanges of students, journeys of eight days each, for twelve pupils at a time, useful for enhancing its outcomes in terms of knowledge of cultural heritage, digital and communication skills, civic and social competences. The two other mobilities planned for the project’s second year didn’t take place because of Corona virus emergency, but the activities were carried online to the completion of the expected outputs. The main learning activities, of an experiential and highly interactive kind and managed in first person by participants, were the following: • creation of video tutorials in Italian and Polish languages (exchange of online lessons) • programming and creation of two video-games set in Italian and Polish UNESCO sites (Castel del Monte and the Wawel Castle) • creation of an ""interactive"" Map of each mobility trip (at various points on the map correspond links to videos of guided tours, photos, historical and tourist information in English) • a contest for the digital creation of a project logo • printing of the logo on T-shirts and bags, ""gifts"" for the participants • creation and exchange of videos, padlets, quiz and web quests on their town and country • creation and 3D printing of an artefact as a symbol of the cultural meeting between Poland and Italy• students engaged in the role of tourist guides in the visited World Heritage sites. Learners improved their skills in using video editing softwares and applications (Edpuzzle, Powtoon, Animoto, Slidely), coding (Scratch), for cooperative learning and content presentation (Padlet, Calameo, Coogle e Thinklink), for the creation of tests and surveys (Quizizz e Google), for design of artefacts and 3D printing (Tinkercad)."

Education help offer is addressed to children from low financial status, dysfunctional, disadvantaged and insufficient care families. Planned activities are respond to the needs of the school and family community and serve to solve the problem of the education of the poorest children and they are stimulating their socio-cultural activity. The purpose of the cultural workshops conducted within the activities of the community center is to support families in preparing children for independent living, development of proper social attitudes by taking care of them during their free time and organizing educational and preventive activities. Priority in this regard is also influencing the pupils the way that they could deal better with problem solving, improve their social skills and that they will be involved in constructive ways of spending free time. The main goal of the project is cultural and social stimulation of 60 children who attend to school community centers. What is important is developing basic skills in pupils, early care and preparation for the proper functioning in the peer group, local community, family life, homeland, Europe and the world. Through cultural workshops, in other words education through play, we will try to shape the personality of children, develop the skills of creative expression and affect the evolution of intellect. Nowadays cultural education has become one of the most important forms of work with children. Such activities sensitize pupils to the beauty of words, music, give joy, learn culture. Working on the performance, the choreography, the show develops their cognitive abilities, memory exercise, correct pronunciation, enriches general knowledge. Contact with real costumes, musical instruments, props, theater puppets and masks, specialized painting equipment becomes a source of knowledge. Emotional involvement of pupils in the magic of culture - by entering into subsequent role, preparing performances, proper characterization will have influence on the development of the students interests in this field and the discovery and targeting of this passion. Moreover, the project aims to reinforce the professional profile of 16 teachers who are employed in schools participating in this project. Due to the work done in the project , teachers will acquire additional skills in working with recalcitrant children. Their knowledge will be expanded to elements of cultural education. Thanks to work on modern equipment, purchased under the project, innovative workshop programs will be developed to work with children from day-rooms. Exchange of experiences with teachers from partnership schools will also allow to notice the need to change the existing individual routine activities, which from now on will be executed more efficiently as it will be mastered. As it is known, the quality of schools is the sum of the actions of individual teachers. Thanks to higher-quality of teachers work, the development of schools as institutions focused on multi-faceted educational progress of students will be guaranteed. Due to the direct cooperation and exchange of experiences among the teachers during the courses of study, workshops and trainings, the necessary competencies will be enriched and developed. In this case, ‘team teaching’ will become another possibility to create work culture in which teachers acquire the space to develop their personal vision, derive energy and motivation to their own development, and above all for the development of their students.Nowadays, the role of the school community centers is enormous, they fill a gap between the school and parents, who often do not create appropriate living conditions for their children. The reason may be lack of funds or time, which results in the inability to provide the child a meal, help in learning or the best possible emotional development. The functioning of the community centers combines the competence of the school with the responsibilities of parents. It often support creativity and entrepreneurship of their pupils, activating them by organizing extra-curricular activities, and their primary goal is the broad interests of the child. It prepare the youngest for independent life and try to shape them with appropriate social attitudes. Furthermore, it develop children's interest, activating them during free time, learn cooperation, organization of time and give a chance for a better start in the future.

The offer of educational help was directed especially to those kids that are in a situation that confines the access to learning or makes it difficult due to disabilities, educational difficulties, economical obstacles, cultural differences health problems social obstacles or the problems of a geographical nature . These would be educational and prophylactic classes. The priority here was also the influence on the pupils so that they could better cope with problem solving, mastering their social competences. They would shape the attitude of tolerance through the respect for the feelings, views, likes, customs and doings of others even if they were different from or completely contradictory to those the children already have. The main aim of the Project was the social activation of 72 children that attend to both primary schools through developing in the pupils some basic abilities, early care and preparation for having an appropriate function in their peers group and the local community, family life, local community, native country, Europe and the word. It starts in the childhood that the parents and caregivers are the first to have the pedagogical importance and function so as to teach the children an appropraiate behavior. Almost everyday and subconsciously the introduce values and norms thanks to them the kids socialise and get the direction on how to live In their country and its culture. As the time goes the school is more involved In the process of bringing up and education as a institutian that has an educational function. Students, initially in a new environment start to learn more about notions concerning their cultural circle – including customs and rules that work at school. As they are more and more experienced they make connections – they start to participate in a social life In a more and more full way. Canons of moral gained by the students derive from cultural norms accepted by a given society and here a very important role of cultural integration of children, their parents, as well as teachers, plays the education – and the school is mostly facing the difficult task. What is more the project aim was to enforce the Professional profile of the 16 teachers employed in the schools participating In the project. Thanks to the work done within the project the teachers were gain additional abilities that are crucial in work with children concerning teaching tolerance and schaping appropriate social attitudes. The knowledge was broadened with the elements of social education. Thanks to work on modern equipment bought for classes within the project, innovative workshop programs will be developed for work with children from community day rooms. Exchange of experience with the teachers from partner school will also allow to see the necessity for change in recent individual and routine action that now will be done more effectively because it will be mastered through the workshops. It is known that a quality of a school work is the sum of all actions done by particular teachers. By improving the quality of the teachers’ work the development of the school as an institution was guaranteed. The development is going to move in the multi-aspect educational progress of students. Thanks to direct cooperation and an exchange of experiences by the teachers during organized study visits, workshops and professional trainings crucial competences will be enriched and enforced in the teachers. In this instance team teaching will become another possibilty of work culture creation in which the teachers gain the space for the development of their personal vision, they take the energy and motivation for their personal growth and what is the most important the growth of students. We must remember that “Nobody is born with any prejudices”, and fighting against tolerance should be an inspiration for the pedagogical stuff to take action against discrimination and violence in order to protect the basic student’s rights. Within the project activities we will be “Educated to tolerance through tolerance”.
