Thus, the overall objective of the C.H.A.N.G.E.R.S. project is to exchange the good examples on adult education of the project partners through 4 short-term joint staff trainings covering three main topics: energy efficiency (EE), renewable energy sources (RES) and sustainability in HOUSEHOLDS. Although several learning materials are available online in these topics, there are social groups e.g. the rural population or senior citizens, who have little or no chance to gain knowledge in these topics. Accordingly, our main target group is rural households with a special focus on rural seniors. It is important to note that Europe's population is getting older while 6% of the EU’s silver generation (55+) has no internet access, and 40% of them never used internet. In this project, all partners have considerable experience in adult education in the field of energy and sustainability, and are committed to improve their related knowledge and skills. The best way to accomplish this improvement is to train the staff members of the PPs’ organizations. The outcomes of the project would be the collection of good examples and a recommendation document that serves as a user guide, explaining the ways the adult trainings might be prepared and done for seniors. The project intends to address both direct and indirect target agents. The direct target group includes the staff of the participating partners but we will try to reach further professionals who would like to complement their skills with a knowledge of this area. The ‘exchange of good examples’ type of project addresses primary the participating organisation. However, the partnership is really committed to disseminate the collection of good examples shared during the project implementation, thus, we intend to reach the indirect target group which consists of households including seniors, especially in the rural areas.Expected results of C.H.A.N.G.E.R.S.’ project:-increased knowledge of educators-increased knowledge at participating partner organisations-opportunity to adapt the presented good examples-better cooperation amongst the participating organisations and improved capacity to work and collaborate in a transnational environment -new opportunity for adult educators to improve their knowledge and competences in the field, and for the stakeholders to educate the households -potential to create new ideas as follow-up of the project or as new, future opportunities for cooperation based on the project resultsThe planned activities were built up in order to achieve the idea of increasing the PPs’ knowledge on sustainability, RES and EE in the field of adult education. JSTs are expected to last 3-4 days with optional programmes besides classroom training such as field trip which helps better understanding the topics. The cooperation of various entities from different countries will strengthen our goal to create a balanced partnership where the knowledge and experience of experts can be shared enabling the partnership to make high-quality adult learning materials in the future, while building bridge amongst the project partners via an international project team. For enhancing the spread and the adaptation of the project results, project partners will prepare a collection of good examples using the best practices shared during the short-term joint staff trainings of the C.H.A.N.G.E.R.S. project implementation which will be completed with a short recommendation on how to use the collection in the most effective way.The partners are committed to disseminate the project results during and even after the project closure. The outcomes will be available on the partners’ websites, thus, it can be used for future projects and for further educational purposes. Duration: 18 monthsPartnership:CAM (HU) is the lead applicant of C.H.A.N.G.E.R.S. CAM, as a company specialized in education and development of professional and awareness-raising materials on energy related issues, has great experiences in the field of EE, RES, sustainability, climate change, VET and adult education, and in international co-operation covering management. PiM is a Malta-based SME. As a multidisciplinary research organisation, it believes in the power of human and technology-centered approaches. Its aim is to promote RES, EE and the intelligent use or reduction of energy requirements in Europe through partnerships, awareness-raising, innovation and strategic actions.EM (IT) is a consulting and training company based in Italy. As more than sufficient technological solutions are available, focus must be on removing non-technological barriers. The main barriers relate to fragmentation of the renovation offers, resulting in inefficient or only partial solutions. In addition to financial restrictions and unclear benefits, house-owners do not have a structured way to obtain all the necessary information related to renovation measures. One of the ways to solve this, is the use of ‘1-stop shop concept.’ Many initiatives have already been put into practice. Some of these projects were successful, but several were not. They often lack an understanding of the concerns and demands of the house-owners. REFURB 2.0 will tackle the complex interplay of these barriers through coordinated process organisation, innovation and optimization. REFURB 2.0 will bridge the gap between supply and demand side by: • developing a holistic approach to the renovation process in which technology combinations trigger step-by-step deep energy renovation of existing, private residential buildings towards NZEB-standards. • accommodating the technology solutions to the decision-making psychology and ‘language’ of residential house-owners; this will provide the drivers for empowerment and mobilisation of house-owners for deep renovation. • developing a quality and performance protocol to build trust on the demand side. The above mentioned activities will result in dedicated renovation packages for different market segments and regions in Europe, starting with the private residential sector. A small scale pilot will be carried out in order to validate and demonstrate the REFURB 2.0 solution. This will be followed by a roll-out plan to stimulate EU wide uptake. In addition, a transferability plan will be established for other sectors, whereas the social housing sector will be the first ‘follower.

Despite the all the attempts and activities that have been made for migrants integrations, yet little is known on the specific challenges they face. While there is a continuous development of programmes that are associated with migration and social inclusion, however the majority does not share a holistic approach to evaluate their quality in terms of methods, values and perspectives that will offer a deep understanding of the migrants’ needs. These programs face the challenge of disintegration not only in their quality but also inside their procedures. As a consequence, they turn out as single-dimensional that obsolete methods and processes. Consequently, they alienate the person and its singularity and underpin an inconsistent way in migrants support. The challenge and at the same time the antidote lies at the understanding and embodying of the cultural background, the value system and principles these people carry on from their countries and the gaps that they face with the hosting country. The above provocations demonstrate an imperative need to support cooperation schemes in migration and social inclusion fields. The exchange of good practices among migration and social inclusion providers will give the practitioners and also the decision makers the chance to explore innovative ideas. HOPE will open the discussion among stakeholders to exchange opinions, concerns and questions in order to develop their practices, procedure and abilities for migrant education.ObjectivesO.1. Perform study visits, as a guide of effective communication, on leading migration and social inclusion providers in partner countries to investigate their structures, and exchange practices.O.2. It can be even more severe in case of businesses exposed to the phenomenon of seasonality, especially in the rural areas. Innovative digital solutions can provide efficient tools to overcome these challenges. However, people (owners, managers, employees) involved in these types of businesses (small enterprises, individual entrepreneurs, craftsmen, seasonal greengrocers etc.) very often have only low or medium level of IT knowledge. Furthermore, contrary to multinational companies, these businesses neither have the opportunity to employ experts in online marketing/IT/environment protection, nor have time and budget to educate themselves in these areas. Additionally, there are less opportunities concerning finding expertise and learning opportunities in the countryside than in the cities. The overall objective of the #keepup project is to develop a training package for these target groups covering (1) digital entrepreneurial competences, (2) e-commerce and (3) climate adaptation. The partnership would like to spread innovative practices in the digital era and prepare the stakeholders how to benefit from the advantages of digitalisation. The importance of e-commerce is significant as the market is expected to continue to grow, and traditional shopping habits are changing, especially due to the current external effects. Moreover, climate change causes a shift in travel behaviour, not to mention its effects on agriculture, environment and seasons. With the developed learning materials, even small, rural businesses affected by seasonality can be more competitive, more open to sustainability and more flexible on climate-adaptation.From the four intellectual outputs of the project, three will create training modules in the three main topics. The fourth IO will not only cover the development and testing of an innovative learning platform, but the partnership will also create a manual and a handbook for facilitating its use as paying attention to the possible lack of IT knowledge of the adult trainees. The #keepup team consists of expert partners interested in adult education from 5 different countries. The Lead Partner is the Hungarian Neumann which has great experiences in the field of digital competences and in developing training and e-learning materials for businesses. They also have experience in project coordination and collaborations on national and international level. Neumann will be the main coordinator and will be responsible for the overall quality of the project. The Hungarian CAM will be the leader of the climate adaptive entrepreneurial knowledge module. CAM has participated in several international projects and is currently coordinating an Erasmus+ project. CAM has developed numerous training materials in the recent years, prepared an online learning platform with international partners, and organised adult education trainings in various subjects, such as sustainability and RES.The Italian DLEARN is an EU-wide network made of 27 different organizations. They will be responsible for digital competences module. DLEARN is active in the field of education and digital learning at various levels, collecting practices and ideas to reflect, think and trigger new initiatives, with special attention to entrepreneurial learning and education. The Slovenian BSC, as a regional development agency with over 20 years of experience in EU funded projects, is aimed at sustainability and climate change adaptation to develop the region. BSC is not only an ideal partner to contribute to the materials, but also an influential organisation with a widespread network that can enhance our dissemination activities. The Slovakian CCIS will coordinate the e-commerce module, as they have deep knowledge on the topic: they actively helped some of their members to develop their e-commerce business providing consultancy on legislation, logistic and SEO. Moreover, CCIS has a broad experience in educational and training programmes and in the successful implementation of international projects. The Spanish FUNTESO will be responsible for the development of the e-learning platform, as they have serious experience in designing education and training platforms. The organization provides digital literacy trainings, workshops and other events, and has participated in several national and international projects.Concerning the dissemination activities, CCIS will be responsible for the coordination with the help of DLEARN, but all PPs will actively contribute with inputs and by spreading the project in their partner network. The partnership efforts will result in the multiplier effect of the results and getting in touch with local stakeholders. All PPs will hold two multiplier events: once half-time, and then at the end of the project.
