The INFA, a vocational training center working mainly to develop employability through training adapted to the needs of businesses and a new demand for skills. In collaboration with the Open Air Hotel Union and the CFA tourisme, the INFA implements the apprenticeship training Technicien d'accueil touristique. The Open-Air Hotel Union brings together 99 campsites in Gironde and, in conjunction with other partners, is developing ongoing training programs to develop skills in the sector. The Training Center for Apprentices Animation, Sport, Tourism, CFA hors murs guarantee apprenticeships organized with the INFA and the SDHPA. The association Top Camping Quality, representing 39 campsite of very high quality in Croatia. Mein Platz, a marketing platform that promotes campsites in 10 European countries through a customer experience and according to criteria taking into account new developments in the sector, including the increase in trips by campers. Caravan Center, a company selling caravans and equipment and promoting a concept of camping towers otherwise. Over a period of 18 months, the partners first worked on an analysis of the changes underway in the tourism sector of the outdoor hotel industry. Two steering meetings and two study visits lasting 5 days each were organized, in France and in Croatia, to discuss current practices and developments. The exchanges during and during the project led to three major results: - identify a common list of changes currently under way in different countries and at European level in this sector - to evoke concepts allowing the development of the companies of the camping in the concern of a lengthening of the seasons - the recognition of a greater need for training through practical training in Europe, the latter with training and skills development needs in the sector. - Need for transnational training to meet the new needs and expectations of European customers Among the impacts, we note for all the partners the development of a supranational vision of the functioning in the sector of activity, according to the local data. The exchanges and activities revealed interesting practices that can lead to changes in practices at the national level for sector partners. The project has helped to develop a common vision concerning ongoing developments at European level and an exchange of fruitful practices, and a willingness to work on future cooperation with a view to setting up reciprocal trainees and / or joint training of employees. The project has helped to create a new network, to reflect together on a common issue at European level and to lay the foundations for future long-term cooperation.

Currently small and medium-sized municipalities in the region face significant challenges when meeting their energy savings goals due to the lack of technical and legal expertise hindering the use of advanced contracting schemes. Further challenges include scattered grants and lack of financial engineering at municipal level. BAPAURA aims to tackle these challenges by: • Supporting energy efficiency investments in 115 public buildings. • Developing advanced and centralised energy services dedicated to small and medium-sized municipalities focusing on project development assistance (legal, technical and financial). These services will support the deployment of energy performance guarantee contracts and facilitate the use of innovative financial instruments (e.g. white certificates). • Providing these services at department level through existing local energy support structures that will develop further “one-stop shop” services with the support of regional organisations. • Mobilising service providers and financial institutions at local level. • Introducing innovative financing by optimising the investment plan of municipalities, reviewing all financing options, adapting grants, harmonising subsidy request applications and mobilising white certificates. • Replicating the project results at regional, national and EU levels The main results that BAPAURA will trigger during the project’s lifetime are: • 23,627,000 € of total energy efficiency investments, with an average leverage factor of 16 • 7.8 GWh/year of primary energy savings • 1,437 t CO2 e/ year.
