The iHERE project- Digital HEalth liteRacy Education for vulnerable groups - derives from the premises as set generally in a) the European Parliament reports and recommendations on the importance of providing healthcare to vulnerable groups, as health professionals report difficulties in communicating effectively with these populations about risk-taking behaviors and barriers to accessing information, b) the 'eHealth Action Plan 2012-2020' which identifies the lack of awareness of eHealth opportunities as one of the barriers to a wider uptake of eHealth solutions and, proposes activities support aiming at increasing citizens’ digital health literacy; what is important here is that ICT for health and wellbeing is becoming increasingly important to deliver top-quality care to all citizens currently living in EU.The project includes 8 partners (EhB, PROLEPSIS, RESET, UVEG, AKADEMIE KLAUSENHOF, TUCEP, XPCSA, CSI) from 6 European countries (Belgium, Germany, Spain, Italy, Greece, Cyprus) and it targets disadvantaged and vulnerable social groups, such as immigrants & refugees, poor health and low income people, jobless and marginalized social groups under the risk of exclusion and/or experiencing poverty. These groups often face particular health challenges due to their lower socioeconomic status and lack of adequate social support, they are vulnerable to a number of threats to their physical and mental health, experiencing additional barriers such as the structure of the overall health care system, underdeveloped health literacy, absence or limitation of learning opportunities; their specific health needs are poorly understood, communication with health care providers remains poor, health systems are not prepared to respond adequately, access in health and other basic services is hard. Additionally, apart from legal restrictions on entitlements to health care, they may be particularly affected by user fees, as well as by impeded access to health insurance. In this context, the project addresses the objectives: a) to promote inclusive training by addressing diversity and reducing disparities for learners with disadvantaged backgrounds, through innovative integrated approach, b) to digitize the quality learning content and use ICT as a driver for systemic change to increase the quality and relevance of health care training of vulnerable groups; give access to education and digital training tools to those facing particular vulnerability due to educational, economic, cultural and social obstacles, c) to empower adult educators and particularly educators in the relative fields with innovative training tools and resources (such as curriculum, digital tools, methodological guidelines) concerning the adult education, the Health Literacy and Care, the vulnerable populations training and inclusive practices as well, d) to design and implement outputs and project products for the vulnerable groups concerning their training to face the challenges of Health Care and Literacy, the potential or/and existing barriers arising from the low level of health information, knowledge, practical access in health resources (human, institutions, etc), the health threats, e) to create and form tailored needs toolboxes/resources regarding the diversity and the synthesis of the participants profile, f) to establish the necessary context for a shift in the way the vulnerable groups should be addressed for their effective Health Care and Literacy, g) to provide the essential context in EU, for health promotion, health care & prosperity, wellbeing attitudes, EU security in health systems delivery. The activities include respective intellectual outputs, training/learning activities and multipliers events (National Seminars/Workshops, Final Conference) and the iHERE IOs comprise of the Curriculum and Resources Toolbox, the Digital Context and Components, the Methodological Framework Guidelines. The participants are adult trainers and lifelong educators, training centers leaders, health sector members, public bodies – social affairs representatives, public servants, policy makers, community leaders, community members, NGOs leaders, representatives, associations and organizations with the focus on the marginalized groups and mainly disadvantaged individuals experiencing poverty and/or inclusion, individuals belonging in the vulnerable social groups as the end-users. Last, concerning the overall local, regional, national & EU impact, it is expected that the eHealth empowerment of the vulnerable social groups will lead to a positive change and quality in their life and health conditions, to practical non-discrimination and inclusive strategies with good health factors and wellbeing; the project also sets the essential context in EU, for health promotion, health care & prosperity attitudes, EU security in health systems delivery.

At the centre of this project is the creation of videos that depict one's own situation in the corona crisis. Each of these videos uses a picture/artwork that show fear (e.g. The Scream by E. Munch) or from the current art scene, such as Banksy, which deal directly with the corona crisis. One partner, the Vilnius Art Academy, undertakes guided tours of digital art museums with its partners and shows suitable works online, explains them and accompanies the process of selection for the personal videos. The videos are created in online workshops on the basis of a tutorial. In creating this tutorial, which will be available as a learning video for adult education at the end of the project, the partners who are particularly involved in online communication cooperate with those who offer low-threshold digital storytelling workshops on site. As people with little digital literacy must not be excluded from educational formats of this kind, this group will be given special attention: In a practical phase, all six partners form learning groups with people from this target group, test the method from virtual art tours to the final editing of the videos and finally present the works in virtual storytelling cafés. This phase is documented and prepared in such a way that the experiences can be further used for adult education. In this way, an online toolbox is created, consisting of various learning modules and examples that show how virtual workshops for digital storytelling, which are also suitable for people with little digital literacy, can be conducted using the example of art and corona. A major role in the project is also played by how online workshops can be carried out in the most technically and communicatively adequate way. In the practical phase, the partners will test how such workshops can also be used by learners with little computer/internet affinity and how they themselves can best communicate with each other online. This is also intended to ensure that more digital learning is used in non-formal adult education and that the professionalism of adult educators in this field increases. So far, digital online learning is hardly widespread, with around 1% of the offers (e.g. according to adult education - Volkshochschul - statistics in Germany). In concrete terms, the following products are being created and made available on this toolbox: 1. an overview of existing methods, guidelines, practice models, research etc. on the topic of digital storytelling as well as a transfer to the practice of a virtual format2. a multimedia tutorial on cultural education and art, the expression of works of art and the personal meaning of works of art for people, especially in certain life situations3. a learning video on how digital storytelling can be done virtually in adult education4. a documentation on the use of this educational video with people with low digital literacy and appropriate practical advice and recommendations5. a collection of sample videos6. a tutorial with sample videos on how to run virtual storytelling cafés. Digital storytelling is particularly suitable for getting people with low digital literacy interested in the possibilities of computers and smartphones, as it is low-threshold, playful and creative. But what is crucial is that this method offers a format that allows people to deal with their own history, personality and identity and learn to communicate this to others in an interesting way in the sense of storytelling. Art and creativity are among the most popular areas of general adult education. Especially art can be integrated very well into such a project, as works of art / pictures can be seen (although not always understood) immediately without further skills - in contrast to music, literature / language. We have deliberately chosen art as a theme for this project, as there were many interesting and creative examples of dealing with artworks creatively and digitally during the first lockdown period. This also gave the inspiration for this project.

"The goal of project STOP! is to develop new digital methods and content that will help prevent sexual abuse in Europe better. The project provides informal learning opportunities for all who work with children and adolescents. These learning opportunities are expanded and supplemented for professional trainers who will receive new tools and material for their work. Through European cooperation, existing prevention concepts will be incorporated into the participating countries. At the heart of the project is the development of an e-learning platform that is designed to be used by non-professionals as well as trainers in further education. The learning platform should be graphically / artistically appealing and attractive. Anyone who has anything to do with children and adolescents should be able to learn here how to behave correctly, what to do in crisis situations, how to recognize abuse, what the legal situation is, etc. Thematic fields are explored by the partners and prepared pedagogically / didactically for the learning platform. It covers classical areas of prevention work as well as new and innovative approaches. In addition, there is a toolbox for coaches, which arise from the thematic fields and can be used directly for prevention training. A set of videos with interviews with young people completes the project. Here the young people themselves should have the say.The starting point is the ""Lanzarote Convention"" of 2007, the ""European Council of Europe Convention on the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse"". The project is explicitly in line with Article 5 (1), which provides awareness and training for all those working in the field of child and youth work.Child abuse is a widespread phenomenon in Europe. 18 million children are estimated to be affected by sexual abuse, according to the current European report on child maltreatment. The European Parliament has explicitly stated in a study that a ""culture of prevention"" is missing at European level.Through European cooperation and the development of an easily accessible prevention tool, the STOPP! Project wants to contribute to counteracting this desideratum. The partners involved are adult education institutions that are either familiar with the development of e-learning tools or active in the field of prevention, (sexual) violence and child protection. Together with an external expert, this group will create the most appropriate and responsible learning and knowledge offers on the topic in this thematically sensitive field. The project includes thematic multiplier events (conferences) in each partner country with a total of 160 participants and a training event with 50 participants, in which the prevention trainers are trained to use the new material and network with the participants and partners. The learning platform and the toolbox should take up the following content (or a selection thereof):Classic topics of prevention work• Comply with children and adolescents in a sensitive way• Sexual abuse and the internet• Gender stereotypes of women and men, boys and girls• What to do if abuse occurs, how do you recognize victims, what happens to the perpetrators, what are the health consequences for the victims?• How can children be strengthened? About no-sayAdvanced / new approaches• Avoiding sexualized and stereotyped language usage• Intercultural aspects• Religions and churches in the discussion about protection against abuse• Internal organization of institutions for children and adolescents• The limits and possibilities of prevention work• The EU Lanzarote Convention on Sexual Abuse• National information and instructions"

BRIDGES –Broadening positive Reflections on the Issue of Disability, Generating Empowerment for Stakeholders- supports in a holistic and integrated approach and through really innovative products the capacity building of factors concerning and dealing with disability in society; disabled members of society should enjoy the right of a full and decent life in proper conditions ensuring dignity, self-reliance promotion and facilitation of their active participation in community and it is up to the family environment, training providers and professionals along with society reflections and stakeholders-in general- to ensure that disability deserves equal chances and potentiality. In EU the estimated numbers of disabled people are around 80,000,000 and these people experience barriers to their integration, specific need for assistance, hard health status, functional and activity limitations, limited access to education and training, limited labor market choices, unsuccessful employment patterns, poverty and income inequalities, difficult financial and housing conditions. Added to all these above is the fact that there is a lack of proper information and awareness raising at the level of society and its reflection towards disability and the integration of these people through targeted actions and initiatives which will bring closer the society and its key-factors in the disabled people integration and life quality. Accordingly, what the researches have shown is that beyond the positive reflections and the ‘elimination’ of exclusive practices or discrimination these people face or experience, what is of high value for them is their access to the right of being employed or being given as much as possible employment opportunities; lack of participation in the workplace can put people with disabilities at high risk of poverty and at low level of life quality while on the contrary, facilitation of relative services or training of specific persons acting as the ‘bridges’ between the disabled and the society & employers or the labor/market sector can lead to positive integration results. In the context above what is central is the implementation of efficient and effective actions towards the disabled people participation in society through the recruitment and reinforcement of specific supporters: these people will undertake the role of bridging disabled with society, support them in the labor activation, of mentoring in their employment and of acting as proper and appropriately channels. Thus, in BRIDGES project, the target groups will be public servants and public services representatives, relative professionals, NGOs & CSOs members, members of family environments, who will be trained to support disable people in the employment process and integration procedures. The project’s objectives are: a) to strengthen and reinforce via training and relative tools those key factors involved directly or indirectly with the disabled people integration and the positive reflections on the issue of disabilityb) to create content resources towards the proper training of specific persons, who will act as mentors, ‘intermediators’ & ‘intercoachers’ for people with disabilities and their integration; to cultivate to them special knowledge and skills (as also to act as access-point) such as for example the skills of career counseling, performance coaching, emotional intelligence & empathy building, behavior change and work culture, self activation and symbol work, sustainability & disability, knowledge of labor services provisions, expertise on the supported models of employment, etc, in parallel with labor mapping and contextualization skills for people with disabilities c) to take advantage of the opportunities offered by ICT and digitize the quality of learning content d) to create and deliver innovative products and training tools- as tailored needs learning resources – based on differentiation methodologies and adult education approachese) to promote public campaigns and initiatives on positive and respectful attitudes towards disabled members of community with targeted actions for market and labor key-playersThe project includes 7 partners (ATLANTICA, XPCSA, CSI, InEuropa, CAMINOS, MEATH, Akademie Klausenhof) from 7 countries (Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Italy, Spain, Ireland, Germany) and the activities include respective intellectual outputs and multipliers events (National Seminars/Workshops, Final Conference): the Review Paper on Context (IO1), the BRIDGES Training Curriculum (IO2), the Digital Toolbox & Resources (IO3), the Methodology and Adaptation Guide.
