The main reasons is their lower education level or little personal experience in work with computers and internet services. That fact was a basic corestone for the EGOV project. Project thus was focused on the target group consisting of people with lower level education and with less experience in work on computer. The project partners created eight practical workshops which enable effective training in use of egovernment services. There was created a simulation environment which lecturer can use for some practical tasks in workshops. Each workshop is focused on different aspects of egoverment services. Supporting materials were developed for each workshop. There were developed six different materials for each workshop - three ones for participants a three for lecturers. Each workshop was twice piloted. During pilot period 112 participants were attend pilot workshops. Outputs of EGOV project can use each lecturer or company in all Europe. It is enough to open simulation environment (http://egov-sim.eu). There anyone can find sets of teaching materials for workshops. There is information what steps it is necessary do to create next language version of SE.

At present, still mainly women make a break in their careers to care for the children. After this professional interruption, it is often difficult for these women to re-enter the labour market and find a suitable job, which is partly caused by a lack of up to date professional knowledge. The e-learning platform, which was developed further, translated and transferred in the course of this project, can already be used during family leave and thus contributes to these women proactively addressing their knowledge gaps regarding updated professional skills. This contributes to a reduction of the duration of the break in their careers as they can earlier return to working life as qualified employees. In the context of this project, an e-learning platform containing learning contents relevant for a professional re-entrance was expanded by further modules, translated into the languages of the partner countries and the contents were enriched with regards to country-specific requirements. The e-learning platform is now available to women who want to prepare their return to a job, many institutions as e.g. education providers, equal opportunities representatives and political, economic and labour market representatives. The platform includes learning contents covering the topics office/administration, management, communication, intercultural competences, ICT and the Competence pass, which documents the informally acquired skills gained during parental leave. In addition, the element Wiki-Fem Professional was developed, a module for interactive European exchange of information and experiences. For all interested parties, Wiki-Fem Professional provides the opportunity to upload, share and use professional, practical and application-specific information and learning contents. Thus, it contributes to a professional as well as generic communication between the women and other users as well as to a constant further development and update of the platform. The contents of the “services” module and the uploaded information lead to an accessibility of practical professional solutions and information throughout Europe. This information is valuable to create a better understanding of the situation women face when returning to working life (challenges, requirements of employers, necessary competences) in the different countries, as well to politically improve the professional perspectives of women returning to working life. User-friendliness and contents of the whole platform were tested during two rounds (each) of pilot courses in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands, which led to further improvement of the platform. Due to Europe-wide and interactive use of the e-learning platform beyond the end of the project as well as the opening of the platform to the public (creating a publicly available educational resource), the project is very sustainable. Advantages of this Europe-wide available e-learning offer are the omission of the journey to the training location and the opportunity to flexibly and autonomously assign time to the online training, which makes it suitable also for mothers of small children or women living in rural areas. In all modules, low-threshold pedagogical approaches were used aiming to create a transparent learning environment also for women with no or little previous knowledge. Furthermore, all modules are holistic, integrating the life situation of women returning to the workforce into the formulation of exercises, thus facilitating the application of the new knowledge. To promote the virtual mobility, which is a requirement in today’s professional life, the platform was optimised for mobile devices. By reaching out to a large target group, the project results can make a contribution to reach the aim of the European Union to increase the percentage of adults in vocational education to 15% as women are supported when refreshing their skills.

We decided to stop finishing the Smore and produce the written document Inventory of digital tools and methods and survey results because we emphasized more on the pedagogical aspects in the last part of the project. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1iEfiUlmTYZT2_nMXU6bGwQuDJFmwknRz)The ""Learning Training Teaching Activity"" meetings were attended by 2 participants from each partner organization, both teachers and volunteers. These participants instructed 5 colleagues about how to use this tool in working with the target group, therefore an ""oil slick"" effect in using digital tools took place in the partners' organizations. During these meetings, the representatives from each partner presented different digital tools, together with new teaching methods and suggestions on how to use these tools in class. By sharing our knowledge we learned what methods (pedagogical/andragogical) and which digital tools are relevant for our target group. At the LTTAs each partner presented one digital tool for using in teaching and learning and trained the other partners in using this tool. Overall, 28 tools were presented during the LTTAs. So during those two years those who participated in the LTTAs as well as the colleagues at home learned how to use 28 digital tools in teaching and learning, tried them out and valued their usability for their own learners. All this work had a real impact on our organizations. Now we know more about which tools we can actually use within our educational settings and with our target group of low skilled learners. This has also given us an important opportunity to collect information so we are better equipped to guide low skilled adults towards a qualification with a different approach using ICT."

The project derives from the experience of project partners and addresses needs of adult educators and learners to be knowledgeable and skillful in media literacy for their own and future generations’ well being. Project aims at supporting adult teachers, who want and need to improve their professional competences working with diverse audience of parents and grandparents in order to deliver high quality media literacy programs. Project also aims at supporting (and grandparents) in making them possible to contribute to their children safe, meaningful and wise use of media tools (including digital), as well as developing critical attitudes and habits. This project seeks to promote media literacy as broad and comprehensive concept, not limited by technological understanding and skills, but as a concept that embraces all parts of it and serves for: a) widening personal horizons; b) strengthening professional competencies; c) encouraging and supporting inter generational, intercultural dialogue; d) empowering for critical actions and e) contributing for democratization processes in each separate country and at overall EU level. The project consolidates efforts of 4 organizations from Lithuania, UK, Germany and Spain. The partnership is going to work jointly on development of 3 intellectual outputs: 1) Training course and training materials for adult educators for work with parents (grandparents; 2) Methodology and materials for parents (grandparents) to be used for work with children (grandchildren) at home.; 3) Collection of the „APRICOT“ stories – narrative and digital testimonies of adult educators and parents (grandparents’) about attentive parental education for wise being and co-being in changing times. Project outputs will be developed in Lithuanian, English, Spanish and German. All three outputs are separate and interconnected at the same time. They are coming from the unified vision and concept developed by the partnership. The partnership is going to employ and adapt Critical Thinking, Inquiry Based methodologies in developing its own approach or production of the first 2 outputs; and Narrative History methodology for development of the third output. The first output is going to be tested during international teaching-learning event, the second one – during national ones in each partner country. All outputs will be presented during multiplier events at the end of the project and stay open for use of all interested bodies after it. Dissemination and valorization of the project results is embedded in the project design. Project partners commit to use, adapt, to disseminate and promote project at organizational, local/regional, national and international levels long after the project end. The direct beneficiaries of our project are adult educators/teachers and parents (grandparents), indirect - young generation. But the project is not limited to those groups. The partnership intends to develop products to be useful at certain extend by other groups as well - class teachers, that work with parents; family counselors, that work both - with children and their parents; media professionals willing to work with adults; etc.
