ACT stands also for Artist Create Together in the sense that teachers and students are the architects of their own future. The project is a co-creation in three countries ; The Netherlands, Romania and Slovakia by three independent NGOs: MasterPeace Foundation (MP), MasterPeace Ro (Ro) and EDU 4 U (Edu4U). They’ve worked together before on various projects and are experienced EU-project partners. Their common mission is to mobilize talents for a sustainable future and to contribute to SDG 4, (Quality Education ) and 16 (Peace and justice/ social inclusion-( additional priority). Target groups will be students in the age group of 15- 19 years and their teachers. Recent Covid related reports show that the stress situations of this age group - especially for students from a less privileged background dramatically increased as they lack safe spaces and bonding when they have no, less or only distant learning in lockdown times.Context and backgroundAll youngsters deserve quality education. Embracing digital opportunities is an opportunity to be innovative, effective and to leave no one behind. However we know by experience and are backed by reports that we face gaps in all three countries.Digital is the future of work in all sectors, including Education. The earlier youngsters are inspired and challenged using innovative tools and become digital savvy the better. Education must be ready to coach and facilitate them in building this expertise. All our partners state that now in Corona time their management and teachers are in a “survival mode”. They ask for our support. In Romania and Slovakia schools are in the first phase of digitization. Not in the classroom let alone the vulnerable youngsters at home. This latter issue is also relevant in The Netherlands.ObjectivesOur main objective is to boost the transformation of schools and teachers through innovative digital infrastructures and services to enable the youngsters to grow their talents and become an active citizen, so that vulnerable youngsters are not left behind (social inclusion) and enjoy quality education. Our sub-objectives are:1) To train teachers in their didactic and educational skills to use blended learning and sustain this as “the new normal”;2) To inspire and challenge the students to start community projects for social inclusion using the theoretical blended learning and provide feedback as part of the learning cycle to their teachers and ICT support;3) To improve knowledge and skills of management, staff and teachers so that they have learned to implement innovative blended curricula on citizenship, understand the needsand opportunities, integrate this in their (ICT) strategy and management and strengthen the local and national ecosystems4) To share lessons learned internally and externally. We focus on the teachers active in the “vertical” domain of Social Science. They will share the knowledge with all other domains so as to transform the teaching in their entire school. Externally schools and teachers will share this in their networks of schools and governments. MethodologyThis project is organized around the delivery of 5 intellectual outputs (see below), as well as delivering sound project management , organise 4 Transnational meetings and 2 LTTA trainings. We will organise 3 multiplier events for local dissemination. Results and impactThe project foresees 5 intellectual outputs, 3 multiplier events and 4 transnational meetings. Intellectual outputs are:•O1: Blended learning in a digital era is an innovative resource for teachers•O2: is envisioned as an innovative and up-to-date blended learning course for teachers with the same topics as in O1 Curriculum.•O3: training on the job “how to implement blended learing in social science and citizenships”•O4: ACT in Education Lab as a knowledge platform fed constantly with learnings, and new methodologies developed as a result of implementing ACT in Education•O5: ICT strategy and organisation to sustain the transformation in providing blended learningOther results are: - The projects will be guided by school management representatives and 9 teachers who will involve 270 students. Ca 30 % will have a minority background.- Associated ICT companies will support, share their knowledge and create a new transnational network.- The multiplier events invite in total 90 stakeholders- School management have (new) insights in blended learning- Teachers have more teaching skills and a broader offer of services relevant in a digital era- Students are engaged and empower as they run innovative projects and are embrace the role as co creator of blended formats

He said: “It’s not just an urgent matter – it’s a difficult matter. We have to transform our economy. There are huge benefits, but it’s a huge challenge. The biggest threat is the social one. If we don’t fix this, our children will be waging wars over water and food. There is no doubt in my mind.”ACT as a Doughnut aims to engage, connect and empower youngsters to be an active citizen to co-create ""their ""thriving city. We will develop educational materials; train our youth workers who will train their local associated teachers in the domain of social science/citizenship. Their students will create a city portrait and use the power of imagination on how their thriving city would look like. As a second step, based on education materials re the Dougnut theory they will advise their city on the best next steps. The new methodologies will be shared via various platforms including the global prestigious of https://www.community-arts.net/ (CAN) and https://doughnuteconomics.org/tools-and-stories/14 (DEAL) managed by two of our global associated partners. Together we can be the difference and realize our mission.""ACT"" stands for the “doing” part as now is the time to ACT: The urgency to fight the lack of social cohesion and the lack of how to ""manage"" the environmental challenges has never been so high. ACT is also the abbreviation of ""Artist Create Together"" as we will use creativity, arts, and culture to engage and connect. ACT is a metaphor in the sense that we all are the architects of our own future. To engage and inspire the primary target groups we will co-create with cultural creatives of our CAN network and use their methodologies. ""As a Doughnut"" refers to the theory in the book: the Dougnut Economy"". A book that transformed into a knowledge platform that uniquely combines social cohesion within the boundaries of the planet. (https://doughnuteconomics.org/).Context and backgroundContextWe all are aware that our societies face multiple crises; like climate and environmental; increasing gaps between those who ""have and have not""; lack of (jobs) perspective, (Im-) migration, and a generic distrust in institutes especially amongst our ""Gen Z"" youngsters. Corona enlarges all these gaps. we work towards an inclusive society. It is key that 30 % of the students are from a minority background.Crisis means “a crucial point”. The challenges have never been so high, but we do have the capacity to find answers!. This takes You and Me. This dilemma offers a unique opportunity to stimulate education to be a driver of transformation. Our primary target groups will be youth workers, students in the age group of 15- 19 years, and their teachers. Our secondary target groups are cities, their representatives, and our associated partners.Based on our shared values we create innovative methodologies and formats that will be used by youth workers and teachers to mobilize youngsters to become an active citizen. Two global associated partners CAN and DEAL are eager to co-create while we develop blended educational formats and scale globally. We can build on the toolkits developed by them and the one of the City of Amsterdam. Our national and global associated partners in Education are eager to learn and reuse the new methodologies we develop. All (no one left behind) youngsters, deserve a quality education and ACT to create their own future. However, we know by experience and are backed by reports that we face gaps in all five countries. Youth workers, teachers, students, and cities asked for our support. We aim to drive this transformatio<< Objectives >>The project is a co-creation in five countries; The Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Romania, and Slovakia by five independent NGOs: MasterPeace Foundation (MP), Youth Power (Germany), Fundacja Wspólnota Wielopokoleniowa (Po), MasterPeace Ro (Ro), and EDU 4 U (Edu4U).We have worked together before on various EU projects. Our common mission and values are to mobilize talents for a sustainable future and to contribute to SDG 4, (Quality Education ) and 16 (Peace and justice/ social inclusion.CAN and DEAL are new and act already with great power. Bringing these worlds together we have the power and momentum to create new educational materials, fuel and foster the transformation in the 5 countries and scale this in our impressive networks. As a project team, our mission and passion are to guide youngsters as active citizens and, via our train the trainer approach, grow the competencies in Education to be a driver for local transformation. Both CAN and DEAL as associated partners encourage us (see attachments) to develop via this program new educational materials (O1 and O2) to;- be used by youngsters as grassroots changemakers on social cohesion AND environmental challenges in their cities (additional prio); in O3 and O4 they run and present projects and realize their inclusive democratic participation. (a key topic);- include youngsters with a minority background to inspire them to take the lead towards an inclusive society;- support their teachers to learn new key competencies (additional priority), create a new curriculum, and co-create transnational insights via relays and peer-to-peer reviews. Our main objective is to boost the positive and active participation of youngsters to create a sustainable future in their local community based on shared (EU) values. Our sub-objectives are:1) To train teachers in the domain of social science/citizenship and offer innovative educational materials (topic 3 Creating new, innovative, or joint curricula or courses);a) their key competence in how to engage and connect youngsters using creativity and the power of imagination (Topic 1 creativity, arts, and culture)b) their competence in how to teach their students on social inclusion within the boundaries of our planet. More and more seniors and adults (with fewer opportunities), thus, are looking forward to another way of regular money incoming into their households and are positive towards entrepreneurship opportunities, as they see self-employment as a valuable and appreciated option.Seniors and adults with fewer opportunities are beneficiaries of our activities and their needs are directly influencing our needs, needs of partner organisations. Thus, after doing a short survey among beneficiaries, all partners agreed that they need to improve their adult education NFE activities with quality Entrepreneurial Learning (EL) in line with the new era entrepreneurship concepts, in order to provide quality, attractive and effective activities for personal and professional development of seniors and adults with fewer opportunities in their communities. Motivation of partners in this project is to “equip” seniors and adults with fewer opportunities with set of skills needed to work on personal development in fields of entrepreneurial intelligence and creating (self-)employment opportunities proactively in today’s reality of employment uncertainty and the world of extinction of many known jobs and occupation now and even more in the future. That new needed capacity is entrepreneurial intelligence - competence that can be trained and developed by gaining different skills, knowledge, attitudes through quality adult non-formal education. This project builds up on our previous experience with the aspect of entrepreneurial intelligence, mind-set and creativity competences, as a new level of adult learning for self-employment and entrepreneurship.Project objectives:•Empower seniors and adults with fewer opportunities in entrepreneurial intelligence and mind-set development (including intrapersonal and interpersonal social-emotional and creativity competences), through development of inspiring, innovative and up-to-date handbook and e-learning courses.•Empower our adult educators and improve knowledge management of adult education institutions and organisations in theory and practice for building competences of adult educators in entrepreneurial mind-set and creativity in entrepreneurship development of citizens, through training course, innovative Guidebook with curriculum and e-learning course for adult educators’ training.•Exchange good practices and further develop quality strategic partnership among partners from 5 European countries with different realities in regards to citizens’ self-employment and entrepreneurship. We expect following direct participants / beneficiaries of our project: -12 staff / project managers and assistants; -18 teachers/trainers/researchers and technicians working on the intellectual outputs; -30 multipliers adult educators that will test the outputs with at least 120 citizens (with fewer opportunities) on local level-12 adult educators, participants at the LTTA, multipliers to additional 40 adult education providers empowered and encouraged to use our intellectual outputs in their work;-205 participants of the multiplier events.Project activities:A1 Project ManagementM1 Kick-off meetingO1 Handbook on Entrepreneurial learning, Intelligence and mind-set development for adultsM2 Second meetingO2 Guidebook with Curriculum: Empowering adult educators for Entrepreneurial learning, Intelligence and mind-set development among seniors and adults with fewer opportunitiesM3 Third meetingO3 E-learning course for educators: Entrepreneurial learning, Intelligence and mind-set development education for seniors and adults with fewer opportunitiesO4 E-learning course for beneficiaries: IntRApersonal aspect of Entrepreneurial mind-set developmentO5 E-learning course for beneficiaries: Leadership, Teamwork and other intERpersonal skills within Entrepreneurial mind-set developmentC1 LTTA Training of trainers E1, E2, E3, E4, E5 – Open conferences in RS, HR, SE, DE, NLM4 – Evaluation meetingProject will directly impact organisational capacities to work on providing quality entrepreneurship education to mainly seniors and adults with fewer opportunities. Important aspect of peace-building is prevention of conflicts, that is also being achieved by creating local perspectives. We find social entrepreneurship as the key approach to it. As proven through our activities, young people are increasingly aware of their roles and responsibilities in society, and have become eager to earn money while doing something good for “the world”. That is why we believe facilitating the start-up, development and scale-up of social entrepreneurship among MasterPeace Clubs and other partner organisations in the project is contributing to peace-building.Developing educational approaches on entrepreneurship, and particularly social entrepreneurship among young people is the core of this project. Using their past experiences with entrepreneurship education, the project partners are planning to develop new methods to address the needs and constrains of their target group – NEET youngsters, young women, the target group characterised by high level of unemployment, low degree of financial independence and social power, and very low involvement in managerial and entrepreneurship positions. The project aims to change the situation described above by equipping youth organisations and youth workers with tools and approaches they can use to support entrepreneurship of young women in a way that is socially and culturally appropriate. The project gathers organisations that already have experiences of supporting young women to be socially and economically active and allows them to develop new ways of dealing with the challenges they have identified. When implemented, it will result in strengthened support system for NEET / young girls, particularly from rural, more traditional and disadvantaged communities. Project objectives:-Empower our youth workers and improve knowledge management of youth work organisations in theory and practice for building competences of youth workers in social entrepreneurship for sustainable future with less conflict, for NEET youngsters, young women - through LTTA and innovative curriculum and online course for youth workers’ training.-Empower NEET youngsters, young women for social entrepreneurship start-up and quality social marketing of theirs, through development of inspiring, innovative and up-to-date handbook, toolkit, as well as the online courses.-Exchange good practices and further develop quality strategic partnership among partners from 5 European countries with different realities in regards to youth social entrepreneurship for a sustainable future with less conflict. We expect following direct participants / beneficiaries of our project: -12 staff / project managers and assistants; -18 teachers/trainers/researchers and technicians working on the intellectual outputs; -25 multipliers youth workers that will test the outputs with at least 100 youngsters (with fewer opportunities) on local level-15 youth trainers, participants at the LTTA -240 participants of the multiplier events’ conferences Project activities:A1 Project ManagementM1 Kick-off meetingO1 Curriculum “Social entrepreneurship youth work for a sustainable future with less conflict”M2 Second meetingO2 E-learning course for youth workers “Social entrepreneurship youth work for a sustainable future with less conflict”O3 Handbook “How to start-up the social enterprises for a sustainable future with less conflict”M3 Third meetingO4 E-learning course for youngsters “How to start-up the social enterprises for a sustainable future with less conflict”O5 Toolkit “Social marketing of social enterprises for a sustainable future with less conflict”M4 Fourth meetingO6 E-learning course for youngsters “Social marketing of social enterprises for a sustainable future with less conflict”M5 Fifth meetingC1 LTTA - Training of trainersE1, E2, E3, E4, E5 – Open conferences in HR, SE, RS, DE, NLM6 Final Evaluation meetingThe initial impact of this project is that it will increase the capacities in five local communities to provide effective entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship education to young women with fewer opportunities. Project partners, as well as other organisations and stakeholders reached through the multipliers meetings, will have at their disposal more effective tools and more competent staff to engage in entrepreneurship education young women who come from the most disadvantaged backgrounds. Thanks to that, the effectiveness of youth work and non-formal education in those communities will increase. The overall number of young women who will receive entrepreneurship education will also increase thanks to the online courses. Since the target group of this project are particularly those young people that are otherwise the least involved, reaching them will make a big difference on a community level.
