Each partner comes with a unique set of expertise and experience either in the field of education for Youth, or interactive technologies and Internet-based tools for education and training, policymakers and the world of work collaborative work in the field of Youth, entrepreneurship and education and training. Although partners have various background and expertise, there is a common vision, goal, and experience and that is the integration of young individuals in the entrepreneurship sphere. Within the framework of the Europe 2020 Strategy, this programme contributes to entrepreneurial education and training to tackle youth unemployment. What we see a lot, is that young people have finished their study and are still not able to find a job easily. Also, quite some jobs have simply disappeared by outsourcing to non-EU countries and by automation. The YES project helps Youth Workers very practically to learn in practice entrepreneurship with all modern and digital tools, within their Venture Achievement Pathway (VAP), that is their business project idea/plan. Youth Workers will be trained by trainers that are entrepreneurs themselves nowadays and share their current knowledge and experience with them. The intellectual output will be that youth workers have developed the basic competencies and confidence to create their own business and know how to use the practical tools for that. This programme has been already tested in more than 30 education and training organizations providers (ETP) in The Netherlands and is based on the “effectuation” methodology. The target groups of this programme are young people aged between 18 and 25 years old who are facing learning difficulties from lack of motivation to educational capabilities limitations. These individuals are at the end of their formal education courses and (almost) ready to work or to continue to the next level of education. In both cases, this programme will provide them a solid base for starting their own company and they even have the possibility to continue their concepts developed during this programme as a start-up company. The project aim at achieving the following objectives: - provide the Trainers the capacity to teach our methodology to Youth workers (IO1); - give the Youth workers the possibility to create their own businesses (IO1); - stimulate the use of Digital Skills on XXI Century companies (IO2); - create an International Network of Trainers in Entrepreneurship for youth workers (IO2); Within our programme, we stimulate and practise the use of Digital Skills on 21st Century companies, including literacy skills like 3D printing, Virtual Reality, website and webshop design and media literacy through e-learning and publishing, learning skills like conceptual and creative thinking, collaborating within a team and with other independent professionals and communicating via modern channels. Expert entrepreneurs have learned the hard way that the most interesting ventures are built in a space in which the future is not only unknown but unknowable. Still, yet, entrepreneurs do shape this unpredictable future. They use techniques which minimize the use of prediction and allows them to shape the future. The unique thing is that by equipping the Youth Workers, we create a multiplier effect among youth. From the start of the programme, Youth Workers start to engage in skype meeting, and/or other digital tools that support/enhance collaboration with experienced entrepreneurs and peer Youth Workers in other EU countries to get feedback on their concepts and to inform about the potential impact of their concept in that country. This way Youth Workers learn to think in an international context, enlarge their (international) network and benefit directly from this approach.

Thus last few decades, stood out entrepreneurs who consider sustainable development studies based on increasing the life quality while avoiding harming natural resources, innovation, and creativity. At the end of the process a new kind of entrepreneurship, eco/green employment which is environment and ecology centered, appeared. On the other hand, young unemployment is a problem that is usually encountered in the least innovated economies. Our country also faces the young unemployment problem due to its high young population. This problem is also one of the biggest of EU’s especially Mediterranean countries’ problem. In our country according to TUIK’s data young unemployment rates are %27, 9 among the age group who are 15-24. College graduated unemployment rates have been higher than any other years for the last 20 years. This points out that universities are insufficient in the matter of being employed and lots of young have been considered as a lost generation. Young unemployment rates are %50 for Greece and Spain, %43 for Italy and %20 as for our project partner, Hungary. Green entrepreneurship which is one of the top topics that EU prioritizes, eco-innovation processes and creating a support system for the needs of young are going to be considered as a whole in our project. EU’s “2020 Smart, Sustainable and Inclusive Growth” Strategy, supports the working models that focus on green growth so while sustaining welfare it does not harm nature. It’s targeted that by 2020 creating employment in the sector for 3, 5 millions of people and reaching the resource efficiency in working processes by 2030. Between the years 2014 – 2020, 220 million Euros were planned to be used for the purpose. Green entrepreneurship lies at the basis of development, both by adopting environmental benefits and considering the priorities of unemployment and economic welfare. The ultimate goal of our project is to contribute to the developing of a green entrepreneurship ecosystem and to build a successful international model based on the idea that a developing and growing economy and a healthy environment can be combined. In addition to that;- Creating green entrepreneurship center as a first and good example- Developing green entrepreneurship applied training set in order to use by trainers and facilitators- Revealing green startups across Europe and make them scale- Preparing field research and carry out a needs analysis for stakeholders and actors in green entrepreneurship sector. - Increase the number of green jobs and contribute to the fundamental transformation of green employment. This green enterprise center will work as a network and be a center of consultancy, education, business development activities. By bringing staff that will work within the center, independent experts, NGO workers, investors, academicians, and entrepreneur candidates together this canter will hold some activities such as; idea workshops, joint study grounds, workshops, educational activities, and consultancy service. Besides this center, 4 different outputs will produce in cooperation with 4 different partners from 4 different countries. In addition to intellectual outputs, international meetings (4 times), training and learning activities (2 times for students and experts), dissemination activities (6 times) and study visits (3 times) has taken place. Project design base on non-formal learning methods and tools by targeting youth' needs and problems by using ICT tools for 24 months. To achieve the stated objectives, Büyükçekmece Municipality and GEO from Turkey, IMRO DDKK from Hungary, the Academy of Entrepreneurship from Greece, the Lithuanian Institute have established a partnership. Many of the objectives set out in the project have been achieved, even exceed. To the extent that it will contribute to economic and social benefit in the medium and long term;- Steps were taken to transform the green entrepreneurship center into a 3-floor complex of approximately 450 square meters.- 42 experts and 12 start-ups graduated from the program as a result of mentorship services and O5 process. - 102 participant involved an international exchange in LTT's, TM's and multiplier events. - International Bootcamp in foundations laid and first- 11 young people were employed and economic value of approximately 380,000 Euros was created (based on our estimations thanks to employed youth and graduated start-ups' valuations)

By supporting the creation of an incubation programme in VET, students will become active economic players of the region - thus supporting the local development. SELF-REGENERATE recognises that developing entrepreneurial competences and business English are two sides of the same coin. The need to develop entrepreneurial competences is urgent, as is set out by the EU’s EntreComp. As recognised by Eurostat (2012), we need to increase the entrepreneurial careers of young people. This can only be done by raising awareness of entrepreneurship, developing entrepreneurial competences and helping them set up an enterprise that is adequate to today’s markets. Moreover, it is recognised that no second language is a barrier to career progression and becoming a successful entrepreneur. Eurobarometer’s ‘Europeans and their Languages’ (2012) reported that one of the main motivating factors to learn a language is to improve career prospects and work abroad. However, language support is limited and costly for young people (Eurobarometer, 2012). SELF-REGENERATE will achieve this by creating a practical methodology that combines the Bridge Model and business English. The Bridge Model is a structured method with 4 stages from pre-start up to a mature and sustainable business. This is based on BTF's experience of supporting over 40 enterprises of different sectors and countries to become fully fledging enterprises. This methodology will be complemented by the improvement of students' English. The ability to speak English is seen as a key to raise your career aspirations. It plays an important role in upskilling the students so that they can make their enterprises more sustainable and also become more employable. This will result in a flexible methodology, allowing students to start at the stage they wish. It will be delivered by mentoring and/or independent student work. These results will be achieved through the development of the following outputs and their targets: O1 - SELF-REGENERATE Curriculum & Trainer's Manual: the curriculum and how to implement manual that will equip Trainers to become expert start-up and business English coaches. 2 trainers will be trained during the pilot stage of this output. The manual's will be part of the online platform and shared during the multiplier event so that more VET institutions can access the material. O2 - SELF-REGENERATE Training Manual for Learners: Aimed for the students, this manual will enable them to become entrepreneurs that can revitalise their peripheral region. 20 students will receive business coaching during the pilot of this output. The manual's will be part of the online platform and shared during the multiplier event so that more students can access the material from any background. O3 - SELF-REGENERATE OER and Online Platform: An online platform where SELF-REGENERATE products with interactive learning material and handbooks will be downloadable. Moreover, it will also have an action platform encouraging peer support in English and Enterprise. Multiplier Event: Final conference in each partner country
