NIGHT4FUTURE

Description

The NIGHT4FUTURE project aims at showing that the Earth's future is possible thanks to the constant collaboration of scientists from different fields. By implementing Researchers’ Night programme, we will show that although the climate situation of the Earth is very difficult, science gives hope for saving it. The slogan "in science there is hope" will be the main motto of the whole event. Its aim is to make young people see science as a source of strength, opportunity and hope for the future. During the event, we will show how every field of science (technical, humanities, natural, health science) can be a source of hope to save the planet. Topics will highlight the importance of the European Green Deal for Europe and its citizens. See how the super engineer of the future will be, listen to the green alarm for the Earth, trace trash in space, take part in workshops about climate change, explore the secrets of biodiversity. You will find out that scientists are ordinary people and their work is really fascinating. The NIGHT4FUTURE project is a continuation of projects from the last fifteen years, but it also presents many novelties. Module Researchers at schools, pre-events and post-events have been prepared enabling researchers and pupils to interact on societal challenges revealing the key role of research in addressing these challenges. Based on the experience of previous years we are able to modify the program and the way of organizing events in response to the changing situation in the world. Topics of individual Partners have been selected to be consistent with the overall message of the project. This year's project aims to strengthen the previous ones and shed light on new aspects of science. We want to teach young people that the work of scientists brings hope for the planet and it is a lesson worth learning from them. We want Researchers Night 2022 and 2023 to be a great celebration of science, promotion of research careers and family fun.
