Skok przez przepaść - kreatywne staże dla biznesu

Description

"<< Background >>Our concern is to support young people on the path from education to employment and self-employment, thereby strengthening the human capital of our cities and regions. We are interested in ways to overcome the current crisis, and even to use it to create development perspectives. We respond to two problems in our environments:1. Poor preparation of young people to enter the labor market.2. Limited employment and self-employment prospects and weak instruments of supporting young people in staying on the labor market (also in running their own businesses).Formal education is not enough for a good start in professional life, and the gap between education and the labor market is huge - a common phenomenon, also in Mrągowo, Raahen and Turin. We observe that formal education provides learning outcomes in the form of knowledge and skills resources, but does not equip young people with the ability to manage these resources in their life and changing reality. All key competences are needed to build such personal know-how, but the leading competences are here entrepreneurial competences. This is what we intend to deal with in our project, developing the activities of our organizations by a significant step.<< Objectives >>Creativity is the basic condition for change and therefore development. To create something new, you at least have to imagine that it can really happen. This means that we can make the move and open a new living space, full of energy and synergy. In our project ""Jumping through the gap - creative internships for business"" we metaphorically need to make a leap together with young people across the gulf of barriers and challenges in the transition from education to employment, and making this leap requires creativity and entrepreneurship. Our goal in Mrągowo (Poland), Raahen (Finland) and Turin (Italy) during 22 months of the project will be to raise the level of preparation of 45 pupils, students, graduates and young entrepreneurs under 30 to: employment, self-employment, running and developing companies. We are moving towards creating such an educational and development offer for young people that will give a chance to pursue a career path, will complement school education in the area of entrepreneurial competences and will strengthen the position of young people on the labor market and in business. It is also building foundations for the development of indirect creative jobs based on the creative sector and modern ICT, opening the job market all over the country and around the world without the need to migrate. We want to ultimately create the so-called training, apprenticeship, internship and observation centers for professions, and to support modern education for the professions of the future, focusing on entrepreneurship and creating one's own jobs.<< Implementation >>We will work out and use an innovative formula, the so-called creative internships for business, where trainees and interns will make a ""leap"" to innovative solutions, services and products - thanks to the knowledge and use of various creative thinking techniques and design thinking, learning by doing methodology and the support of tutors and mentors from three partner countries. Increased creativity and entrepreneurship of our participants will translate into better personal development, the development of companies in the creative and cultural sectors, and counteracting the crisis in education and business in the era of COVID-19.<< Results >>During the project, 45 people aged 18-30 (10 interns and 5 entrepreneurs from each country), in creative teams of three (an entrepreneur and two interns) will take part in 30 creative internships for business, completed with 15 so-called internship products to be used for the further development of the interns' companies. Young entrepreneurs will be trained in the form of a 5-day competence training in company management, and interns - in the management of their own education and professional career. Their tutors will work with them in this process using the design thinking methodology, in which they will also be trained. As a result, the participants of the project (interns and entrepreneurs) will develop competences in the field of initiative and entrepreneurship (key competence), defined as: creativity and non-schematic thinking, innovation and risk-taking, the ability to plan projects and conduct them consistently to achieve the intended goals, the ability to identify available opportunities for personal activity: educational, professional or business, proactive management (planning, organizing, managing, directing, analyzing, communicating, etc.), effective negotiation and presentation of positions, the ability to work individually and in a team, the ability to identify and assess your own strengths and weaknesses .An important result of the project will be the creation of a program guide for dissemination in three countries and abroad, in 4 language versions. During the project, we will reach 90 pupils, students and graduates aged 18-30 and 150 people - representatives of organizations / institutions and entrepreneurs from environments interested in implementing the program."
